Theo's Fayetteville

From the second we entered the restaurant, we had exemplary, excellent, friendly and professional service. The food was extraordinary, the atmosphere sophisticated and romantic. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an excellent meal, particularly for a date night.

I came to Theo’s during a busy time (Friday right before close, ~9PMish). I chose to sit at the bar as my assumption was the service would be better/quicker due to the crowd. The bartending staff was great, but did miss some things, likely due to the rush (didn’t get silverware or napkin until I asked in the middle of eating first dish, ordering took a while, first check was undercharged/had to be redone). I started out with mussels and the actual mussels were fantastic. The sauce/soup and bread however were extremely over salted. The wine selection was decent, but they could add more single glass options for sure. All of the good stuff was bottles and the bartender did not offer/inform about the Coravin pour choices (probably should’ve just asked, but was expecting a little run down as I’ve never been here and didn’t know they even had Coravin until I ordered my wine). The steak/main entree was incredible. Steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were well put together and tasteful. When I inquired about whiskey/bourbon, the bartender gave a good recommendation and provided me with the full list (pictured). Overall: great ambiance, staff, food/drink. Room for improvement, but that’s everywhere and I think if I were to of gone on a less busy night, everything would’ve been top notch!

Went for our anniversary dinner and had a very nice time. Hostess and server were both very friendly and we got to sit on the patio which was awesome. I got the salmon which was very good and hubby got the pork chops. I liked them both equally. Will go back again.

My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience at Theo’s. We had reservations for the dining room. I will say, the dining room had a very different vibe than the lounge and patio. It was formal and exactly what we were looking for. If you desire a casual atmosphere to have drinks, I recommend the patio or lounge area. As for the food - we consumed the best scallops we’ve ever had. My ribeye was an excellent cut of meat and rare just like I wanted it. The wife’s lobster Mac n cheese was decadent! Service was impeccable. I wouldn’t change a thing about this place!

I finally made it to Theo's last night and it was amazing! I sat out on the patio with a great view of the sunset. Service was excellent! Friendly yet professional and just the right amount of attentiveness. I ordered the 16 oz Ribeye (yes, is was a big steak) that was served with asparagus, mashed potatoes, red wine reduction, and mushroom duxelle butter. I have to mention how unbelievably good the bread service was as well! Freshly made in house and served warm with a tahin butter. The steak followed suit - it was definitely the best steak I've had in a very long time. Cooked and seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of marbling. The entire experience was top notch. If the steak wasn't so huge I would have tried the deserts too...next time! I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

First time trying Theo's and I was not disappointed.The staff was amazing and very friendly and the food was perfect. When I arrived I was seated immediately 10 out of 10 highly recommend will be returning. The two dishes I ordered were the hanna family lamb shank and the apple tart.

Absolutely excellent. Amazing options, great staff, and a super nice place. We will definitely be back when we are in town. Our favorite restaurant in Fayetteville now!

Food was fantastic and service was stellar.

Food so good I enjoyed the brussel sprouts. I hate brussel sprouts. Honestly though you get what you pay for and not a single thing we ate wasn’t fantastic, even the stuff I’m typically not super into. Fantastic wait staff, also if you ask they will sell you a full loaf of their artisan bread which is also some of the best we’ve had, and we often buy nice breads. This morning I steamed strips of my left over steak and made some some of our chickens eggs and put it all on toast made from the bread loaf we bought, and it still tasted fantastic. 10/10 highly recommend.

Fortunately, not too busy on a Friday night, despite the graduation crowd. Appetizer chimichangas were OK, but not outstanding (could have used more of the salsas). Pork chop was excellent, as was the fish of the day. Brussel sprouts were quite tasty, with delicious crispy bacon bits. Draft beer selection was limited, but Black Apple Crossing cider was a pleasant option. Very friendly waiter, and nice outdoor seating, although the oontz-oontz was a bit loud for conversation.

