My fiancée and I don’t go out to eat very often, but when we do, we usually choose places like Outback. Let me start by saying that my opinion of this particular visit does not necessarily reflect the overall atmosphere or the service you may experience — this is just based on my visit. When we were seated, drinks and an appetizer were ordered right away. However, I noticed we didn’t have any silverware or napkins at our table. That’s a basic detail that should be taken care of when guests are seated — I shouldn’t have to ask for it. The floor around our table was dirty, chairs weren’t pushed in properly, and the tables nearby hadn’t been cleaned. Management seemed to expect servers to clean the tables while three hostesses sat chatting at the front door — one even eating off a plate. This takes away from the guest experience and overall service quality. As for the food: the fries were overly salted, and the rice was hard and cold. The ribs were decent, and the shrimp was good. Overall, management needs to improve the cleanliness and organization of the dining area. Outback used to be a special place for my family on special occasions, and I’d like to see it return to that standard. I’ll give it another try in the future.

I ordered the trio appetizers. Everything but the mozzarella sticks was cold and way too salty! Definitely won’t be going back there. The service was good. Our waiter was nice, but it tasted like they got my food from outback in the dumpster.!

This used to be a solid steakhouse, however over time the quality has declined. While their service is still good, their steak is bland, and the last time I had their bloomin onion, it was undercooked, the batter hadn’t even finished! For the price it is now, I recommend you skip this and go to one of numerous other places in Evansville.

I was very disappointed with the food and service. The appetizers were burned and it was like pulling teeth ordering. It took over 20 minutes to be able to order, and they were not busy. Our entrées were seared to the point of the whole side being black! The manager was not interested in fixing anything or hearing that anything was wrong. This was a horrible dining experience.

Margarita was good but small and mostly ice cubes. The Ribs were tough and the sweet potato was cold. Cheese fries were good but overall the meal was not good at all, especially when you figure with tip we paid over $90 for this meal. They have ruined the menu at outback, years ago they changed it and not for the better but they doubled down on that and I can't recommend eating there.

I have to unfortunately give this place 2 stars... although there was only maybe 3 other patrons in the place...it took a long time to get our food..it was broken glass on the floor that stayed on the floor from the beginning of our meal and was still there when we left..thank God nobody slipped and fell on that wet spot

I drove from Spencer county back into Evansville to sit down and have a nice steak dinner , no that want me to seat in w booth or at the bar,so told tham I would wait for a table to open I'm 69 year old booth seat to low,and bar stools are hard climb to seat in,your feet don't touch the ground , and if I'm going to spend my heart earn money I want to be sitting comfortably to eat my food. The server said we can't seat at reg table. I told him that I would take my order to go and I will not return with my family and friends,I have been coming here since the restaurant open.
