Great food and good service. The staff here go above and beyond to help. They will go the extra milile with a smile on their faces. The food is excellent and this is a great place for the entire family. The bakery area is a little smaller than some other locations, but overall this is a great spot.
Ordered in person on 8/16/24 around 3pm. The cashier was Cynthia. She is very friendly and went noticeably out of her way to make sure my special request was taken care of; even though I stated that it would be okay if they couldn't accommodate. This kind of customer service deserves a raise. Thanks for making my meal extra enjoyable, Cynthia!

My first trip to this establishment. I wanted to let everyone know that the people at this location truly understand customer service and they executed with perfection. I'm dining in as I type my review. The moral in this place gives out great vibes. The manager shows the upmost respect for her staff. Her soft and encouraging words when she communicates with her staff makes a great work environment. Thanks to the cashier Destiny, kitchen staff and prep team and the managers for this welcoming experience. Donna Allen
my food was so good! very surprised as i have not had panera bread in over 7 years. i ordered the broccoli and cheddar soup (classic) mac and cheese (surprisingly delicious) and the star of the show was THE toasted frontega chicken sandwich. oh i will be back very soon!
My daughter was sick, so she wanted their broccoli and cheese soup. The soup was good and grilled cheese made her feel better. However 😭, the blt and a and bread for the soup bowl didn't settle well and she said it didn't taste right.
The Manager Ashley is establishing a better culture their of guest service and I love it. I enjoy the staff as well. I love the cinnamon rolls. Been a fan for a long time. I like this store very much. I like to give good energy and typically it’s returned with my favorite item. Such a relaxing atmosphere. Keep up the good work.
Enjoyed my visit to this Panera. I tried the Turkey and Cheddar sandwich and I was delicious! 😋 I also enjoyed the Passion Papaya Green Tea! 🍵 The customer service was good and the place was clean.
The food was alright....The person that greeted me at the speaker was nice and patient. I came November the 4th early morning. It was actually around 7:25 or so , the lady was really nice and checked my order. Greeted me at the window with a smile. Friendly customer service, we don't get much of that these days unfortunately. Her name was Cynthia, I could use more Cynthia's at my company.
Had a fantastic breakfast experience at Panera Bread! I tried the Chipolte Chicken Avocado Melt, and it was absolutely delicious. Although our food took a bit longer than expected, the staff kindly offered us a cookie to make up for the wait—a thoughtful gesture that shows how much they value their customers. Not every restaurant handles these situations so well. I highly recommend this place!
I literally ordered my meal on the app for dine in when I was like 2 minutes away and by the time I got there, they were plating my salad. Only took about 3 minutes. Fast, efficient, and easy! The new salad (balsamic greens with grains) was delightful! As well as the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade. ☺️

This was my first Panera bread facility I visited back in the day (2019) before the pandemic compromised everything. I returned back to this facility this year (2024) and I felt more comfortable here than the one in Hampton. The food is fresh, the service is decent. I will come here more often.
Our food was excellent!! We were super hungry. We took our order to go, And it was prepared fast! My mom was impressed that our soup was still very warm when we got home. Her grilled cheese didnt look appealing, she said/I agreed, but actually tasted fine!!! My Mediterranean sandwhich looked and tasted excellent. Definitely will be back!
Had a bad experience at order taking. Maybe this is a rant about an onsite manager not keeping a watchful eye on the front end. Situation: I'm trying to spread my local business $$ around community but I spend 12 minutes behind 2 patrons putting in their dine-in order. While they ask multiple questions, change their order based on cashier recommendations on and on. I watch the busy lunch hour line grow and watch people leave. I watch customers enter, see the line and go back out. If the manager was present and on top of their game a second hand could have been dispatched to avert such a hold up. Couldn't the cashier have asked for help? It came across to me that they didn't really care about my business or the business they were losing. There was a general nonchalance by the cashier. Do you think I'm going to be coming back to Panera bread for my lunch time after having such an experience? Not just know but heck no! I felt greatly unappreciated. I can only hope this review is a wake-up call that management should keep an eye on the front end. Watch your employees and keep watch on your incoming dollars. Be cognizant and have awareness when there is a slowdown and participate in keeping things moving. My conclusion was if you spend 15 minutes of your lunch time just trying to put in your order this is not the place to go for lunch. I have no complaints about the food after I finally got it but while I had my lunch I stewed over how long it took and how I felt, making the experience one I just had to review. Do better !!
This location of Panera is consistently good, with good service and decent food. My only gripe, and it's the same at every Panera Bread I've ever been to, their soups are rarely hot... usually only warm. By the time you've eaten just a few bites, it has gone cold. The new fall sammies are really tasty. Definitely will be a regular in the colder months!
