As always service is great and fast the food is good and the worker kind and curious. I've never had a bad experience and have been going there for years now

This Del Taco is the best. Their service is super friendly and they are kind and fast. The food is great. We go there more often than I ever thought I’d go to a fast food place because of the good service and fresh tasting food. They always load up the tacos with tons of lettuce, chicken and cheese, no scrimping ever.

As someone who has experienced fine Mexican cuisine from the heart of the country itself, I can tell you Del Taco is nothing like that at all. However, if you've got 3 bucks, 20 minutes for lunch, and want a decently filling meal, Del Taco is where it's at. I mean, anywhere with a hot sauce called Del Scorcho has to be great, right?

This location is the Best Del Taco in Escondido by far, most room to dine and most times your able to sit at a clean table, exceptions are during lunch rushes and the popular Taco Tuesday & Thursday rushes as well, aside from that, very well maintained and staffed!

This is the good Deal Taco. The fries are always fresh and seasoned, the tacos are crispy, and they've never run out of Beyond Meat. If you know, you know, this is the one.

This is a magical unicorn of a Del Taco...I know what you're thinking: 'Not possible...it's fast food.' It is possible. It always smells terrible outside, but it is spotless inside, and the food is always fresh, and the people are awesome.

This is the best managed fast food restaurant in the county. I'm through the drive-thru 2-3 times a week, well over a thousand visits in the past 10 years and could probably count on 1 hand the number of times I had a problem with an order. The best Del Taco I've been to, and I've been to many locations throughout SD, OC, IE, LA. In terms of food quality, quantity, cleanliness, and customer service, this location outperforms any other Del Taco I have been to. Attention Del Taco Corporate, if you're reading this, this location should be your gold standard for all other locations.

Enjoyable eating experience. This del taco is cleaner than any other that I have been to. Their Chicken Taco del Carbon still uses regular size corn tortillas, whereas most now use street size tortillas. And, they give two tortillas per taco, instead of one. The owner/manager of this franchise works to make his store the best, and he succeeds. I drive farther just to eat at this del taco. Enjoy.

This Del Taco location is the best in Escondido! Celestino and his crew do a fantastic job in all areas. You are greeted with a friendly smile and welcome when you walk in. The staff are all friendly and efficient. The food arrives quickly and tastes great. It is wonderful that everything is fresh and mostly made in house. They have no problem with adding or subtracting ingredients from an item. The lobby, dining area and bathrooms are constantly being cleaned. They decorate for most holidays. It is a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a meal.

Best iced coffee. Always treated well. Very accommodating to my custom requests. I even forgot my wallet once and they said just pay us sometime today/tonight. Used to be a Taco Bell person. With their new 20 under $2 menu I am a huge fan. I highly suggest using the app to put in your orders. It gives you rewards and guarantees your order will be 100% correct. The staff here at this location are super friendly and the lobby is clean. The mini churros are amazing!!! I stopped at this Del Taco while on vacation in the area, and I just wanted to give a great review due to the young lady working the window on the morning of Fri., 11-12-21. She really stood out as a very friendly, hardworking person and she took the time to say good morning and ask me how I was doing while busily getting orders ready for everyone waiting inside at the counter, etc. She made it a very pleasant experience, and I was impressed at her work ethic and overall attitude. She deserves to be made a manager, or she will be hired away for a much better job very soon! She is an inspiration!

I've gone here multiple times not once have I encountered a bad experience with their customer service. I love going the regularly for the strawberry shake it's always on point and it's my go to place for the strawberry shake. The tacos always fresh and taste great. Whenever I go to Vegas, I always stop at Del Taco in Baker. That was the best location I've ever eaten at. Well, the one in Escondido is like I'm eating at the one in Baker. Food has always been consistent and tasty. And their fries...OH MY GOODNESS!!! Always hot! A slight crunch on the outside. I'm a slow eater , the fries always stay hot during my meal.

I have been going through the drive through here for probably 10 years. They always get the order right. I don't think I've ever been inside until today. It's so clean and the staff was friendly and the food was ready fast, and was hot and good. Best Del Taco in the area if not all of San Diego County.

Have been in and out of here since I was a kind and now that I'm 27 the service is still great, the restaurant is clean, and if your food isn't great they actually want to make it right. Cele (hope I spelt that correctly) and his team are simply cream of the crop, 5 star, champions!!! Hope to enjoy the same great service for years to come!

Have been visiting THIS DT for over 2 decades and this is the best one because of service. The manager is pretty friendly and there's a young man (Moises) is always helpful. There are 2 other DTs in Esco and neither one can compete to the friendly and welcoming service that East Valley Pkwy Del Taco provides. Keep it up .... but can you bring back Mr. Pibb.... so much better than Dr. Pepper.

