I've been going to this restaurant for a long time. Their food is fantastic and so fresh. The customer service and the employees are awesome especially George. George always has a smile on his face and is awesome:)) I highly recommend Pollo on Josey Lane in Farmers Branch!!!!

The service I received here was great! I was in and out, the manager working had a great can do attitude I could tell he really enjoyed working there. I didn’t get his name but he was Hispanic, had a beard and looked very young. Overall I will continue to come back to this location.

Visited the farmers branch location a week ago. The reason i picked this location is because a coworker ordered from there last year and the food and sides went to die for. Well, my oder wasn't. I phoned the location and told them i was totally disappointed. Today they cooked my order Fresh! The manager stepped up to the plate. Above and beyond! Awesome!

We are from Guatemala. The taste is very close to the locations there. Very courteous staff. Clean, and I liked that they had decorative plates, bowls, and rolled up silverware too. We live in the Mckinney area, and we're in town on some businesses. We will drive all the way here next time we need a 'taste of home'

We made an online order about 30 minutes prior to closing. We got there maybe 20 to 15 minutes before closing. The young Hispanic gentleman that came to the drive through window was EXTREMELY nice. He explained that he could not complete our order. We asked if we could use our coupon for 3 piece chicken and add a few breast pieces ( NOT for free) Unfortunately being so close to closing he was limited on what they had. We decided to hurry and drive to the other location that was in our area (Richardson location) to get our order in since they close 1 hour later. ( Total different customer service experience at that location- NOT good) But before we left, this young man gave us a drink and whatever chicken he did have left for free. Now he could have taken these pieces home for himself, but he didn't. He did not want us to leave empty handed. He apologized several times, and hoped that we would come back on another day. My regret is not getting his name. Today this type of customer service, is rare . Thank you young man. You made our night. 🥰

Underrated af. Was in the area and decided to get a chicken sandwich. Campero’s spicy Sandwich slaps. The fried plantains were the perfect addition to the meal. Highly recommend and gonna definitely drive down to get this again. It’s better than Popeyes sandwich. 9/10 Service was good. Nice and very respectful staff. This place is fast food done right.

Not sure what 1,000 year old magician the have on staff, but the food is consistently great... and I am not a food person. I could eat the same old food day after day, but I’ll go out of my way to eat here. The tacos are generous of meat. The quality and care is apparent. This is not a fast food quality place, it’s a lot more than you will expect compared to the tired restaurants you run into on a regular basis. I wish other restaurants had the same standards.

This restaurant has really good and tasty chicken meals but I have to highly recommend their Polo Bowl. I had it today for the first time and it was really good. Definitely going to be getting this regularly from now on.

Absolutely one of the best places to get fried chicken. My only push back is I wish I could eat it every day. Always fresh and service is fast. When eating in, I like the plates they place your food on. The atmosphere is very comfortable.

It is a good place to enjoy with the family. It was my first time visiting the restaurant and the truth is that I was delighted with the flavor of the food. The staff was very friendly at all times.

Food is great. But there is one thing that is missing. The typical Guatemalan Hot Sauce, Picamas. Pollo Campero's original recipe comes from Guatemala and why not have its signature hot sauce? IMHO.

Hands down the best , most flavorful fried chicken in Texas and i’ve tried most. Its so delicious and fresh. Chicken looks so clean and never has a bad taste or smell. I absolutely love this place and so happy i found it!

Super friendly staff, but I would recommend order ahead on the app if possible.. Great food for a good price.. I do miss the Mac and cheese, I really hope they bring it back one day

Store manager George is super nice & professional. I was a little disappointed w/the freshness of the chicken. Maybe b/c it was towards the end of the day, but, it didn't taste as fresh as the one off of Hwy30 & Cockrell Hill. The mango drink was sweeter too (didn't care for it.) Again cleanliness, friendliness, management = 5 ⭐'s, but, ultimately I come for the freshness & taste off the food.

I recently tried the chicken sandwich at Pollo Campero Restaurant, and my experience was quite average. While the flavor was okay, it didn’t stand out or impress me. The chicken itself was cooked well, but it lacked that extra something that makes a dish memorable. The accompanying ingredients were also ordinary, not adding much excitement to the overall taste. Considering the reputation of the restaurant, I expected a more flavorful and satisfying sandwich. It’s not bad, but it’s not something I would go out of my way to order again.

