Wow! This is a hidden gem! I had a fellow foodie tell me about the amazing food here, and I have been waiting patiently to enjoy it when I was in the area. I had to try the special, the pork ribs! It was covered with molasses BBQ sauce and accompanied by some delicious potato salad. The Lamb pita was executed perfectly with tzatziki sauce, basil, and tomato. It was super moist and tasty. Another dish that really stood out was the salt and peppered ribs, wow what a unique spin on ribs! They were to die for! I can't forget the burger as it towered in size, cooked to perfection, with a fat piece of bacon, cheddar cheese, Lettuce and thir secret sauce on a sof brioche bun! If you like burgers then you are going to love this one! Aside from the vast beer menu which surprised me with the uniquely created craft; the desert was so decadent and a must try! I tried the peanut butter torte, it was so rich and delicious! This gem has plenty of indoor and out door seating, and is a perfect place to enjoy some amazing dishes, great customer service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Easy 5 stars from me. 🌟✨️🌟✨️🌟✨️🌟✨️🌟
Heard great things about this spot so hubby and I decided to try it out. Great selection of beers! Appetizers, dinner and dessert was legit! We sat on the patio with our 6 month old. They have high chairs which helped. Overhead heating lamps for when it got cold and asked to have them turned off when it got too hot. We are officially fans and look forward to many more visits to come.
Excellent meal. The ahi tuna was perfectly seared, very fresh, not fishy at all. Octopus appetizer was very good, portion a little small, great for one person, not really a share plate. Shisotos were delicious! Generous portion, and loved the preparation with a very light crema and cotija cheese.
Fantastic experience at The Cork and Craft. The Sweet Corn Gazpacho was exceptional—bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced with tomato and a subtle chili oil finish. The Grilled Broccolini with lemon herb chimichurri was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. Big thanks to my server Gavin, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the experience genuinely enjoyable. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Sorry but forgot to take photos of food! Anyhow we ordered pretty basic stuffs, NY steak, ribeye steak, calamari appetizer, Salmon. The steaks are a la carte, so it has a very clean look. Sides are ordered separately and serve separately . Food are very tasty! This place is very friendly and has excellent service. We decided to sit outside patio to relax because inside was kind of loud. Overall it was a great dining experience. Highly recommended.
The Cork and Craft in San Diego has a vibrant vibe, perfect for team outings or casual hangouts with friends. It feels like an upscale bar with solid food and great indoor-outdoor seating. The chicken sandwich was good, but the bell pepper hummus was a standout. Friendly staff made it even better.
Easy to find. At happy hour I found a spot in the bar. Enjoyed a flight of beers and ordered balsamic brussel sprouts paired with salt and pepper wings. The flight was a nice introduction to the beers available and the food was prepared exceptionally well and took very little time to be served. I’ll be back again!
What a great dinner! Went for my husbands birthday and it was amazing. Gavin was just absolutely delightful, we got great service. We love all the beers and all the food, will definitely come again. The quality of everything was top notch, very unassuming from the outside but very classy inside.
Found this brewery by chance on Google map, decided to give it a try. Great beer selection from their own brews, they also have their own wines, but it looks like they are grown in Lodi. We tried the flight options, all were very good to their own. We are not into ipa, so if that is your taste, there are quite a few selections as well. Menu for food is small, but covering a good variety. I can understand that they are trying to be very good at the selected few. I do wish they would have a few more selections for appetizers things in small portions, even offering some chips and/or nuts for people who just want a quick drink. Good rusty atmosphere indoor, there are some outdoor seatings. Overall, recommend.
