Authentic Persian cuisine. Not only that, it's wonderfully prepared and so delicious. We went to lunch. They have a lunch buffet on Wed/Thu/Fri that provides a good variety of different dishes, especially for the uninitiated. Treat yourself to the best Persian food in South Florida. It's a must whenever I visit the area.
We went late so the place was quiet and we were two tables only but the greater was so nice to welcome us and the food was amazing and great price
Great place with excellent service, friendly staff and the food. Mmmmmm the food was amazing - delicious right temperature and very nutritious. The eggplant dip and the lamb shank were to die for. Next Saturday we are going again for the belly dance program.
This Persian spot is a must try. We have been coming for years. I just had the lunch buffet and it was outstanding they offered breads, two salads, yogurt with cucumbers, hummus and veggies. For the hot plates they had ground beef kabobs, chicken kabobs two stews, carrot rice and white basmati rice. Service was excellent went with two toddlers and they loved it.
Best Persian food in southern Florida Better value best kabob to compare with shah of kabob On top of that the home made dessert is excellent it’s must try Enjoy
Excellent food! Awesome atmosphere. You will feel as if you stepped into another country. Kababi Cafe by Kuluck has been on shows such as, “Check Please” and Guy Fieri “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” so that should tell you a lot . On Saturdays they have an amazing belly dancer 😊 They have a buffet that can’t be beat! They bring the Mediterranean to South Florida. I love this place!
Real deal flavor and super friendly staff at this Mediterranean place. The grape leaves are served warm with sweet mint and just crushed all the others I have had anywhere. The chicken pomegranate stew over rice makes this a destination place. They were just setting the buffet up and we will back for that. This is a must do place and as a member of triple D nation I know why Guy went here.
An incredible find this Sunday. This place from outside you can't imagine how good you are going to eat, feel and even get entertained. On Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 4pm you have an extensive buffet. On Saturday evening you have a show with your dinner. This place is also a Bakery The food we had was delicious and fresh. Our waitress Jasmin was helpful in our selection since we didn't know too much the names of the dishes. Next visit for us will be on a Saturday to see the entertainment and order from the bakery.
This restaurant is unbelievable Perfect food amazing seating area atmosphtmre Food is the best and price its practically price of one single dish for 3 course food Hidden Gem
This was on our list for some time and finally we were able to make it. Oh my! the buffet was so delicious and fresh. Kudos to chop chop rice. However, buffet is a bit pricey on weekends and options are comparatively less.
Excellent Persian food with high quality and best friendly service. This is the best one in town, I live in Orlando but whenever I come down to south Florida, this is my favorite restaurant to eat at. I am Persian myself, therefore I know the authenticity of the food and the quality.
Beautiful place for Persian food , strongly recommended
Have not been here for awhile due to the pandemic, but was dying for Persian food. Kababi Cafe is the ONLY place to go if you want authentic Persian cuisine, attentive service, and a vibrant and interactive belly dancing show! We arrived a little after 7:00 and left around 10:00. From appetizers, to main entrees, to tea and dessert, everything was perfect; you dine leisurely, savoring every bite, and you enjoy your dinner in a lovely environment decorated with artifacts and Persian carpets. I could imagine the great literary minds of Persia, now Iran, eating in just this type of place! The belly dancing show was as enjoyable as any I’ve seen, and the dancer was not only highly skilled, but also beautiful as she involved so many patrons in the dancing. For visitors to our area, check out Kababi to experience the beauty and sophistication of our Iranian and international communities here in South Florida. You will find it to be a night to remember.
OMG ... The Cafe Trio with a skewer of each Barq (steak), Boneless Chicken, and Beef Kabobs served with a "side" of rice....AMAZING!!! Ps...add the spice called sumac!! Meat marinated and oh so tender! DELICIOUS...highly recommend this place! Our waitress Fara was fantastic!!!
If you love Persian, Greek, or Mediterranean food. OMG. THIS PLACE IS A MUST. Amazing food, atmosphere and impeccable service. Thank you Hedieh. You were amazing. Looking forward to coming back next time we visit the area. Above Average. So grateful. Excellent. Can't say enough good things about this experience.