Was pleasantly surprised by this Panera. It was all solo females working on our laptops, so I felt safe getting up to get napkins and what not without guarding my stuff. Staff were super polite, my only issue was that the broccoli cheddar soup was watery
I give 4 stars because I wasn't the one to go into the facility to look but I'd give the service 3 stars. We ordered pickup online and when we got there, my boyfriend said no one was up front helping but the orders were there on the pickup rack. We ordered/paid for a cookie and they just put a sad face on our receipt saying "sold out" instead of someone offering a replacement. We also didn't receive our drinks as there were no cups. So, we paid for more than what we got. The items we did get tasted great !

Wanted to pick up dinner to take home to eat later, and saw this Panera location was close by. I did order in advance, but I was only a couple of miles from the store. They weren't that busy, so my order was ready in less than ten minutes. I got the limited-time bagel stack sandwiches(both of them). They were fantastic. So pretty good usual service from Panera.
My daughter and I have been here twice! And each time we didn't feel rushed nor unheard. We are vegans.....yet bc we're so hungry we did get the cheese bagels ......yet having the vitamin waters available and coffee with great flavor choices like Chai always warms my heart. And they have oat milk too!! I truly appreciate the manager making 2 fresh bagels for us too!! Like thank you for not just saying ' You're Out!'.. and our cashier Michael.... Such a kind soul!! Blessings to you all and family!! Keep smiling!! Now if Panera had fully Vegan Cream cheese to go with a bagel!! This place would be packed!!
The amount of meat for these prices is ridiculous. However, this location has great customer service and a very nice manager. She has stepped in on many occasions to assist with issues and I’ve even seen her ring up customers. I’m not as satisfied with the amount of food but the quality has always been great.
We received excellent service from the entire staff during this visit. I tried the new Croque Monsieur Croissant Toast, and although it was freshly prepared and served piping hot and tasty, it was a mess of a sandwich to eat. The bread did not hold up well with the hot cheeses on the sandwich and fell apart mere bites in. I would probably enjoy it on a different type of bread, but I did not find the Croissant Toast manageable. Our other sandwich was a delicious Ciabatta Cheesesteak, and both sandwiches were paired with bowls of the always pleasing Broccoli Cheese soup.
Over all my experience here was ok the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the salad isn’t fresh and it’s also not the one that I wanted from the picture I saw. Our soup was great my daughter got the broccoli cheese and I got French onion we also got a steak and white sandwich I liked it my daughter didn’t. The young lady at the register had only been working for 2 days she was very sweet and friendly and went above and beyond to help answer my question keep up the great job because we need more people like that in customer service. The assistant manager was also friendly and helpful.I got a refund on the salad and they were very helpful on doing so. They also need to get their drink machine fixed. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's fair. The customer service needs a bit of help. Curbside associates are really nice but placing an order through the drive thru can go good or bad. They rush you and cut you off while ordering. They don't ask if you're a member and if you forget they quickly tell you to tell the person at the window who's rushing to give you your order so you forget to give it to them to. Don't ask for extra dressing because that seems to be forbidden even though you get a salad the size of Texas. Again, it's hot or miss.
For the price you pay for the food , they don't give you enough.
Food was good, as expected. Dining area felt like I was outside. That would be great if it wasn't WINTER and 40°. I heard multiple customers complain about how cold it was in there. Felt like we were being encouraged to carry out and not dine in. Employees dealing directly with customers need better training. Cashier had no clue about the food I had questions about. (Not her fault - need better training). Employee cleaning the tables was pleasant and courteous but was not trained to leave the table somewhat DRY after wiping it down. I shouldn't be able to fill a glass with the liquid residue left on the table after it's wiped. (Not her fault either...need better training). Of course I'll be back. It's Panera. Not aware of any other options - a place I can sit and get some work done while I snack on some decent food.
Just alright. Employees in the back who serve up the food don’t care. They don’t look at you when they speak to you - or call your order out loud enough for you to know your food is ready. They lack attention to detail. My French onion soups (to go) did NOT include croutons or cheese to add. No butter was included or offered for the bread rolls without me asking. I’ve been to this location many times over the last six years…it is hit-and-miss. It’s very costly for what you get. The employees need to be re-trained to be more like Chik-Fil-A employees. Look your customers in the eye when you speak to them. Thank them for their business. Pay attention to details.

