Drinks and food was good. The shrimp Quesadilla was great. And my friends said the wings were good as well. The buy one get one free drinks were good. Bartender Tee was great. She works during the day.

Right on the beach with great music and fantastic staff. The food is amazing. I had the steak tacos and was blown away. The sauce that's provided is a bit spicey but flavorful. If you're in the area I recommend you check Rock Bar out.

Gigantic margaritas for $25 for 2. We ordered one each and it was hard to finish so next time I'd order one to share. The ceviche was huge as well. I think if you order margaritas then better without any snacks. I could barely walk, was too full from the huge portions. The staff very friendly and the service quick. Absolutely love this spot, been here many times over many years. This place is awesome. I dont even care how much it cost it is well worth every penny. Thank you for such great service. Ambience, vibe and everything across the street over viewing the ocean amazing. Our servers were wonderful thank you. Hookah was good lasted hours on 2/3 coals which was beautiful. Our fish bowls are amazing had watermelon, and mango and my friend knocked half of our fish bowl over so our waiter made us a very brand new one. We had a side order of corn, fries, quesadillas, and a whole red snapper so delicious ! Thank you guys. Definitely will be back for sure. I was loving life.

So, the place sells large daiquiri and margarita drinks in souvenir cups to take home They also sell regular drinks like this “old fashioned “the drink was so so. Arthur got the fish bowl size drink and it was equally mediocre. Th flood, was wonderful though. We both ate sushi raw. We liked it very much. We were not sick two hours after so yes I recommend the place but they hookah here. I don’t like hookah.

Trendy & cool "hookah" bar right across the street from the Lauderdale beach. Food was served quickly, and was very good for a quick bite. Had 3 tacos with shredded chicken with cilantro, spicy sauce, beans. My daughter had a platter with onion ring, fries, thick chicken strip and, nice size breaded shrimp🍤 Also had a huge veggie burger & fries. A bit pricey for beach food. Their specialty was these tremendous glasses (margaritas, pina colada, daiquiris and much more) buy one, get one free! @ $42.00 🍹🍹

What a beautiful venue! Right on the Fort Lauderdale beach! They have an amazing deal of 2 45oz margaritas for $35. I had the “fish of the day”. Today it was sashimi grade Grouper, I ordered it seared and blackened. It was accompanied with a fresh vinaigrette salad, rice, and potatoes. Just a beautiful experience. Great music. They have Hookah also.

This is my fav spot on Ft. Lauderdale beach strip! It’s is soo chill!! The music is great, always. The vibe, the staff the people- all great but NOTHING not even their huge cute drinks are as amazing as the EXPANSIVE OCEAN VIEW. OMG look at my pics!!!! WOW. Marcelo our server was so polite and excellent- always on time. Their bathrooms are clean their building is beautiful and I LOVE coming here every time. Their food is great their menu is diverse and we really enjoy coming here every time. Right on the beach strip.

The waitress who helped us was nice, so that made the service good. The food was delicious especially the bang bang shrimp. The drinks were just okay, could be alittle stronger.

Nice place with excellent food, the service staff are not in your face all the time which is nice for the most part. If you are the sort of person who needs immediate service all the time you may be disappointed.the only negative is they have a service charge which is beyond the tip.....and just talked to my waitress and dumped half of my review. The service charge is 15%, 5 percent of that does go to the restaurant the other 10 percent goes to the waitress. (Or waiter) From what she said the beach tourists are not great tippers and tend to shaft their waiters. Rock bar went from a 4 to a 5 in the course of writing this, so far I have nothing to complain about and will continue coming back.

Taylor at Rockbar is hands down the best bartender I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail is second to none—whether it’s remembering your drink order perfectly or making sure every cocktail is spot on, she delivers every time. I saw a video posted on Facebook and decided to check it out. So worth it! The steak nachos were super filling and tasty. The 45 oz Margaritas were even buy one get one free! The food came out fast as well as the drinks and they have indoor and outdoor seating. Try it!

Found this restaurant walking by beach and I Immediately notice the great vibes and sounds from their DJ. The bartender/waiter we had was so cool, and he recommended some great dishes that we loved!! They are known for their huge margaritas that we definitely couldn’t finish lol. I recommend this place for nice vibes, good music and awesome food..

We were down in Ft. Lauderdale for our anniversary. We were drawn in by the music. Drinks were good and huge. The food was good, especially the yellowtail tuna and the coconut srimp. Music was great and the crowd was so fun. Made a special night for us.

