Habit makes a good burger. Made fresh to order using good ingredients. They make your meal fresh, so expect to wait the time it takes to make your food. I had the double char with cheese and fries. The meal did not disappoint. This location is decent, with outdoor seating option.

Had an OJ special. The BBQ chicken sandwich with no onions, no tomato, add an onion ring and it was delicious as always! You should ask for it! You won't regret it! Just walk up and say "1 OJ Special please!" And they will know what you are talking about (you might have to describe it for the new ppl). Then thank me later somehow. Probably in your head since we can't leave comments on reviews. Either way, you're welcome!

Great Hamburgers and always fresh! Live coming here and bring the family on the weekends. With a variety of dishes everyone gets what they want plus the ice cream isn't that bad..lol. The parking lot is huge so no worries there. I would definitely recommend coming to this joint you won't be disappointed.

Hands down my FAVORITE burger joint. Honestly. The burger is always so fresh and comes out hot. Tastes grilled and the veggies are crisp. The grilled onions is a great add. I love their fries, their ranch and BBQ so good. I mean I just love the habit so much. I get a charburger with cheese. Also their salads are delicious as well!

Habit Well, there is nothing better than good old habit. With many different locations, this one is pretty close to us which is located on a huge plaza right next to petsmart, so you can always find yourself a spot. We have ordered for pickup before and our order was always made on time. Eating in is always great as well, they are usually busy but we somehow managed to get a seat most of the time. They have large variety of soda and iced tea so something for every taste. When you come in, you will order at the register and they will give you a buzzer to pickup when ready. We have never tied their burgers however I heard they are really good. I just love love love their ahi tuna sandwich. It is absolutely amaZing, paired with some sourdough bread, either their teriyaki sauce or sometimes I like to just put ranch on it. It does gets a little messy, but who cares! Most of the time we get well done tuna instead of regular medium rare(personal preference and wife doesn't like raw fish at all) with yummy buttery bread, lettuce , tomatoes....ahhh heaven... their fried are regular but good. Really, it is inexpensive, fresh and delicious fast food place but you can taste good quality. I would prefer this place over any other fast food anytime.

Great time had by all. I took my family and could other people. My 6 year old as well my Mother all eat and enjoy the hospitality from all staff members. The food was great prepared right in front of us. We had a birthday celebration with lights and song

It was an enjoyable lunch. The parking lot was a little congested but eventually found a spot. The soup and salad were good. I ordered chicken and shrimp and it was good. I wasn't a fan of their white sauce, it was very different compared to what I usually get. The service was decent, we were out of drinks during our meal, we received our refills with the check.

Really enjoyed our night here. My group was having a mini celebration for our 10 year high school reunion. It was so much fun. There were a couple issues with the table set up since we had a few last minute cancellations, so it took a while to seat us. It ended up being fine and gave us time to catch up. They're very generous with food servings, so we were pretty stuffed by the end. The cook/performer was excellent and very friendly. Much better than Benihana. There's tons of parking if you know to park on the lower levels.

Quick friendly service. The teriyaki is excellent. The sashimi is just below okay for my taste, I prefer thicker sliced and fatty cut. The oyster shooter is the da bomb. Will go back.

We went to Yamato on a Saturday night as my son was asking for it. The prices definitely went up a lot! Cheapest was the chicken menu for $33.99 including soup & salad& steamed rice - (we got no shrimp appetizer I believe)- shrimp menu was $36.99 and combo steak + chicken was $39.99. Total for 3 with taxes and tip was about $150. Honestly expensive for what we got and the experience. The " show " is always the exact same, which I guess it's fine & normal - the place is loud and there is a lot of smoke (obviously) - not very classy, very low/middle class crowd. Service wasn't bad. The chef we got was Austin - nice guy, efficient, we were there about one hour. I wouldn't go often but perhaps once a year for a special occasion.

Staff were nice, food was good. The ordering kiosks are a dumb idea. There isn’t enough space for 2 lines so you stand there looking like a doorknob till one opens up. If someone doesn’t want to wait in person in line they should order with the app

The service was terrible. I had to get up four times to find my waitress to ask for some thing. Sake and beer were great as usual. We tipped the chef separately he was great! The food was fresh and enjoyable, recommend the halibut it's amazing. All in all it was a good meal. We had a good time other than looking for a waitress constantly it was a joke. We left her $25 on $200 which I thought was generous. The chef saved the day. His preparation was fun and the food was good..

When u enter there is a weird smell that’s not from the food and i think its because of what they use to clean which is not pleasant. The three star is only for the food which was not great but not bad either, halibut was good. Sushi was good too. Although our server took enough time to say because the drink we got had refill the other person couldn’t share WHILE i was drinking it. Which i dont understand, A LOT of restaurants offer refill drinks and i’ve never ever had this experience. It’s MY table and i can share and eat whatever i want since I’M paying. So there’s that. Better places for service and food out there.

It's been a while since the last time I've been back to this restaurant. A lot has changed. Food is not as good as I remember. I go here for their Tepanyakki... I find it a little entertaining. But this time, the style of cooking is not as good. They messed up the order. The steak was not done correctly. The salmon doesn't taste fresh. So, overall... I won't be back here anymore.

Good food, fun atmosphere subpar service. Eugene our chef was very gracious, food delicious, our female server lacked & the man who appears to be the manager doesn’t give off the impression that he enjoys being of service to his patrons. This was my first time visiting this establishment, I hope to return for good food and better service.

