BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Fort Wayne

Five stars to BJ's Brewhouse in Fort Wayne for absolutely incredible service! We showed up last minute with a huge soccer team, which is always chaotic. The setup was literally a server's nightmare—a long table split with kids/adults and separate checks for every family. Our waitress handled the entire situation flawlessly. The kitchen was incredibly fast, the food came out hot, and drinks were consistently topped off. Best of all, every single separate check was correct! We eat out frequently as a team on trips, and this was easily the smoothest and easiest dining experience we have ever had. Great job, we highly recommend this location!

We had a great New Year's Eve dinner atafter. I'm glad we could make reservations as there was a long wait. The food was great. The drinks were great. Our server, Elana, was very professional, friendly, and cordial. Our hostess, Cami, was also very professional, friendly and cordial. We will dine at BJ's Brewhouse often.

We have never had the best luck with service at BJs until tonight! Shelby was amazing, super proactive tending all tables needs all at once! Definitely one of the best meals we have had here based solely on how great our service was.

Service was fast and friendly and really didn't mind waiting in the car for our table. The wait time was pretty accurate. Food was very good and the specials aren't that bad. We had the tri tip special that came with a dessert. Restrooms were clean and easy to find. I would like to come back this summer and try some of their drinks.

Met my son and his fiance here for lunch. The wait was only 15 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Waitress was attentive and all food orders were out promptly. We had the Loaded Nachos, inwhich the presentation and portion size impressed us👍They were one of the better Nacho Platters I've ever had!👌 We all had different burgers.... The Hickory Brisket Bacon Burger, BJ's Smokehouse and The Bacon Guacamole Deluxe Burger. All Burgers were tasty with ample toppings! I had The Committed Double IPA which was a great beer! They had mixed drinks which both were very weak. People typical want alcohol in their mixed drinks....🤔 Reasons I didn't rank our dining experience a 5 was the incredibly small portion of fries we all were served and the $21 in mixed drinks that lacked alcohol.

Visited BJ's Brewhouse again last night for a birthday dinner. Thursday night reservation at 7pm and we had a great experience. Or server Angel was fantastic and that just made the night. The food was excellent and atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed the night of celebration.

We decided on the deep dish supreme pizza. It was actually more like a regular pan pizza. Not much sauce at all. It was not what I think of when I hear deep dish pizza. I tried my mom's dish the shrimp scampi and steak tip. Both were very good. I personally would like having more sauce on the steak tip. Then the dessert that was given to us for the long wait was a wait in it self. It was very good though! The staff was very friendly and did a great job! I will just order something other than pizza next time.

AMAZING food. We went on a Saturday night during their busy hours. Originally told it would be a 45 min wait, but were seated after 30min. We wanted to try something new so we got the chicken pot stickers. They were good, but I would try something different next time. I had the mahi mahi tacos with sweet potato fries. My boyfriend had a bbq brisket burger with fries. They were both VERY good. I also had the frozen strawberry splash that was delicious. Originally my food came out before my boyfriends, but our waiter was quick to recognize we were missing a plate of food. The building was very clean and family friendly. I would eat here again and recommend it to others.

So the atmosphere and service is great but my steak was just alright it was cooked perfectly but it didn't taste like high quality beef even tho it was medium it was super dry!!! My drink and bread bowl broccoli soup was great and the rest of my group loved their meals also so I really don't know!!!

Ordered through 'Door dash' - delivery last night & someone 'did not' notice that I really had wanted, "Ordered 2 plastic kid 8 or 10 oz size bottles" of milk! NOT 2 cardboard 18oz drink cups 'filled with Ice first & milk' poured over it!!?? WHO pours Milk on ice for a home delivery?? TOTALLY wasted sending this. Also, did like that the dessert "was delivered IN' the small round metal baking dish. Other food was ok.

If you like a bar atmosphere with overall better overpriced food, with a large menu to choose from.; then this is your spot to go to. The restaurant had a very tranquil atmosphere and plenty of TV’s to watch, and the servers were very kind though! but I just didn’t feel the complete satisfaction between the ratio of eating the food and seeing the bill at the end! (this was about $80).

Server was nice and very quick with requests. The place was very busy and loud due to March Madness on the TVs. Put name in ahead of time for 5 people. Waited another 20 minutes after arriving. Steak was not a good cut and was coated with too much black pepper. Asparagus was rubbery and wedge salad was mostly the core. Would come back with better knowledge of this being more bar than restaurant.

Used to love their food. Then they got rid of all the best sauces. Bacon glaze, mandarin orange bacon glaze porkchops, and rootbeer wings. Sad when corporations lose loved products so that chain can cut costs on inventory.

