Mr. Jim's Pizza

We love Mr. Jim’s pizza in Forney. We’ve tried several and consistently return. I will say that more than once (like tonight) we get home and we are missing the sauces/dips that should come with something or we’ve paid for it and we have to call and get it credited, super frustrating. We’ve also gotten home and the wrong pizza was issued. So I will say, check before you leave.

Our pizza order was delivered better than we expected. Hot and on time. Great people to work with.

Mr Jims has the tastiest pizza in Forney, we love the crust. I just supplied a party on Saturday for my son and everyone commented on how good the pizza was. Got the BBQ Chicken Pizza sub'ing out green onion for bacon, a couple of meats pizza and a cheese/pineapple. Always the best! Thank you Mr Jims!

We order delivery at least twice a month! This location is the absolute best! The delivery staff is friendly and fast! Pizza is always, hot, fresh and so good! Don’t sleep on this location in Forney!

What I enjoy the most about this place is that the food is always fresh. Especially the pizza. I usually switch up my topping selection and it is always amazingly delicious! Staff is always friendly.

I even read some other reviews and I don’t know where you’re going but clearly it’s not here. Focus on the food and not looking for someone to kiss your backside because you walked through the door! The Sticky Fingers is amazing. Cinnamon sticks that are not cardboard the next morning! Don’t walk RUN!!! These guys are passionate about their product and it shows. Ordered delivery and it was at the front door within 30 minutes piping hot! Only place we’re getting pizza from from now on!

Dominos who? My husband and I just ordered Mr. Jim’s for the first time. We got a stuff crust pizza and a salad. Both had the freshest ingredients. They were both so delicious. We’ll be back soon ❤️

Ordered in Tonight from Mr Jim's. Haven't had there pizza in a while since we moved. Pizza was great and the salad and cinnamon sticks were awesome. Definitely need to come here more often. Thanks again dinner was Awesome!!

Best pizza that I’ve ever had, seriously. Best supreme pizza ever. The wings were bad, I mean they probably sat out all day. I can taste the flavor of the room. If they are going to be that expensive they need to pay attention to quality control.

If you're tired of the same pizza from Pizza Hut, then you have to try MrJim's...Pizza and cheese bread sticks are delicious!!! You will pay a little more but it's worth it!!!

I miss not having a Jets closer to Forney so I tried Mr. Jim’s Detroit-style pizza. I know it is considered traditional Detroit-style to put the sauce on the top, but for me it was just a little too saucy (again, I prefer Jets). But the taste was fine. I want to go again and try their traditional crust pizzas. I didn’t have a coupon, but they offered me one. Yet when they tried to ring it in I was told that it was expired. So they kind of got my hopes up for nothing. Had to pay full price.

We wanted to try a new pizza place today and ordered from Mr. Jim’s. Three out of 5 of us ate the pizza. Those three had upset stomachs within two hours. The pizza cookie was only thing that everyone enjoyed. Will not be ordering again.

We ordered a meat lovers pizza with garlic Parmesan crust and didn’t receive the garlic Parmesan on the crust. I called them about it, and the lady was argumentative and didn’t want to fix the problem. Will not be ordering from them again!

So it’s Sunday night 8:37pm and I order pizza from Mr.Jim’s Pizza. An hour goes by and still no pizza delivered. Mind you it closes at 9:30pm on Sundays. I made the order on UberEats and when i check on the app. THE RESTAURANT CANCELLED MY ORDER! If you knew you couldn’t make a pizza within the time frame then DONT take the order. Just ridiculous!

Should have got a refund when I seen flys/bugs. Pizza was fresh, but did not taste good at all. Wings would have been good if they weren’t to soggy. I would not return.

I usually have a great experience at Jim's Pizza, but after today, I won’t be coming back. I ordered online for pickup and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I ended up waiting over an hour, only to get home and find my pizza was undercooked, soggy, and raw in the middle. Really disappointed with the service and quality this time around.

