What amazing food from the pizza,handmade garlic rolls and entree’s to the wonderful cannoli! The restaurant was clean and the service was spot on, our server was very knowledgeable about the menu she also had a smile on her face. They have a kitchen that’s mostly open which is always a plus for me. They have been at the same location for over 30 years! I definitely highly recommend you check them out. You will be happy you did.

Family owned and operated - not a chain. Excellent food and the pizza is definitely NY quality - great taste, right amount of cheese, balanced sauce, and thin crust. Prices very reasonable. My family has been dining there for over 35 years. My sons always stop in whenever they come home.

When we sat down, some of the other customers were speaking Italian, so we figured this place must be good then. Loved the pizza and my wife had the chicken with artichoke, I think it was called pasta Giuseppe, and she really liked it. Our waitress was super friendly and she had our 7 year old help her go get our sodas.

Phenomenal service with a smile and absolutely scrumptious food every time I go. Absolutely a favorite spot of mine! I've dined in and gotten take out many times with nary a worry every time since they are always perfectly on top of their game. The eggplant Parm is a personal favorite.

Clean, safe parking. Our waitress, Christina, was really outstanding. You can tell this is an authentic, family style Italian restaurant. The food was made with premium ingredients and tasted great. Pizza was one of the best we have had around. Garlic rolls were perfect in every way - just enough bite, but not overwhelming. We just really enjoyed it!

Only regret I have is having not eaten a slice before driving home. It was hot and fresh but after a long work day and a 20-25 min drive home I just wanted to get home. I found you because of a review on IG by barstool sports. Grew up in NJ and haven’t been able to find good pizza down in Florida that compares to what I grew up on. Although I ate it cold (lol) it was amazing! Reminded me of being in NJ visiting my family. I will definitely be back to grab another slice and try some other items on the menu. And I won’t be waiting to get home before eating it next time! :)

Pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service. The veal marsala was delicious. My wife had the chicken fransace and really enjoyed it. The calamari appetizer was done just right, not rubbery at all. Will definitely eat there again.

Family restaurant and great value. Try the pasta bean soup - it's great. The pizza is consistently good; I like fresh tomato and basil. The menu is very generous; everyone should be able to find an entree they like. The price is right and the whole family will be happy (except for that one grouchy relative we all have!).

An absolute gem of a neighborhood Italian restaurant! My Veal Marsala was excellent... and remarkably well priced! The garlic knots are excellent and the Caesar dressing is very similar to my own homemade version... which means I loved it!

I've lived in the area for 45 years, and have never been here before. The pizza I just got done eating there was AMAZING!! I had the margherita pizza with red sauce, which has ricotta on it. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed pizza as much! Usually other places will make it with those toppings, but it's always too difficult to pick up the slice. This was a perfect pizza! I will most definitely be back!!

Came on a Friday afternoon and the food was banging! We ordered buffalo wings with a large pizza, half pepperoni and half cheese. It reminded me of the pizza from my childhood in L. I. NY. The waitress Josephine was lovely and kind too! Keep up the great work.

Jacaranda is a family style atmosphere waitresses are very friendly and waiters too. Food is great. Comes out nice and hot and I think they’ve been there since 1978. They’ve been there a long time I’ve met the owners and if you come in often, they’ll know your name. Good food, family atmosphere.

I'm originally from NJ and feel I have high expectations of what good pizza should taste like. I've been living in Plantation for over 20 years and finally after trying Jacaranda Restaurant & Pizzeria for the first time recently, I realize I have found the BEST PIZZA in Broward County. It brings me back to the flavor, smell and texture I love. Wish I tried this place much sooner! Additionally, their prices are reasonable. Another pizza place close by changes double for the same large pie with mushrooms and it s not nearly as good. I will be back to Jacaranda Restaurant & Pizza!

We have dined in and had delivery. The food is excellent with generous portions. The atmosphere has a friendly, down-home feeling, and the service could not be better. We've been in southern Florida for over 2 years now and are always on the lookout for 'new' restaurants. Jacaranda is definitely our new best Italian restaurant!

