PLEASE READ: this is not the same restaurant that it was a few years ago- the menu has changed and the owner does not have access to this google business profile to update it. The staff was very friendly but the menu is now basic American bar food and no longer Italian. The place was vacant on a Saturday night. They do have a beautiful waterfront view going for them. I honestly felt bad for the bar tender. I included a photo of the current menu to save your time.

Went for brunch and the food was spectacular. Thumbs up to Chef Mark Confessore. This place has a wonderful ambiance and waitstaff. I will definitely come again when I’m back in Fort Lauderdale.
Visited Oria a few weeks back and it was incredible. The ambiance of this hidden gem is great! The inside of the restaurant combines splashes of ocean with a modern-chic feel. Our serve was so attentive to our table and very interactive, even if we didn't know what to order he knew exactly what to satisfy our palate. Unfortunately we don't have photos, but it was so good we were licking our plates. The restaurant is tucked in the back of the hotel, so it takes a little time to find it, but wow! Come with an empty stomach. P.S. Order the table side mozzarella.
This restaurant is fantastic— everything from Walter’s service, the beautiful view, the fresh mozzarella made in-house & all of chef Ray’s wonderful dishes. It is evident that Chef Ray takes pride in his creations & strives to give his customers the very best experience possible. It is a little difficult to find, hidden inside the Residence Inn by Marriott, but it is well worth making a visit. Highly recommend!!
We were celebrating my friends’ special occasion on September 15th! Go there and you will never regret! Service is 5 star - they care about you; they would come and tell you if there is a delay in your order. Food is amazing and menu variety is rich! Try their mozarella cheese and 18 months old prosciutto - it is delicious! Max - manager of that place tries to approach each table himself and speak to each and everyone. Simply amazing service! Keep it the same way!
Wonderful restaurant directly on the Intracoastal with both inside and outside seating. The menu is a little limited but everything on it was very good. No one really knows about it because it is located in Marriott's IL Lugano and you wouldn't expect a hotel restaurant to be this good. It was a pleasant surprise!
Nice hidden jem. Food is cooked in a brick oven and comes out amazing. We all got an assortment of cheese and tomatoes and bread, and we were all impressed. Great view on the intercoastal. No line. Great prices. 100% recommend
A great new chef, excellent food, and an impressive wait staff make Oria well worth a visit. The restaurant is located on the intracoastal waterway in the Residence Inn/ il Lugano just north of the Oakland Park Boulevard Bridge. My wife and I each had the wood fired salmon which was topped with arugula pesto, and cooked to perfection by Chef Paul. The crispy fingerling potatoes were a welcome change from the mashed potato’s that most restaurants serve with salmon and the vegetables were out of this world. In addition to the fantastic water view, unlike other upscale restaurants on the water in that area, Oria has free valet parking for restaurant guests.
First time visiting and Walter took excellent care of us! super sweet guy and very attentive. food was great and the cheff was very considerate of the specific order we entered. amazing view and super friendly staff. definitely recommend
Thee friendly staff ever and the amenities were top tier! The pool party was alotta fun. Can't wait to actually book my stay here next week!
The staff of this qaint waterfront and poolside restaurant are acceptional at making you feel welcome and accommodated to. Manager Ryan and his staff are all smiles and are quick to assist guests with anything needed to keep them comfortable while enjoying a great meal prepared carefully and expeditiously by Chef Vincent. I had the avacado toast topped with smoked salmon. Definitely worth the calories! Every Saturday this summer there's been a Remixed Events DJ on deck from 11am to 3pm so make sure you stop by for some great food and drinks and fantastic entertainment. 5 stars accross the board!
I was fortunate enough to find this gem of a restaurant from a recommendation through a friend. The fresh warm mozzarella is a must and the braised short rib with pasta was as good as any that I have enjoyed in Italy. Outside seating is on the inner-coastal and with boats cruising by, its picturesque. Enjoy drinks and a great meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We tried to order coconut, shrimp, but they were out. We settled with burgers and fish tacos. We were cottage, surprised that the quality was there for both entrées. Didn’t love that our drinks came in plastic cups, but the food was fine. Would definitely pop down again for a quick dinner.
Cabe here to meet a friend that was hosted at the hotel. I liked the place, relaxing and quiet. The food is well made, tasty and well presented and, although I missed more options on the menu, I was really happy with my order. A delicious muzzarella with bruschetta-like side. The restaurante is beautiful, but if you seat outside you'll have a great view of the channel that flows right by it's side. Really special. I'd suggest having a dinner here, having a light meal with a few glasses of wine and enjoy the night.