Updated 7/17/25. Just visited today, and here’s how it went: After placing my order, I was notified to pick up my food. When I arrived at the counter, I was told it wasn’t ready and had to wait another 15 minutes. The kitchen manager asked us to step away from the counter—though we were only there because we were told our food was ready. We were asked multiple times to confirm our order, yet the delay continued. When part of the order finally came out, the sandwich looked carelessly thrown together, and several items were still missing. While the food itself tasted good, we never received an apology—only attitude. We spent over $30 and got subpar, disorganized service due to a chaotic kitchen. Very disappointing experience.
So the first time I went to this place my food and experience was good! However the 2nd time not so much. My cheddar & broccoli soup seems like i got the last of the soup. There was most cheese only 2 pieces of broccoli. I was so disappointed 😔. I also wasn’t too happy with the bagel it was kinda flat. I guess you gotta go at a certain time. The young lady at the window was very nice and had good customer service just not sure what was going on with the food that day. I went around 6:30 I placed an order ahead of time (probably about 3 hours prior). I’ll give them another try sometimes place have off days especially when it’s busy. I forgot to take pics prior to starting to eat lol
The food was pretty good. I got the chipotle chicken avocado melt. I wish it had more chipotle sauce and bell peppers. There was also a piece of avocado skin on my sandwich. Besides that it was good. The broccoli and cheese soup was perfect and the baguette was soft and fresh. The chocolate chip cookie was good also. My husband was wanting the flatbread pizza and a muffin and they were out of both items so he got the chicken and pepperoni melt instead and he said it was good. I feel like the staff could have been more friendly, both the cashier that took our order and the lady that I asked for a to-go box when we were done eating. She wouldn't give me a to-go box, just a piece of paper to wrap the food in and a bag to put it in. The McDonough location that we usually go to has to-go boxes sitting out where you don't even have to ask for one. There were several dirty tables when we got here and I didn't see anyone going around cleaning tables or sweeping while I was here. The bathroom was especially dirty and in need of a good cleaning and repair. Update 05/24/24 We went here tonight for my daughter's 17th birthday dinner. The food was good and everything was correct. Only thing is she didn't ask us if we wanted bread or chips with our meals and automatically gave us all chips and we had to swap them out. Also, they were out of Dr Pepper. I only came to Panera because Atlanta Bread Company was closed. My mother and I expected good service and a delicious meal. We did not get that at all. First, the girl that was cashier was not helpful at all. I've never eaten at Panera and my mom only did one time, so we didn't know alot about the menu but despite that she vaguely answered questions and was super dry. I've never gotten that kind of attitude at Atlanta Bread. Second, the dining area was a bit of mess. I usually wouldn't mind and understand there's a staff shortage everywhere but they could at least get the trash off the tables. Third, our order was wrong or not what we were expecting. It was clear the cashier was not listening because my mom ended up with half a sandwich instead of a whole one like she asked and I ended up with wild rice chicken soup instead of creamy tomato. We didn't initially get the soup because the guy that handed us our order didn't read. He had a problem when my mom asked him to get the soup. Fourth, the obvious but subtle prejudice/racism. It's actually surprising that all these young black folks would do this but it happened. As more people started to file in for dinner, my mother noticed that the black customers that came in received their food in a paper bag despite eating in while the white customers had their food on trays, in bowls with silverware. Strange that we weren't even asked if we were eating in or taking out. That's always a question at Atlanta Bread. It could be management or a lack of training but the bottom line is it wasn't pleasant and my mom vowed to never eat here again. The sandwiches were good though, ha.
This location needs more consistency!! Every time I come here, there's a different level of food quality; sometimes good, sometimes poor, sometimes a combination. Customers should not have to report to a manager upon each visit! Customer service is good, but the food is not consistent. When I order chicken noodle soup, there's TONS of broth but trace amounts of chicken and veggies. Salad portions are as variable as gas prices! I look forward to improvement on all shifts in the near future!
The employees are young, scatter-brained, & unprofessional. They are so engaged in non-work related conversations that they can't get orders right. The manager, Daija waa the ONLY person who cared. The rest need to be fired!!!
The reasons for the three stars is the order takers attitude and the lady passing out the food attitude Don't know if they're the same person but they probably are. Don't take out time to listen to your order rushing you off the mic and not giving your total before you come around to the window. And the worst thing about it is she's there almost every morning so she's the first thing people see of this business and it's a bad representation just need a little tweaking or some time off to think about it and definitely needs to learn how to smile.
This was not the best Panera! I saw one of the staff members hold up the middle finger at a customer! They are always out of something and it is not the cleanest too! If you are looking for a good sit down restaurant with family, to work, to relax while eating good food, or to get a quick meal from the drive thru, this Panera is not the one!