I have been living and working in the area for over 30 years and this was the first time eating here. Josephine was our waitress and the service could not have been better. Food was delicious and portions were more than I could eat. Lastly, the prices were very reasonable compared to many other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend that you visit this “old school” hidden gem.

This is a favorite pizza spot for my family. None of us live in plantation but when we meet for pizza, we travel here as our meeting spot. We are italian and picky about our italian food. They always make a great pizza, and we've never had a bad dish off the menu.

First time eating there. Pizza is amazing! Meatballs not so great. Only one server for about 6 tables, but she did the best she could. Just be patient if you go during lunch hours. Can't go wrong with their pizza.

This is a nice place to eat if you're in a hurry, also good food for a very fair price. Last time I had tortellini & my friend had gnocchi, both with pink sauce (kind of a vodka sauce). You cannot miss the garlic rolls!!!

The restaurant was clean, and a comfortable place to enjoy a nice quiet meal. The menu was varied, the staff was pleasant and attentive, and the portion were appropriate. The food was tasty, and served hot, in a timely manner. I was particularly impressed with the Antipasto for two. It was a large Antipasto, with many delicious ingredients, including olives, peperccinnos,various meats, and different types of greens. This was one of the Top 3 Antipastos, I have had in the area.

It's our go-to spot for pizza when in town. Never had a margherita pizza with white instead of red sauce before and it was great 👍🏾. Service awesome too...highly recommend

The restaurant itself is not clean, only tables. I ordered a set of garlic breads, which came tiny and a little rough on the bottom. Pizza was delicious, but our waitress took a long time and didn't ask if we wanted a refill or anything. We finished and asked for the bill she took another 20 minutes

I told her my neighborhood Italian restaurant that I'd been going to for years just closed down and I was in search of another Italian restaurant I could patronize. No response. I found it to be an unfriendly environment. I did notice the waitress being friendly towards an older (balding) man and figured he must be the owner (definitely not a customer) as he seemed to be overseeing. She actually smiled at him and was laughing, so I don't think she was just having a bad day. The decor was decent, but the coldness from the staff negated whatever the decor had to offer. I'm still searching for my next favorite Italian restaurant that is relatively in my area.

Food was good. Booth was cramped for 4 people. Greeting at table was very slow. After ordering drinks, it took awhile to deliver. Restaurant was not full but the wait staff were running around a little crazy. Food took awhile as well. We paid $60 plus for 2 people, so it was on the expensive side for what we ordered, but portions were good and brought food home. I will not be going there too often.

The food was awesome, service needs a little bit of adjustments. Highly recommend the calamari to start! We ordered it as appatizer but didn't receive it until we were half way through our meals. Our waitress was new but it solidifies the saying "you can either serve tables or just plain cant".

I ate here tonight for maybe the 15th time in the last year. The pizza is always decent and that’s hard to find in the area. The majority of the restaurant’s waitresses are lovely, but I can’t say the same about the one I had tonight. First, she gave us a hard time about including garlic rolls with my meal. Every other waitress throws them in but she didn’t want to. I wish the restaurant was just consistent about this one way or another. At the end of the meal, she tried to charge a sharing fee for ordering a big salad for the table before the meal. I told her we have made this same exact order every time we’ve been there and have never been charged a sharing fee before. To me, this is akin to charging a sharing fee for order an appetizer for the table. I know she felt like she was following rules, but that’s ridiculous. We didn’t ask for the salad to be split; she just did that on her own. As we left, she was complaining to the hostess about how other waitresses give free cannolis or wine and then said “let’s see if I got a tip” about my table because there were so many issues. While I did, in fact, leave the a tip the entire experience was honestly awful.

Pizza is great. Pizza guys have the personalities of cavemen who don’t speak. Terrible staff making food. If your staff is client centric you should move the pizza kitchen to the back.

Disappointed. First time back in a long while, but used to be a favorite restaurant. Server seemed annoyed we were there. I got the antipasto for one, which I have had several times before. The salami was dry, tough, and appeared old. Ham was just not anything I wanted to try. Garlic rolls were OK, nothing to write home about. My dining partner enjoyed her entree well enough but when I asked if she'd return, she said no. On the way to the restroom passed a small room that holds the Ice machine. In front of that was a bucket of dirty water. A dirty ceiling tile was broken and hanging loosely above the machine. Had I seen this prior to ordering and 6 would have left. The restaurant as a whole seems old and slightly dirty.