Amazing shrimp tacos! The drinks were big but not that strong... Tasty though. The hookah was smooth! The service was a bit slow but we enjoyed ourselves. Nice scenery. The music was ok. Would definitely recommend and come back. A bit pricey too!

I've been visiting for a month from Boston and must say Taylor has been amazing! This bar has a great view of the beach with parking right behind the building. I highly recommend stopping here for a great time and experience.

This place has a special space in my heart. I came to visit last week & it was my first time in 5 years. Food was good, hookah was ok (didn't last long) they use small coals. Service & drinks were great.

I came here during spring break so it was PACKED but there was vibes. The waiter came to us as soon as we got in and got our drinks super quickly. Though we had to pay before we got food, it all worked out in the end. The food was decently seasoned and very yummy! I will definitely be back!

Experience was awesome. Drinks are expensive. $17 for a Vodka club 😳 Food was great!!! Crowd was lit! Patio was perfect. Waitress was the best one there... she was a Brazilian beauty too!

Took a trip out to Fort Lauderdale, and had to stop here for old times sake!!! The food was ok, but I came for the drinks!! I had the mango margarita in the big glass👌🏾 well worth the stop! I also ordered the blackened salmon over a zucchini salad, yummy!

I have to say this place is nice, it may need a few adjustments like for example: - si would have love to dance while drinking my super big margarita and listening to that awesome music. But there are no high tables outside. So after we were done, we left. O that was a shame! There is a club inside but those days we were there it was empty. So as an Idea, people could dance outside as well. -The first night out as a group of 5 we had to chase our server, as he was never in out corner. The lady at the entrance seamed Aldo Not very interested in working and did not pay attention when we were waving. Anyways we had an awesome evening with what was available. -be carefuke when ordering Margaritas, they assume you want the big one. Always be specific!

This place has amazing vibes and really cool interiors. They play cool techno during the day, but the music at night is not that great. Also, the drinks are ridiculously expensive and they charge you double price for a drink at the bar on the dance floor. So, I got a screwdriver at that bar for $25, but the bar on the left side is less greedy… only $15 for the same drink

Enjoyed some delicious 😋 crispy chicken 🐔 here. My date did say he didn't taste any alcohol in his beverage of choice. I didn't taste any either in my drink, but the delicious 😋 chicken made up for that.

Drinks were DELICIOUS! Wings were good to my husband. Fish and chips were okay! All food was really fresh but the fish almost reminded me of “fish sticks or Mrs. Paul’s or Gorton’s”. Will definitely return!! BEAUTIFUL view and restrooms were clean!

Our experience was a great one however the only flaw was a particular female bartender kept serving an already drunk couple of people and there was no security to step in to escort the individuals out of the establishment,instead of putting the responsible patrons at risk, if security can step up for the safety of the patrons then management needs to. The DJ was on fire though.

This is a cool spot in Fort Lauderdale right across the street from Fort Lauderdale beach. The seating is outdoors, either at a bar or on the designated dining section. The inside is large and that's where you can dance the night away The DJ plays a nice variety of music that many can enjoy. They also offer hookahs of at least 10 different flavors that cost approximately $30. There is also a 45oz red or white Sangria that can be purchased for approximately $16. The food isn't bad either and the rates are reasonable. FYI though the restaurant/bar charges 15 percent to your bill for a convenience fee (which the waiter said is because they are located on the beach).

My experience was good and the vibe was nice and the DJ was pump. Security measures was intack I felt safe. However, organization is need at the front. If there is going to be a line the hostess need to indicate which line is for seating outside and which line for person going inside. Plus the server can introduce them self and tell us their name it makes things a little better, oh and the calamari was bad (you need to add flavor or something more to those calamari). My chicken finger and fries was good and the drinks was really good.

Nice location on the water, busy strip in the area. Service was lacking after initial order, hookah was $46 and $30 meals had no sides. Food was ok but not incredible. Has a huge night club area inside with dj booths and bars. Definitely one of the scenes for going out on a busy night in Fort Lauderdale.

We’ve visited on many occasions and jumbo drinks are a must! The food is average, but tastes much better about half way through your jumbo drink. The tables and benches need refurbishing but it does have a great atmosphere with awesome views and we visit every time we’re in town. I’d recommend

The food here is great, and the drinks are tasty, but this place was dead each night I went to it. It’s the “Rock Bar” but it’s most commonly just loud club music on full blast. They could at least play a mix of rock music or something to be true to their theme. I’m not sure who makes the decisions regarding the music selection here, but perhaps they should re-evaluate.

