We live in Sunrise for a year now and we finally made it to Kings Head British Pub! We ordered some beers and food and it was great! It reminded us of the food&beers back in England. It was so good that we decided to order some food to go for our kids. We all loved it! We will definitely go back soon. The service was good as well :)

Truly a hidden gem! Food was great, felt like I was having a home cooked meal while we got to watch the football game ⚽ the dessert pudding was also delicious. I can't wait to go back to try more dishes. And! They have a corner market where we bought some imported goods! Would totally recommend.

Found out about this place while searching for restaurants in South Florida that serve poutine (sadly, there are not many). To say the least, their poutine is quite spectacular (and so is the sticky toffee pudding)! Great bang for buck! I'll definitely be back!

What’s comfort food to you? For me, it is any meal accompanied with a certain environment that reminds me of home. Home to me is Leicester, England, where I was born, and King’s Head British Pub in Sunrise gives me that much needed comfort. It is England nestled into a cozy space. Today my husband and I had the Almost Famous Fish & Chips. The fish is battered Haddock served with tartar sauce, a wedge of lemon and a healthy serving of chips aka fries. As sides, we had the Mushy Peas and Cole Slaw. That’s one heck of a lovely meal. For beverage, my husband had a draft Guiness. I had Heineken zero. They have a large selection of lager, domestic and imported. For dessert we had the Sticky Toffee pudding, served with ice cream. We savoured every last bit of it. Yum! This is my favourite place in South Florida. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. I don’t get to visit often, but damnit, I must!

I recently visited the King's Head Pub and was thoroughly impressed by their food and drink selection. My favorite dish was Sarah's steak and ale pie, which was cooked to perfection and had a rich, savory flavor. PHENOMENAL pub! First time there and brought my mom but she’s not mobile so we ordered to go. Andrew is great and was patient while my elder mom couldn’t figure out what to order because there are so many great options. It’s all authentic and she got the fish and chips forgot course and she crushed the entire platter within minutes! Little gem in Sunrise. Walk in and you immediately feel like you walked into a London pub with all the authentic fare. Will be back to enjoy more of the food.

The food is so delicious. Literally the best fish and chips and best poutine I've ever had. The shepherds pie is so delicious too! I ordered it twice in one weekend, that is how good the food is. The staff are all very friendly, I even accidentally left my debit card behind and the bartender called me back immediately to let me know it would be kept in the register until I was able to pick it up. Great service , amazing food. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

My husband decided to have his bday dinner here. We were expecting to have fun, probably good food. The food was amazing, clam chowder is definitely the best any of us have had. Fish in chips, again better than anywhere else around. I had the specials chicken mushroom pie and a ground beef and lentil soup so delicious. Our new bff Liz helped us and she was so cheerful, funny, and very efficiently working the room. We are already in the planning stages of renting out the party room for our next family gathering. My daughter said she was sad we were just now trying King’s Head after living in Sunrise for 3 years.

Everyone was so nice and friendly from the time I stepped onto the sidewalk. With the other guests (the two ladies sitting on the bench outside) waiting to be seated, to the beautiful couple (whom were intown from the apple) that was sitting at the high top table at the door and the male host/waiter that was walking around everywhere and then to the really neat and kind hostess/barmaid (I think her name is Paula (if, I remembered wrong, I apologize)). Last but most certainly not least, the food was awesome!!! The deliciously cold green beer, their famous fish, and chips (which was so good, I bought 2 more dinners to take home), and their beef stew (which was a tad bit salty) but was still very delicious. I will definitely visit there again. Thank you for all the attention and for making the first impressions a lasting one for sure. Applause, applause, 2 thumbs up, and a raised hands for much deserved praises.

Hands down the best British pub in S Florida. Everything on the menu is great and authentic. I don't usually go for soups but their soup of the day is always amazing. The beer is very cold (just wish they had more Fuller's options!) The service is good, even though there is usually only one server/ bartender running around.

If you’re looking for an authentic British pub, you don’t have to go looking anymore. The Kings Head Pub in Plantation is a amazing home wall. The food is excellent, including fish and chips, Royale with cheese (cheeseburger), and any of their pies.

Kingshead is great. If you have been to England you know. A real pub feel. Decent tap selection with a cask draught beer on tap. Pretzel and beer cheese is my go to app.