My first time here, out to eat with my little ones and this is what they brought out to my table. I’m not sure if this is just how they are but we do not eat burnt food. Update: they did replace our garlic knots. Although we did not eat them. THE GOOD WAS VERY GOOD! Lee was our server.

I’m not one to complain. I always start with this. However i do try and keep things truthful. I’ve been ordering from jacaranda for probably 4 years now but tonight might have been the last time. Unfortunately i was greeted by the pizza maker on the phone with “what do you need?” I don’t take things personally , however when i got there to pick up my food (pizza, spaghetti & meatballs) the pizza maker rolls his eyes at me when i give him the number. He didn’t say one word to me , i just paid and left. Shouldve known from the start, but got home and the pizza was toasted. I like a good undercarriage, but this… it was to much. Between the attitude , eye roll, and then the food. It just left a sad but bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, my time ordering from here is coming to an end. I miss it back when the owner was making the pizza’s , taking orders and smiled when people came in. Oh well… i guess I’ll go to little Mike’s and pay for an overpriced pizza there.

The pizza was great. The service was great. The rest of our meal, tortellini, ravioli, penne, different sauces on each, were all pretty bland. The garlic rolls were actually really bland. And the $ rating on Google is not accurate. It is comparable to other $$ restaurants. It wasnt a terrible experience, but we wont be back.

Years ago, everything was excellent! Genuine New York Italian cuisine, pizza, pasta, salads, etc. But now, only the pizza is edible. Everything lacks flavor. The dishes taste bland, sauces are watered down. Dishes are skimpy and seem hastily thrown together but cost a lot more. I truly loved this restaurant and am saddened by what it's become. I hope they change back to how they used to be.

I was beyond excited to try this place after rave reviews all over a Plantation FB group and constant recommendations. Finally tried. Maybe my fault for trying on a Friday night. Ordered 2 mediums and garlic rolls. Spent almost $50 and the crust wasn't all the way cooked on the bottom. They were crazy packed. Felt like the orders were coming in faster than they could fill so pizza was less cooked than it should have been. Will probably not return as the price is fair for amazing pizza, but not pizza dough with sauce and toppings.

Came here with my kid for some lunch. My kid had a baby pizza 🍕 which it was good, thin crust and crispy. I ordered the veal Parmigiana platter, I have to say…it sucked! They didn’t even mixed the sauce with the pasta, it was taken out of the boiling hot water, placed on the plate and marinara sauce on top, the pasta was so watery and the veal was ehhh…bland, soaked in sauce but still no flavor. The server was nice though. The kitchen gotta step their game up, they’re cooking with no love.

Bought a couple of slices here and the pizza is okay but the slices are really small. This isn't a regular size slice that you would by when you by pizza by the slice. For the owner. Pizza by the slice should come from a 20inch pie not a 14 inch pie.

Food is just okay. My husband and I had to wait for 50 minutes to get our “CARBONARA LINGUINE” and “CHICKEN GIUSEPPE”. The carbonara is literally “Alfredo” sauce with some bacon and onion. The chicken guiseppe was horribly WET! The chicken was swimming in the “sauce” or shall I say soup. This place is just MEH.

came a while ago, food was okay. decided to stop in today for a solo lunch, ordered a mini supreme pizza and it was not good at all. HUGE chunks of peppers and mushrooms. very very little of anything else. asked to switch (i ate one slice but didn’t want to complain. couldn’t continue eating it so then i did.) was told i’d still get charged but he’d give me a free cheese slice. poor service. wouldn’t return. also, pls add more garlic to your garlic rolls. they are simply oily rolls.

Super disappointed with Jacaranda pizza. We ordered a pizza and garlic rolls and when opened, we got pizza and a side salad. When called, they stated they can’t refund partial order and we’d need to come back for the rolls. They stated “we aren’t going to comp a pizza and salad just for missing some rolls” and “salad is more expensive anyways” (although we didn’t order it). So disappointed as we traveled all day and just wanted a pizza and rolls, and they can’t fix their own mistake without inconveniencing us again.