The outdoor seating is comfortable, they have docking for boats. Jana was extremely helpful and we found her way more helpful than our waitress. The portions are large, the manager needs to update the menus they are printed poorly and are stained. The 4 star rating was for the outdoor seating. I think this place has alot of potential but needs attention to detail.

Emma, the bartender Rocks! Great drinks and personality! The kitchen now has a very limited menu but the few things I've tried have been good. No longer the innovative fab menu I read previous reviews about. This is now a late afternoon/ evening hotel bar offering a few salads, sandwiches and Flatbreads... tasty but nothing to write home about. Don't forget to tip your bartender! She's worth it!

Buyer be aware, I made my outdoor dining reservation through open table, as you can see in the photo. They confirmed my reservation with no possibility of outdoor seating, they said they had a table for eight yet the entire patio was empty. I called open table and they confirmed my reservation and I told them I would be allowed to make more confirmed reservations for outdoor seating, even though their was no space open. Open table said all they could do was contact the establishment and tell them not to accept those reservations. They at Oria Osteria offered a lame apology and I asked why accept outdoor reservations and waste my time??? They said they had a reservation for eight and couldn’t possible seat us. My dear friends from Canada came to visit us and did not have a chance to eat on the water a very important place to sit in Fort Lauderdale. I say don’t trust open table or this sad little place. In all my years when I have booked An outside table with open table or direct I have never had a problem. If the water views are important be sure to pass on their little scam, for sure.
Place is a catfish. Bill was WAY overpriced and food was not served as described. Outdoor area does not look like pictures online . The service fee was expensive and unexpected.
Disappointed with our experience for such a wonderful place. 5 of us were dining with drinks and our drinks took over 20 mins each time to receive (even though we were the only people there). Then we were rushed and our waiter kept asking to take our half eaten meals and half full glasses to close EARLY. We were told they close at 9pm but close early if no one was there. At 8:43pm we were rushed out because service wanted to close early. Incredibly rude & offensive. Such a shame for a quaint spot. We respectfully addressed this to service and they gave attitude.
Honestly it hurts me to write such a negative review. I was so looking forward to visiting this restaurant due to the high praise, however this was probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever endured. We made a reservation and upon arrival were not greeted by anyone and had to wait to be seated, yet the restaurant was dead slow. Once seated it took about 20 minutes for a waiter to arrive with drinks and a menu and another 15 to place an order. We got the margarita pizza as an appetizer, the waiter warned us it was hot, yet the pizza was lukewarm and the cheese had barely melted. After a bit more than an hour for our entrees to come out, my boyfriend got the burger (subpar at best) and I got the surf and turf (steak and shrimp with potatoes and veggies), I was livid. The steak I asked to be MEDIUM was as tough as tree bark and not light enough to be considered well done, the shrimp was rubbery and tough, my potatoes were unseasoned and basically wedge fries, and my veggies were stone cold. Thankfully the waiter took my meal off of the bill after a failed attempt at giving me sauce to moisten it up. We will not be returning to this restaurant. I just hope they fire the 5 year old cooks in the back who don’t know what they’re doing except ogling myself and other female customers and barely cooking food. I hope your experience isn’t as terrible as mine was. The only thing good about this was the view.