Our Waitress was awesome, the what appeared to be 4 hosts terrible. We open tabled a table before hand got there ahead of our time. Watched other couples that showed up after us get seated ahead of us. There was open tables all over. Manager came over to the 4 standing around and told them someone needs to start clearing tables. 1 of the 4 did. Took my wife saying something to get seated. We pasted about 4 open tables on the way to ours. We're not going back. Food wasn't terrible but wasn't worth the price.

Things we liked: The slider buns were nicely toasted. The take-out counter server was very nice and helpful. Guacamole was good but needed some salt. The wings were the best thing by far, quite tastey. Fries were pretty good. Things we didn't like: Chips weren't salted, not crispy - they were chewy. Tacos were cold and not much flavor. Fish had too much batter and no seasoning at all. Slider patties were very overcooked and dry. Sliders had no toppings and it looked like the lettuce was old and came from a Caesar salad mix because it had Parmesan on it. Pizookie was burnt. So bottom line we would only ever get wings here because everything else had major issues.

Got there and had to wait a hour and a half to be seated. The staff just did not seem to care. The young lady who was our waitress forgot twice to bring a cup of coffee ☕️ TWICE! Who does that? I got the jumbo spaghetti & meatballs the noodles were undercooked 4 out of 10.

Got a burger and fries and a Santa Fe salad. All in we were at about 50 bucks. Burger was cold. Fries were old. Salad was warm. Chicken was cold. It wasn't good. Don't think I can justify going back.

We went on a mission with one with on our minds and one thing only... Pizookies. I was excited since I had a free pizookie from signing up to BJ's online. Upon entering we were shown the seasonal valentines pizookie which looked delicious, so I asked if it came under the offer and they said yes. Service was good and pizookie was delicious, but then when it came time to pay they told me that actually that pizookie didn't come under the deal and I had to pay $15. I honestly felt like they should have taken off the amount of the normal pizookie and I could have paid the difference because I literally asked if it came under the deal before ordering. I would come again because it was yummy, but I would say it was annoying and put a dampener on the mood.

Our family really enjoys this place but this visit was awful. 4 of the 6 sets of silverware were dirty. When we asked a passing server for a new set, her response implied that this wasnt surprising. Our server took our orders, brought the soups & salad, and then disappeared. When our food did arrive it looked like it had been under the heat lamp for awhile. Our prime rib meals were dry to the point the meat almost looked like jerky. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were so dry they were crunchy. The only truly decent parts of the meal were the pazookies. We aren't so sure we will be back anytime soon.

Girls day trip started great today. Decided to try Bj's since we drove 2hrs to Fort Wayne to shop and none of us had ever been to this chain restaurant. Was not the best experience. Food was good, service was good... BUT, if we had been told there was no heat inside restaurant upon entering we probably would have left. It was mid 30's outside and wasn't much warmer inside. Waitress said its better today, yesterday we wore our coats.. Seriously management should have never opened for business... it was miserable 1st time experience!

Kitchen refused to make a Monkey bread Pazookie. 😢 For the record. Our server was amazing and the food was great. It was very disappointing to find out that even though they had monkey bread available they did not want to prep it after 10pm. (There was nothing that said they stop serving it after a certain time) hopefully next time I go they still have monkey bread available.

​My recent visit to BJ's was disappointing. A simple request for a medium sirloin steak was met with a well-done piece of meat with a crispy black top. While I understand mistakes can happen, the attempt at a fix was even more baffling: the replacement was an overcooked slab of prime rib 😬. The service only compounded these errors. Our server spilled our sauce, never provided a drink refill, and then, at the end of the meal, failed to provide a pen to sign the check. The combination of kitchen errors, and inattentive service made for one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. Management attempted to be helpful, but clearly, the professionalism is non existent at this particular location. Diners Beware!

My husband and I went here for lunch today. I ordered the chicken pita tacos. I bit into my second taco to find approximately a 1 inch piece of glass in my mouth. It cut the roof of my mouth. It took 10 minutes for a manager to come out who admitted the first manager told about the situation pawned this off on her. We will never go back to BJs after this incident. This is appalling service!

The baked potatoes were hard and cold. The meat was cold, tough and the scampi was cold and all they do is cover everything in wilted parsley. First time here will never come back again. The waitress was not good.

Had a horrible experience here due to the manager James. I asked my server about making a reservation on Valentine’s Day for a large group. She said for a party over 10 people the manager Mr.James has to handle it. So I watched and listened as she approached him about my request and he responded to her very loudly and I quote “Just tell her we’re not taking anymore reservations on Valentine’s Day! God I’m so ready to retire!” With an attitude like that why bother working in customer service. We won’t be coming back to this location!