I’m becoming a regular, and the drive-thru always attempts to be nice nasty. I asked if my bagel and cinnamon bun could be heated today. No one was in line behind me. I was told you have to let them know that beforehand in the app. There is no option for that in that app and even if there was she intentionally just wanted to be unhelpful.
By far the most inconsistent Panera bread I’ve ever been to. I’m not sure if it’s poor staffing or what but they need lots of improvement.
I am a fan of Panera bread. I am very disappointed with the quality of my food. I had the chipotle chicken avocado. It bothers me when my avocado is old mushy and rotted. The customer service was very good. Clean establishment but the main reason for my visit was for fresh good quality food I just wasted $20
I'm very unhappy with the service and product I received at Panera Bread in Fayetteville, GA today. I went through the drive-thru and couldn't remember the exact warm bowl I had last time I was there. I mentioned to the young lady I was trying to locate on the menu a particular warm bowl without meat...she said nothing! Complete silence! So, I said I'll be back, pulled out of line just in case someone came behind me. I looked up the menu online and found the bowl I was looking for, which wasn't listed on their menu in the drive-thru. I pull back around and order my bowl...the young lady decides to tell me THEN they can't make any warm bowls...but never said anything when I originally said I was trying to find a particular warm bowl on their menu. So, I ordered the Asian Salad and a smoothie, and she tells me they can't make any frozen drinks. After what they couldn't do and didn't have, I finally got my salad. Got home and all I have is a bowl of lettuce with pecans and almonds...THAT'S IT! No seasame seeds as listed in description, no cilantro, nor wonton strips. Then I open the TWO containers of dressing and both of them literally have DROPS of dressing. The amount of dressing in both containers would not even fill one of them alone for such a huge salad. My salad is very dry along with missing ingredients! My service was awful as well. Panera Bread please retrain your staff to do better! You've just lost a customer.

So I stopped coming to this location for a while because every single time my order was incorrect. So I take a chance about 2 weeks ago and order was decent. I come back today and get served a childs sandwich. Of course for 10 bucks Im going to say something. They remade the sandwich but why are these tiny end pieces even an option in the bread container??? And I asked for no bacon which receipt clearly states.
Yesterday night I ordered my food through DoorDash. Veggie soup and cucumber salad. I was satisfied with my soup so I put the cucumber salad in the fridge. I wake up at a random time in the morning & I was hungry. So I get my cucumber salad. It hasn’t even been 24 hours & I see THIS!! Mold!!! Why are you guys serving borderline expired food to a customer?! The health department needs to be in that place immediately! I’ll notify the proper authorities.

Great Food, Terrible Service. The food pairings at Panera won me over years ago. I'm a longtime customer who joined the rewards program a few years ago. The young lady at the drive-thru who took my order was snappy, rude and confrontational. She didn't ask the traditional Panera questions such as chips or apple, she simply chose for me. I don't like that the experience I have in another location varies so much from this one. I blame management for this behavior because she's only acting the way management permits her to. Perhaps, like many businesses Panera is having a difficult time securing good employees but the challenge is having a bad employee who shows up ruin your brand. I'm definitely going to note this location as a "DO NOT VISIT" category in my maps so I steer clear. It's a shame with so much competition on this strip you'd think the management team would greater emphasize customer service to their staff. I'm so very disappointed.
Panera Bread is one of my preferred dining establishments, but the Fayetteville location's customer service was exceptionally poor. Manager Ashley's demeanor was unwelcoming, dismissive, and unprofessional, failing to represent the brand's standards. **note** In addition to the inaccurate orders, it appears as though someone is spamming the reviews to offset low scores. Every time a negative review is posted, a "local guide" avatar grants this location a five start review less an hour later with no relevant content. Hopefully this is not the case. Customer reviews are an opportunity to respond to honest feedback to improve the customer experience. It would be a shame if the team cared more about metrics than customers** The food at this location tastes great but unfortunately you cannot guarantee that your order will be accurate. I have ordered from this location several times (delivery and pickup) and important food items are left completely out of the bag even though they appear on the receipt. If there is a shortage of an item, rather than let you know, the item will just be left out but you will still be charged. Your best chance at getting what you ordered is to go inside. Always check your bag and avoid delivery -the bags are sealed (great for safety) but you never know what you are getting.
The service is horrible. The team spends more time playing than being attentive to customers. The playfulness is unsanitary and makes one wonder if food prep is wholesome. The manager is not accommodating; and was going to sell a Greek salad without olives. Who does that! Never again. I'll drive the distance to the Douglasville location.