Drinks were ok. It was a slow night when we're were there. We had the sampler appetizer. Shrimps were very good. Onion rings too. Chicken was ok. The 2 for 1 margaritas were kinda week. I had the strawberry wife had the sour apple. Mine was good. In the sweet side. She said hers was very sour. All in all good. 3.5 stars only because it was kinda dead but we left around 9pm that's why.

Food was great! But it took our waiter an hour to even get our order to us. They had other employees just standing around while we were waiting for our food and check. It was pretty early and hardly anybody was there yet to eat. It was my last day of vacation so it definitely was aggravating that I had to wait so long. We were there for over 2 hours and it took us maybe 15 minutes to eat.

DJ SUCKED on VDAY. Pleaseee fix it and this place would be great. Play dancing jams nobody wants to hear techno all night or the beginning of a good song for it to end up being another song that nobody even LIKES! Let the songs play !

Came to rock bar with my partner. Bought two drinks which were decent and a plate of nachos .. way too expensive . Drinks were suppose to be buy one get one free and everything was $100 . How ? Music was too loud but the atmosphere is nice ofcourse , if you care to be by the beach and people watch

Don’t really have much to say about the rock bar, I had a IPA (can’t go wrong with craft beer lol) , I also had some chicken nachos, the nachos were okay, loved the outside seating so that you can enjoy the weather and people watch 🤣🤣

Will NOT RETURN!!!! I came to this location before a storm was threatening in the area. The hostess sat me at a high top table right away. 10 minutes passed and I thought, "Okay, maybe someone will come soon." 20 minutes passed, and still no waiter/waitress & no acknowledgment. I walked back to the hostess and requested a manager. Then, of course, i look like the bad guy! What made me very bothered was the fact that others sitting in the same area received service but me and another patron. One worker told me there was confusion due to the rain. I said when I was seated, it was not raining. Therefore, that is not an adequate reason to leave me sitting there for 30+ minutes before someone ever came to my table. Do a better job with your customer service, and don't make inadequate excuses! Thank you, Billy, for your assistance! You allowed me to update my overall rating from one star to three!

If you want to dance on Fort Lauderdale Beach ... This would be a fun place... I was sitting by myself with a drink and a hookah ... The hookah by far, was not the best I've had. The flavors and Shisha brands are limited to I believe Al Fakher and Adalya. Seems like only one person knew anything about Hookah... But I watched them make some big mistakes to someone else's Hookah ... Essentially making it end way quicker than it should have.

I had high hopes for this place as I have always wanted to come here. The food was great and their big drinks are two for one which is great but I drinks weren't all that. Also the hookah flavors aren't all that good or at least the berry and strawberries and banana ones weren't for us. Also they play great music BUT they also have a DJ for next door and if you are sitting to close to the other side you hear both sides of music which in my case gave me a headache.

2x1 jumbo drinks are too expensive. Beer bucket tastes like water. Also, why plastic cups for draft beer?! That’s horrible. You are keeping the credit card all night (even though it’s Monday the place is empty and we are sitting in a table) so you could serve beer in real pints… it makes all the difference. Waiter came with the bill we checked it and it was ok (expensive but ok) when we pay with the posnet, they charged us a different table. Honestly we didn’t notice, the waiter did, who came a few minutes ago, asked to se our ticket and explained the situation. So he cancelled the first payment and we had to pay again for the correct one. The problem with this is that the money doesn’t go back to our account instantly. We have to wait and see… M

This place could be really nice and the artwork is cool but it is always so dirty and smelly. Especially the women's bathroom and the outdoor pool area. The bathroom is always trashed and all the toilets broken/no toilet paper/ filled with diarrhea everytime I have went here no matter what time of day afternoon or evening. So it's impossible to stay and hang out there. The pool smells so bad because it's by the dumpster so it always smells like garbage back there and it is really hard to make it enjoyable. I wish they would clean up the place so eating and drinking there could be more tolerable. I think the food and drinks were half decent for a bar.

Good fresh food very pricey but I guess you’re probably paying for the ambiance and location. Buy on get one is not that great of a deal when the drinks are $24.00 for one. Overall it was ok but I probably would not go back. Tip was already included and our total for apps two beers and coffee was 240.00. Way too much for what we had. I could have went to meat market and had a three course meal for two for three price. Our beer spilled because of the spaces in between the table and the server said he would bring us another.. he did.. then added it to our bill!!! Really!!

Very over priced!! 2 burgers, nachos, chicken tacos, calamari, and wings.. oh and BOGO margaritas.. a $90 meal at best came out to $151 including the $22 service charge. Def not worth it, even with the view.