What an outstanding place! The ambiance was perfect. Candlelight with white linens and low light...soft jazz playing in the background. The perfect place for a memorable evening. If you’re looking for a great “date night” location, you’ve found it. The music was the perfect volume that it wasn’t a distraction but yet added to the experience. The food, prepared by Chef Devin Gamache, was spectacular. We had the duck and the filet. Both had balanced flavors and truly will have us coming back over and over again. Outside of the amazing food, the star of the show was our server, Jordan. He truly knew his menu thoroughly. Jordan was aware of our dietary restrictions as we had made our reservations through the open table app. He was prepared for this, on short notice, and had menu suggestions as well as how each of our selections could be changed in a way to meet these needs. I’ve literally been around the world. I’ve eaten in amazing food cities such as Hong Kong, Köln, Paris, New York, Chicago Philadelphia and New Orleans. In all of my culinary ventures, I’ve never had a server as knowledgeable or as familiar with his menu such as Jordan. Hands down - the best server that I’ve ever had at my table - bar none! I highly recommend Theo’s for the best ambiance, food and service in NW Arkansas. We’ll be back when our travels permit. Thanks to Theo’s Fayetteville for a wonderful experience!

Accommodation of allergies was essential for a good dining experience. Theo's delivered top service and fresh food. Couldn't leave without trying dessert! A fine dining location that treats the customer like royalty.

Josh R was our waiter and had the best time because of him! It was my wife’s birthday and our first time here. He took his time to explain everything, and we asked a lot of questions! We were glad we had him for our first visit because we will be back! Also the food was SO DELICIOUS. From the appetizer all the way to dessert. (Also I don’t like Brussels sprouts, but wow these blew my mind.)

Overall, I had a great experience at Theo’s for my first time. My only negative review would be lack of parking availability to the restaurant, but other than that the service and the food was impeccable.

My husband and I went in for dinner. We were given a warm welcome and seated promptly by the host. Our server, Josh, was exceptional. He was attentive, knew the menu well, and made sure we were well taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for better food or service. We started out with oysters and mussels, highly recommend them. Caesar salad was fresh. Then we shared a ribeye and the sturgeon, both were great. Kudos to the chef, line cooks, hostesses, and Josh for a great experience.

If i had to choose between a bear or the staff at theos I’d choose the staff every time. The second we walked in the door we were met with such a warm and welcoming environment. Our server Josh was phenomenal and made our experience one I will forever cherish. Me and my partner recently moved here from Nashville and have been feeling a little home sick but tonight we found ourselves amongst new friends and dining in a place that felt like our new home. This isn’t a place to go have a quick meal, it’s a place to learn and engage in a remarkable dining experience. Thank you again Josh for your hospitality and grace. Thank you to the chef and line cooks who prepared a meal we will never forget. I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Love Theo's as always, buuuuuutttttttttttttt....was beyond disappointed to learn that they have taken their cheese fries off of the menu (and the duck quesadillas...but most urgent is the cheese fries). Our group always orders them along with a handful of other shareable apps. Please bring them back!

Great. Josh was our waiter, my wife and I celebrated our anniversary. Highly recommend. Service was amazing, food was spectacular. Drinks, appetizers main course everything was amazing.

We have been coming to Theo’s for 5 years and always love having Josh as our waiter—so much so that we request him each time! He always goes out of his way to make all of our date nights special! We love Josh and Theo’s! The chefs make our filets perfect everytime. We have never had a bad meal.

This place was amazing all the way around! We were treating my grandfather out to a nice dinner, and everyone was extremely accommodating to his handicap needs. The waiter was awesome. He took care of us, everything was perfect and no mistakes. Every bit of our food was delicious. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Theo’s in Fayetteville, and I can truly say it was one of the best meals I’ve had. They even offered us a champagne toast for our special occasion, on the house.Great menu, cocktails, service, and atmosphere. The Bones on Toast was the best ever!

Josh was our server, and he was fantastic. Food was great, and they were really accommodating even though we had a really late reservation. Will definitely return!