I love Panera bread. Having to travel a lot, I visit Panera as much as I can. Since moving back to Atlanta, I visited Panera here on hwy 85 in Fayetteville and ordered the avocado breakfast sandwich without the egg whites...so just spinach and avocado..... The sandwich was put together in the sloppiest way possible and the avocado had way too many brown spots. I was in a hurry so couldn't go back right back...
Do NOT order curbside from this location!! This is literally the slowest Panera that I have ever been to. I waited 35+ minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich and soup. I didn’t want to go in because I’m sick, but they clearly had no intention of bringing my food out, even after I called the store to let them know I was outside. When I walked in, my order was still not ready. I saw an employee place it on the counter three minutes after I entered. I saw 20+ cars go through the drive-through so this is clearly the preferred option when ordering here. The food was hot, but I was missing a brownie and napkins in the bag and didn’t have the energy to go back to the restaurant. Again, avoid curbside and just go through the drive-through.
In the past this was one of my favorite quick eats. However today will be my last visit. Due to my previous two visits being bad and today really just made wish I would have followed my first instinct(to drive past). Quickly last visit one order came up completely incorrect with a very dirty spoon and the other visit order completely inputted incorrectly causing me to pay extra. However today I placed an order only to be told that the main item of my order was not available. Was offered something else that I really didn’t want which cost less. Which I would have taken without even asking for the price difference. However how it was presented to me it made us feel as if we were being done a favor because we could get something different. So I asked for a refund and it seemed as if that was a major problem with them. Manager even stated “I’m just trying to not give you a refund.” So I was willing to accept the difference. But when they couldn’t add up the amount without penalizing me for taking the substitute item. I then stated them to just refund me all of my money. Me nor my family will return to this location.
They refused to give me almond milk because they said it was too expensive and said that was policy from the district manager. I am an unlimited sip club member the almond milks is a creamer the creamer is also unlimited but they refused to give me more than a 2oz portion cup and said because it’s so expensive never coming back this location needs retraining and better managing over their budget if $3 almond milk will ruin their truck
I arrived at the drive-through at 7:51 PM on Sunday evening. There were two young ladies outside in front of the call box who quickly ran away as I approached. When I got to the microphone to place my order I was advised that the restaurant was serving soup only because it was one hour before closing. Really?? It’s 90° outside and you think someone wants to eat hot soup?! How does a restaurant shut down their menu one hour before closing. I can only imagine the amount of business that was lost. I’ve never experienced this before however if this is your new policy then so be it. I declined and went elsewhere.
Been here 3 times.. they made my sandwich different all 3 times!! Always a long wait, but the last time I was here I waited at the window for at least 15 minutes. Checked my food and it was totally different than the last 2 times. I asked them politely to make it over and they told me I needed to come in to receive A new sandwich. A couple of minutes later the manager comes to the window and asks me if I declined to come in for my sandwich.. I said “yes , I am late for work and it should take less than 3 minutes to remake it” He threatened me by saying that he was going to call the police if I didn’t move from the window. Wow!!! I immediately asked for my money back and they were happy to process it. Tooo many new people In the kitchen and the manager should be held responsible for the training that the cooks are receiving. Customer service sucks! All 3 times I came to this location I waited a total of 45 minutes to receive my food. I WONT BE BACK.
They didn't bring my curbside order out. I had to call and was told it was sitting there. The young lady I spoke to on the phone said I had to come in and get it! When I looked at the receipt, it clearly says curbside pickup. Mistakes happen but this ended up being a regular occurrence. Even went to drive through once to get my order after waiting and was still told to come in!!!! Again, my receipt said Curbside! I stopped going.....
Order was wrong. Made the order inside the app and customized my sandwich. None of the changes were made, the sandwich was as is. It was cold. The service was terrible I wasn’t provided utensils. I asked for mustard pack I was told they no longer carry them however I just ate there 3 days ago and was given one lol. Also order a soup bowl but was given a cup of soup. This location gives this chain a bad rep ! Don’t visit this location ever.
Trash service = trash food = trash experience =trash feedback.. from the moment I walked in there was no one at the front counter.. eventually someone came up front from the back with they own food and drink in hand… when I asked if I could order this or that they either were out or weren’t making those right now … so literally there was nothing on the menu for me to eat at that point and I felt like just turning around and walking back out that door.. it honestly seemed like it wasn’t an issue with ingredients on hand but rather they didn’t feel like taking the time to make the harder / more time consuming items such as flatbreads .. also why have some breakfast menu items up all day vs other breakfast menu items they take down after the breakfast rush if your not serving it .. why is it up there as an option.. so sadly I will go look elsewhere for food and customer service today cause this place has the most unprofessional staff and is very uninviting from the moment I walked in. But great if all you want is a drink with a side of attitude.. literally wasted my lunch break/ time.