The most authentic Persian food I’ve ever had, the flavors were astronomical!! I will be craving this for days. Absolutely stellar service & even more delicious food. 1000000000/10

we only come here once a year because my sister's belly dance show, and the restaurant is so nice to let them use the restaurant as a venue. the food is really good. they have a nice buffet for dinner.
Excellent chicken stew! Very unique food with excellent service!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kababi cafe .From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance transported me to an oasis of warmth and elegance. The menu boasted a delightful array of Persian delights, and each dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The kebabs were succulent, the saffron-infused rice was heavenly, and the aromatic herbs added a unique touch. The staff’s attentiveness and the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity made this dining experience truly exceptional. I left with a satisfied palate and a newfound appreciation for Persian cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an exquisite culinary journey.
I recently visited Kababi Cafe Kuluck and was blown away by their delicious food! The kebabs were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The service was also top-notch, with friendly staff and quick turnaround times. Ambiance was cozy and inviting. Overall, I highly recommend Kababi Cafe Kuluck for a fantastic dining experience!
I love it here the staff is super nice and on point. The food is beyond amazing, try everything! The flavors are unique and will stay making you want more!!! The light music just makes the entire experience 100x better! I highly recommend this place for any occasion 💕💕✨
If I had the choice.... I'd be having lunch and dinner here DAILY!!! What an awesome restaurant... tasty food and great service. Love it. A local gem indeed.
My family and I stopped Friday night and really enjoyed the delicious buffet and awesome belly dancing show. The service was excellent. Our server was Josie and she was very kind and attentive. They had a really great drink special too, buy 1 get 1 all night long. The manager was so friendly and really made us feel welcome. Thank you, Kababi Cafe!
Devonte and Uday were amazing to us. Very attentive, polite, and professional. The food was amazing and fresh. The music was pleasurable. The design inside is very beautiful. Excellent experience!
We saw this restaurant on the TV show diners, drive-ins and dives and wanted to check it out. It lived up to expectations. The food was delicious and exotic. I loved the chicken kebab and grape leaves. Best to get the buffet so you don’t have to wait for the food, the dessert of the layered cake was moist and delicious. We had great service from our waiter Christian and all the food was very fresh. Will definitely come again.
Amazing food and service! Delicious persian cuisine. Will definitely come back again. Thank you!
Kababi Cafe has really great food! Especially the chicken and beef kebabs. The atmosphere is quite odd - obviously this was a different type of restaurant or club in the past. They have live entertainment on weekends. Also a great buffet for lunch on weekdays and weekends. Be sure to check their hours!
Wow! This place is amazing! You can't tell looking at from outside, but once you enter the restaurant, you will be blown away. Decor is amazing. Full bar, plenty of seating. Small stage for live music. Big enough for parties and get togethers. The food was really good. The service was excellent. Definitely can't wait to go back as a few of us and really get to enjoy the menu. It's definitely worth checking out. You will end up going back.
I visited this place yesterday night, my first time and I must say I have never eaten any kebab this much flavorful. Truly delicious. I live in New York and have lots of options here yet I feel the quality and quantity still lacks many times. I will revisit this cafe anytime I go to FL. Best kebabs ever.
We had the Kibe, grape leaves and the chicken kebob. The grapes leaves and kibe were the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was super tasty and the rice was perfectly made.
The lunch buffet is so wonderful 😋. So wroth the $$$$$$$.don't go eat the same old things come here.
I usually don't explore much and try new places, but this one's and exception. I visited my nephew last week so I googled and saw this restaurant but when I went there it is totally different on how it looks from outside to inside. The ambience inside is probably the best in the entire surrounding of sunrise and fort Lauderdale area. One thing I noticed in the food is the aroma that you get while eating the rice dishes and I was really impressed by the smell and the taste it was giving and when I asked the server he said they use saffron for flavor and color. Having lived in US for almost 16 years by now I have only seen restaurants using food color for giving that look but after getting to know that it's real saffron I was really impressed. I would definitely visit the place another time soon.
