The provinces in China’s extreme northeast are sometimes known as Dongbei, and the food shows many influences that reflect the region’s early industrialization, including Korean and European ones. This wonderful restaurant makes many of its own dishes from scratch, including shredded and fermented cabbage, and loamy blood sausage, incorporated into platters and hot pots. Unexpected starches abound, including steaming bowls of sorghum and loaves of cornbread.

I would like to highly recommend this traditional northeast of china style restaurant to everyone who have never tried it before. The cost performance is very high if you are a pure food lover and a big appetite. The service is super nice and friendly. Everyone was so productive and you don’t need to wait for a long time to have a plate. For the food, I love every courses in this restaurant, especially the deep fried small yellow croaker and stir fried pickled cabbage with glass noodles. By the way, the free relish ia also very tasty and yummy. Sour and sweet pork in a traditional way cook is a little bit too sweet for me. If you wanna try it, I will recommend the way cooking with ketchup. In addition, if you have niver tried frozen pork skin, you must try it in this restaurant! The garlic soybean sauce is so good and the pork skin is very fresh!

Recommendation: 杀猪菜（must try!)，锅包肉，拔丝地瓜 Advantage: North-eastern style of Chinese food with high quality price ratio. We order 8 dishes but could merely finished 1/6 of them. It costs less than 100 bucks before tax. They also granted us Yuanxiao for the traditional festival. One bite of 杀猪菜 and I feel like I am in north east of China LOL 拔丝地瓜（candied sweet photo) has the amazing candied floss. Before you eat it, you should dip the sweet photo into water. It is the first time I tried and it has the sugar coating on sweet photos like glasses. 锅包肉 is an authentic dish. They have two versions: traditional and the modern one with catch-up. We ordered the traditional one. The 春饼 is the large one, unlike what I had in Furun. Disadvantage: Personally, the food here is a bit salty for me. At the mean time, my friend is totally fine with it. If you prefer a quiet and personal space, this may not be a good choice. The tables are close to each other which I am totally fine with it. The parking is expected to be hard as it is in flushing. ;)

Sour cabbage dumplings with pork Rating 8/10 Big, juicy, stuffed with filling, and you get around 20 or more for about $16. Crispy lamb with chili pepper Rating 8/10 Fully spiced without being hot. Tender meat. Blood sausage Rating 10/10 It's some of the best blood sausage because it is clean, fresh, without the mineral gamey taste of most other blood sausage. Sauteed spinach with garlic sauce Rating 7/10 Good fresh greens in savory broth. Eggplant with garlic sauce Rating 6/10 It's a different style than I expected, it's sweet and spicy but the flavors didn't fit together. Fried bean curd home style Rating 7/10 Flavor is a little strange in the tofu but the other veggies were savory and flavorful.

This place deserves a better Google score! We 7 people ordered 11 dishes. All dishes taste great! And the price is very reasonable! I strongly recommend boiled fish (水煮鱼). 2nd time coming to this spot with friends, ordered 6 dishes for a party of 4. My favorite was the diced spicy chicken and cumin lambs. Overall, it was good, would come back. Northern Chinese food is known to be humble with their portion, price and actually cook to order in their kitchen. Servers were not attentive, unsure if that’s the culture they don’t want to disturb the group and wait to be called, but when called they do come quickly to assist. We ate and finished almost everything on the table, and were happy.

Knew this place so long, but this is the first time I have been here. So many dish choices. It's northern east style Chinese cuisine. Teste very good.

The quality of the food is passable. There is nothing I would have sent back to the kitchen, but there were few dishes I had a taste of and I left alone without a second bite. The cumin lamb (Crispy Lamb with Chili Pepper) was decent in terms of flavor and didn’t skimp on the meat, which is good. However, it wasn’t exactly crispy as it advertised, which was disappointing. The Spring Pancake Combination had fairly good quality pancakes but the accompaniment vegetables tasted as if someone just threw some eggs and vegetables into a pot, stir-fried with water and soy sauce, and called it a day. Overall, the quality is fair and the quantity of food is good for the price point, but it’s not a place I would return to if I’m in the area.

We couldn't believe that one of the takeout dishes we ordered from them smelt like something disgusting out of a toilet bowl. And the color of the meat shows it could be leftover. But it shouldn't smell so disgusting like that even if it's rotten leftover.Did someone mix something "golden" and stinky with some leftover to make us give up on it after paying for it? We ordered takeout because we did not like the attitude of their service the last time we dined in.Then it's only gotten worse with takeout.

i order 3 entry ，but jelly fish head and cool noodle from but two of them has no taste.. very plain.. they are promised to make it up when i place next order and put down my phone # and name.. however. when i order a few days later .. they refuse to make it up. which make us very frasturated.. and attitude is very rude and dont want to reimbust.. never ever order again.. very bad service. rude！

The foods were below standard level. Its worse than take out fast food chinese store. And they charge extra 4% for CC adding additional to ur tab. I have never seen any restaurant that made the customer pay for Credit card transactions fee. Seriously if food were great i wont care about cc fee but it was really that bad. Not worth the money