This was my favorite restaurant in Santa Clarita but thier ususal excellence seems to be missing. The quality of certain foods have declined. I had my usual chicken entree and it was so dry I couldn't eat. My friend had the filet mignon and said it was so chewy it took minutes to be able to swallow. Even thier excellent fried rice seemed mediocre. Just to check if it was a fluke we went back for lunch a few weeks later and the same problems I asked to see the manager and instead if being even a little apologetic she started cutting our meat on the plate and said "see there's nothing wrong with the meat" we stared at each in amazement. Didn't offer to take some reduction on the check but just nonchalantly walked away. It's safe to say it's not my favorite restaurant anymore.

Decided to give them another try after several years after a bad experience but this time service was much better but unfortunately a few things were the issue this time around. The tables and chairs need a good wipe down. Everything was super sticky and just a bit worn. Prices are crazy high too since we went for Father’s Day lunch but they only served the dinner menu which meant dinner prices too. Basically $50 each + the up charge for fried rice so another $6! Food was average I ordered the rib eye and halibut. Rib eye was over cooked even though I ordered medium rare and halibut was super dry.

Manager tends to berate customers or drivers she dislikes. I've noticed she tries to embarrass people whom she deems inappropriate for her store, myself amongst these. I deliver for a a third party vendor and she sees me often . I try to be as professional as I can . But, when she intends to confront and embarrass me at the counter I have to match energy with her as calmly as I can. For some reason she picks on me because she's got it in her head that I trash her bathroom. I do NOT do this. I use the bathroom often because of medical issues. Nothing gross, just need to go often.

Not the bsst Habit Burger its not that clean food is not tasty at all pattys were burnt and bitter tasting and even tempura green beans, that I like very much were bad. If you want some tasty good food definitely not this location.

Honestly the worst hibachi I’ve ever had, the service was horrible and the older front desk lady was extremely rude. Will never be back I can see why the reviews aren’t the best. And automatic 15% tip for 2 people, when the service was the worst

This place sucks. Dirty, tacky/ugly, and the sushi is terrible. It’s cheap for a reason. Anything with mayonnaise is just absolutely gross. I’m not picky but that stuff made me extraordinarily nauseous.

I just left this restaurant and I have to say, after coming for years tonight is the night I say never again. Waiter Yosep had an attitude and after him the rest of the waitresses! I had to get up to ask for a refill, for plastic spoons for my kids. No once did a waiter or Yosep approach our table to see if we needed anything or to pick up what we had used. I asked for 2 apple juices for my kids with no ice, the cups were not filled all the way when I asked he said "is because you said no ice" Yet I had to pay full price... Worst experience I've ever had at yamatos in Encino. I'm sticking to Yamatos in Stevenson Ranch since the atmosphere and the waiters are a lot more professional. YOSEP, do better... that attitude of yours is just going to lead other costumers to stop coming just like me. Also, as I was getting ready to pay.. the older waitress stood right next to the girl in the front while charging me and said "oh no tip".. My total was $130 for 2 adults, 2 kids .. no alcohol beverages.. I think that's more than enough despite the fact we had a horrible experience. Please know that when you leave a tip on the bill by paying with a card, the cooks don't get it... it goes to the waitresses...

I work next door . I came to place an order and the older lady at the front desk was extremely rude and had a very bad attitude. She asked me to use the machines to order , I’ve told her I was on my lunch break and I was in a hurry cause I only get 20 minutes lunch she totally ignored me and started helping other customers who came after me . She made feel so unwelcome. I will never be back … later I found at that she is the manager . How could a manager could be so rude and unprofessional, when I mentioned my experience with my coworkers some agreed that they had the same experience with this lady . If this place is managed by someone so rude and disrespectful like this manager you will be losing a lot of your customers. This manager needs a lot of training.

I went to this restaurant to place an order, and the behavior of the staff member behind the counter, who was a middle-aged woman, was extremely rude and unprofessional. It is really disappointing that a restaurant would have such impolite staff. I also feel sorry for the management of this restaurant for allowing such behavior from the person taking orders. It’s important to highlight that the staff member behind the counter, who was responsible for taking the order, was a middle-aged woman. I'm truly disappointed with this restaurant and its staff. It's really shameful. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came in to place my order, and the cashier, Nicole, told me to use the self-order machine. I explained that I don’t want to enter my phone number or email. Instead of helping me, she ignored me, and a few minutes later she started taking other people’s orders. If she had simply told me to wait, I would’ve understood. But being ignored is not how customer service should work. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses it.

If i could give the service 0 starts I would. I have no idea why they would not take my order. The lady instructed me to use the kiosk. However I had questions about items and prefer to order from the counter. I waited about 5 minutes and none of the employees did anything. I was the only one there to order too. Insane!!! I walked out. Avoid this habit, rude employees for sure.

Always pay attention to your order. I removed onions from my order however it came with ONIONS and the patties were nearly burnt. Of course, They changed it but what would happen if I hadn’t noticed ! So disappointed

I am very disappointed! The food quality was very poor. The burgers were dry and overcooked. The fries over and under cooked. I been coming here for more than 10 years and have never experienced this. I left still hungry and very disappointed. I was so thrilled to eat here today and left unhappy. The food was the worst. I am beyond angry that I spent my money here. I can’t describe how upset and disappointed I am.

Habit has apparently switched from Coke to Pepsi, which is an immediate 1-star from me. Price has gotten out of control as well. $36 for a chicken sandwich combo, double char, and strawberry shake. That used to cost $25 just a year or two ago. Employees aren't helpful and they make you use kiosks which take forever to figure out and use vs talking to a human and they still have the audacity to ask for a tip. Oh, and they want to charge 60¢ for ranch now. Literally the worst nickel and dime-ing I've seen in a long time. Literally sticking to In-n-Out from here out where I can more food, and better food for $25 — and their employees are still paid well, so I know this isnt about 'california fast food minimum wage law', get outta here with that nonsense. How far Habit has fallen into the grasp of corporate greed...
