This was my first time at Evelyn's Big Italian and I have passed it many times going on Texas Street. I happen to be working the Farmers Market across the street and was just going in to use the restroom. When I walked in, the food smelled good and I decided to get a slice of pizza. I thought it was takeout only, but around the side there are 2 areas for dining in. The booths in the entry were full of pizza boxes, so I'm guessing they sell a lot of pizza. Customer service was great and it took about 15 minutes to get a slice of Vegetarian pizza with extra mushrooms and olives. It was so big that I sliced it up and split it. It was delicious and I will definitely go back to try other items.

This is the place if you’re looking for pizza in Solano County. It’s good in house or take out, I’ve never have had delivery, but its worth the drive even if your outside solano county and fairfield. We have had the pizza, pepperoni is our favorite, but all their specialty’s are fantastic too. We have also had the family meal. Their basic gravy is very good, but they do offer spices on the table to make it how you like it. The family meal comes with salad, bread, spaghetti, and pizza. It’s enough food to feed a big family, or 3 days of leftovers like our family. The service is fantastic and consistent. A great family run restaurant!

I came here to get some food after business around the area. I didn't think much of it at first, just needing a place to eat. Oh but how wrong I was. This place has some really good food. A homey atmosphere and fast service. The pizza I got was so good I came back later to take some home, because that crust and bread on that pizza left an impact on me. If you're looking for a pizza like the size of a Costco slice, try this place, just know that the sauce isn't the general like... One that the New York or Jersey pizza is, I feel like it's closer to Italian style, and for me, that was something I was looking for.

The meat ravioli is great its a calm mellow taste The ravioli is infinite they give you more if you ask cause it's a infinity item meaning you can get more if you ask. the pizza is better than any place I've been to once you taste the pizza you can never buy anywhere else The family spaghetti is huge it's great flavor texture nothing like oregon food or just normal restaurant food this is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to

I was in the mood for pizza after our first option was a bust (closed for the evening). We were near Fairfield, CA, so my daughter recommended Evelyn' Pizza. We all order the slice because the whole pizza take about 30 minutes to make. The slice still take about 10 to 15 minutes. We also Ordered an order of calamari. We finished the calamari before we got home in the car so no pic. It was delicious though 😋. The pizza 🍕 was the largest per slice I have ever since. It must came out from the 32 inches pizza you can ordered. The pizza was great and tasty 😋. It was very good experience. Here are some pictures 📸. The place is very tight but you can dine in if you want.

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner; service was spectacular and our meal was beyond delicious! The cozy nature of the dining room made it a perfect evening out with my spouse. Definitely bring your appetite to this restaurant. Thank you Evelyn's for a superb dinning experience!

This restaurant was way different than I expected. The inside of the restaurant is small but in a very unique way. I felt like I was in a big city when I first walked in. It's completely decorated in souvenirs, sports cars signed baseball's etc. The prices are also very decent for the amount of food you get and the slices of pizza are huge. Highly recommend it here. Will be coming here again.

We happened upon Evelyn's by accident as we were out a little later than usual and still needed to get dinner. We were pleased to find that they were open until 10pm and reviewed well. The wait staff was friendly and patient while we spent a little extra time reviewing their rather large menu. There were a lot of great options and the woman at the counter was able to make some recommendations. We sat in the front patio area. While we waited, we enjoyed the complimentary fresh bread and amazingly delicious vinegar/herbs emulsion. If you love balsamic vinegar, this is truly scrumptious concoction! When our main dishes arrived, we very pleased with the ample portions and great value for the amount of money we spent. Plus, our kiddo actually ate some of every dish we ordered:)

Splendor Promised

This place has gone down severely since the death of Evelyn in 2019. In 2021 & 22, I ate in several times and enjoyed a quick quaint local place to get a nice bite with good table service. But the young men that work cooking food don't seem to take their jobs too seriously nor care about the quality or presentation of the food or how well it's cooked by health department standards. The Veggie pizza slice had like warm large slices of vegetables piled high with no cheese at all. The crust was tough and tasted day old and the sauce was slopped onto the single slice. I didn't like the way the pizza slice was handed to me across the counter, nor how unpersonable and disinterested the young Hispanic person that made it seemed towards a customer. I didn't feel good about asking for it to be reheated/re-cheesed so I sat outside at a table and ate what I could. I took the rest home and oven reheated, seasoned and re-cheesed the sloppily garbage tasting replica. The environment is clammy, dark and filled with pizza boxes in the front booths at the entrance, as to push customers to the rear of the restaurant to eat in one of the two eating sections. The place has gone down but I still see people placing large to go pizza orders of two or more pies. Beware of this place at times. I hate to have to write this but I have to live with myself, maybe your experience might be different. Good luck there.

Never get the lasagna special. It's like lasagna soup and not good tasting Stoffers frozen lasagna way way better. No paper towels in the bathroom. Asked for another portion., please don't make it like soup. Came like soup again. Terrible . Zero strars. Never. Never again