My wife and I just happened to be in the area unexpectedly due to a medical emergency and I wanted to make the best of it. Found this restaurant and the experience was outstanding and turned my whole psychology around, it really made a positive impact on my psyche, I’m not kidding. Loved the ambiance and vibe, it’s modern and while hip and really great lighting and furniture (and great layout, too, I love the hallway that separates the dining room from the bar, and we chose to eat at the bar, whee we got great service and of course the awesome food. But the bar area was really appealing, the kegs of beer behind the bar, the nice bar lighting (I know I already mentioned lighting but this is specifically the bar area) and cool counter. My wife had the lobster roll and tater tots. She normally eats gluten-free but no way she was gonna pass on that delicious true to New England lobster roll. No element disappointed. Delicious flavorful lobster, perfect texture for the dressing, and great split top roll. And the tater tots are perfect. By the way, even though this is a beer place, uh, wine is great! My wife had a sparkling rose she loved, it came out of one of the spigots like the beers! I had the prime rib sandwich. WOW. Delicious. How do they do it? Seems so basic but it’s the seeded bun, the horseradish aioli, greens, it all works perfectly. And fresh hot crispy fries. We stayed a while drinking after we finished our meals, enjoyed the great service and the vibe just put us in such a great mood and turned our stay in the area positive! I won’t forget it.
I went here a long time ago and remembered liking it, so I'm glad I followed my hunch and recommended meeting some friends here. They have a nice covered outdoor patio (dog friendly of course). On the cold winter day we were there we had the patio to ourselves, which was nice since two couples brought their babies too. Service was quick whenever there was something to bring, but they left us alone a lot when we didn't have an order on deck, which was fine since it was probably clear we were all having a good time catching up with each other. Abnormal Beer is their in-house brewery, we all really liked the beers we had from them. Since they have a separate listing in Google Maps for that I'll have a review there for the beers. The food definitely feels a tiny bit upscale for the venue. The prices aren't crazy but when the menu lists the executive chef, you know they take themselves seriously. We all definitely enjoyed the poutine as an appetizer. I adored my short ribs, I didn't even need a knife to cut through the meat! The bread pudding creme brulee was definitely more bread pudding than creme brulee, luckily I like both so I didn't mind either way but if you prefer creme brulee over bread pudding you might be a bit let down. Ultimately I would definitely come back here. It's very close to the freeway so it's easy for people to converge here.
My family loved the special tasting menu we had. It was a great setting in what was basically a chef's table with a great view of the action in the kitchen. The food was all very good and showcased an array of flavors and textures. The beer pairing was a great touch as well. The service staff was all very good and attentive. I'd definitely come back.
We went to here for a late lunch early dinner with a small group of us from work. Everyone worked there was very friendly, and we were sat immediately. The food and the drink menu look great. We were first given the lunch menu but then they swapped it out because I think we passed 4:00 p.m. We all coincidentally ordered different salads and upon arrival it was clear they were overpriced. Two of us added chicken to our salads and apparently that's $8.50 to add to an already meatless salad of 13 and $16. At that point they are the same price as the entrees. The salad portion was decent, but the chicken was so overcooked it was dry as a bone. We all had to choke it down as we did not want to send it back and wait or make a fuss. The other two Caesar salads added salmon which seemed to be properly prepared. The handsome gentleman that sat us over her that we were looking for some non-alcoholic drinks at the time. He recommended these amazing sodas/fermented style drinks. They were amazing and it was a wonderful recommendation! I had been here before and thought the food was decent, but unless they get the way they cook the chicken under control, I can't believe they were charging what they were. As a whole the place had a great style, decor and vibe. They had all sorts of beers and also had some cell stairs and hard kombucha which was nice for a variety! Because we were there for a late lunch we didn't really order any of the entrees, hopefully they are better than the salads!