My husbad and I went today around 4:30pm. Tables were not even half filled. We got seated within 5 minutes. Was seated in a booth for probably 6 people when there were plenty of tables/booths to for 2 ppl. Waitress came an food was ordered by 4:45 had my soup by 455 after waiting another 20/25 minutes waitress came out an told us that there is a wait because the chicken my husband ordered was frozen and needed thawed out so it would be another 10 minutes and that they would have ro remake a simple burger since it took so long for the chicken. Another 15/20 mins later she brings the food out. Husband's whole meal was cold. My hamburger was burnt and warm with enough lettuce could of made a salad with it, fries were cold an old, waitress said she was bringing new fries since they were old. 10 minutes later she brought new fries that were hot but we're so over done they were hard. 15 more minutes she brings the check says she was buying us a dessert and we ordered it 15 mins later she brought it out....a cookie an pre cupped ice cream...the cookie was burnt, hard and cold... Horrible experience. 1st time an will never go back. Over priced. Poor food. Poor service.

It’s so crazy how there’s a BJ back home where I’m from yet my first experience was at this one in Fort Wayne. I was overcharged for a meal that I complained wasn’t cooked to my liking. And then my server had the worst attitude. I ended up spending over $200 for me and my kids to receive a meal that wasn’t cooked correctly and receive terrible customer service from our server.

We are in Fort Wayne for a softball tournament. We made reservations for 30ppl but when we got there they had no reservations. We showed them our confirmation email and after waiting 30 minutes the manager appeared and told us the best they could do was have us wait for 2 hours and than they would be able to seat us. Terrible. We come down here a couple times a year and we will never go back.

A group of 6 went there and it was freezing server said they had heating issue? 2 more friends showed up (we were in a booth) server said they can't move table and chairs, fire hazard yet no one was seated at any tables, I had the New boneless chicken with dry ranch rub looked like all they did was dump a package of ranch on them. I tried to wipe them off no luck ate 2 or 3 and gave up to salty. Went to the restroom whoa, thought maybe it's where they stored frozen stuff. Our entire group said we'll never go back

The food is always decent but the hospitality here sucks! I had a to go order that was sitting on the counter when I walked in the door I stood there for probably 5 minutes and had at least 6 or 7 of the waitresses and the bartender looked directly at me in the eyes with my order sitting on the counter getting cold and not a single person even acknowledged that I was standing there. Trying to pick up my order. I guess it's just one of those situations where everyone that works there looks at it is a "not my job" situation. This tells you that the management is probably not very friendly or well trained here as it typically is the management that creates that type of culture.

Went in for dinner, about ten minutes of waiting the two female hostesses started to argue and started to cuss at each other right in front of everyone including very young children, a couple families left because of it, then once they found us a booth I asked for a table cause I’m a larger size man I was told by the hostess to suck it in and I’ll be fine! I asked our waitress if we could move to a table and her response was that we were sat there for a reason and if we moved it would effect her tips, really! I didn’t even order anything cause I couldn’t sit in there narrow booth we ended up just leaving! Very sad and unprofessional service if I managed this place I would be very disappointed! And would seriously consider firing some of the hostesses and wait staff!

I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day. I get there and I’m told I’m being placed on an hour long wait list. That’s ridiculous. I knew pretty much every restaurant would be packed due to Valentine’s Day so I joined the wait list even though I had a reservation. I ended up waiting close to 2 hours to get sat. The food was good and my server was nice but I spent too much money to have had this experience. There’s no point in having the option to make a reservation if you’re gonna have to wait over an hour upon arrival.

Last night my husband and I attempted to eat at this location at around 10pm after we watched Shawshank Redemption, we had never been to the Fort Wayne location. There was a party of 4 in front of us. The server told us to give her a minute so we had a seat on the bench. She sat the party of 4, 2 more ladies arrived a she seated them. Then 2 more ladies arrived and she also seated them. So my husband and got up and left. Never have I ever experienced anything like that. I felt like maybe we weren’t her type of people. We won’t be back to this location. We ended up at Bubba’s and wasn’t rejected.

Me and my family went here last night to have dinner in celebration of my birthday. My dad told the server it was my birthday and she said I get a free pizookie. I’ve never had one before so I was super excited about it. I ordered the butterfinger pizookie. For starters they hardly put any toppings on it and by the time I received it the ice cream was completely melted. On top of that they actually chargers for the pizookie. Secondly my dad’s steak wasn’t cooked medium like how he asked. And when brought it up our server’s whole attitude turned disgusting. My dad never got his steak cooked right. Horrible experience here on my birthday makes it even worse. I won’t be returning here.