Delicious food and Mango and Jamaica drinks are enough to fill you up before the food arrives 😋

Order: 3 Piece Meal (8): Thighs only; 2-Fried and 1-Compero The Compero Thigh was juicy and the skin was tasty. The Fried Thighs skins were thin, and crispy and the meat was hot (temperature) which was freshly fried... Very juicy. The pieces were on the smaller side... The meal came with a choice of side. I chose Coleslaw (8) which tasted sweet, which is not great for me but I likey:) Service was quick and efficient. On a funny note: I told the cashier my name was "Henry" - See receipt. Definitely will go back! UPDATE: I went back again and it was even better... However, this time I chose Yuca Fries (7.5)... Not bad. Surprised, "Big" Henry

The Food is really good but what gets me mad is that they're so damn cheap, they bearly put any sauce in the sandwich and even when I ask for extra sauce not caring if its an extra charge... they still bearly put any on it. Sandwich and chicken are pretty small so if you want to get full order a lot.

Grilled chicken was just OK. It was almost crusted with rub/seasoning, but it was one note and a bit dull. Rice was fresh tasting but under seasoned. Overall it was pretty disappointing.

Food quality has gone down at the location in Farmers Branch. Used to love the Camperitos but last couple of times Ive gotten them they werent very good. The taste was not like before and the batter is different.

Had the grilled 3 piece meal, with a roll, plus a street corn salad. Tasty chicken, small peace’s, tiny salad, and forgot my roll. Paid $10.05 $$ pricy and I’m still hungry. Not likely to make a second trip.

We ordered through the drive thru. It was very hard to hear what the employee was saying and she must have had problems hearing us because she miss some of our order. Chicken was just okay, nothing special.

The food is great, unfortunately that’s not the only thing I look for. The service was the worst of any pollo campero by far. She never greeted us and when she finally helped us all she said was what do we want to order. There was a promotion on the screen and she said it was no longer valid. Wouldn’t come back to this place.

I had to repeat my order for him for my son's dinner. He just didn't seem focused on customer service. If my next visit is like this one, we won't be coming back.

Just went through the drive through, so not sure about atmosphere. I ordered the queso bacon chicken sandwich with fries, I ended up getting a Buffalo chicken sandwich with rice. I was hungry, so I just ate it without complaining, and it ended up being a good meal. The chicken sandwich was juicy and crispy and the rice was flavorful with seasonings of lime and cilantro and fire roasted corn blended in.

This place is amazing. I recommend it to everyone, seriously you have to try it. The fried chicken, the fries, the rolls and the plantains are all delicious. However, whenever I go they're always out of something: chicken breasts, ketchup, flans... there's always something out. It's kinda surprising because I believe their headquarters are in Dallas.

Waited almost fifteen minutes for a sandwich when I was told 7 at the DT. Almost got bumped into by a manager(?) and some other person going in and out the kitchen (with no consideration or pardon) when I finally came inside to check on my order after 10 mins. The dining area was clean. The chicken sandwich came plain with pickles. Expect no sauce except the packets they'll throw in the paper bag. It was a good sandwich, thankfully.

This place say they have grilled chicken while every week when I visit they always have a good reason of not having grilled chicken. Don’t market yourselves anymore if your menu has changed. I have been a customer for a while this is very disappointing…. Not all customers like fried chicken

Came an hour before closing and they said they only had 8 pieces of chicken left and they wouldn’t make a grilled chicken bowl. Had Pollo Campero for the first time at this location. Bad service and disappointing food. Took almost 20 minutes to get my order after they got it wrong in the drive through. They missed 2 items: nuggets and an order of fries. The fries they did include were SO cold and not fresh. I asked them to correct my order and make everything fresh (since they said the nuggets would take 10 minutes to cook. Is this why they they weren’t in the bag in the first place?) Got home and the “new” fries were so cold and nasty STILL, even after that long wait. The fried chicken, fresh nuggets, and chicken sandwich were good. But the cold/old fries and the grilled chicken was not good at all. Not worth the $40. Not worth the wait or the hassle. I’ll never go back.

I have visited locations here in the DFW area for years and have had no issues, within the last 2 to 3 weeks, I visited 2 different locations and the experience has been awful! The first location I've visited, I was short pieces of chicken. The second location I visited, I ordered the 4 piece mixed was given dark meat. Unfortunately, there is no local number to contact the restaurant, you have to go through customer service and they will issue a coupon that can only be used on the app or through customer service when the purchase was made in store!!!!

First time coming here and it will be my last. Ordered our food thru drive thru and the order taker did his job good but we had to wait ten minutes then get all the way home and they forget a corn tortilla, cole slaw and fries like really??? Horrible service. They NEVER have fried chicken, and ask you to wait 20+mins for it and to top it off they laugh as they tell you they don't have any ready. Always a waiting game when I go there. They need better service and to have Pollo ready. I mean they have the word chicken in their name.