UPDATE: Jan 2026 (Surprise Sushi Menu!) We ran into a pleasant surprise at The Cork and Craft during happy hour. They have expanded their offerings with a sushi and sashimi menu! THE NEW FOOD ITEMS 🔥 Yuzu Yellowtail Sashimi: Thick-cut slices arranged next to an eye-catching bed of shredded daikon, carrots, and greens. The plating was striking and matched the freshness of the fish. 🐠 Pinku Rolls: Yellowtail slices draped over spicy tuna rolls. The presentation was charming, with the pieces circling a heart-shaped cherry tomato in a nest of shredded veggies. 🍣 The Hot Night Roll: Generous slices of fresh yellowtail and salmon draped over a spicy tuna roll. 🍆 Curried Eggplant: Rich and flavorful chopped eggplant with harissa, tahini, and herbs. A great veggie option. ⭐ Service: Special thanks to Anthony for the consistent and friendly service during this visit! (Original Review: The Classics) Upscale local hangout with a nice wine and beer selection. Offers American appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. THE FOOD • Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings: These have been consistent favorites for years. They have a crispy outer skin and are topped with an addictive garlic, scallion, and chili flake mix. (Tip: Ask for this topping on the hot potato chips, too!) • Brussels Sprouts: Generally a good bite with chunks of pork belly, balsamic, and cheese. SERVICE • Special thanks to Gavin for the excellent service over the years—you help run a great floor!
We did a last minute work dinner for 10 people. Had no issues. For apps we got the Brussel sprouts and wings. Both were good. For dinner, Ai got the bone in porkchop with polenta and carrots. Everything was good. Not great, but good.
Cork & Craft has long been one of our go-to spots for date nights, which makes this review disappointing to write. Over time, we’ve noticed a steady decline in both service and food quality. One of the highlights for me used to be the peanut butter torte dessert, which has unfortunately been removed from the menu during our last few visits. On our most recent visit—New Year’s Eve—the menu had changed again, and the overall experience fell short of expectations. Dinner consisted of a Caesar salad, a ribeye steak, and one beer, totaling $78. The Caesar salad was fine, but the ribeye steak, which was requested medium rare, arrived cooked medium well to well done. While the kitchen did refire the steak without issue, the server was never informed that the original steak had been improperly cooked, which added to the sense of disorganization. Service throughout the evening was noticeably slow. Given the rising prices, changing menu, and ongoing service issues, Cork & Craft no longer feels like the reliable date-night restaurant it once was. Sadly, unless there’s a significant improvement, I don’t see us returning
Little too fancy maybe? Large selection of craft beer, but the three different ones I got were flat. Calamari was very bland and tasteless. Brussels sprouts were good but swimming in balsamic. Them tater tots were piled up and cooked well. My friend said the burger was good but his wife didn't like the whipped mozzarella and banana chips.
4% surcharge... so no need to tip. The first 4 beers we ordered they were out of. Maybe put on menu what you are out of. Wings and Brussel sprouts were great. Beer wasn't as good as last we went here.
This place must serve good beer because their food was not great. We started with a mixed green salad and the hummus with naan bread. The salad was fine...it was a salad. The hummus was a confused dish. They served the hummus in a mini cast iron pan, implying it would be hot, but it's not, it's cold (as hummus should be). It was a generous portion of hummus, but only two pieces of naan bread. There should be 4 for the amount of hummus provided. The naan looked to be store bought, but they did heat it up. For mains, we had the braised short ribs and the salmon. The short ribs had a sauce that tasted close to mud, and nothing was well seasoned. The salmon dish was decent. All dishes had a beautiful presentation, but for the price, quantity and flavor, the value is not there.
Very odd and disappointing experience. We have been coming to the Cork and Craft for years since it opened. Last night we were very disappointed. We came to the restaurant at 5:30, got seated. Everything was fine, and knowing it is quite busy there we were patient with slower food service, missing menus and even no refill of water. At 6:25, the hostess suddenly appeared at our table telling us we have a few mins left since there is a reservation for the table at 6:30… we did not ask for any specific table when we came and got seated there. At that time our dessert has not yet come, I told her in this case, we no longer need the dessert. Please bring the check. The hostess brought the check with the dessert included…. Luckily our actual waitress noticed and corrected for us. The hostess was very unapologetic and insisted she told is we had a few mins… The experience was unpleasant. Not sure if we would wanna go back again.
