Loved the experience! Really wonderful food, staff and experience!
📍Hanabi Ramen & Izakaya-- Downtown Fort Worth @hanabiramentx This spot was Legit 🔥🍜 I got the Curry Vegan Ramen. Vegetable curry soup topped with napa cabbage, cabbage, carrot, bok choy, green onion and ajitama. It came with Housemade Vegetable Noodles as well. Highly recommend this spot! #VeganRamen #VegetableCurry #CurryRamen
Chill lighting, good music, warm atmosphere, service was excellent. Food was phenomenal, my wife loved her California Rolls and fried rice. We got Hibachi Filet Mignon, chicken, and shrimp, and “The Mexican Chef”, chef Andrew cooked everything to perfection. My wife really appreciated that he asked us if we wanted the “show” because she doesn’t really enjoy the throwing food thing most hibachi places do. We can’t wait to come back.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience truly deserved one. The issue wasn’t the restaurant or staff—it was the incredibly rude couple seated next to us. Our waitress was clearly new (her first job and i believe her first week if I heard her correctly), but she handled everything with patience and kindness. She brought our drinks quickly and corrected anything we needed—she did a great job under pressure. Meanwhile, the couple beside us treated her with complete disrespect. They ignored her, claimed they ordered things they didn’t, and openly talked badly about her every time she walked away. (it didn’t help that they were drinking.) Their behavior was uncomfortable for everyone nearby and visibly upsetting for her. They ended up getting a discount they didn’t deserve, and it was frustrating to witness. So, if that couple happens to read this: it was a busy Saturday night, and your server was doing her best. Maybe try offering grace instead of hostility—like the rest of us did. Better yet, try walking in her shoes.
Hanabi Hibachi & Sushi | Fort Worth, TX Dinner, a show, and a hibachi chef I’d trust with my life 🔥🍣🎉 We came for a good meal—and left with full bellies and sore cheeks from laughing. Our hibachi chef was top-tier hilarious and seriously skilled. Between the fire, flying shrimp, and nonstop jokes, it was dinner and a show in the best possible way. We kicked things off with their soup and salad, which were simple but hit the spot—especially that classic ginger dressing (you know the one). Then came the fried shrimp tempura roll, which was crispy, flavorful, and gone way too fast. But honestly? The rice and veggies nearly stole the show—sauced just right, cooked to perfection, and packed with that buttery hibachi magic. We ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi, and every bite was a hit. Tender steak, perfectly grilled shrimp, and flavors that made us want to lick the plate (but we stayed classy... mostly). The vibe was lively, the service was solid, and the whole night felt like a mini celebration. If you're looking for fun, flavor, and a flaming onion volcano or two, Hanabi delivers.
The sushi and Jimmy at the sushi bar are awesome. That was a great experience. I will be back, sorry I didn't take any photos, but I will next time. I gave a 1 star for service and allow me to explain. The waitress never made eye contact. Never checked to see if we wanted another drink or anything. I had to request the sushi chef to interrupt the group of gabbing waitresses to get my check. She brought it over to the seat beside me because all of the empty plates were in front of us. I actually had to tell her to remove my plate so that I can sign the credit card slip. Your management should work on proper training on waiting of tables and your guests. My second visit was fabulous with the chef making a wonderful assortment of sushi to try. There are a lot of choices in this area, but you won't find one better. The sushi bar service is superb. The server came by and took my empty dishes. They now have received 5 stars in all categories. I'm now a regular here. This is my sushi place. I always eat at the sushi bar. I had an amazing salmon belly sushi and can't wait to go again.
Update: while everyone here is friendly and attentive, the best service we have ever had, anywhere, is Eden. We always order the same thing, and he greets us with our tea, soup, and salad immediately. He has a fantastic memory, so he always remembers our main order as well. The lunch specials are tasty and are a great value with plenty to eat. The restaurant is pretty and has a great atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly, and greet you from all over when you walk in. ordered a poke bowl. It was so pretty, I wish I had gotten a picture. The ingredients were super fresh, and it came with a flower in the middle for decoration. They have lunch specials that include soup, salad, and tea. I highly recommend it.
Went here to try the hibachi grill...so good! Prepare to wait an hour or so if you're here on the weekend. Worth the wait! Ordered the Las Vegas roll as an app and that was really good too. Pricing is fair here as well. Staff was nice and timely. Had a great experience here and I will be back!
Came here for dinner as my family in the local area suggested we come. We tried to come a few other previous times, but the wait was long without a reservation. Luckily, we were able to get in on a Saturday night without reservations. I was a little hesitant as many times these hibachi places are more about the show than the quality of food. However, the food here was pretty good. Came in and was quickly able to get seated in the general restaurant area since we weren't doing the hibachi experience. Ordered several sushi rolls as that's easy to share and allows everyone to try a little bit of everything. Also ordered the sushi boat as wanted to really taste the sushi and it came with many different cuts of sushi nigiri and sashimi. Sometimes it's hard to tell the quality of sushi in rolls as there's so many other ingredients and toppings. The sushi bar was right behind us, so was able to see the quality of the fish in the case and how it was being prepared. All the sushi came out quickly and looked good. They didn't have the actual boat, so just brought it out on a platter. The rolls were good and what you would expect. I can't remember the names as we were just calling them out. The individual items that were easier to taste were the soft-shelled crab and the eel. I preferred the soft-shelled crab over the eel, but both were good. As far as the sushi, they were both good in quality and freshness. They had the right amount of fats and oils in higher quality sushi. I was impressed as didn't expect this quality from a hibachi restaurant. Service was fast and attentive. Overall, good food and service that exceeded my expectations.
Update: my favorite chef left, so I asked for someone fun, and they gave me James. Amazing! And some of the best fried rice I've had! His flavor profiles were on point, and his technique was impeccable. Hanabi is excelled everytime I've come. Okay, so maybe you saw my old habachi favorite fall from my good graces a couple of weeks ago. Well, I started my search for a new one, and scored with my very first outing! The ambiance was lovely. The food was amazing! (definitely try the heart attack!) the sushi fish was so fresh, but more than that, the habachi was FUN! during lunch! Lol. Min was amazing with the kids, they couldn't take their eyes off him. The waitress Emo, whom we loved!!! Told us the kids always request him. So, if you can get a table with Min and Emo, who took such great care of us even though we're the needy customer type, rest assured, you will be hooked with the first bite. So, just left from my third visit - amazing Everytime! And yes, I do request Min each time, and he never fails to impress. 🤗

