This Freebirds location is seriously top tier. The store is always clean, organized, and welcoming, the line moves fast, and everything tastes fresh. The manager on shift tonight was outstanding—you can tell they truly care about how the place is run and about the customer experience. The team was friendly and on it, and of course the chips and queso were absolute perfection. We love having a spot like this for quick, delicious food that never disappoints.
The manager at this location Zach did a phenomenal Job. Greet me with a smile while preparing my burrito had great conversation when I got towards the end to pay for the burrito he’ll let me know about my reward points and I got to eat for free today. The burrito was amazing. Definitely coming back to this location.
Shout out to the awesome staff at this location! I put in a to go order on them that they don’t typically see and they worked to crank it out as fast as possible without sacrificing quality or taste! They emphasized customer service and making sure I had a great experience. Food was on par with exactly what I expect from a Freebirds. Great job team and keep up the great work and customer focus!
My son turned me onto Freebird's, way back when he was a Texas A&M student, living in College Station. Big burritos, big bowls, great food. I've eaten at the Pipeline location in Hurst, Texas, many times. Recently, I've had ground beef burritos and chicken burritos and my wife had a chicken bowl. All were delicious and made to order. I love getting the corn salsa, pico, and tortilla strips on mine. I usually order via their app and am rewarded with deals and freebies. You can really customize your order in the app. Don't sleep on the cayenne tortilla!
Im very new to Freebirds but this was the most amazing experience. As someone who’s die hard qdoba Fan, this location single hardly won us over. We came after church. The restaurant was clean, clean music and super friendly, helpful staff. Thank you Lee and Raymon for assisting me and my husband today. We will definitely be back and will collect points for our rewards account. Good customer service is hard to find, glad this business found y’all ❤️❤️
I had an excellent experience! Raymond greeted me, and handled my order. He was very kind & respectful, and even made some light conversation because the restaurant was slow at the moment when I came in. I feel like a valued customer, and I'm always happy to come back here! 🩷 I took my food to-go, so I'm really excited to eat once I get back home! 😄🌯 Thanks for being such a cool person, Raymond! My husband and I had a great experience getting our takeout order. They made sure my nachos toppings were spread evenly and even put the queso on the side so the chips didn’t get soggy! We will be back.
Love it!! My wife and I actually traveled over 300 miles to visit family. As soon as I found out there was a Freebirds less than 3 minutes away from our destination, it was IMMEDIATELY added as a detour! I haven't been able to go to a Freebirds since they were closed in our town. (Super sad about that!) The food was fresh and the service was fast and super friendly! The atmosphere was inviting and clean! 10/10! I will be getting a to-go burrito for the drive back!!
Just wanted to share the great experience the Wife and I had today at this location. Our server Lee was very entertaining and caring. Energetic customer service about your products keeps me coming back. The steak burrito was tender and tasty.
We come here a lot and it's been great for us! Lee is AWESOME! He remembers my husband so well and he was so sweet to us today. He created a sauce that he let us try that was so good! I really appreciate his attitude and spirit. The food was delicious and I'm glad they have tea again! We will be back many many times!
On my way to work what's headed to Jason's deli when I pulled in the parking lot I saw free birds and so I decided to go in there and stay at maybe I could get them cheaper meal just to steal but cheaper. I ordered the free birds chicken burrito for $8.19 added extra meat and somehow the price jump from $13.48. So the total was $15.97 and then they had two sales taxes, one for the state of Texas and one for the city of fort Worth and I'm just looking at the fact that I've paid $17.29 for a freaking burrito and a brownie. But I do know that the scoops they were using to scoop the food on the burrito where pretty damn small I was a little shocked by that but I will edit my posts after I eat the food take some pictures to show you what it looks. The tortilla was a cayenne pepper maybe it'll be hot, I got double chicken corn, some mild salsa and then put some jalapeno ranch dressing on it with rice, potatoes on it too so didn't have a lot of choices not like Chipotle has or some other burrito places have better choices.
Freebird's concept seems pretty close to Chipotle's, but I'm not sure they do it as well. I enjoyed their broad selection of ingredients, making their burritos very customizable. But overall I was just not amazed, I much prefer a more authentic Mexican burrito.
The food is usually really good, service mostly friendly. Recently have gone twice and they have ran out of chicken though. Last time I went the chips were stale as well. I would hope they increase their standards a little for the price of the food.
This place was amazing at one point in time. They obviously refocused their efforts to mimic the real life experience of an alley way in South Austin. The people serving were very nice, but the inside conditions have fallen off dramatically.
No joke every time I come to this location which is not very often, maybe 2 to 3 times a month.It's dirty, no ice in the machine and the fountain drinks are either out or not working right. Come on guys, get it together. Low on food and get the last bit of something that's been sitting out for probably hours.