My fiance and I quite often order to food to go no matter who it is when you place the order everyone's so rude to take order but that's not it all. When you arrive this person doesn't only not ever Greets you with a welcoming attitude but is looking at you like he's doing you a favour. The owner gets on the phone, I wanted to share my bad experience and his answer was he was too busy to listen ?? Still insisted I needed to be Heard, he's like tying to brush me off the phone with yet an attitude. No wonder why that place is full of bad energy horrible costumer service if it starts from the top. Nos it all makes sense. You have lost a good costumer and I'm sure many more can relate to this. I'm never going back there. Soon enough will be out of business due to lack of good costumer service.

Let me just start by saying my family has been coming to Jacaranda pizza for probably 20 years. We visited last night with family in town. Two of us ordered dinner dishes while the other 2 ordered personal pizzas. The two dinner dishes arrived at 7:08 while the two personal pizzas did not arrive until 7:46. Obviously two of us were already done eating by the time the other two for their meals. We had a 1 year old with us so she was ready to go before the pizzas even arrived. At 7:20 we asked for a manager and by the time we left at 8:00, no manager ever came out to us. We were told “the manager is too busy right now”. Instead the manager sent a very young girl over who mouthed off to us once we expressed our unhappiness, then just walked away. The waitresses justified the delay in the meals by letting us know others have been waiting an hour 1/2 for pizza. We simply asked for the pizzas to be taken off the bill, to which they refused. As a matter of fact, they refused to do anything for us. We left there incredibly disappointed by the service and the lack of the managers concern. We order pizza from here ALL the time and we will never order or visit again. I hope the manager working on Friday 8/5/2022 is happy he/she lost lifetime customers business, simply because they couldn’t make an appearance to apologize for the inconvenience.

Don't waste your time or money coming here sad I have to post this review .. but watched a waitress put her bare hands in a huge bowl of salad and make 5 individual salads with her bare unwashed hands that I personally saw her handling plates from other tables just before that ... we ordered a salad as well 🤮🤮 however it came late and before it got to the table we asked to cancel it but she refused and still ended up bringing the salad 3 minutes later ( after waiting a solid 20 minutes for it) to top it all off .... as we were leaving a very Rude waitress told ours she deserved an Oscar (for dealing with us) This is absolutely disgusting and unfortunately we use to visit this establishment frequently ... (I just changed my review from positive to negative ) Hope this bothers you as much as it has bothered me and your consider bring your business elsewhere so you dont have to eat from a strangers dirty hands nor be mocked while leaving because we asked to cancel a salad that was extrenemy late not even to our table yet!

My fiancée and I have been patrons to this restaurant for years now, this is my last time here. There is a very rude waitress that works there and we had enough of her. We came more for the food and tolerated her poor customer service and lack of professionalism. We get better service from the a fast food drive through than from her. She is married to someone there, so maybe she feels that there’s no need to treat paying customers with respect, as she is guaranteed a job anyway, but we the consumers are the ones that keep the lights on. So many unemployed people, and she could care less about her job. Also, she constantly complains about her working there and how she needs a cocktail on the early hours of the day on several occasions. Also, she THREW our BURNT garlic rolls on the table like you would throw a bone to a dog, we couldn’t take her disrespect anymore, we went to speak to the manager, which made matters even worse!!! He didn’t care, nor apologized, we paid for our drinks because we are honest working people and do not seek freebies and left so upset! They do not care about you or your business!!! Awful!!! Do not chance it, reviews do not reflect the service you will get!

I have been driving by this place for a couple years and was always curious what it would be like. I decided to take my family for our Friday Pizza night to check it out. At first, it felt like a regular Italian american suburban restaurant, one of those that really tries hard to embody the tuscan feel but just ends up being a diner that sells bad pizza and cheap wine. On to the service, we were given a booth suited for children. Stuck in a corner without the ability to move because they use it for storage. Then our server came to rush us, about 3 times asking of we were ready to order. Then we ordered the pizza and it took about 45 mins - 1 hour to get two large pizzas which ended up being as tasteless as they can. The deluxe pizza was filled with what seemed to be canned mushrooms and other cheap ingredients along with burnt crust. The. The Margherita pizza suited for a hospital patient, absolutely no flavor. We each ate one slice and decided to ask for the check. They boxed up the pizza and thought it would be best to leave, no need to eat that. In conclusion, a very bad experience and very bad food. I wish them the best, first and last time here.