I placed an online order for a spinach and bacon souffle. Received a text and email telling me my order was ready. Go to the rapid pickup section. Nothing was there. Went to the counter, told the cashier the problem. Was told they only had 6 and sold them all. Offered to make another for me but it would be 20 minutes. I decline the offer. I ordered online for the convenience not to come there to wait 20 minutes. What was the point of sending emails and texts if the order wasn't ready? I was pissed! Asked for a refund that was available until about an hour after I left. I will not order from this location online again. Will only go through the drive thru.
The other reviewer is right when they say the employees that work their are “triggered” by something and taking it out on customers.
I waited in the drive-thru line for over 15 minutes, which is completely unacceptable for a drive-thru that’s supposed to offer quick service. I placed my order at 10:20 AM and didn’t even reach the window until after 10:40 AM. To make matters worse, the employees constantly yell "Anything else?" in an obvious attempt to rush your order, yet they can't even get customers through the line in a timely manner. The whole point of a drive-thru is for faster service, but at this rate, it’s quicker to go inside, order, sit down, and eat. The inefficiency is ridiculous and needs serious improvement.
I’m know I’m not the only one when it comes to cleanliness that employees should always wash their hands. On 11/23/2024 the cashier kept scratching her hair and rubbing her face. The young guy that also worked there was touching the plastic utensils after he just been touching several surfaces. But the icing on the cake would be the short brown skinned girl with glasses that has a nose ring kept picking at her nos e where they fix the food. I couldn’t believe she was actually was doing that out in the open. The establishment has too many young teens working together and the manager clearly isn’t paying attention to their workers. Tables were also dirty.
Placed an online order at 7 pm for pickup at 8 pm. Got there at 7:45 and told them I was fine waiting for my order since I was early. I overheard staff saying they were out of what I ordered at 8:15. Instead of notifying me and others waiting for their mobile order they kept us waiting. Told them to go ahead and cancel my order but instead they marked it as ready for pick up. I never received my order and was charged. Waste of time and money. Staff was rude and using profanity for everyone to hear. Would not recommend this location. Consistent bad and slow service.
After having some dental work done I was told to eat soup I drove to Panera Bread for my favorite Soup Then the cashier took my order and then I asked if I could have slice of bread instead of French bread because I just had dental work done the cashier said I have to asked the manager Shakava Skipper. She said No!! In front of a line of customers. After I explained to her what the problem was And how I just needed a soft piece of bread with my soup Any other manager at any other restaurant would have tried to accommodate the situation. It was Such a small Request (Just a slice of bread) I shouldn't of have been so belittled over a small Request
This was such an epic failure. Was looking forward to trying this chicken sandwich after seeing the commercial about it. This was my first time trying Panera. Upon arrival seeing the pictures of it and was thinking this is gonna be okay. As I begin to pay for my order, I saw that the sandwich was $11. I'm thinking, that price, seeing the pictures then the sandwich got to be pretty big. This chicken sandwich should be on a dollar menu. I have had a better chicken sandwich from Wendy's. Then while trying to find somewhere to sit and eat, every single table had crumbs all over it, then there was a manager behind the counter being very loud and showing how unhappy she was this day, but I will say that the mac and cheese was very good. So when it come to this chicken sandwich, I'm good, it most definitely not worth the price that it cost.
It is very unfortunate the person on the speaker right now, 12/05/2025 @ 7:07 pm, is projecting her anger onto the guests. Her attitude and tone are both very disgusting and disrespectful. She is making Panera look horrible. She should not be the personality that deals with guests.
Listen... When I tell yall I was pissed when Uber Eats dropped this trash off at my door without my bread (you can't eat the soup without the bread, its essential) & chips in the bag. So, as I'm calling customer service, I decide to open my sandwich. My Chipotle Chicken AVOCADO sandwich, that had a itty bitty tiny sliver of avocado on it (I had to dig for it), looked mangled and rushed. I'm highly disappointed. 0 out of 10. Do not recommend.
2nd time I've ordered here. Thought I would try the app this time to make sure that my order was ready in App says my order is ready I arrive not only do they not have my order ready but she couldn't find my order request. She had a search for my order request and print the ticket. She said it got bumped somehow and I'm sitting here waiting for my order. This is absolutely ridiculous. I'm literally driving on my way to work in the whole point of ordering an app to be able to pick up your order not coming wait 15 minutes for.
