Filipino grocery store with cafeteria style food at the back of the store. The store sells many filipino items and premade food. Got a couple of items and they were delicious. Also tried the food which was also flavorful and tasted like home cooked food. A bit on the saltier side and a bit oily but tasty nonetheless. The only con is the cost. Around $14 for 2 items with rice. For the amount we got it was too expensive.

Wish they were closer to home but they provide a service for Filipinos and people who want Filipino food brands that don't live close to Roosevelt Ave. Their food buffet in the back is fairly priced and absolutely delicious. $12 for 3 choices with rice?! Home cooking at it's best. Def a hidden gem and they deserve better recognition

i was there today aug 2 2024.the food is good honestly i like it. but the atmosphere and service is bad. its almost a 100 degrees and its lunchtime 1pm you are just using the fans .whats the use of your AC its summertime... didn't even finish my food because we were sweating so much already...

CHECK your receipts BEFORE you leave. I have been a loyal customer of this Filipino restaurant for over 3 years already, but yesterday I was charged $15 for kare kare in the smallest container. The $15 charge is for the medium container, but I ordered small only but got charged $15. Too late because I was already at home when I saw the mistake. I don't think this is an accident, because I remember it happened to me last year as well, pero pinalagpas ko since this WAS my favorite Filipino restaurant. Well, sorry not anymore my favorite because of what happened.

This turo turo resto should teach the women that works their to wear a hairnet specially the skinny one with lioness hair,she's disgusting her hair was all over the place when I bought my food and when told her about it instead of putting it away she put it back to the food she took off the hair but the food with the hair she put it back to the rest of the whole pan,what a disgusting piece of ??? I complain about it to the other lady she said she would talk to her ,but then yesterday when I went thereshes not wearing a hairnet as well as with the others her lioness hair is all over ,please this is not a fashion show ,you are dealing with food ,have some decency practicing hygiene !!!! Also the menudo I bought ,theeat in not fully cook!!!!who wants to eat something with some one else's hair !!!!next time it happen again I will report u to the sanitary dept.wear a freaking hair net!!!!

I bought 3 types of food last night in a small container. Pork binagoongan, pinakbet and bicol express. We were excited to eat and didn't bother to smell it if it's good or not. 45 minutes after, we started having discomfort. Stomach ache and nonstop diarrhea. Up until now, we haven't eaten any solid food and still have a stomach ache and diarrhea and because of this I was not able to go to work. I used to work in a restaurant before and I know if the food is old or not. Probably, the food that I bought yesterday was old and had been in the steamer for more than 5 hrs.

Food is good. Customer service is not the best. My total was $9.97 but they said the minimum for card is $10.00 like really? You’ll do that for $0.03 cents? C’mon And when I came back, the store owner confronted me in-person saying, you could have asked nicely. Well, in my opinion, if you see that it’s only $0.03 cents off, you could have initiate to say “oh this is fine, we can take card for this”. That is what a good customer service is rather than confronting people in-person. This is not a good customer service at all. This is DEFAMATION (a lawsuit) especially there are customers around.

I’m really getting annoyed with this store because this has happened to me several times already — not just once or twice, but about four times now. And whenever I complain to them, they always deny everything. The first time was when I bought mung beans, and they were spoiled. I called them and reported that the mung beans were sour. But they just said, “No one else has complained, ma’am. So far, you’re the only one.” 😂 It’s so frustrating! They act like nothing’s wrong. If I wasn’t so busy with work, I would’ve returned their spoiled food. But it feels like they make you look like the one who’s wrong. Then last Tuesday, I bought food again because my kids and I were extremely hungry and too tired to cook after a 12-hour trip. The next day, 6/24/25, their squid was spoiled — or I don’t even know what was wrong with it. The taste was really weird, like something unrecognizable. The texture was awful, like it wasn’t squid at all. I wanted to return it again, but someone at home told me they don’t accept returns for that. So that’s money wasted — again! It’s so frustrating because that’s hard-earned money. It’s just really upsetting. If you’re going to sell food, make sure it’s good quality. We pay properly, so do your part too. And then you even get mad when someone returns something. Unbelievable.

I've been a customer of this store for awhile but today is not good when one of the food it's smells bad especially the coconut ones, I called first before returning the food, the front cashier/owner is quite rude/mad whatever she instructed the cashier to the restaurant section to refund, she take so long to compute, finally she handed me the money but not the actual amount of the returned item. I asked, why the amount is not the same, she said, she deducted the tax, instead of returning the full amount plus tax???! Don't want to argue, instead I left and said thank you 😊 .

Came here for lunch today. I ordered BBQ and was served cold. Staff didn’t even bother to heat it up and doesn’t really care. It’s a shame. Food was actually good but you should work on the attitude of your staff. Never coming back again.