Your address is : 8283 W Broward Blvd, Plantation, FL 33324 Here is a screenshot of the video where you harassed a disabled woman over a service dog and laughed at her and you can see the doorway behind you "8283" i dont think this is the wrong place i think you are an aweful human and im surprised you're still open with how the community speaks of you Seeing videos of the owner making fun of and refusing to serve someone with a legitimate service dog as well as laughing and calling the cops on her ? Connected to the J bar for karaoke. Sign in j-bar says food till 10:00 and open till 10:00. Door is open between the two establishments, at 9:40 p.m. I walk in and I asked can I get food he says sorry we're closed. I told him four people wanted to order full meals and I walked out. I would never eat at this place again.

Very bad service. While we were eating the owner of the restaurant literally turned off the lights knowing that we were still eating and yelled at our waiter to get us out. The restaurant closes at 11p.m. And we were there at 10 and we were rushed and couldn't enjoy our food. I've never experienced something like this before, horrible service and will never go back again.

Why does the owner keep replying to negative reviews with "this isn't the restaurant, this is the bar next door"? This Google reviews page is for JACARANDA *RESTAURANT & PIZZERIA*, not J-Bar the attached bar. J-Bar has its own separate Google reviews listing. If he doesn't own the restaurant, just the bar, then how did he get access to the restaurant's Google reviews page here? And how is pretending this isn't the restaurant's page deflect blame off the restaurant? And why doesn't he "correct" anyone who gives the restaurant positive reviews, just the negative ones? (Spoiler: the same people own both businesses, which are not in fact two separate businesses, they are one business using two different names. They even use the same kitchen. The restaurant and the bar are registered as a single entity and file their taxes as a single business. I looked it up on Sunbiz.)

What a horrible place! They are rude to handicap people & don’t allow service dogs even though their sign says they do. Rude owner rude staff with gross pizza too!

I showed up 15 minutes before they closed and they would not allow me to order. Guy at the counter was rude and had no manners. This isn’t the way to act to your customers. I went to Stromboli’s pizza. They were nice. No attitude and honored their time of 10 pm. No reason to give an attitude. The sub at Stromboli’s was way better as well. Just because your have a neighborhood Restaurant that’s been there for a while doesn’t give you the right to be rude. I have been fount going there for over 20 years. Tighten up and be nice to the patrons in your neighborhood.

Apparently the conversation he was having with the other employee was too important to say nicely, “There is where you can grab the two cokes for the order”. Extremely unprofessional but then again he also had ear buds in so speaks measures.

Ordered the shrimp scampi. Very plain tasting. Pile of noodles with 6 shrimp for $24. Salad was lettuce, 1 slice of cucumber,, and one cherry tomato. Again very plain. Won't be going back here again.

Gotta be honest food was okay/good but the customer service is awful, extremely rude. ESPECIALLY the bald guy who makes the pizzas. never coming back.

Just this Saturday I took my family there and food, service and atmosphere was terrible. I usually order pizza with my salad. The pizza came out first with the other appetizers and I thought this was weird. I was hungry so I ate the pizza without my salad. I asked about my salad and said I didn't want it anymore. I got the evil eye from the waitress and she still brought the salad. Isn't the salad supposed to come before your meal? Anyway, while waiting for salad,I saw the other waitress walking in with a bag of groceries, taking about salad, so they didn't have salad? Waitress should have said something. I saw the same waitress that came from the market handling the salad with her bare hands without washing it prior. I also noticed that another waitress put the garlic rolls in the over also using her bare hands. The restaurant looked dirty and empty. I thought this was weird. Lastly, we paid and included a tip and as we were walking out one of the waitress mocked us by saying, she deserved an Oscar for dealing with us. I, my mother in law and granny had stomach aches after eating there that day. I'm definitely not going back. ****response to owner: You replied as Jacaranda Restaurant and pizzeria.