This is thee absolute worst panera i have ever been to! I am a rewards member and have been here at least 7-10 times in the past two weeks! The inside has been closed each time so the drive through wait has been 20-30 minutes! Today while ordering the female employee in the drive thru around 11am was VERY RUDE because she was unaware that we can use our phone instead of the # to collect/use rewards. Then, the system was supposedly down and i could notcollect the reward. Instead of them saying, “sorry for the inconvenience we will give you the free sandwich since its our system that is the issue.” “They said come back tomorrow or pay full price”. Horrible customer service…. After a long wait! Then i get the sandwhich and its messy and warm!!! I am so over this location!!!!
Ordered a whole Frontega Chicken sandwich online and this is what I got... One half with a tiny piece of chicken, on an old piece of bread and the other with no tomato. I went back in to have it remade and all of a sudden they're out of chicken and bread to remake it. Worst experience ever.
I walked in to 3 employees laughing and having personal conversation unrelated to work ! They looked at me as I walked up like I was interrupting their conversation. They finally asked if i could be helped. I ordered a mango smoothie with extra Greek yogurt and less of the purée, simple right? Not to the rude woman named Erica! She made this so difficult, I even said I’d pay extra. I order this same smoothie at every Panera bread in Atlanta, literally, I have been to all of them and this is the first time anyone has ever questioned it. I eventually turned and walked out without a purchase as I was made to feel so uncomfortable. This Erica person was just rude, bitter and apparently annoyed by my lovely presence. I feel for ppl like this being so unhappy with their life choices so they reflect it on customers that’s supplying their paychecks! I will be reaching out to corporate as I called back after leaving and requested Erica’s name and the operating managers information. While staff was standing around chatting, they could have been cleaning up the nasty lobby floor.
Hi - the food is great and the atmosphere is also great. A Very clean store. However, today was my first time ordering delivery and the Dasher reported having delivered my food when nothing was delivered. The issue is that I had to make three calls to try to get this resolved. First, I called the Panera store and the manager said she could not do anything because I had accepted a third-party delivery service. So she directed me to call DoorDash. DoorDash said they cannot do anything because they cannot issue refunds or remake the order because the order was placed through the Panera app. DoorDash directs my call to corporate Panera. Corporate Panera issues rewards to compensate the issue as part of their service failure recovery policy. But at the end, the experience is still negative and the customer (me) did not get what he wanted. So, most likely will get breakfast from somewhere else. Panera has great food but should really rethink its partnership with DoorDash. The store manager even recognized that this is issue is ongoing and very frequent and they have to remake many orders because of this. So I am guessing DoorDash is costing Panera tons of dollars for providing bad service…. Panera I am sure that if a service provider had failed your operations (e.g. inbound supply chain) you would have taken action already. Why are you not taking action with DoorDash when customers - your main source of revenue - are being alienated? Sorry that there is no photo… but no food was delivered to take one.
This restaurant had previously been one of favorite places to eat. But after this horrific experience, I have abstained from coming here again. My daughter clearly ordered the Mediterranean veggie sandwich which unquestionably did not include meat. We picked up the food items and when she opened her sandwich at home, it was stacked with some type of pastrami meat. Clearly this is not a veggie sandwich! When I called and spoke with the manager who was on duty at the time, she immediately gave me the excuse that someone had accidentally put meat on my daughter's sandwich because they were processing a large number of sandwich orders at once. She did not apologize, but told me I could come back up to the restaurant and they would remake the sandwich. I told her I did not want the sandwich to be remade and then she offered to give me a refund for the sandwich. She did not apologize or show any type of accountability for the service they provided. I explained to her that often times customers will order specific types of food items because they could be allergic to other food items. I also explained that there should be more concern and less carelessness in preparing orders for their customers. In this specific case, my daughter is strictly vegan. Their lack of attentiveness and care for customers' personal preferences is evident. I should have paid attention to the previous reviews for this restaurant as the low score that they have has definitely been earned.
The corn chowder is seasonal and a favorite of mine. So, on the afternoon of July 5th, I was delighted to dine in and enjoy a cup. The chowder was extremely thick and brown…stiff and not very good. I returned it to the counter and showed the young man—he was kind and said, “I’m pouring a new batch now.” I could see a clear bag of chowder in a pitcher of what appeared to be hot water. I threw my old chowder away as he poured a new cup and shared the incident with the tall lady, whose hair was in a ponytail. She angrily yelled We do not sell old food, we can’t do that! I told her he saw it, and it looks different from the cup I have. She was triggered by something and looking for an altercation, yelling We don’t make the chowder. I said I’m not interested in your processes, and I saw the chowder in the bag…something is wrong with her trying to escalate matters and be aggressive with customers.
