Super host in the fact that when we stepped into the cabin it was warm and inviting. Outside when we got to lake arrowhead it was 34 degrees outside and it felt 27 degrees. What a sweet deal for celebrating my 60th birthday 🎂

Jacob was such a great server! We were a huge party with a lot of delays in arrival, lots of toddlers, a drink spill, and loads of other mayhem. He was kind, courteous, and on point our whole dinner. If this had been my first time here, he would have been my reason to come back.

We came in on a busy Veterans Day weekend and Sammi was such a pleasure as a server. She was attentive and so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and deals. Plus the food was delicious. Our server Kaitlyn was incredible, she was bespoke, a great listener, and always available, but our true shout-out comes out to our artist, Kay. I'm forever grateful our server provided us her name as we'll always call ahead to make sure she's on the line when we come. I won't lie, we arent the 'easiest' order-ers with our dietary restrictions, but she made every every accommodation, every adjustment, (everything out of the kitchen honestly) a bespoke and hospitable experience. I've worked in Hospitality before, and it SUCKS to accommodate for ppl sometimes. Kay took it as an exciting challenge! It felt like I was at Benihana, but with a pazookie at the end 😂. Kay + Kaitlyn? They're an unstoppable pair. I'mma tell my family, Bj's with them 2 together, or sleep for dinner them nights 😂

Jacob is a six foot, handsome, and top quality worker. This man should have oppertunitys to Michelin Star Resturaunts and Famous people. Definitely would come here on a Saturday between 8-10 PM to get a chance with the GOAT Jacob.

WOW—the Pizookie was incredible! It was my first time trying it, and I’m officially a fan. The woman who helped me was so warm and sweet. As a disabled veteran on a tight budget, I truly appreciate the free Veterans Day treat. Wonderful service and delicious food.

Our gym class of nearly 60 people had our Christmas luncheon. The food was great as well as the service and everyone had a wonderful time. I also go to BJ's frequently with friends for happy hour. The prices are great and the food is delicious, I would definitely recommend BJ's!

It's been a long time since I was last here. But since we're only in town for a short time I had to get my hands on a Pizookie. I ordered a white chocolate and macadamia nut pizookie. It does take a little bit of time to make. So let your server know ahead of time. We also had their jalapeño burger and ahi salad. Really good portion sizes here you'll leave full and with a bag of left overs. Food was great no complaints. They've expanded the Pizookie flavors but I always go with a classic. We came on a Sunday evening it was really crowded. I made reservations around 4pm for a 7pm dinner and had no issues. I would recommend making reservations so you won't get stuck waiting if they are busy. Only complaint is seating. The booth seats are super cramped. Parking lot is huge. It's located next to Westfield North County.

Food, service and table all were great. We got seated right away. The pizza is deep dish and very good. The pizookies are the best thing! So good. They have a really fun non alcoholic drink selection too soda cost $3.75 each.

Absolutely wonderful place to eat and catch up with friends! Richard and Luis are the BEST servers and good samaritans I’ve encountered. They’ve not only provided exceptional service during my dining at bjs, but have saved my precious cat from a burning tree, and even helped my grandma carry groceries inside her home and took her to the hospital when she fell and was unable to get up. Will only dine at BJs from now on. The best place to dine if you want people with good hearts that expand beyond the food industry!

Wonderful experience! The whole staff was so helpful, Marcos was delightfully courteous in taking my order, Kayla helped grab any extra condiments when my food came out, and I highly recommend sitting at the bar when Andrew or Luis are working if you wanna have a smooth drinking experience. My sister and I took our father to the Escondido location for his 80th birthday dinner and we had a wonderful experience! Matteo was the absolute best! He was personable, attentive, knowledgeable and just plain adorable. We were too full to eat pizzookies so we asked him to box them up to go and discovered two birthday candles packed in. It’s that extra special touch that has cemented this location as my go-to “must visit” whenever I come to visit my family.

I recently visited BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, and I must say, the food was great! We particularly loved the burgers, which were delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were really friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and our food was served quickly, which we appreciated. If you're planning to enjoy a beer, I recommend sitting at the bar for a more relaxed atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning!

The new additions to the appetizer menu or absolutely fantastic, I haven't had an appetizer that good in very very long. Our weight staff was very accommodating, and very quick. Our waitress was extremely friendly and funny. For desserts she basically read our mind. The atmosphere was also not crowded, and the weight was quick.