This Del Taco is top-notch! I have been to many throughout Southern California and to all 3 locations in Escondido. The E. Valley Parkway location is far and away the best! It all starts with the staff. The manager, Celestino has been there for over 20 years, he’s extremely friendly, knows me by name and makes me feel welcomed and appreciated each and every visit. The food portions are much fresher and more generous than any other Del taco location, it’s VERY noticeable. If I request a dozen or more hot sauces, they don’t think twice and don’t skimp on the little things. I will literally go out of my way in order to eat at the E. Valley location because it’s such a better product and experience. The restaurant itself is always clean and tidy, you can tell they pay attention to all the little details. The rest of the staff is always professional and helpful, I’ve never come across a bad employee. I rarely ever submit reviews, but felt compelled to do so for this Del Taco since they continue to surpass my expectations year after year. I recommend everyone try it out. If you’ve only been to the other 2 locations in Escondido, you have to see how much better this Del Taco is than the others. I GUARANTEE you will see the difference. BIG THANK YOU to Celestino for for always providing the best experience and for running such a professional restaurant!

WOW! Truly impressed. Del Taco really blows the competition out of the water! Visited DT after a decade-long absence and was thoroughly impressed with the whole experience. The place was spotless inside and out. The food was the freshest, best quality I've had at any chain restaurant. The prices are very reasonable too. Definitely will be returning frequently! (Picture is a chicken burrito combo. Burrito contains: roasted chicken, beans and a little rice, tomatillo sauce, cheese, and fresh avocado slices. Combo includes Mexican rice (tomato chutney, cilantro, onions), beans with cheese and red sauce, a bag of chips and salsa. $7) TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!

This location has the best fast food employees. Very nice and helpful. The food is consistently good. My new favorite menu item is the carne asada fries. The only downside is the popularity of this one can make the drive thru take a little longer. It's something to expect from a quality food place.

Much more fresh ingredients than Taco Bell. You know you are eating beans as they have some whole beans mixed in. Fresh cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and homemade guacamole. They are fast with putting together your order. If you frequent Del Taco, get their app as you get 20% off and free food.

This Del Taco is clean and decent. The only drawback all the homeless that infest the the outside eating areas. Management is pretty proactive, but what are you going to do when they are actually paying customers. Still, I don't take my small children out to sit and dine anywhere near them. Otherwise this is a good Del Taco, and I enjoy eating there every so often.

The layout is nice here, they have a outdoor patio for seating. The burgers here are delicious. The sauce they put on it is their own spin of a Mac sauce. The krinkle cut fries are nice and crispy, and I was honestly blown away by the guacamole. I just wish it was available in a larger size . I added jalapeños to it with a touch of salt and pepper. It was delicious. The take out was quick, parking is limited.

12 taco deal was a little disappointing and rather skimpy! I guess I'm used to the way they used to be. Remember when the tacos were full and had a sliced tomato on top? This is what I remember from days back, but apparently their not like that anymore.

Simply awful fish tacos. They used to be pretty good, now they’re garbage. Sloppy wet liquid dripping out, fish fillet you can hardly taste, except for tasting awful. Their chicken soft taco is half decent. Taco Bell has better crunchy tacos. The place is clean, but the food is totally forgettable bordering on awful. This chain was much better years ago.

I used to love this place but I recent weeks it has gone down hill fast. The last four times I went there I got majorly sick. I kept hoping it was a one time thing. Think I learned my lesson now. They do have the best mini $1 strawberry shakes but it just seems where once they were serving quality delicious food and to now where they just do not care. Sucks.

Supervisors and cashiers are friendly and efficient, But, the food prepares are a joke. Patronizing this restaurant is hit and miss. Most of the time the food preparers do not do their job correctly. I'd rather go to any of the ".......bertos".

I ordered a couple of items off the drive-thru menu And I memorized the price. When I arrived at the window I know I was being overcharged and I tried to educate them on that but they refused to take my word for it. So I paid for the overpriced items. Park my car took a picture of the drive-thru menu with the pricing that was correct. Walk inside talk to the manager to tell him I was overcharged at first he did not agree until I showed proof of the price on their menu. He offered to refund me the money which I told him that's not the point of this. I walked out with nothing other than proving them wrong.

My sister came to get tacos, and they laughed at her for ordering tacos. When she got back home, I opened the wrapped taco and it had no lettuce and no cheese only meat and it was very little. Every other taco did not have enough lettuce, cheese and meat in it. There was more tortilla shell than all of the lettuce, cheese and meat combined. Do not recommend this del taco place.

Nice of them to tell us that they're open until 11 PM. Got there at 1030 and already closed. Sign on the window says open until 11, everything online say the same. Burger King sucked. But at least they were open.

It was good until the last couple days the taco shells are not crisp anymore they're all stale they're!! I wish these people were better educated and trained I don't think they know what they're doing and it shows! I'm going to have to recommend ordering something soft because their taco shells are stale and old..