We were walking the beach and decided to stop in and get a drink before we had to get back on the water taxi. I ordered a pina colada which was a pre-made drink and calamari. The bar tender wasn't all that friendly, the drink was mediocre for $25 and the calamari was severely over cooked and hard. I spent $50 on the worst drink and food I've had in a long time. I can't believe this what they are offering to people. The only thing I liked was the decor.

Wasn’t very impressed. The nice part was that it was right by the beach. Or if you want the jumbo margarita and don’t mind paying $40 for it, this might be the spot for you. Service was slow, there was no soap in the bathrooms, and food wasn’t the greatest. They advertised 2 for 1 margaritas but didn’t have prices in the menu. Come to find out, $38 if you want one and $41 for two - each 45 ounces. Didn’t seem like the best value.

I ordered the jumbo sex on the beach which was watered down and Steak Fajitas. Usually when I order Fajitas from other places it is VERY hot and fresh, these were not fresh at all, I also had more peppers/onions (which were cut very large) than small cuts of steak and the steak had no flavor at all. Very disappointing!

I've came here around February this year, I had a good time the server was nice and all. The bathroom was dirty, the food waiting time was a good 30-35 minutes. I went back last month and man oh man. The bathroom was super dirty but the lady in there was super nice, the music is loud and it’s not some good music you can vibe to. Outside was very crowded, our server was nice. The food wasn’t that good both time I came here. The chicken wings was the only thing that tasted good. The pina coladas I order was very watery I asked one of the servers can they change it for me she went and just added alcohol to it, the drink was more watery full of alcohol taste bitter the drink was just nasty, they still charged me for it it me it. The bill was a lot I was surprised because we did not order a lot of food. This is just an overhyped place for no reason, to be honest.

Horrible experience! Last night I decided to visit rockbar again as I have been a loyal customer for over a decade. When I arrived it wasn't the same, the booths were gone and the staff was soooo rude !!! Online the hours said till 4 am but we hadn't even finished our food and we were being told to leave. Two different security guards came up to us to get us to leave without even paying for our bill. When our bill came they sneakily tried to charge us for 4 drinks instead of the buy one went on free and we had to study the bill and ask several times before they realized their "mistake" we weren't even there for 30 minutes and they were trying to slap us with a 300 dollar tap. The table next to ours was complaining of a similar situation but they did not care. NEVER coming to this establishment EVER again and telling everyone on my socials to stay very far away from this scam

Prepare yourself for a culinary disaster of epic proportions! Picture this: a night out at the infamous Rockbar, known for its legendary music and vibrant atmosphere. However, my excitement quickly turned to dismay as I ordered their wings. The disappointment was so profound that I couldn't help but compare them to a distant memory of better food. The wings that emerged were nothing more than sad remnants hastily thrown together, as if they were an afterthought. It was as if they had simply grabbed a bag of frozen Tyson wings from a bulk store like Costco. To make matters worse, they weren't even cooked properly, leaving them strangely raw and tasteless. They touted these wings as "build your own," but it felt like a cruel joke. The sauces on the side wings were barely fried, lacking any crispiness that makes wings truly irresistible. And when it came to choosing a dipping sauce, the options were limited to a confusing and mismatched combo – a so-called "Mexican" wing with a Thai chili sauce. The disappointment and betrayal were palpable. As if that weren't bad enough, the incompetence of the waiter added further frustration. When I inquired about the beer selection, he seemed clueless and couldn't even name what they served. Instead of trying to find out, he simply brushed us off, claiming they only had one IPA. It was an absolute joke of a dining experience at Rockbar. The tasteless wings, the sauce debacle, and the uninformed waiter left me vowing never to return. This dining disaster is a tale of woe that shall be told for generations to come – five out of five will not dare to eat there ever again.

My wife and I loved people watching. The music was good. Wait staff was nice. But, we ordered chips with salsa and guacamole and a “241” margarita. I don’t drink and she only had 1.5 margaritas over the course of a couple of hours. About 3 hours later at home (no other food or drinks), we’re so sick. Feels like cross contamination, maybe raw meat on a cutting board? I get that things happen and whatnot, but with how packed this place gets given its location, food handling has to be a number one priority. No exception. Rock Bar, if you’re reading this, please double check your kitchen!

So I see why I stopped coming here. I went here 2days ago and I still can’t believe the customer service, it’s even worse now. It took over 20 mins before a waiter came to greet us not only for him to take another 20 mins just to come back to take our order. The food was ok nothing to brag about but the drinks are strong and they have hookahs. This was definitely my last time and the fact that the bathrooms were disgusting they didn’t even have soap and and missing toilet seats was the last straw for me .

