Just tried it and I’m a big fan. We were seated immediately - Sunday morning 9am. It was not very busy for the weekend until we started to leave - church crowd. My kids got the kids pancake with eggs and bacon. It was an adult sized pancake. I got the “For Dad” which also came with pancakes and I could only finish half of one. Loved the pancakes and I assumed they automatically put powdered sugar on it seeing other reviews - I opted no powdered sugar. Pancakes were great, bacon was delicious. Service was the best, our waitress was present and patient when our kids tried to order for themselves. Coffee list looked great - need to try it next time. Will be back.

A friend and I met halfway between us both and it was a great location! She traveled from the Dallas area and I from East Texas. The food was exceptional, the service was fast and friendly, the fresh orange juice was absolutely amazing! Parking was also convenient.

My husband and I were driving around and found this place. I can’t believe we have never been here. Absolutely delicious, and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back :)

We were greated, seated and served with a smile and prompt service with ample food and served hot and quickly. My wife and I will be back. Dropped in for quick bite. Seated right away. Had scrumptious avocado burger. 5 stars!

First time trying the cafe on a Friday around 1030am, was greeted as soon as we walked in & got seated right away. There's ample space between tables so you're not listening to others' conversations or in each other's space. Servers are very polite, friendly and you don't feel rushed to order. I tried the bacon avocado omelet and my husband got the meat & cheese omelet and he added mushrooms & spinach. Each dish came with 2 sides, I chose fruit & hashrowns, he chose hashbrowns & pancakes with added blueberries. They were able to accommodate the customizations (with an upcharge), no issues. Food was served within 20 mins of ordering, fresh from the skillet. The cheese in my omelet was still melting. Everything we ordered was delicious & was just the right portion for brunch. Get the orange juice!!! It's made fresh, you can seem the machine pressing/squeezing the oranges close to the host stand. Definitely coming back!

This place is a big hit. Really enjoyed the food, service and hospitality. The food portions are filling and fresh. They have regular coffee to enjoy or fresh made to order brews.

Fate is blessed to enjoy an affordable provider of breakfast and lunch in a pleasant diner environment with a friendly and attentive staff. My breakfast for lunch experience was quite satisfying. My satisfaction stemmed from a clean and well-staffed restaurant with a menu serving tasty traditional breakfasts and lunch items. I will return soon to try the lunch and Mimosas. I am really impressed with this restaurant. The service, the food is exceptional.They take pride in their service and their food. They are very attentive if you need something that will bring it to you. You can ask any kind any kind of questions. You can add anything to your food.The quality of the food food is great.It's a little bit pricey, but it's good quality food.

The atmosphere is a very clean and Modern with a variety of coffees available and many breakfast combos. They had pecan waffles, different kinds of pancakes, French toast, and your usual country breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage and other sides. The staff was very attentive and very quick. There is plenty of parking as this is in a larger parking lot with larger stores. I went at 7:30 in the morning on a Sunday and there was plenty of seating. I had the country breakfast which includes a biscuit and gravy, two eggs, hash browns and sausage or bacon. The biscuits were nice and tall and fluffy and the gravy was cream with sausage. Overall a nice clean place to go for breakfast with plenty of servers to help you out and plenty of options on their menu to please many different kinds of people.

This is my family’s favorite brunch /breakfast diner. Overall very friendly and attentive staff. Smells and feels clean . Usually very crowded so make sure to get on the waitlist prior on the weekends . Please don’t sleep on the jalapeño brisket bowl and salsa ! Orange juice is Freshly squeezed. You won’t regret it ! Fast service !

For a small cafe this place packs a punch, can be a little crowded during peak ours and you might have to wait for a table but that wait is worth it. Staff is friendly and attentive and the food feels like a home cooked meal. Can't wait for the next time I go!

My experience at Starwood Cafe was outstanding. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy, 8:00 AM on a Friday morning, and we were seated in a private booth. The hostess was very pleasant and welcoming, which immediately set a positive tone. After being seated, our server Lauren came to the table in less than a minute to take our drink order. We ordered coffee, which turned out to be fantastic — rich, fresh, and genuinely enjoyable. Lauren never allowed our cups to become empty. Very attentive. We placed our food order shortly after reviewing the menu, and the wait time was impressively short. The food arrived extremely hot, and fresh. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted excellent. Overall, I would give an excellent rating for service, cleanliness, freshness, and taste. Everything about the visit reflected quality and attention to detail. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our family loves going to Starwood Cafe in Fate, TX. It’s one of those places that feels welcoming the moment you walk in, and it’s perfect for families with all the variety they offer on the menu. No matter what everyone is in the mood for, there are plenty of options to choose from, which makes it an easy pick when dining out together. Stop gouging your customers on salsa and standard vegetables. Service was great and quick!

Today was my fourth time going, my experience has never matched my first visit with the BEST SERVER Sammy, I love the way she was one of the only ones to style my Dulce de leche hazelnut latte…she was so sweet and had small conversations throughout my visit. But today service was sweet just busy which I totally understand….the latte head/foam/top was plain it wasn’t decorated like my other visits by other servers nor did she try any small talk while waiting on food. But as usual the food was superb and keep it up Sammy and Starwood! Yall are awesome (The pics are from the 3 previous visits, I didn’t take a pic of todays latte)

Nice, welcoming atmosphere and trendy decor. Friendly hostess and wait staff team. Our food and drink orders were promptly served and cooked to order. Great portion sizes from kids meal to the breakfast sampler. Four star rating for ambiance, service + fair prices and convenient location.