The restaurant is cozy, food was delicious and service by Mojtaba, our host, was great! Highly recommend, will definitely go back and take our guests!
I love Iranian food and so when I moved to south Florida I found Kababi. The Kababs are delicious, perfectly seasoned. Even the Shirazi salad tastes so fresh. I definitely recommend this place
Decided on going here for lunch after catching it on DDD on the food network. Am so glad we did. I had the chicken with pomegranate and walnut sauce stew, and my wife had the chicken kabobs. The portions were quite generous. Both meals came with a plateful of Persian seasoned rice. The flavor of the pomegranate was amazing. Bright, fruity, but with an earthiness brought on by the walnuts. It wasn't sweet but had a hint of sweetness. The meat in both dishes was perfectly prepared, tender and juicy. They have a buffet Wednesdays through Sundays and we are planning our next visit for that.
Visited this place on a weekend buffet, I think it's one of the few places in the sunrise area who offer full length of buffet options. If you like grills and barbecue then this is the only place to find quality I think. I liked the chicken although I am not a big fan of beef I even liked the beef as it tasted very much flavorful. This is fine dining restaurant so looking at that the prices are far better than other buffets that I've eaten so far ....any day anytime I prefer buffet when I am eating out cause I get to taste everything without worrying about the price and quantity. Ahh definitely dooo try their Persian Tea....one of a kind. I'm planning to have my son's birthday celebration there soon.
I really enjoyed the beef, and chicken kebab I got from this restaurant. The meat was extremely tender, fresh, and flavorful. They are generous with the portion size as well. Highly recommend this place for authentic Iranian food!
We had the buffet Meat and chicken were great. Very nice selection Great service by Asi She knows everything about the food and the restaurant
The food was amazing and the service even better. Very attentive and friendly and would highly recommend.
We had an amazing time here the food was awesome but what stole the show was the fresh fruit drinks they offer
Excellent Dinner experience, First time trying Persian Food, Highly recommend! Friendly atmosphere, on the weekends Music and Belly Dancing! Lots fun for family and Friends to get together!! And the Owner is the main Chef..
This restaurant definitely has the best Persian food! For an authentic taste definitely try them! The eggplant dip was so delicious we had to order another serving to go! Definitely try the lamb shank super tender! The price is very reasonable and great service!
The food was the best! Really great service. Love this Persian restaurant.
Amazing Persian food! Tea, hummus, and kabob were terrific. Very fresh ingredients and Asi our waitress took care of us and went above and beyond. Beautiful middle eastern vibe as well!
So happy we found this place! The ghormasabzi is super authentic and reminded me of my baba’s cooking. The buffet was super convenient to taste different foods and everything was delicious! Whether you’re Persian or want to take authentic Persian food this place is amazing, definitely check it out! Will be back ☺️
Just had the most incredibly delicious Persian/Iranian food for lunch. This is better than any Iranian food I’ve ever had. The environment is warm and welcoming. Our server asi was amazing.!
Can’t wait to try the buffet (sat-sun 1-4pm) Had take out and tried the kababs (beef and chicken) and the eggplant appetizer truly delicious. I’ve had Iranian food before and this was authentic and even generous. Restaurant looked pretty big from inside. Highly recommended. It’s a hidden gem!
It’s been a long time since I had Persian food . This was amazing . I went in for their lunch buffet this past Sunday the 27th of July . The koobideh ( beef kabobs ) were amazing . They had gheme, sabzi, and grilled Cornish hen . All the food was amazing . I had to order the saffron ice cream and faloodeh. Our server was amazing , can’t quite remember her name but she was exceptional. We will come back again when we come and visit , hopefully I’ll be able to move somewhere closer to this buffet
Title: Delicious and Authentic Persian Buffet We have been looking for a great Persian restaurant for a long time, and The Kababi Cafe did not disappoint. We enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner last night. We were greeted warmly and seated right away. The atmosphere feels authentic and cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. There was a large variety of fresh, flavorful dishes, including juicy meat and chicken kabobs, creamy and tasty hummus with fresh vegetables, white basmati rice, raisin basmati rice, and two different hearty stews. Everything tasted homemade and was beautifully prepared. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Our server was friendly and checked in at just the right moments. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and variety of food. We left feeling satisfied and eager to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Persian/Iranian cuisine!