Very cozy British pub. I'm not Btitish but I heard the Guiness Stout was particularly exceptional. I heard that from a Scottish gentleman who was working at Total Wine in Coral Springs. He did not lie. From the tap, it was smooth creamy and rich, just as he had said. By far the best of such, that I've ever had. The fish and chips was also pretty good.

Wha?? A neighborhood Brit style pub in Lauderhill? Yep

Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The most authentic British pub we’ve seen since our visit to Bristol. A huge selection of lagers and a solid menu of British favorites has kept this place on Anglophiles’ and homesick expats’ lists of places to frequent. Of course excellent fish and chips with house made tartar sauce. I had the chicken tikka on salad which was delicious! Had to chuckle at the dry British humor on display. A good time was had by all!

One of the few bars open on Xmas day and it was a real treat, sitting outside watching the world go by over a few local craft beers was just the little break we needed in the afternoon. Very characteristic little joint in the heart of sunrise.

Went next door for my haircut but the barber was busy, so figured I'd get a bite at the pub. Several times in the last few months that I've been in the area it pops up as a highly rated eatery. I'm not that into British cuisine but figured all of the reviews must have some truth. So glad I tried it. The clam chowder was one of the best I've ever had. Had to also try the staples, Fish & Chips and they did not disappoint. Everything tasted so fresh, flavorful and with just the right amount of seasoning. The tarter sauce was homemade too. Phenomenal Atmosphere. Phenomenal Patrons. Phenomenal Host. Phenomenal Food. This is probably the best English Pub I’ve been too since going to a Crystal Palace Pub in South London.

Cozy place where you can have a pretty de ent meal and a few beers and ales you won’t be able to find in many other places if any. People are nice and friendly and the regulars are all top people. Atmosphere in general is both cool and relaxed , though it used to be much much better before Covid, when every Friday and Saturday there was superb live music. Then it was truly unbeatable. Maybe one day the owner will bring the live music back. Fingers crossed.

We went there for a Mother's Day lunch. It was fantastic. Most of us got the Fish & Chips. It was amazing!! Crispy, light and tasty. Another got the Steak & Ale pie (beef stew type pie) and it was also great!! Had an appetizer of Poutine which includes cheese curds. It was delightful 😋 Definitely would recommend and I will be back!

Hands down, this is the best pub in the area! The food is delicious, the service is always on point, and the atmosphere is just unbeatable. Even though I live nearly an hour away, it’s totally worth the drive every time. The cozy English vibe and thoughtful decor make it feel like a little getaway. By far my favorite pub that's not in the UK. They have an excellent team working here and it's a favorite spot for locals. It's a bit of a drive from where I live but it's worth it because I've never had a bad meal, and the beer selection is very good. Just wish they would bring back the mushy peas!

First time stopping in after driving by it everyday. Took a while to get a menu even though it was not busy, but once I got that, it was smooth sailing from there. Food was good and I like their selection of beers. Will be going back for sure.

We held a memorial party for my father this past weekend and everything about it was perfect. Jeff was on top of everything for us including renting us the back room, maintaining covid protocols, scheduling food, handling drink tickets for our guests and consistently following up to check on everyone. The food and drink were flowing and everyone had a fantastic time. It was a time none of us will forget, thank you Kings Head!!

What an incredible little place! We just stopped in for lunch and had a fantastic meal. We had the Fish Sando and the Beefeater sandwich and my god, they were both incredible. The food came out very quickly and was still very hot. The place was very busy, but the server was really working hard and was super polite as well. Can't wait to go back!

Been coming to this place since 2010. Very quaint and chill. The food is delicious and the beer fresh. Now that I don't live in the area anymore, I make an effort to get a beer when I'm in town.

It's a nice pub, I've going there for a while now. I am not Brithish but my boyfriend is and he likes Guinness! Their menu is not big. We love their fish & ships ( excellent) and their clam chowder is very good. The staff is very nice they get to know you very fast so when you visit they already know what you're drinking, I give them a 5 f or that one. Today we had chicken wings and they are very good as well. I recommend this pub

A more traditional type of English food ,was impressed with the sausage roll , the golden crispy pastry on the outside with a rich flavor of sausage in the middle , it certainly was a good appetizer. For entry I had the steak and ale pot pie , it was flavorful. Definitely recommend to give it a try!