I've never come across an attitude as bad as the bartender Vivi. She literally rolled her eyes every 5 seconds because she thought she was hot stuff, which she is not. When I spoke with the "manager" Nicole, she told me I could move if I wanted to. She didn't correct the rude server's behavior, but instead asked the customer to relocate. Mind you I was literally the only customer there. The last time I was here there was throwup all over the bathrooms. I would recommend The Elbow Room, Blondies or Cafe Ibiza for better service and higher quality people. I would avoid the bartender Vivi like the plague. She is extremely unprofessional and rude. The throwup covering the floors was beyond disgusting.

Cool bar with a chill environment. Went with a party of 4 and were seated fairly quickly despite it being a Saturday evening. Drinks were pretty good and the margaritas for the price of 2 for $27, were worth the price. My biggest complaint was the service. We had to wait a while before our orders were taken. We had to ask our server multiple times for things before receiving them (I.e. waters, more drinks) and had to ask a different server for our check because we didn't know where our server was and had been waiting a while. Imagine our surprise when we got our tab with a 36% SERVICE CHARGE. For a total of 6 drinks for 4 people. Completely ridiculous. Do not recommend.

I was rushed out of the establishment by two security guards saying "were closed you have to leave NOW" (despite the hours online stating it would be open for another 2 hours) mind you I hadn't even paid for the tab or finished my food. the kept trying to give us to go containers but we ordered oysters and nachos, by the time i got home the food would be bad. my girlfriend was rushing to eat her nachos and even choked on a bite. RIDICULOUS experience! i have never been treated so subhuman at an establishment before.

Our recent lunch experience at this restaurant was a lesson in how a great location and good music can't make up for poor service and underwhelming food and drinks. The restaurant's fantastic view and lively atmosphere were certainly a plus, but the rest of our meal left much to be desired. From the start, the service was disappointing. Our drink order was wrong, and our server was largely absent throughout the meal. We waited a long time for her to check on us, and when the bill came, we had to chase her down to get our receipt. We took advantage of the two-for-one "mega drinks," a special advertised as 45 ounces each. Unfortunately, despite the massive size, the drinks seemed incredibly weak. At over $80 for just two of these poor cocktails and an order of average chicken nachos, the value was simply not there. The bill was also a bit confusing. A mandatory 18% service charge was automatically added, and the "special" was applied like a coupon.

Maybe he thought the price would run us off. He messed up our drink order then tried to argue as to what we said when he clearly was wrong. Food was subpar. Calamari was bland, bang bang shrimp were just friend shrimp just ok, and chicken wings were ok. Bathroom was absolutely disgusting. It was too early in the day for it to be smelling and looking that way. Toilet had no seat cover and from looking at the other reviews it's been that was for over a month. That's unacceptable and gross. Looks like a gas station outside bathroom. For them to automatically add an 18% gratuity on the bill is absurd with how $hitty the service was. I like to tip based on how well they actually did. Server disappeared and never checked on us. And clearly they don't care about service because they still get a hefty tip no matter what. I recommend staff customer service training and hiring someone to clean the bathroom regularly. View is awesome and drinks are strong but expensive.

Even our Uber drivers later confirmed this isn’t uncommon here, which is really disappointing. Prices should be transparent, not based on who you are or where you’re from. We expected a fun night, but instead felt taken advantage of. Definitely wouldn’t return or recommend.

Order was two Lomo Saltado; Taxes was 4$, service fee or tip 15$ that they refused to delete; so you guys employees refused to give a service but wanted to charge for the service they never gave. I cancelled the order nobody gonna treat me bad, lie to me and steal my money all at the same time. Disgusting service! Horrible experience, you guys ruin my beach day mood! So my recommendation is, let your customers sit and order for to go like any other restaurant if you guys want to charge tip or service!

Endured what absolutely felt like profiling. Went to eat there with family members. First group sat down and ordered without issues, second group sat down tried to order and got told they have to put a card on file first. Never have I heard of a restaurant or establishment asking for a card to be put on file in order to place a dine in order. Ordered a water. Was expecting a complimentary glass of water. Was willing to tip accordingly to find $4.68 for bottle water of water i did not agree to. I am a repeat customer and I do not appreciate the way i was treated. I will not be returning. I understand times may be hard but don’t tak it out on me. Perhaps you should reevaluate the bartenders you employ.