Food was good but our drinks took a very long time and I had to ask out server to check on them. We originally waited over 10 min to be greeted by our server and to get waters. Server was very distracted and was spending alot of time with two younger female clients who might have been his friends at the table behind us. Server never came back to ask we we needed anything ( ie dessert ect) after meal was dropped off by another server. We also want two extra meals to go but could not get his attention to order these so we paid our table bill (via scan) and went up front to order our to go orders. No patron should have to leave their table to go to the take out counter to finish their order. We were at the restaurant on Sunday 9/28 starting at about 1 PM check #94 table 314 .

Got seated super quick and easily on a Saturday night! Jacob was an awesome server, my steak didn't come out quite right and he was tied up with another table for at least 10 minutes and we could see how hard he was working to help them, but when he came back to check on us and I let him know about my steak, he made magic happen to fix the situation. New steak came out perfect, dessert was excellent, and his attitude and energy were out of this world!

I am a big fan of loaded nachos, and BJ's has the second best nachos (after now-closed Rock Bottom brewery). I did reorder the loaded nachos, which was not up to the usual high standards. The avocado used as a topping was not ripe enough, and the cheese was over concentrated on a few nachos. Avocado egg rolls were splendid. The vegetarian deep dish pizza could be more flavorful. It was dry in the mouth, too.

This place was soooo good!! We ordered some appetizers and wings, I personally did not like desserts but the others in my party thought they were amazing! The Brussel sprouts were heaven! The service was a little slow and not the best but the place was still very good!

Overall the food was tasty. The kids enjoyed their chicken and macaroni and cheese kids meals. We got the nachos and there was ample chili on top but the cheese was stuck to the paper they cooked the nachos on, and not just a spot here and there but all over-see photos. It was cold in here restaurant and we asked 3 times to have the heat turned up. Each time they said certainly but it never got warmer .

Modern American restaurant chain offering comfort food with a nice bar area and large dining facilities. Fryckle fries were hot, crisp, and addicting pickle appetizers with ranch and aioli sauces. The clam chowder had nice chunks of clam and potato served in a hearty medium sized bowl. Southern fried chicken was crispy and moist with some pepper to add spice. Creamy gravy and mashed potatoes with sautéed corn. The gourmet five meat deep dish pizza had a pillowy, warm crust. The meat toppings were tasty. The red sauce lightly covered the pie. Power bowl with blackened salmon, included raw cubed cucumbers, sliced red onions, corn and black bean mix, on a bed of guacamole and quinoa / rice / cauliflower mix. It is a medium to heavy dish and not as refreshing as I initially imagined. Sliced, grilled chicken over fettuccine alfredo. Creamy sauce with broccoli and soft noodles. Mini-pizookie was a nice end to the meal. The chocolate cookie was nice and warm. Thanks to Riley, our server, during a busy evening.

So we passed up Thai, Indian, Mediterranean and Mexican for a stop here at BJ’s. I couldn’t believe it. I just hoped BJ’s lunchtime menu had a decent hamburger. We had also decided to grab a small pizza from the pazooki menu to take home for our dinner. The wife had some ‘not so good’ Mahi fish tacos with some kind of green sauce that I think was not intended for dipping my fries in. I ordered a very good cheeseburger from the pazookie menu and an iced tea that was serviced properly. Everything on my plate was very good. The burger, the fries and the quantity of each. We even ate the pazookie before we finished. Our server was good and on her game but couldn’t give a fair reason for the, in our humbled option, very large number of senior diners, including us. The place was very very full, only to watch it empty almost immediately just before we finished. Beats the hell outta us. ??? The marks today are my assessment including the slimy thing on my seat, the sub-par tacos and our to-go pazookie pizza don’t come with the salad. It came with the pazookie, minus the ice cream, but without the salad. The take home pizza was still good on this Friday night. Dicks

15 mins to get a table even after a reservation Another 20 mins wait for the server to give us the menu’s Water took another 15 mins to come to the table. Phew then came the food. Boring, tasteless and flavorless. Wasted so much of my time & money here. The salmon was dry The pasta dishes were blah Kids chicken was super duper salty The lemonade tasted funny The Bloody Mary was just watered down and bland. Nothing great about this place.