We had a group of about 50 people for a work meeting. They accommodated all of us with several tables. Everyone had a blast. Our cook was a lot of fun. Not sure admit the sushi but the Hibachi side…
Great portions, fresh food, and excellent customer service. I definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys hibachi or sushi. High quality meal with accurate pricing.

It's a great place to share and enjoy a meal. It was a beautiful experience
Beautiful interior and design. Came here for sushi and the sushi rice was crumbly and not very sweet as to be expected. The slices for sushi were very think which for some may be great for portioning but even the hand rolls look as if they were cut and rolled quickly without care. Taste was still very good and especially enjoyed the white tuna and extra sweet shrimp they provided.
Solid four, borderline five. Stopped in for lunch. We ate on the habachi side, the other is table service. We had shrimp, BBQ, and chicken. The fried rice was excellent. IMO, the shrimp were ever so slightly over cooked. My wife likes well done beef, so she loved the BBQ, over cooked for my taste,, so when you go, asked for the temperature you like. The cook was very entertaining and the waitress kept my glass full, perfect.
So disappointing. A big part of hibachi to me is the show. The table to the right of us had all the usual show, onion train, shrimp tossing etc our table literally had zero show, no interaction wha…

Hibachi is a yummy place always come here on birthdays or special occasions. The service is OK. The food is amazing as the norm. The place is usually clean and a fun experience just really loud.
Hibachi style food, good food, good chef, okay/so so waitress, never bothered refilling drinks after initial order
I really loved the food, the chef and waitress. However, the area for hibachi was so hot that it was really uncomfortable with many of us sweating. Yes, you're next to a grill, but we were sweating before anything was turned on and I've never been that uncomfortable before in a hibachi restaurant. Will either not do hibachi there again or get it to go. Food was top notch!
This is an updated after our 2nd visit April 21st,2025 Had a bad experience. Had a birthday party Monday night with the family. My wife found a 1 inch metal screw in her rice. No picture we were in shock the cook apologized repeatedly but in the end laughed it off. Nothing was offered and I still gave my normal tip. I thought long and hard before posting but felt it was necessary. Unfortunately, it killed the mood of our group. We had 7pm reservation for a group of 10 and was seated on time. It seems dark inside but when seated at grill not so bad. We had the Miso and Salad to start I had the Korean BBQ with mixed vegetables and fried rice, the wife had a Sushi Roll and I can't remember which one, but it was very good and she shared. The beef was better than I expected doused in soy sauce very tender the vegetables were really good and fresh, fried rice was a meh. Service was good drinks were mixed well, this was all about celebrating our Gransons 11 birthday which he loved. A really neat place to celebrate for the kids which they can interact with the chef and family. Needless to say he had a blast and that made it a great evening.
The overall atmosphere is quiet, laid-back very chill. The hibachi side had quite a bit of people compared to the two people in the dining side. Right off the bat I noticed the lack of server training in this location. The dumplings were a little bland and lacked flavor. Displaying the dumplings on a colorful dish might be more appealing to the eye. The tower was very flavorful. It was paired with a lot of delicious sauces. the sushi was overall pretty decent. The Poké bowl wasn’t bad. It was just missing a sauce for more flavor. We did add the leftover sauce from the tower to the poke bowl and it made a huge difference. Overall food wasn’t bad. Perfect if you want a quiet restaurant to do some work. The most dissatisfying thing from my experience was the service.