Really welcoming pub with a shop attached. Their full English breakfast is great and super filling. Tons of beers are available including drafts, cans, and bottles. There’s a sizable menu with British classics and pub food. Friendly service, clean restaurant, and delicious food.

A classic British pub in Sunrise. I'm a regular and I love coming here for a pint of Guinness and a steak and ale pie. Service is friendly and food is VERY good. They have a separate room for darts along with their main bar/dining room. Live music on Thurs-Sat. Definitely worth a visit. Great neighborhood place.

This is such a hidden gem in a Florida strip mall! Great selection of British and Irish draft (should I say draught?) beers, and the food was delicious. We had the Beefeater Sandwich and the Guinness Gravy Poutine.

Nice bar with good atmosphere. If I'm in the area I'd go again for sure. The good: Staff. Very attentive and nice. Food is super tasty, I loved the fish and chips: haddock and not cod. Draft prices very reasonable. Loved the British pub atmosphere- even staff and some of the clientele perpetuated it. The meh: Prices on par with Miami area. The bad: Wish there was more parking but kinda goes with the area.

Plenty of great beers and Ales to try and the BEST fish and chips around ! Great food, drinks ,and fun atmosphere for 30+ years.

What a delicious dinner! We’re a family of five with three kids under 13. There was something on the menu for everyone and it was all amazing and made from scratch. No cheap chain restaurant quality here. The beer selection did not disappoint and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going again if we’re ever back in south Florida and highly recommend.

I've been coming here for over 15 years, on and off.....this place is the meaning of consistency. Management doesn't know me, the regulars don't know me...I pop in and I pop out, I might not come back in for another year or so...but if I'm ever in the area like I was the other day, I make it a point in coming in. Their food is really good and authentic, the place is small and just what a place like this should look like. Great job on keeping in consistent Kings Head!

Wanted to reconnect with a friend I haven’t seen in years and this place was new to us both. It’s in a sketchy plaza but honestly the inside is clean and the bartenders both seemed to be authentic British women. Took about 5 min to order our first drinks, they don’t have anything besides beer and a couple wines so don’t go if you don’t drink those things. Overall didn’t mind the place though didn’t try the food.

The food was good but you could tell it was a fast food version, we were the only ones in place but the food came out quickly. Bangers and Mash was good but not enough gravy (came separate in a cup). Fair selection of beer. Definitely a place for some regulars around the bar as it got pretty rowdy.

I have always wanted to try fish n chips and an authentic British pub since I fell in love with my childhood crushes Harry Potter and David Beckham. I was so excited and it was DELICIOUS! The best battered/fried fish I have ever eaten! I finally got to fulfill my dream of trying an authentic British pub and I even got to catch a football (soccer) match. After reading about the fish and chips I decided to give this place a try. The fish was really good. The fries weren’t the best I’ve had, but they were ok. Nice place with nice people. I’d say if you’re looking for good fish and chips this place is authentic and delicious.

How could the fish and chips be nasty and fries weren’t cooked all the way, British people drink beer here do they tip? I’ll never go to Europe

Bar tenter was not very friendly. I was the only black person who walked in and he did not want to serve me. The patrons told him I was waiting but he still took his time to serve me. Until someone told him to serve me with great hesitation he did. Will never set foot in that establishment again very racist.

Google showed it as open.. was closed when I arrived to eat drink and watch the Sunday Night Game.. they need to update their hours. I was there Sunday the 26th at 8:05p and the chairs were up and lights were off.. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I recently visited the King's Head Pub for my birthday. The ambience of the place was great. Unfortunately, with me being an Eastenders myself I was not empress with CHIPS that was served with my fish& CHIPS meal. The fish itself was amazing. CHIPS completely BURNT and had an oven baked taste 👅to them. When I explained to the staff my chip was burned, the server (which was a woman) completely ignored my complaint and wanted to charge me for a new portion of CHIPS. “Cheeky woman” I must say they didn’t have a great choice of beer either. Overall, I had a bad CHIPS experience at this English pub. With new sever and a chief that don’t burn the CHIPS and cook with real potatoes, I will try them again.