Best food in broward county and dade I been and many restaurants but never like this one so fresh and food is tasty and fancy I enjoy going with the family .
This restaurant has amazing food it truly is one of the best Persian restaurants I’ve ever been to and I highly recommend coming here because the food is a masterpiece and the decoration is really cool the lights are really cool to and the music is really good and the waiters are extremely amazing.
The kebab is the best I’ve ever had! The service was fantastic…. Drinks were delicious & generous. We were lucky enough to be there during the belly dancing and it was incredibly entertaining for the entire family. I highly recommend this restaurant. We coming to Fort Lauderdale every other month and it is our favorite spot.
On of the best places to eat and enjoy Persian food. A vary family environment, so if you want to have a family or friend diner/party kababi Cafe is the perfect place to go. Not only you will enjoy the delicious food, but also on the first Saturday of November they will start to have Belly dancers again.
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at this Persian restaurant, and the experience was truly delightful, The food was fresh and flavorful. However, what really made my visit special was the outstanding service from Así. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and took the time to explain the dishes and make excellent recommendations.
Persian food is similar yet different to other middle eastern cuisines (Lebanese, Israeli, Syrian, etc). This is a very large facility. They host banquets and have live bellydancing shows. It was empty when I arrived Sat afternoon around 5 pm. Once the Covid 19 restrictions are lifted and people feel safe to go out, I'm sure this place will be busy. My server, Sherene, was friendly and knowledgable. She answered my questions about menu items with ease. In addition, she made suggestions about dishes that are not on the current menu. Apparently, Food Network visited Kabbi Cafe. I ordered a menu item, Addas Polo, that was well received by them. It was excellent! The basmati rice ( 2 kinds) with lentils, raisins, onions, other stuff was so tasty. The grilled chicken was similar to kebabs but not on a skewer. It was flavorful and reminded me of tandori chicken. The Tadig ( crispy rice) was interesting. I ordered 2 stews as suggested, the lentil and pomegrante. Her description of burnt rice but not burnt was on point. The rice is served sort of like a patty with a crust. The stews go on top. I picked a piece of this rice and put the stew as a topping and ate it like a cracker. I'm not sure if that's the correct way, as nobody was in there except me. Starting in Nov, they will host a buffet from 1-4 on Sat/Sun. I will be back!
Kababi Cafe had been a favorite spot for our family for nearly 15 years. The food is delicious and so authentic, the best Persian restaurant in south Florida. The service has always been great whether you come in with your family of 20+ or it’s just a date night. If you’re looking for great food, service and an atmosphere of authentic Persian culture and hospitality look no further. Simply put AMAZING!!
Have been coming to this culinary delight for many years and they only keep getting better! The flavors of Persia are absolutely delicious and are combinations of rice with meat, vegetables and nuts. Herbs are also frequently used in conjunction with plums, pomegranates, quince, prunes, apricots and raisins to create the unique flavors of Persian food. If you've had Persian food before then you'll be very happy and satisfied with Kababi Cafe, and if not then get ready to tantalize your palate with the culinary wonders from this region of the world that date back many centuries and will surely leave you wanting to come back for more! They have a weekday buffet that offers a little bit of everything and also a belly dancing show every Saturday night.
Delicious, every single time ! 😋👍👍 My Daddy is from Iran and he says this is legit, authentic Persian food ! 👌 We've been coming here for years and took a break because of the pandemic, but that didn't stop us from doing carry out or delivery ! We recently dined in again and nothing has changed, still great food, great people, and great atmosphere ! We highly recommend this restaurant ! P.S. Buffet is soooo good ! You basically get to try everything. 😋
I’m visiting from New York and WOW… this was hands down the best Persian food I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The kebabs were juicy, the saffron rice was so aromatic, and even the appetizers were incredible. The adas polo was amazing! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had such a warm, chill vibe. I’ve had plenty of Persian food in NYC and Chicago, but nothing even comes close to this. If you’re anywhere nearby, you HAVE to try this spot, you won’t regret it!