It’s been open less than a week now. It’s a very nice atmosphere. I had a good experience. I arrived a little after 8 on a Monday and was seated promptly, as it was not crowded yet. Tried to stop in yesterday, but it was over an hour wait. They need to adapt the Yelp Join waitlist feature, rather than asking their guests to come and get on the list in person, then waiting for an hour+. Just a suggestion, Starwood. They serve Segafredo Zanetti coffee, which is so great! I had that and iced water. I ordered an omelet, the Bacon Avocado Omelet. It comes with two sides, so I ordered hash browns and oat meal (an even swap from grits)! The food was excellent, cooked perfectly. The oatmeal was perfect and hearty. I added one package of butter and a little bit of brown sugar with it. While enjoying the meal, I noticed others enjoying mimosas and fresh orange juice that looked delicious. Lots of good here. Food was very good, so new and clean, spacious, being able to pay by scanning the QR code, and the restrooms were spotless clean and smelled great (actually). Some suggestions for Starwood… Make sure the silverware is clean. Food was dried/stuck to my spoon. The Heinz Ketchup in the glass bottle is great and nostalgic and all, but they now have the squeezable bottles that are much easier to work with for the guests. The longhorn skull is decorative and all, but it started to get in my head a little, as it was right in front of me for the whole visit. I’m not normally weirded out by something like this, but this did. Overall, it’s nice to have a place like this in Fate. I look forward to more visits and trying more of the options! 👍🏼

There are a variety of breakfast combos to choose from ranging from waffles to pancakes & French toast to healthier menu options. The staff was very quick. My food was served 5 mins. After my order was placed. Ordered the chicken & waffles & pineapple mimosas. The food was good, the chicken could've used a tad bit more seasoning for my taste buds. It was pretty busy when I arrived & parking was limited as parking on side of the building appears to still be under construction.

We ordered the Blt and the starwood eggs Benedict, and it was delicious. Kim was so nice and informative made our visit pleasing.. the black-eyed pea soup was probably the best i have ever tasted.. yes it was that good..so if you're in the area, stop here.. our granddaughter lives here in fate..we will be back

Great little breakfast place. Was very loud, but I expected that. I got chicken and waffle and it was tasty, but my husband's chicken fried steak was better! Gravy was good, but not sausage. The hashbrowns were very buttery but needed salt. Overall, happy with the food and I'll go back

I came here last Wednesday at about 11. I meet my friend there . I ordered a sandwich with tomato soup. The sandwich and tomato soup was so good. There isn’t one thing I haven’t liked here . I have come here 10 times since they opened . I’m not sure I will be back. We were there for maybe 30 mins . The server kept on comeing back to our table asking if we needed anything . This was every 3 mins. We would tell her no thank you. She would stand there for a few seconds and just stare . I have one arm right now as I have tore my Rotator Cuff . It takes me longer to eat and I don’t appreciate being felt like I was being rushed. This Restaurant was not that busy. I’m also right handed which is on the side I hurt so trying to do stuff with my left side is very difficult. I was going to order dessert, but felt like so rushed it was very nerve-racking . The waitress acted like we’ve been there all day when it was 30 mins . I saw six booths open when I left . I would also get the monte cristo sandwich back.

Visiting from Chicago and the food was good. It was not real hot but I let it pass. Service was good. My niece found a bug on her eggs. They recooked her food and did not comp the meal. Not a good thing. Overall, I would return.

Long story short my food was not good, pancakes were old like they made them earlier that day and had them under a warmer. The egg whites were off and the $4 side of fruit was the amount of a kids fruit cup like the parents put in the lunch boxes. My one sisters food per her was also not that great. My other sister opted for the lunch menu and she said hers was good. So I guess 1 out of 3 was a success. Waitress was dry probably tired and it showed. Overall it's something to eat but not my first or second choice. Also a little heads up if you pay with a card be sure to scroll past the 1st set of tip options that start at 20%-30% and get to custom at the bottom. We got hit thinking we had to pick one of those n ended up tipping more than we should for a 2.5 star meal.

The juice was excellent but the pancakes and French toast was just okay. Could have used some vanilla extract and a little more powder sugar for the French toast. Waitress was excellent very attentive.

Took 10 minutes just to get a drink order in and another 15 to get the check. Definitely will not return.

I placed an order online for a chicken salad sandwich with ‘crispy’ fries. They were under cooked; no crisp at all. Then I asked if I could get some ranch dressing (I forgot to put it on my order). The Hostess came back with the smallest container of ranch and said it would be $1.25. I would have paid .25 or .50 cents for the size offered. Come on. I took it out of my bag, placed it on the counter, and told her to have a great. I get the charge, but not worth it at all. I’ll never go back and I’ll deter my friends and family. 🤬

I tried this place for the first time, and my server was really nice and good at her job. However, the food was pretty bland. The hash browns were undercooked and lacked seasoning; the chicken was especially disappointing and flavorless. It seemed unmarinated, just floured, salted and fried, but not crispy. The waffles were also a letdown. Maybe this place is good, but whoever worked on my food did a horrible job

I got the southwest salad with grilled chicken and no cheese. Chicken had no flavor or seasoning. The most flavorful item was the cream dressing.

Not really one to ever leave a review…. But the absolute worst food I have ever tasted. It has absolutely zero flavor, we had ordered the avocado toast and the sausage omelette. Toast was hard and eggs were supposed to be over medium but were hard and rubbery and zero seasoning on anything tasted like rubber and cardboard. The omelette was plain as well drenched it in the salsa they provided which didn’t help. The fruit was fresh at least that was the only good thing for the $31 we spent on 2 items.
