This was a very nice restaurant, good atmosphere, service and parking. My only concern is that the food wasn't hot enough and the waiter/waitress should have been more attentive. Improve those two things and I will gladly give you a 5 star rating. See you soon!

Tio's Mecican Grill in Fontana. CA. The food is delivered on exceptional large platters. Served hot with visibly fresh ingredients. If you love cheese, then this is your place. At the end of the restaurant there is a nice bar with TVs a small dance area. Price point above average $$ and half.

Elsie Corona (Mama Corona)

This place has changed. It's bigger and now has a live band. Apparently it's different one each week. The food is ok. We had the fajita meat and shrimp, they use ranchera. Also the fully loaded nachos. The bar has it's own seating side. It's kinda small but it gets packed. Good music.

Friendly service, great food and energetic atmosphere. I had the chili relleno burrito. It comes with beans cheese and pico de gallo. The chili was stuffed with a really good amount of cheese and I noticed very few seeds. The tortilla melted in my mouth. The carne asada burrito had really tender meat and a flavorful sauce. The horchata was the best I've had in awhile. It was sweet smooth and delicious.

Really cool spot. They have a live band on Friday, that's when I went. Drinks are good. And the food is good as well. Ambiance is relaxed, there is families that go. Nice selection of food and drinks. Good customer service, but when it gets busy, the servers tend to lose themselves. But overall. A good spot to grab a drink and either watch sports or listen to the band.

Well, brand new place. This is not Tio's anymore...now it's MoVal BBQ. First review. Friendly owner that has the right intentions. This is the place to go too if you are looking for inexpensive BBQ. Now please don't get me wrong, sauces and all are a taste thing so opinions might differ but i really liked the BBQ sauce he puts on his meats. Thin, not super thick and not overpowering. Flavor is also pretty good. The meat is a hit and miss. I really liked the chicken and pork ribs. Really good stuff. Beef ribs were also not Bad but i had better. Brisket was not good at all. It was hard to pull it apart with just my hands. Very tough. Nice smoke ring but just Soo tough. Flavor was pretty neutral. But i will give it another try some day. It's so difficult right now during this covid pandemic to find good and consistent suppliers. Sausage links were ok as well. We also tried all the sides and they were ok. Unfortunately none of the salads, beans and other sides are just store bought and not made in the restaurant. For example, the macaroni salad is the generic one you can purchase at walmart or smart & final. Bottom line is: if you are looking for a great place to have inexpensive BBQ this is the one to go too. BBQ is not the best but for it's location and all it's pretty good. It's also a new place and probably needs a bit more time to get dialed in. It is really hard to leave an all around review for a BBQ restaurant because opinions and taste butts are so different. I recommend going there. It's not a pretty looking place but the owner is super cool and tries hard. He definatly has BBQ experience and for the price he charges i have no complaints.

Food is mid at best, Horchata was good though. Not a sit down restaurant in the fact that you aren't ordering with a waiters you order at the counter then go sit down. Got 2 taco plate asada (not a fan of lettuce on tacos) and pastor (was too salty) plus a potato taco (decent no sour cream on it) . Bar side is more lively and I think whats more popular about this place.

The food was ok. What really dropped my expectations for the first time I tried this place was the lady taking the order. I would assume that once a customer walks up to place an order, you would get off the phone and give options for the best plates available. But it seems that the topic of "Salvadorian cream" was more important.

I really like this place. I come here frequently but today was not good. It’s disappointing. Unfortunately it wasn’t just one thing. Everything was bad. Our food took forever to arrive and it wasn’t that busy. I’ve been here when it was busier. You now have to ask for hot salsa on taco Tuesdays. So you have to go back to the register after you’ve ordered. They no longer offer the little bowls for salsa, you get tiny containers now. My beans were weird tasting and cold. I got a rotten carrot in my pickled carrots. The salsa is watered down now. My chicken hard shell tacos were not good. The chicken was mushy and flavorless. Never had chicken like that. It was so different and weird. Not sure what happened to this place. Very disappointed

Worst service ever experienced they legit argue with me over salsa for my tacos charge me $25 for 6 tacos but won’t give me more hot sauce it’s crazy work

I ordered a Mexican salad with chicken and a carne asada torta. I've attached the images, and I hope they speak for themselves. The shredded lettuce and shredded yellow cheese departure these plates from traditional ingredients. It literally looks like the salads or sandwiches you can buy at a local gas station. I was extremely disappointed, and I will never step foot in here again.

Have to update my review for the past years I was a loyal customer specially for the carne asada plate that is always delicious well done and big enough plate but today was the worse plate ever, but meat, rice uncooked, without pico de gallo, guacamole and crema, cmmon for $15 is not worth it, you lost a customer and I'm waiting for my refund I will not drive just to exchange 😤💔