I came to Kababi Cafe for Sunday buffet last week and it was okay. The atmosphere and service was a 10/10. Very friendly staff and they were attentive. The place is large so you don't feel overwhelmed and had a lounge type feel since there was a stage for live music. The buffet items weren't bad but they weren't great either. A bit more variety would make it excellent. They had prepared salads, Cesar and garden but the Cesar salad wasn't dressed and didn't taste like Cesar salad since it had tomatoes but it was tasty. The chicken salad needs seasoning. It had seasoning but you couldn't taste it. The veggies were very nice but it would be helpful to label which ones were pickled and which ones weren't. There was mint and radishes but as a non Persian, I have no idea which dishes those accompany. The hummus and pita bread was 10/10 and the grape leaves were the best I ever had. They had falafel pizza which was dry and over cooked. 😕 The waffle fries were yummy and the beef dishes (beef in green sauce and beef in split peas) were excellent. The carrot rice was tasty but the white rice was my favorite. The chicken was very moist and delicious, but had no gravy. So adding some sort of gravy would be good. I ate it with the grilled tomatoes. The lentils were okay, but not stellar. Perhaps a soup instead would be nice. My absolute favorite was the minced beef kabobs. I forgot the exact name but it was 10/10. I added a white sauce and it was stellar. The hot food items were NOT hot. They were warm to lukewarm. The buffet station needs to stay heated because it probably would have made the food taste a lot better. The desert table needs help. The fresh oranges and cantaloupe was the sweetest I have had in a long time, but the cookies were overdone and the pistachio pastry has no filling. The homemade cake was delicious but could use a sauce since it was on the drier side and the puff balls with the rose water cream was good. There is a yellow rice pudding that they make that was delicious but the rose water flavor was a bit much after a few bites. Overall it was a 3.5 out of 5. Just making the food hot would make it a solid 4. But service was stellar so it will be an overall 4 out of 5. I left full and was very happy I came to try the food.
It was my first Persian buffet experience in the North America. (The buffet is a rare thing) A great choice for the new year’s Eve. I loved it. I ordered teas after the buffet and it was worth it as well. The service for the buffet was great and fast. (And the gratuity charge for it was already in the bill)
Delicious Persian cuisine. DDD on 10/16/20. It will be interesting to see how DDD changes the place. We had the tender lamb shank and the outstanding pomegranate chicken with special raisin rice (+$5). This is not your average middle-eastern restaurant, enjoy the unique ifferences of Persian quisine. Belly dancers on the weekend. Small market in the restaurant, Baklava for the gifting season.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the food — but that’s about it. As a Persian from D.C., I’ve been searching for an authentic Persian restaurant in Florida for years. This one looked promising online, but walking in, it felt more like a mixed lounge — Spanish music playing, a concert on TV, and nothing about the atmosphere felt Persian. The food was fresh and delicious, no complaints there props to the chef. But the service was awful. Our waitress seemed completely out of it, ignored basic requests (like spacing out dishes), disappeared for long stretches, and never once checked on us. Thankfully, male Servers that were bringing the food out of the Kitchen noticed and stepped in to help with water and our bill. Even you can tell they were so confused searching for our waitress. And the most unfortunate thing is she was Persian. I’m Persian she my Persian Tatoo. She complimented, not saying that I should’ve received top up service, but it just wasn’t up to par. This was yesterday around 5 PM The American server was so attentive to her guest, but even my partner recognized it. Bottom line: great food, terrible service, and not a good experience. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
We always came to kabibi cafe. As being one of the best Persian foods in south Florida. Lately these last few visits. Food has not been as good and service has been non existent. Restaurant wasn’t busy at all and they never checked up on us or came to clean the tables after the appetizer. Most likely won’t be returning
The appetizer was cold and the bathroom was horrible. I was embarrassed when the person I took there had to use the restroom and she was horrified with the condition of the bathroom. Really embarrassing. The management needs to DO better
I came here for a buffet with my family. The buffet was 27$ per person, and the menu was very limited, with only 10-15 items. We waited for the food to restock for a very long time, and it was frustrating. The dessert options were also very limited with only one cake and a few biscuits. I'm very disappointed with the experience. It's not worth it.
