Three course meal. It was delicious definitely coming back some time this week! It was so good we order more for home. I'm happy you guys are here we needed more Asian food ! 🤤😋

We have been here five times since they have opened, and every single time we have had great service and great food. On one occasion I waiter forgot my green tea, but very sweetly made up for it with a desert. The Miso soup has changed a little bit since they originally opened, and I much prefer the new recipe. Overall very friendly staff, delicious food that is well made and tasty. Service is very efficient here.

I love the relaxing atmosphere of Takara! The food is delicious. The takoyaki appetizer was one of the best I’ve tasted. I also tried the chicken teriyaki bento box, the chicken hibachi, and the shrimp fried rice. The portions are generous so there’s usually not room for dessert, but taking to go is always welcome. I do hope to try out all the desserts here one day!

All you can eat sushi with robot server. Sushi, sashimi, Ramen, udon. Restaurant has a robust menu. For the value, all you can eat sushi is definitely the way to go! I love the tuna sushi Tower

Got there for the lunch pricing menu. Was absolutely fantastic. Food was fresh and tasty. Absolutely worth the $20 special for lunch time.

I visited Takara for the first time on Father’s Day and it was an amazing experience! I really recommend the kungpao chicken. The servers were very attentive and service was great. Can’t wait to come back.

I meant to review some time ago and forgot,, but I remember my experience. Love the outside. The inside is nice. It had low lighting. There aren't a lot of hibachi tables like you'd find at most places. But the food was still fantastic. It was cooked elsewhere and brought to us in our booth. Super friendly staff. Will go back.

This place is awesome!!! Great service! All the servers were very welcoming and friendly! They were very attentive as well! The food was really good and great portions! I recommend replacing the rice with udon in the bento box! 💯 We got the teriyaki shrimp bento box with udon instead of rice and the The Texas roll! 👌 will definitely be back here

Great place to eat if your really hungry. Lunch and dinner specials are worth it plus it's connected to a Revolving Sushi which is on the menu also

First time here and we enjoyed our experience here. We dined in an hour and half before closing and the owner and the waiter was very kind and courteous and still allowed us to order whatever all the way until closing. The food was amazing and came out quickly and the portion sizes are good. We did the all you can eat dinner rush. It was quiet, clean and intimate. The energy felt really good here and different POC came to eat here. All waiters served with a smile and had good vibes. Highly recommend and will be returning.

Fun time. The food was really good and we enjoyed the conveyor belt sushi. The decor and atmosphere was also really nice. If you like sushi and a good time, I recommend a vist.

Always a great experience. Sushi is inventive and absolutely top-notch. Unique and delicious Asian cuisine that it's impossible not to enjoy.

We love it here! The food is absolutely delicious, and it’s very reasonably priced. They give you complimentary fries to start with and a yakult drink after you’re done eating, which is a really nice gesture. Ramen and sushi are AMAZING! And the vibe in the restaurant is really cool.

I don’t know when I always have spring rolls they’re small vegetable rolls especially in Chinese restaurants Thai rolls to me are usually made with rice wrappers with noodles herbs sometimes shrimp or tofu or eggs not spring rolls so when I ordered the spring rolls I was expecting Chinese style egg rolls instead of their version of Tyrone which were spring rolls thank you

Food was incredibly fresh and came out fast! Christian was our server and was attentive and genuinely kind. He made the whole experience feel extra special with his thoughtful service and positive attitude. You can tell he really cares about making people feel welcome. We will be back for sure.

Got the karaage and chicken udon Ramen. Phenomenal dish combo, saved some of the karaage to add into the ramen was a great decision.

Came here with my boyfriend on a whim the first time and love it! We try to come once a week on a day off to enjoy a tasty dinner! The portions are generous and the prices definitely affordable. We’ve had the Ramen and the bento boxes and have never been disappointed with either! Definitely need to try their sushi though

Absolutely Delicious!!!! The orange chicken was soooo flavorful and fresh. I loved it so much that I ordered some more to go. My daughter had Shrimp Tempura Miso Ramen. She's not the biggest shrimp fan but loved this soup. The food was great but the service was even better Emilio was friendly and attentive. I also noticed he was serving 5 tables by himself but still provided fast and stellar service! Whenever we're in Fort Worth, we will surely come back!