I placed a mobile order for pick up through the Freebirds app and had to stand around waiting for 15-20 minutes before I was even looked at or helped by a worker. And there were 4 other people standing waiting as well. The Freebirds staff was too worried about doing everyone else’s orders. My food was ready for a long while and it was cold by the time I got it. I read another review where someone said that they ignore delivery drivers and I sure do believe it. I decided to place a Doordash order for delivery and 7 different drivers went to the store. They all canceled the order and I never got my food. I bet they were all ignored. I have gone to many freebirds but none as "unique" as this one. This freebirds served me cold under cooked rice along with cold chicken. The service took a long time even though there was hardly anyone there. A third of our food had to be thrown out because it was unedible. I would not recommend this freebirds to anyone who wants a nice WARM burrito. There are many better locations to go to for a nice meal. I will not be returning. Skip over this location.
Just went into Freebirds to grab myself lunch. I ordered a bowl with rice and 2 scoops of steak and 2 scoops of chicken. They did not comprehend that. I asked for the medium size bowl, he proceeds to make a small size. Then when I asked for more rice he said it would be extra, by the end of it I paid $22.55 for a side of queso and a small size bowl. But was charged for a large side of queso and a medium size bowl with extra meat. Most likely will not be going back.
I go there often but this last time was the worst experience. I paid for a side queso that I didn’t even get. They shorted me on portions. Both me and my wife both got tiny burritos the size of a Taco Bell Burrito. I bought a large chips and queso and they barely gave me any queso or chips. The bowl was literally filled less than halfway. One of the guys working was new but he was fine. The other guy was rude. Asked us questions about why we are getting our burritos made a certain way. They were horrible in asking for what we wanted on our burritos. They genuinely gave us half bird size burritos and charged us for a freebird. Typically a huge fan of this place. They basically robbed us this time and we are very disappointed. We have never seen such bad service and quality from free birds. The guy who was “in charge” gave us a hard time, shorted us on portions, and charged us for things we didn’t even get.
We went for the $7 bowl special, it was horrible, dirty and disgusting. The poor employees didn't know what direction they were going. There was about seven people in front of us and it took 30 mins to get served. I didn't eat a quarter of my food because it was terrible, dry and no flavor! Trash was overflowing, no ice, everything was dirty. We should have left, now I wish we did! I think the special did them more harm than good. We will definitely never go back even if the promotion is free ! Years ago, we would go and it was amazing. The vibe was awesome. The atmosphere was really cool. Definitely not the case anymore. This place has gone downhill 100%. This is the one on Sage Meadow in Ft. Worth by Aliance If I could give negative stars, that's what I would do
This location has sent me a burrito that was opened and not secure for the delivery person. It has also sent me their smallest burrito which is called the Freebird and I paid for a super monster and preferably manager. Zach says that they have been making them wrong and they were losing meat on their portion size. I said, I understand that, but if I’m used to receiving it this way, you should honor that or at least give me a refund back because that’s why I order the super monster, he offered me their smallest burrito, which was an insult to me and he continued to explain to me about the problems they have at the store like they got a new menu and the new employees haven’t been trained properly on portion size I frequent this business very often And I always get the super monster most of the time and it’s a very large burrito but the one I got in this delivery order was the size of their smallest burrito and so I’ve never bought a super monster this size and it was delivery because had I been in the store I would’ve refused this burrito. I must say I love Freebirds and I love their burritos, but I have two choices now visit another location other than the alliance town center or stop eating with them altogether they don’t honor the points that you earn in the app. Their phones are broken. You can’t get a response with the emails. It’s just getting really bad we live in a world in a generation where people do not respect customer service when I grew up I worked fast food. We would talk to customers always right with Zach. I don’t see how he wants to hold me accountable for their problems I paid for what I want And that’s what I should’ve gotten based on what I’ve always received.
This location used to be my go to location for freebirds, but I won't be going back anytime soon. Main problems were speed, service and sanitation. Speed-It took over 30 minutes for them to whittle down the line and prepare my order. One of the guys seemed newer and sometimes just stood there doing nothing while the order ahead of me was being prepared. To be fair, I think he was new, but the place seemed understaffed and undertrained. Service-They skimped on some ingredients rather than get out new containers. Had to remind them a couple of times of things I ordered. Understaffed. Sanitation-They dropped my bag of chips on the floor where they've been standing, looked at it for a moment, then picked it up and put it on the counter where they prepared food (so whatever germs and diseases were on the floor have now been introduced to the counter) and continued without changing gloves. Thankfully my burrito was already made at that point so it was edible, but the chips got trashed as soon as I got home. Place was also a mess due to the rush-spilled drink on counters, drinks empty because they're too understaffed to fill them, etc. I'll be giving this place a wide berth until they can get their act together.