Buffet was okay, selection is a few and will not fit everyone pallet, more salads than anything else. If you’re a vegetarian this is probably best for you. The meat selection is 3 dishes. For the price of the buffet vs food selection is not worth in my opinion, you can get more value for your dollar elsewhere. Service could’ve been better but they were focused on other things apparently than the table they’re serving. Decorations were nice but doesn’t make up for the food. Plaza also has a lot of pot holes so be careful when driving. Will not recommend this place.
We visited for a special family occasion, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. They call themselves a "fine dining" establishment, yet there wasn’t even a tablecloth on the tables. The hostess was arrogant and rude, offering excuses instead of making any effort to accommodate our reasonable requests. The drinks were overpriced, and for a Saturday night, the atmosphere was dull and uneventful—there was not dance. We had high hopes of enjoying a memorable evening, but sadly, we left feeling let down.
Waiter was dishonest and pretty pushy to the point of it being uncomfortable. Made comments on how we asked for clarification for an appetizer to kinda force us into getting it. Then said that they could substitute the kabob in the dish for steak, which she recommended because it’s better and everyone does it. But forgot to mention it was an extra 30$. When it came to dessert, she kinda made people not ordering dessert feel guilty for sharing with those that were. So the bill would be higher. Taste wise, hummus and appetizers was nothing to be mentioned, kinda eh. But the chicken in the main dish was the winner. Not even the well-done slices of steak. Dessert was okay. Ambiance was nice though and the belly dancer did a great job. However, probably will not return due to the waiters behavior and antics.
Idk what times they are busy. But everytime i go there i have to wait 30+ minutes and there is no one in the resturant only to be told item not available? Like what?
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly disappointing. The food was not fresh or flavorful — definitely not worth the high prices they charge. Even the rice was poorly done; instead of real saffron, they just used turmeric, which made it taste cheap and look unappetizing. Everything else was bland and poorly prepared. If you’re looking for good food or value for your money, I suggest going elsewhere. This place was a letdown.
I checked their hours on Google and saw they were open until 9 p.m., but they were closed when I arrived. When I called, they told me it was their holiday. It seems they have no regard for people's time.
Over all terrible experience.. Service was terrible and food was a joke. The only authentic item is the kebab but that’s about it. Not sure how you mess up rice but they surely did. I dont write a review like this because sometimes it’s just a bad night but I won’t be back and definitely don’t recommend this place at all. Maybe don’t tell your customer you burned the rice and have to remake it and take an hour to cook kebab next time.
We went to eat after seeing decent reviews about the place, our server was very nice but when we saw TWO FULL SIZED COCKROACHES roaming in the dining area- our food was here by then but we completely lost our appetite and decided to leave. It was very disappointing to see that they didn’t even bother to compensate us. This is a clear hygiene concern. I wonder what the condition of their kitchen will be like.
A terrible and embarrassing experience. The food was old and not fit to eat, and the type of fat used was extremely poor and seemed spoiled, making the taste disgusting. The kebab was completely burnt and bitter, as if it had been reheated. This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever tried—a total waste of money and time. I will never return and do not recommend it at all.
Very concerning experience. There was no soap in the bathroom. When I asked an employee for soap, she gave me dish soap poured into a hand-sanitizer bottle. I didn’t realize it was dish soap until I smelled it — unfortunately, I had already used it to wash my baby’s hands and mouth. When I complained, the employee said, “It’s to wash hands, not mouth.” That is not an acceptable excuse. In a restaurant, people wash their mouths, faces, and children after eating. Dish soap is not safe for skin or mouths, and putting it in a sanitizer bottle is misleading and dangerous. On top of that, the food did not taste fresh. This is a serious hygiene and safety issue. I would not recommend this place, especially to families with babies or young children