Service seems fine, I'm hoping my food will be good, but whoever is cleaning the floors and tables needs to use a de greaser. Really off putting to have your shoes slide weirdly along the floor as you are lead to the table or your hands stick to the table top. Major 'ew' factor for me.

This was my not so extreme pepperoni pizza that was already cold when it was brought out for curbside pickup, as you can see it had hardly any cheese and I could tell it had been sitting around because the box was cold on the bottom, it wasn't even warm, and yes, I wasn't late to pick it up, I was actually on time and had to wait about 15 minutes after the time said it would be ready, $50 for a pizza and two small salads, you would think it would be a little better than this.

Very disappointed. We got seated and were forgotten about. We were on the patio and no one came out for over 30 min so we left. We shouldnt have to go in and remind anyone we're there. Not even a drink order. Was really looking forward to a date night with my husband, first time going out to eat after having a baby and this is where I really wanted to go.

My husband and I visited your Escondido location for lunch on Sunday September 14, 2025 And I am giving you my feedback which should have been a great visit was nothing but a huge disappointment When you go to a restaurant, the very least you expect is to be acknowledged and offered a drink order. That never happened here. We sat, waited, and were completely ignored. Finally, we decided to leave. I asked to speak to your manager . When I told the manager we would not be eating there, and why I was leaving , the only response was a flat ‘sorry.’ No attempt to correct the situation, no effort to salvage the experience, no accountability whatsoever. A manager’s job is to set the tone and make things right when service falls apart — instead, this one showed indifference. If customers can walk out before even being offered water or a drink, and all management can say is ‘sorry,’ it speaks volumes about how little they value their guests. This isn’t hospitality, it’s negligence. I won't be returning to your restaurant. Consumers have expectations, a sorry is no long is the magic word. Instead I am upset and for valid reason You have lost a loyal costumer and you should never take things for granted Word of mouth matters My best

Usually really good but we got takeout and there were quality issues. My pregnant wife pulled a mission avocado STICKER out of her mouth from the guac and almost got sick. They also messed up my ahi tuna salad by providing no dressing or wasabi, just a dry greens meal. I think this is the last time we order from them.

Today is January 29th. You have some young guys working in the bar area, and they're not being attentive to their customers. I'm just making an observation because this is my favorite restaurant. I would appreciate it if you would talk to them. I know they're busy, but attentiveness is key. Waiting isn't the problem, but the lack of attention is.

I haven't been back here in months. Last time I was here it was a decent experience. This time I arrived with my friend because we wanted good alcoholic drinks and we were hungry. The server took our order for our drinks and had us waiting for them a long time. Then a new server came and apologized that our drinks were not ordered and she would redo it. She came back again and apologized it was taking so long. Which it was about 15 minutes. She took our order and the drinks finally came in. A few minutes we took a couple sips of our drinks and I told my friend I had to use the bathroom she came with me and we were only gone for 5 minutes when we returned they had cleared our table and two people were sitting there. The server was taking their order. I told her that was our table and she looked confused and apologized but she was the same server that took our food order and gave us our drinks how could she not pay attention and see that we were still there and we hadn't received our food yet. She told the couple that she apologized but they had to wait again because that was our table. I felt bad for the couple they looked more confused and embarrassed than the server. I told her never mind were leaving. I was very upset and I know I would have not enjoyed the rest of the service and the food. So we left. I have never had that happen to me. Will never be returning here again.

We had a really disappointing experience at BJ’s . My burger came out cold and actually had a piece of paper stuck to the bottom of it. I bit into it and it hurt, it was like wax paper very tough. When we brought it to the manager’s attention, she said it was the paper they place between the burger before cooking…. Service was also very inattentive. It took a long time to get our food, and our server mentioned the unlimited fries but never brought any refills or even came back once. My baby was supposed to get fruit and that didn’t come out either. I had to flag down the manager myself to address everything. She did comp the burger, which I appreciate, but overall the experience was frustrating and disappointing. Definitely not what we expected. I actually expected a bit more from BJs since I’ve had good experiences at other locations.

I ordered the Deep Dish Ziti. Not at all what was described on the menu.The dish had an abundance of pepperoni.1 meatball cut into 3 pieces. Very little flavor. 1 over cooked garlic knot. Photo shows all the pepperoni I didn’t eat. It fills half the dish.