Our first time here…the ambiance was nice, super cool blue lighting effects and comfy seat cushions at our booth were much appreciated. The restaurant was small but clean. You order on an iPad menu. We were not a huge fan since we ended up calling our waiter back for questions anyway, but maybe it’s more efficient that way… 🤷🏻‍♀️ To our dismay there was no sushi on the menu but there are plenty of other food choices. We settled on the chicken/shrimp/steak friend rice..the egg and chicken pieces were large and the steak was nice and medium/rare. 👍🏼 I was happy to see udon noodles on the menu…although our waiter couldn’t tell us what vegetables were in the meal…I took a chance, turned out there were mushrooms and cabbage and a few broccolini 🤔….I liked it but maybe other people would not appreciate the surprise. Our waiter was Yudi and did a great job of making sure we were taken care of. He was very nice! The crab wontons were yummy, I'm not sure what oil they used to fry them (they were a bit greasy but still tasted good) a …quantity of 6 was perfect. Our kids loved that they had classics like orange chicken and sweet & sour as the kids meal choices. They also loved their strawberry Sangaria Ramune soda…they had plenty of choices! The orange chicken has pieces of red chili peppers in it but was not super spicy…the batter on the sweet & sour chicken was super soft and the pieces were large…as were the portions. Our 11 year old son had plenty! They had the robot deliver our food to our table which was fun. We all really liked the complimentary Cool probiotic drink Yudi gave us as well. The prices were fair and we will be back for sure!

This is an izakaya style (small plate) restaurant with an all you can eat twist. You order many small dishes off the extensive menu, but you can get as many servings that you want a few at a time. One reasonable charge covers your whole meal. I recommend giving Japan House a try.

W
Wayne

Great food, awesome service! We ordered way too much food and it was a great value for the amount we received! We had crab rangoons, fried Philly sushi rolls, dinner fries, hibachi chicken, steak yakisoba! All of it was delicious, could not finish it all, awesome service by Emilio k!!

The sign reads Japan House all you can eat. I was worried that it was going to be a typical sushi buffet. I was wrong. The food was made fresh to order and was delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff. We will be visiting more often.

I had a wonderful time at Takara Japanese restaurant for my friend’s birthday 🎂 The restaurant has a robot that delivers the food to the table, which was so cool and fun 🤖 The ambience was colorful and nice, with lovely decorations and lighting. The food was delicious and fresh, with authentic Japanese flavors and ingredients 🍣 We ordered Fried Rice with Salmon Teriyaki Bento 🍚 Steam Rice with Chicken Teriyaki Bento 🍗 and Chicken Eggroll 🥟 They were all tasty and satisfying 😋 The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed 👏 I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Japanese food and wants to have a fun and memorable time 😍. If you visit on your birthday, they take your picture and place it on the wall 😁

My Asian wife and I have been to this fairly new restaurant, about a half dozens time now. We have yet to have a bad meal. In fact, the food has been excellent every time! The owner/staff are super nice, and go out of their way to treat us well. They have a new expanded menu of options, that will definitely satisfy your taste bud cravings! ;-)

The food was amazing! We went here thinking that it was a buffet, but they no longer have the buffet they serve all you can eat here though. The service was great. I will definitely recommend and return!

My wife and I came to this wonderful place today and was amazed by how everything tasted! We had the Mega Shrimp Roll, Texan Roll, Masago Nigiri. Everything was fantastic, fresh and presented well. We also had Hot Saka our bill came to under $29.00 with a coupon that we got via email.

Absolutely love this place, they offer a menu with pictures of most rolls. The take on fries with seaweed seasoning is a great combination of flavors. Recommend the chicken karrage! Not to mention the presentations of their food is amazing. 10/10 Always will be a returning customer. (In the photo is The Spider Roll, The Texas Roll and 2 salmon nigiri)

Had a great overall experience from the moment we were greeted to the time we left. The decor is very unique and separates the hibachi tables from regular tables well. From the regular tables, you can still see the hibachi chefs "perform". It was a busy Saturday night. They really entertain you if it's your birthday with lion dance and drums. We ordered a couple of rolls, dumplings, chicken fried rice, oyster rolls and shrimp Udon which came with Miso soup. We enjoyed our meal and our waiter was very courteous and didn't over-check our table.

This location is pretty new, access to restaurant was very easy, good parking. Lunch was slow, so we got excellent service! Super attentive. Bathrooms, booths, tables, and floors all clean. We order one bento box from main menu, cocunut shrimp, was excellent and crispy. I ordered all you can eat and everything was absolutely delicious. My personal favorites were ahi tuna tower appetizer, seared beef nigiri, and hair mex roll.

Wow!! This place is amazing. Emilio is an excellent server. He’s friendly, very prompt, and so helpful. He even took our picture for when we were finished eating! Wow I came all the way from California. This place is surprising me! Food is good and affordable BEST IN ALL!!! Takara Japanese Restaurant has their authentic style. I sat on japanese style set up (TATAMI) Sushi boat is really surprisingly beautiful for any occasion. I ordered also steak and scallop and beef shrimp HIBACHI , their meat HAVE great quality , the shrimp they are jumbo. I am really satisfied over all with food quality price and staffs are friendly.