Went here for the first time and was blown away by the food and service, this place is exceptional! Food was delicious, and for a higher end restaurant like this the serving sizes were pretty good, especially paired with their excellent wine selection, although some wines are definitely for big spenders. Service was great, our waitress was kind, quick, and made great recommendations for food and wine. I let her know that it was my wife and I’s 1st anniversary and she brought out two glasses of wonderful (and extremely tasty) sparkling rosé, which really made my night feel special. If I could give this restaurant a 6/5 stars I would!

Great meal at Theo’s! We had the short rib and swordfish. Both delicious and our waitress Kelly was exceptional. Ambiance was nice. Only miss for us was the broccolini. We’d highly recommend.

We went here for after dinner drinks as a party of 10, on a Friday night. The servers had thier hands full, and they did great! The basil gimlet was delicious! They have a great outdoor area. My party was just there for drinks, and we sat in the lounge area.

I had an absolutely amazing experience, all thanks to the high quality food and excellent service from our waiter Boyd. It's rare I get to write an excited review but out of everything in NWA I would recommend Theo's above everyone else. As someone who never eats pork, I would also highly recommend the porkchops. I have yet to have a better cut of meat than how they served it.

We celebrated our anniversary at Theo’s and were pleased with our delicious meal and excellent service. My husband had the pork chops with chile verde and it was so moist and delicious. I had the beetroot ravioli and that was amazing. The bread is worth the $8 and although it was expensive it wasn’t that bad, worth the price. The atmosphere was quiet.

Without a doubt one of the absolute best places to eat in NWA. On our first visit we selected the Chef’s Tasting for Two and every single course was incredible. Perfectly balancing full bodied, savory dishes with just the right amount of refreshing sweetness. The service is also top tier. Our waiter (shout out to Josh) did an excellent job guiding us through the menu and made excellent suggestions based on questions he asked us about our preferences. Whether you're a first time Fayetteville visitor or a longtime resident, Theo’s is probably the best dining choices you can make. You won’t regret it.

We decided to give this place a try and honestly, we did like the food 👍. The only downside is they took an hour to bring the food and the waiter was barely around.

Great location. Great atmosphere. Prices reflect food quality. Service was very good. We rsvp pre-concert on a Tuesday. Hubby had Shrimp Tagliatelle. I had Steak and Eggs. Both very good. Dessert-salted Carmel ice cream and Lemon Tart.

Great location. Awesome deck. Food was very good but service was average if not below average. Main course came out before appetizer and soup. No one acknowledged it, even when I commented on it. Waiter kept taking plates and drinks before we were finished with them. Without even asking!

Food was pretty good. A bit over priced and not a lot of options on their menu but excellent atmosphere.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The service was absolutely wonderful. Our server Josh was so sweet and very attentive. I was there celebrating my birthday and he definitely made the dinner wonderful and worked to make me feel special. We were a young group and were a little rowdy I’m sure, so I’m really happy with him. The drinks. Thoroughly unimpressed. I ordered a specialty cocktail from the menu and it was so watery. The server asked me how it was and I told him the situation and he brought me a new drink by a different bartender which was better. I got a martini next and again it was so watery. I think the bar needs to work on consistency and making drinks properly (aka not over shaking them). The food was good, however out of my group of 9, 5 including myself experienced stomach pain/issues the following day. I won’t attribute that to the food specifically because there is no way of knowing but it is worth mentioning that we experienced that. I would try this place again because I believe it could have been an off-night for the bar, but it won’t be for a celebration for sure.

This is a high end restaurant with high end prices. The food is pretty good but my disappointment was from the 3% credit card fee. If I’m charged $130 for my wife and I for a relatively modest meal, a cocktail, and a dessert and then expected to cover the cost of doing business, I won’t be back. The profit should be included in the menu prices, not a hidden fee sprung on me as I’m ready to pay. If you want to charge high end prices then behave as a high end establishment.

We had reservations and were really looking forward to our dinner, as this was meant to be a special evening for my birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. No one acknowledged that it was my birthday, which made the night feel impersonal from the start. Our waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu and was unable to answer basic questions. The steak was especially awful — poorly prepared and not worth the price at all. Overall, the food did not match expectations, and the experience fell far short of what we hoped for on a special occasion. We left feeling let down and disappointed. We wont be going back!
