What a great surprise . Had the baked potato with the BBQ brisket , oh it was absolutely delicious , such a wonderful combination of flavors , I will be dreaming about this meal . Highly recommend .

This is my favorite barbeque place. The meat is always so fresh and the service is outstanding. I have noticed the management here goes above the standard when it comes to the employee training and standards. The employees seem to actually respect the manager, and he has definitely earned mine. As well as the all of the employees under him. I consider myself very lucky to have this establishment so close to home. Thank you for serving me all these years I've called forney home.

I got a lot of food today. Baked potato was perfectly cooked. Brisket was tender and moist. Chicken was juicy. Ribs were meaty. Fried cabbage was great. Everything was good. Great customer service too. Definitely will be back.

Came into town to catch the Dallas game. Stop at Soulman's Bar-B-Que for some ribs. I ordered a full rack of ribs (and I'm glad I did) the meat was falling off the bone! Service was fast very polite! The place clean and spacious.

This restaurant is our favorite restaurant. You can't imagine the feeling of eating your favorite food after a day of work. It's so wonderful. Thanks to the handsome guy and sweet girl tonight. They are always so kind. I wanted to leave a tip, but they didn't accept it. Next time, I will change some cash with me... Soulman's serves food right from their soul! Great bar-b-q sandwiches and sides. Tasty stuffed baked potatoes and fast service. My husband had to have a BBQ sandwich every week from the restaurant. Thank you for being in Forney!

Man. I worked at a place like this that had thee best brisket. They are still #1. This place solid #2. Definitely not a bad thing. The place I worked, their brisket has the best flavor. This place. Idk. Sounds weird but working in a barbecue restaurant for years knowing what to look for, the brisket here just tastes so clean. Doesn't taste like artificial b.s. or desperately over seasoned. I can't explain it. Very pure taste. Sausage normally makes me sick with cramps. Not this sausage. The macaroni was freaking amazing as well. A lot of places have really disappointing mac n cheese. I'm really picky with my barbecue sauce. This barbecue sauce is definitely a top contender. Definitely 5 stars across the board for me. Small toppings bar does it's thing too. The employees were very nice. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend. Makes me a little sad that I can't stay an extra day and that you guys open after I leave. Now I'll have to use you guys as an excuse to come here.