Really disappointed. We let our kids pick their restaurant of choice for their birthdays. It was our daughters 18th yesterday and she wanted BJs. I called ahead and made a reservation or whatever term you all use, for 8 under the name Isabelle. We walked in and there was no hostess and no other guests waiting, not to mention hardly anyone in the restaurant. We had two what appeared to be managers just looking at us and no one else appeared for over 10 minutes. When someone did it was a server who had to get the hostess because he couldn't find our reservation. One of the managers that just stared at us finally helped to set up our table and get us seated and told us along the way all draft beer (at a brewhouse) was coming out warm. The server we had was attentive, he was not the problem. The food was cold, and my husband and brother in law both got the brisket burger and said it was flavorless. There was more avacodo on my plate than my burger. All around just not a good experience. This was the second, and probably last time, I'll go back here as the first wasn't good either. Disappointing when you spend nearly 300$ on dinner for it to be subpar.

It’s really sad that I come here as often as I do and spend so much money here to have to have the experience i had last night. The hostesses were too busy laughing and playing on their phones that thru didn’t even notice me standing there waiting to be greeted. When they finally noticed the tall girl with dark hair said very dry “what do you need?” Talk about rude. When I told her it would be me and two other people needing to be sat she rolled her eyes and said “hold on”. She grabs the menus and silverware and began walking really fast to the table I almost lost her. I’m an older woman I can’t keep up with a fast walker. The server i had was really sweet but for the hostess to be the first impression my experience wasn’t great. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this restaurant.

Will definitely not be returning.. sad that we look forward to eating together as a family of 3 with a $90 bill and had such awful service.. I have never experienced such bad service that it felt intentional. To give you an idea of the occupancy there were quite a few empty tables, a pretty slow evening at that. Zero explanation for the service we had. Our waitress didn’t come to the table to great us or get our drinks orders for 15 minutes, after drink orders were taken we sat and waited for an additional 25 minutes to order our food, and afterwords we had to ask for an update on our food after waiting an additional 30 minutes without even receiving our appetizer or silverware, by the time we got our food we needed condiments. We waited, and then continued to wait, other waitresses passing as they actually were checking on their tables. Finally when our waitress walked past to start a different table we were able to ask for condiments, as she never came back to see if our orders were even correct ( both of our dishes were overcooked), we then continued to wait for a check, she finally gave it to us without letting us know it was an online checkout, we then had to ask a different waitress for boxes. The majority of the time during our visit we noticed our waitress all the way across the room chatting with other employees by the kitchen door, glancing over at us occasionally.. I have never left a review like this on a restaurant but with how disappointed we were with our experience we felt we should share our experience so others can be prepared for the LONG wait even if the restaurant isn’t busy, and for the very poor service.

Sat at table quickly, restaurant was not busy. Waitress was friendly and ordered drinks. Drinks were brought in a good time. Ordered food. 30 minutes later was told it would be a couple more minutes for fresh French fries. 15 minutes later food had not arrived. Talk to manager. Food was out few minutes later. Food was cold the fresh fries we waited for were cold. . Would not recommend this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. When paying $45 for a chicken sandwich and a burger meal. I expect better.

It's a December Saturday afternoon and 5 of us and 1 child wanted to grab lunch. There was hardly any people in the waiting area, actually just one other couple to be exact, and plenty of tables open. It took a good 25-30 minutes to get seated and we asked something about the wait and were told "certain tables were being left open due to cold air blowing" so we proceeded to wait another 5 or 10 minutes and got seated. The wait wasn't all that big of a deal...but when I say it was cold in this place, it was COLD. My 70+ year old parents couldn't feel their legs and my hands and toes were frozen as well. And we hadn't even taken our jackets off. All this was before we even placed a food order. My girlfriend and her kids were shivering so I asked for the bill for our drinks so we could leave. The waitress (I don't recall her name) was very understanding and covered our drinks and we left. I've been to this BJ'S location several times but that was insane. Extension cords leading to portable heaters in the bathrooms? What in the hell does it take for a restaurant to close down opposed to staying open for possible profit just make their customers sit through a miserable cold atmosphere. It's been a half hour and I'm now thawing out elsewhere. It was enough for me to never want to go back.

The restaurant was freezing cold last night. Many Customers were eating with coats on... myself included. We asked our waitress to mention the cold temperature to the manager. The manager said that it takes time for the large area to warm up. Seriously, it was 6 pm in the evening and they were open for hours at this point. Also, we asked for a cozy area for 2. We were seated in front of a child sitting at a table for 2...talking on the phone, playing video games and music. His mother was the waitress! We won't be back.