First time and last time. Our cook was awesome and very friendly. However the food and cleanliness of the location left us not wanting to try this place again. The food was ok, for what we ended up paying we were left disappointed. It feels like a old location rather then a newer one considering it's neighbors.
food was ok asked for fried rice got white rice, sweet tea needs work other than that service was great checked on us every 5 mins. wouldn't try again but its good

Initially, things were good… Until 12 hours later. I was not going to post a review, but then I called to alert the manager, and he was very defensive and showed zero compassion. My sister and I went Friday for hibachi. (It’s important to note that this was the only thing I ate that day.) Everything was good while we were there, staff was nice, experience was good.. but then signs of food poisoning/Gastrointestinal infection showed up in the early hours of the next morning - for both of us. We both had the salad, the soup, the fried rice and the hibachi filet mignon/chicken combo. I called and asked to speak with the manager, so that I could alert him of these symptoms we were experiencing. As somebody who works in the industry, we take these types of phone calls, very seriously!! It is not to say that the restaurant did any practices incorrectly, but they could have a contaminated batch of Romaine… Eggs… Meat. And it’s important to notate if somebody calls, in case a recall comes out. Instead of any compassion, I received “we have the freshest ingredients in town” - completely dismissing me. First of all, unless you grow/raise the ingredients yourself, there is no way to know the quality of the ingredients or how it was prepared BEFORE it came to your restaurant. Compassion goes a long way. And notating the importance of severe symptoms such as we are displaying, are highly important to the safety of your guests. I have not decided if I want to contact the health department yet, but it’s a possibility. Maybe you should’ve cared a little bit more.

I’ve been to many sushi places before and I’m not one to leave reviews either but I don’t recommend this place at all. My partner and I went last week around 6pm and we ordered calamari, gyoza and three sushi rolls. The gyoza was rubbery, the calamari felt fake and old and the sushi was not fresh AT ALL. The freshest thing we had was the cucumber inside of the sushi and to top it off we felt sick afterwards. I’m not sure how their hibachi is but in regard to sushi I won’t be back.
So we eat here often, maybe every 2 months or so and the food has always been good and service is okay. We got our food to go today and we were shocked by the pathetic portions we received. I order the steak and shrimp, steak should be 6 oz and I received 2.65 oz. I’m not kidding yall, I actually whipped out my food scale and weighed it because that is how PATHETIC the portion size was. My kids also received the same amount of steak. As far as the shrimp goes, I should’ve gotten 4 oz and I got 2. Each meal was supposed to come with 2 appetizer shrimps, they didn’t give anyone shrimp. I am beyond livid for the amount of money we paid for this food to not even get half of the amount of steak we were supposed to. Hardly got any veggies too, which really speaks volumes because how expensive are veggies? They really couldn’t toss in a few extra pieces of broccoli? Time to find a new hibachi place, I’m officially done with this one. Also, scrolled through some other reviews and didn’t take me long to come across the one where I guy mentions a roach hopping up on the table while he was eating. I’m OUT.
I ordered the my strip to go!!! This doesn’t even equal a New York strip on it own! I eat here all the time in person and have never been treated this way, very disappointed in my order I ordered fried rice it came with chicken which would be an awesome freebie if I weren’t allergic to chicken so that useless, we did have a chicken fried rice on our order but not for me… I hate that I have supported this company for so long and they treat customers like this….never again I’ll go across the highway!