Very disappointed with their menu during my recent visit. I don't understand how a company can lose their sense of identity. I remember when people who had traveled to Guatemala would bring boxes of "Pollo Campero" in their flights and now, that menu is all but gone. To make matters worse, I had to take two identical pieces of chicken, "because they had ran out of breast pieces", and "a wing, couldn't be part of a two piece order"? So, you run out of breast pieces and you're not willing to substitute it for a piece that would be agreeable to your customer? Where did customer satisfaction go?

Got the the bottom of my soda and decided I would eat the ice. Took the top off and was surprised to find 2 dead insects floating in my ice. Notice that's plural: not one, but two insects. I am just disgusted. Will not be returning. Obviously this establishment is not sanitary. To top it off, I am trying to post pictures of the bugs, and mysteriously it keeps deleting them. It will only let me post photos of the cup.

The WORST SERVICE EVER! I like the food and now I can’t go without getting mad. I keep giving them chances to give me my food right and they never do. If you are seriously going to act reluctant in preparing a large order, then I am confused why certain individuals would choose to work at a fast food chain in the first place. I ordered a 20 piece chicken pack with a side of mashed potatoes and bread rolls through the drive-thru when I see the guy taking my order get mad. Pretty much, he shoved my order through the window carelessly and didn't give me what I asked for. Terrible service if you are trying to make a large order despite the place being less busy than usual. I'm hopeful that you'll get better service if you order inside the restaurant.

I've been several times to the drive thru and things have been missing from the order. The little bit older ladies taking orders hardly speak English, so they never seem to understand what we want or maybe it's on purpose. Hey, don't want the business, fine, there are plenty of other places. They don't seem very friendly towards white people is my take away.

My experience at Pollo Campero on New Year's was disappointing due to the rude behavior of one of the employees. Despite the holiday atmosphere, the employee's demeanor was unwelcoming and unprofessional, which significantly detracted from the overall dining experience. Customer service plays a crucial role in shaping perceptions of a restaurant, and unfortunately, this interaction left much to be desired.

I ordered a 4 piece mixed with 2 sides, an xtra dinner roll and a drink via door dash and these idiots were out of chicken but instead of cancelling the order they just cancelled the chicken and sent one single dinner roll and a small drink. Yup $11 dollars down the drain because no one was smart enough to just cancel the order. These people are so money hungry that they just sent over 1 single dinner roll and a small drink. You guys were wrong for that. Really tacky on the part of the restaurant. Why wouldn’t you just cancel the order?

If you place an order, it's never on time. What you're thinking about is probably ignoring customers. Then, if you try to pick up on time, you will check it then and receive the order the day before yesterday. Why did we create an online reservation system? Don't even place phone orders. Never coming to this place AGAIN! If you’re going to this location, make sure you check your order before you leave, they LOVE skimping!

Arrived to pickup a DoorDash Delivery. Waited in line behind a family for about 4 mins. Once I made it the front of the line, I was not acknowledged or greeted by the staff, even though they just had an extensive conversation with the Latin, Spanish speaking family before them, even offering churros to the little one. A man entered precisely five minutes after I arrived, and they not only acknowledged him, they waved him to their and asked what he needed (all in Spanish). Ironically, he said Doordashe and immediately and was taken care of immediately. Once again, I am still waiting to be acknowledged and to request my DoorDash - literally standing at the counter. Not only did the lady go around and ignore me. She kindly provided the DoorDash to the other individual. I looked up and asked said “Dang, Can I please have a DoorDash order as well?” The lady literally walked away. A young man came and helped me, but overall this was like the worst experience. I’m not sure if it’s because she assumed I was an English speaker or because of my Black skin or what but so disrespectful, so rude and I would definitely not recommend this place. While I don’t truly know her issue… based on my experience, I would have to assume that there was a prejudice, bias, or some sort of disdain towards English speakers or generally Black folk.

I ordered a 20-piece fried chicken for the first time, but it was way too salty and the chicken was really dry. it tasted awful. Even after I removed the batter and tried to eat just the meat, it was still extremely salty. Me and my son finished only 4 pcs, and ended up throwing it away.

This was on of the worst experience of food I've ever had, we had ordered beans and rice with our order and we only received rice and when we called to explain the situation the lady who answered the phone was being very rude and condescending, saying she packed it herself and she never makes mistakes and we just had to deal with it, that there was nothing she could do and all we wanted is for our beans to be in our order, this is the last time we get chicken from here, lost a customer today