Tried to call them for 40 minutes. Had to go up there to order my pizza was not even hardly cooked. It was so limp I had to roll it up and I asked for it to be extra crispy. It was the worst pizza I think I've ever had will not be returning. Spent almost $30 for two pizzas. Not worth five, much less 30

I had been ordering from Mr. Jim’s for over a year and was very pleased with their quality. Unfortunately, about 1 month ago, the pizzas they delivered were subpar. The crust tasted stale and there was very little sauce. The pizzas were not edible and we had to throw them away. I called the store immediately and they issued me a credit for 2 Large Pizzas. Tonight, I decided to give them another chance. I called the store and ordered the 2 large pizzas I was credited. The young lady took the order and said they would be delivered in approximately 45 minutes. 45 minutes later, instead of receiving my pizzas, I received a phone call from the same young lady that took the order and she said that the owner told her that my credit was for carry out only! I have never once been to their store. Every order I have ever placed has been for delivery and I assumed that when they offered me the credit it was to replace the order that I had to throw away. I offered to pay the delivery fee and tip the driver. The young lady said she would contact the owner and let me know what she says. That was 30 minutes ago and I’ve heard NOTHING!!! Sorry Mr. Jim’s, but your appreciation for your existing customers is severely lacking and in this case, you have lost a customer PERMANENTLY. Glad I ordered Papa John’s as soon as I hung up. We will actually be eating edible pizza tonight instead of waiting for your call back.

I used to order Mr. Jims bi-weekly but my last few orders have definitely been below standards. Took my 40min delivery 1.5 hrs. Delivery was left on the ground at the door, without a courtesy knock/ring. Ordered the stuff crust but it was forgotten by the staff. Asked for BBQ wings that seemed to be without sauce. After receiving my order I called the restaurant and the staff member did apologize, but offered zero compensation for their mistakeS. Might be time to go back to the larger chains unfortunately.

I placed an online order as a guest. The order I placed was wrong when delivered and when I called to verify the order, the employee immediately said there’s nothing they can do without verifying my info or the order. When I asked if they have a copy of my order she then said my info and I made this mistake on my end. No apologies or benefit of the doubt to the customer. I have had multiple problems when orders from Mr Jim’s. I tried giving them 1 more chance and I continue to be disappointed!

Probably the fact that there was little to no marinara sauce anywhere on this pizza. I decided to take a few more bites until I bit into what tasted like freezer burnt sausage. Like it's been sitting unsealed in the back of the freezer for a solid year. My partner thought I was exaggerating until they took took a bite of their piece.... Disgusting. The wings I expected to be small. But these little things are hardly wings. Slivers of meat lay under the soggy mushy ...breading? Skin? Crust? Idk pick one. I will add that the sauce was alright. About the only thing even remotely close to good from this order was the bread bites. Only after I added my own garlic butter because they put like 2 drops of theirs in it and the lightest sprinkle of Parmesan 🙄 The location was fast. Unwelcoming though. No greeting when I walked in. No thank you when leaving. Here's your food now go away type thing. Which is fine... When you serve great food.... While waiting for someone to greet me, I noticed the kitchen was very..... Caucasian.... And it reflected in their food.

Edit to say… I found two other reviews with the same story. Very sad and bad business. I order here all the time, had an issue recently with two orders and was told I had credits to use and they could only do them in the evening or weekend when they have a delivery driver in order to deliver them, original orders were delivery. I finally go to use them and run into issue after issue. Can’t find my account, no orders since 2022, can’t look up my email. Finally got to the point of getting my pizzas. An hour later I get a call saying they can’t deliver them, that I have to pick them up. So my pizzas are sitting there cooked and getting cold and won’t be delivered. I paid for delivery on the two pizzas y’all messed up. I was told specifically when I could use the credits in order to have them delivered. This is ridiculous way to treat a customer, now an ex customer. I won’t spend another penny there.