S

Food was quick and very affordable! I'm used to getting 2 nigiri for $6.50-7 and here it is 3 for $5.50. Free little basket of seasoned fries to start. Service was impeccable, very attentive and kind. I don't know how they can afford to have their prices so low, but this is great sushi for North Ft Worth. No beer or saki, but hopefully they will as some point.

C
Chad Miller

The food and service are amazing. Fresh sushi, and the cooked entrees are all spectacular as well. My son gets the beef soba noodles and the flavor of the sauce and texture of the noodles combined make it the best Asian noodle entree I've ever had. Seriously. Also, everything is more than reasonably priced. The music choice is pretty terrible, but my twelve year old daughter thinks it's the best restaurant music soundtrack she's ever heard. She knows every song and dances and sings nonstop. 😂🤷‍♂️

First time here and everything was delicious!!! We have the Farmers Orchard Roll, Tuna Killer Roll, Fried Boston Roll, Hamachi Nigiri, Gyoza and Shumai!!! Staff were super friendly!! Atmosphere was fun!! We will be back for sure!!!

Saw this place in transit and gave it a shot. The experience was outstanding. The service and food we received couldn’t have been better. Even the decorations, environment, dim lighting and general vibes were great. They have a pretty diverse menu to choose from and everything sounded good. Definitely have to return here to try more. I could feel the sushi chefs’ passion for craft and presentation, and the beef on the rock appetizer was a must, all sauces for everything were amazing too. I remember when this building was a Chinese buffet will low standards, and I’m very pleased this place appeared here!

J

I come here every other week, the food is amazing made to order! Everything is authentic and full of flavor! So fresh and a big menu to choose from. I recommend the butterfly kisses and salmon aburi! Oh and the shashu pork ramen! So good!

The All you can eat for the price can’t be beat. The Texas roll was my favorite, the poke bowl was solid as well. The server robot playing Christmas carols was a fun added touch.

Loved the place and didn't have any issues with tastes for food. All you can eat is a good way to learn some of the dishes and get a taste on quality or if you're someone like me and like to taste a bit of everything. It was a great atmosphere and even celebrate birthdays there.

I really LOVE this place! I ordered take out from here 3 times last month and the food was outstanding everytime. Seems like every other place I've eaten always gets something wrong about the order but this place never has. All my specific requests were met without a single fault which is amazing these days. The ambiance inside feels soothing and peaceful and everyone is SUPER NICE!!! I commented to some of the staff about the decor- specifically, a dragon that was on the wall, and she actually took it off the wall and put it on for me to take a photo- super sweet! I always get great vibes from here. I've had the salmon and tuna nigiri, California hand rolled sushi, chicken egg rolls, crab rangoon, and they were all just awesome.

Outstanding taste. Hibachi and Rolls are awesome to order. They serve fresh and very hot orders plus they gave freebies like french fries & pro biotic drinks at the end of orde and very affordable. Try it its great taste.

Great Japanese restaurant. I had the California roll and chicken teriyaki Bento box. For the appetizer I had the egg rolls. All of it was great. Immaculately clean place. Great friendly service. The owner actually took me to show how they are expanding the restaurant for more seating. They even gave me a probiotic drink after my meal. This is one place you will want to add to your favorites list so you can come back again.

I wanted to try something new for my birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. The food was not only delicious, but the presentation was beautiful. Our server (though he was the only one) was attentive and we got our food quickly. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved the Revolving Sushi! Pay $2.99 per plate which has 3 slices of a roll. The plates revolve around in a track and you just pick up what you want as it goes by! You can order off the touch screen and the food arrives at your table on a little train above the sushi/sashimi track. Our drinks were delivered by a robot playing music. I had 10 plates of sushi and my wife ordered egg rolls and chicken fried rice. She doesn't like sushi but did try two different rolls that were made with cooked beef so now she's been boasting that she tried and likes some sushi. Good variety of dishes from seaweed to squid salad to sashimi and traditional sushi rolls. Great atmosphere and dining options. I believe I have found my new favorite sushi place.

Very cozy and mellow vibe - I liked it here! Orlando, our server, was nice and attentive. :) He came to check on us pretty often to clean up the table and take orders. Food came out quickly; portions were small but that’s exactly how I prefer it for AYCE. They have it set for you to order 4 items at a time per person probably in order to pace ourselves and prevent any food waste. I like that. Everything tasted great - especially at the AYCE price. We’ll be back! Thank you!

I got An order of unagi don Takoyaki 3 orders of salmon nigiri 9 total and Kimichi salad. Over great food sushi was perfect salmon was very soft and tasty. 10/10 wish they had sake on menu didn't see any alcohol.

Went to the sushi side of the restaurant, was not disappointed. The atmosphere is amazing the food is spectacular! The rotating sushi bar is top notch and priced to explore all they have to offer. A train or a robot will deliver any extras from the menu you might desire. Great family for first timers or people generally new to sushi. 10/10!

