Fist time here, location is very clean. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out fast, fries are hot and fresh. They have a lot of options to choose from.

Update: Looks like majority rule on the fries. They are now just generic crinkle cut fries, more like Shake Shack’s, likely from a restaurant supplier or Sysco. The made-in-house fries are gone, which is a disappointment. On this visit, my chicken breast for the BLTA was dry and unfortunately chewy, and the amount of smashed avocado has been reduced. The sandwich did still have a good amount of fresh lettuce. On the positive side, the restaurant has now completed the rebrand from PDQ, with the Chick & Tender branding in place, and they’ve added some nice seasonal touches for the fall, which makes the ambience more inviting. Tried the BLTA at Chick & Tender in Farmingdale and loved it! Tender grilled chicken, crispy bacon, fresh veggies, and creamy smashed avocado made for a flavorful, satisfying sandwich. The fries were a standout, natural-style crinkle cut like a slimmer Nathan’s, hearty and perfectly seasoned. The large meal came with a very generous portion. Ordering was quick and efficient, though the food took about five minutes to come out, a little longer than I expected for a fast-casual spot. Inside is clean and in the middle of a rebrand from PDQ, with some signage still in progress. Outdoor seating with picnic tables and umbrellas is a nice touch on a good day. Fresh, tasty, and worth stopping in!

I’ve been to this location a handful of times and each time the food has been great except for this last visit when I found a strand of hair fried into a chicken tender. I sent an email to the email address listed on the website to make them aware of this issue but never heard back.

While some people are being a little dramatic about the differences, it's true that the change to Chick n Tender was not a positive one. Food is fine, but I'm still not sure why change something that seemed to be working. Service time and no more waffle fries are the biggest issues in my book. PDQ used to be lightning fast and still had great quality food. Now you gotta wait. I'm pretty sure they are making the food to order, which is great, but go back to the way PDQ did it. They had the formula down perfectly.

He looked up at me briefly, then turned toward the workers in the back and asked one of them to help me instead of taking my order himself. After that, he went right back to using his phone. The employee who didn’t assist me was wearing a blue zip-up, which made me assume he might have been a manager, so that part of the experience was a little disappointing. Thankfully, another employee came out from the back and helped me right away, which made things much better. Aside from that small mishap, my overall experience was great. The food was amazing, fresh, and well worth the wait, and I would definitely consider coming back despite that minor issue with customer service

Food is great wish they got my order right. I ordered a 5 piece with fries and got a three. Was even charged for it.

Extremely upsetting. Been visiting PDQ for years and was expecting something similar. What I got was subpar, overpriced food that clearly didn’t come from anyplace PDQ gets their ingredients. I will not be returning.

I got 10 grilled tenders for $20. They were half sized, so it was more like 5 regular tenders. ZERO seasoning. Just chicken. Plain. Grilled. For $20. I don’t get it.

PLEASE go back to PDQ. AWFUL!!!!! Imagine the shock to pull up to order and it be a knock off PDQ. Please please please go back! Soggy fries which were so awful. Drinks in SMALL unbranded cups. I DO NOT recommend coming here, being that the franchisees decided to cut ties with PDQ and try their own brand it was literally the worst decision they ever made, it’s literally DEAD when you go there, the sauces have this bitter off taste and nothing is from PDQ if you go here, prices are crazy expensive and the service isn’t great. Literally the tenders came this raw, I had to break it and you can clearly see it’s not worth the time and money. I definitely recommend chick fil an until there’s a better competition. I rate it 1 out of 10 for this store.

Fries were disgusting, old, probably re-fried. The tenders were rubbery, and the soda taste like poison. Staff needs to care a little more on what they are serving to people.

I DO NOT recommend coming here, being that the franchisees decided to cut ties with PDQ and try their own brand it was literally the worst decision they ever made, it’s literally DEAD when you go there, the sauces have this bitter off taste and nothing is from PDQ if you go here, prices are crazy expensive and the service isn’t great. Literally the tenders came this raw, I had to break it and you can clearly see it’s not worth the time and money. I definitely recommend chick fil an until there’s a better competition. I rate it 1 out of 10 for this store.

Fries were cold and stale. Chicken tenders were okay, but definitely not worth $20. This place is not good, food is lackluster. And the new chicken sauce is just not like the pdq sauce.

We visited this store and went through drive thru. There was 1 car in front of us. We ordered $60 worth of food(food for 4 people). We were in line for 22 minutes. There was some sort of problem and nobody came out or said a word to us. When we got to the window to pay, my husband had to wave to the 3 people surrounded around the register who were just ignoring us. They opened the window and we asked if there was a problem and they said something happened , but that we could pay…. Terrible!!!! And our food was cold by the time we got it!!! Terrible, terrible management and customer service!!! Never ever going back!

We get home and there is no fries, just two boxes of mediocre chicken tenders. And we waited for 20ish minutes just for chicken tenders no fries. Also we asked for bbq sauce and didn't even get any bbq sauce Don't recommend!!

The fries were fine, I guess, but the chicken sandwich was awful. Not crispy, paper-thin, dry, and completely flavorless. The bread was ridiculously thick, there was no sauce, and it just felt unfinished. The cups were weird too. My large had branding, but the medium didn’t. Not a huge deal, but still strange. And the mac and cheese… absolutely criminal. It’s called Mom Mac and Cheese, but if Mom made this, she was drunk because it straight-up tasted like beer. We couldn’t even finish it. Between the wait and the food, everything was just bad. Save yourself the disappointment and do not come here.

Came recently and I waited for ever for the food so I went inside to order and saw a bunch of people horsing around and other people bossing them around telling them do this do that and making them get on ladders while people are there. Not only that it seemed very unprofessional there. I finally got my food after waiting for ever and my sauce was not even there and the bathrooms smelled bad.

We went to the new Chick and tenders .We used the drive through it took a bit longer than we expected. When we got home the order was incorrect, we ordered a classic chicken sandwich, a chicken deluxe meal and a 5 pc meal when we got home no deluxe meal instead 2 5pc meals surprise!! Although the chicken tenders were good I wanted a sandwich sorry not today 😂