We ordered two soup bread bowls and this is the horrible bread bowls that we received they were burnt and hard!! So so disappointing!! I will never return to this Panera again, yes I called and spoke to a manager named Tony I'm so disgusted with the customer service I received when calling in, that I prefer not to even talk about it!! I was just never do business here again!! They can also use a good cleaning in this store!
I’ve had a few incorrect orders from this location, but it’s getting out of hand lol. As you can see, someone checked and signed that this order has been reviewed for accuracy. Clearly it was not because there’s no way THIS is a chipotle chicken breakfast sandwich with NO cheese & NO avocado (something I order regularly from them). I have no clue where the spinach or plain bagel came from, and there isnt even any chicken. And let’s not talking about the portion sizes (sometimes it’s a half, sometimes it’s a whole, both times you’re charged the same). Im not sure what’s going on but they need to get it together. Oh, and answer the phone lol.
HORRIBLE. I would give 0 stars, but that was not an option. The store was out of several ingredients. I ordered the You Pick 2 combo with broccoli cheddar soup and the chipotle chicken avocado sandwich. They told me they were out of the soup and the standard bread for the sandwich. They subbed ciabatta bread for the sandwich, but made incorrectly (no avocado to be found) and they burned it. I don't recommend that location at all.
Customer service is horrible at this location! Order was misplaced after ordering for dine in. Buzzer rang to pickup order, arrived at the window, order wasn’t ready, asked me to step aside. Called me back to the counter and asked me again what did I order. Never apologized, was extremely rude if not for my husband I would have asked for a refund. I’m never that hungry for horrible customer service!!
I placed an order from curbside pickup today that unfortunately never made it to my car. I went inside to get my order and it was sitting open with the safety seal broken. As you see my contents were not double checked. After getting it home I realized that I had the wrong soup and a very dry substance on my salad that should be chicken. I was advised by management to bring the receipt back for a full but I’m sick and live nearly 15 mins away. After calling customer service the issue was escalated but couldn’t be resolved since this location is privately owned. By far the worst overall experience!
I visited this location this evening. My food was barely warm, barely any meat and when I expressed my concerns to the manager, Ashley, she dismissed it. Advising its portion ctrl. Which is fine, but I asked her to look at the sandwich instead of just coming off defensive. She immediately said Frowned and said nope, I’ll give you a refund. Terrible service!
I waited at the cash register for over 20 minutes to be waited on by the staff. I was the only person at the register. The strange part is other staff members could see me patiently waiting and did not assist. Extremely poor customer service at this store..This occurred, 1/14/2026.
I placed my order, gave my name, was told my name would be called, I sat at a booth close to the pickup area, I just happened to get up & look & my food was there, no one called my name. The wild rice chicken soup was very good, nice & hot. The half turkey cheddar sandwich was salty, I consume very little salt, so my taste buds are very keen. Then it was freezing in there, they had the A/C on...I am still getting over a very bad cold. Then I went to the bathroom, the floor was slippery, I almost fell. Very unacceptable. I won't be coming here again. I was using my last Birthday Gift Card from November 2025.
We came in last year the food was delicious everyone was so sweet. Now it's a huge difference. The food is not as good as it was before. Plus they started to give little chicken pesto dipper. Nothing compared to back then. The coffee 🥲 it tastes like water. Where is the coffee at?
We drove thirty minutes here just for them to completely ignore us when we came! We stood in the lobby, no one greeted us, no one at the counter. Only a few customers in there and no one in the DT, so you couldn’t even justify the poor customer service with it being busy. We stood in the lobby, near the counter for a few minutes and no one came up to even take our order let alone let us know it would be a few minutes. I legitimately started to walk around looking for iPads because I thought maybe that’s where you’re supposed to order? (some stores have the iPads that you order at instead). No iPads, just terrible customer service. We ended up just walking out. Clearly this location doesn’t care about customers. Will never be back.
In the past my orders from this location has been okay but the past delivery order I had was wrong (got sent an ice coffee not hot) and this time was the absolute worst. I ordered a Chipotle chicken avocado melt and it was such a soggy mess it made the bottom of the bag wet. Only a tiny part of the bottom of the sandwich was dry at all with the rest absolutely saturated and it tasted gross so I had to throw the whole thing away. I suspect it was old and not at all freshly made. Extremely disappointed and likely won't order again despite liking this restaurant in the past.