Service is stellar and staff is so kind. Food is delicious. My house is closer to the Golden Triangle location, but their food and staff aren't as great. I will drive a little farther for the greatness of the Basswood location ❤️

This place is truly amazing. My family came here on a whim not knowing what to expect and it did not disappoint. The staff are so kind, constantly having a smile and helping me know what's on the menu. They were such sweethearts and checked up on us throughout the evening. The food was phenomenal. It definitely felt fresh and made with love. The decor was so cute. Ive tasted some new things here and some timeless classics. Instead of fortune cookies they give those yukult probiotic drinks and it's amazing. A true childhood classic. If you like sushi this place is 100% for you. Definitely plan to go again and maybe drag my friends along with me.

AYCE, Halloween 2025 - got a special plushie gift! Service was the best I’ve had out of any restaurants this year. Every server did their best and they even gifted us home made cookies! The food was overall better than anything buffet around the area, but one particular food was subpar. Some that were good are salmon, shoyu ramen, and the mocchi (was so tasty!). The thing that really ruined my experience was the tuna. Both the peppered and raw ones were stale and dry, which caused them to have rubber like textures. Other seafoods overall were also fresh, but had this seawater (sea salt) like taste that are often removed in Japanese cuisine. Overall, food was great and service was excellent.

First time here and wow, the food is amazing! Me and my sister ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl and the Yellowtail Poke Bowl for only $12.99 each, with avocado and crab salad mix included at no extra charge! Affordable and delicious, with generous portions of fish and a free probiotic drink. Most poke spots these days are pricey, but we were lucky to find this hidden gem. This is our new go-to Poke spot, please visit!

Overall pretty good experience! Love the atmosphere and the vibes. Reminds me of Japan. The crab rangoons lacked flavor, but their crispy texture was good. The sesame chicken with fried rice was delicious!!! Chicken was fantastic! We ordered the Fort Worth roll. Personal preference: We were not a fan of the hot and cold mixture, but the flavor was excellent. Dinner was finished with a complimentary probiotic drink. Tasty! Like pina colada & OJ. Overall great experience and will return!

Ate a late lunch. We had the all you can eat. They do offer ordering dishes off the menu if you just want to buy a dish or two. The next room is revolving sushi experience where you pull your dishes off a belt moving beside your table and pay per plate you pull. About $21 per person for the all you can eat lunch. Lots of choices but not as many compared to Japan House. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. I recommend this restaurant.

We came in for lunch around noon and the atmosphere was lovely. I tried my best to show as much respect for the restaurant as I could. I enjoyed that they had the original iron chef playing on the TV, I really enjoyed the entire experience. We sat on the raised table where you had to take off your shoes and it felt very traditional and lovely. The food presentation was beautiful and the food was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely return.

L
Lisa

The foods was good and fresh. The portion of the dishes was a good amount. Giving only 4 stars because the service was ok. And I didn't care for how one of the server treated a couple. The couple waited and waited, the server ignored them therefore they got up and walkout.

A
Agatha Lim

Personally, the food was okay, but I don’t feel it’s any different from other sushi restaurants at this level. I understand that I cannot expect it to be an authentic sushi restaurant either. However, I love the service—it’s very fast, and the sushi is fresh, which is the most important thing. I’ll come back to try their AYCE.

M
Michi Michi

For AYCE, it's overall alright, 5.5/10. The food we ordered was brought out to us by the conveyer belt section that had been sitting for a long time. (If i wanted conveyer belt sushi, i would have sat in that section) The waiters looked short staffed for a weekend day. Some things we ordered never made it to our table. We had to wait over 10 min each after we finished out limited 4 items each round for waiter to come back. The sashimi was thickly sliced, 7/10. Overall freshness is questionable. The pork chashu ramen was disappointing, standard ayce ramen noodle and broth 3/10.

P
Patricia Camilleri

Food was delicious. Wish I could have given 5 stars but nothing else besides the food was good. The server could either not hear us or didn't understand anything we said. She even asked at one point if what we asked for was on the menu, had to point it out and she still got it wrong. Ordering was harder then it needed to be as was paying. Apparently two people can't charge a card. After jamming it into the card reader and swiping it roughly far too many times to count my husband had to literally do it himself.

S
Steve K.

We came here on a whim after looking at homes one weekend. The food was decent, I ordered a lobster tonkotsu ramen and it did not disappoint. It arrived with a heaping warm water lobster tail over a large bowl of ramen. The service, though, was excellent. I think our server was Merry, and she was very attentive, checking on us repeatedly.

N
Nadar Abu-dail

First time here. Amazing friendly staff. Place ambiance was really nice. Sushi was good. Habachi order was really good but one thing i didn’t like was teriyaki sauce was gooey. But i do recommend this place. Scallops were awesome.

K
Koonma Souriya

Found this place off of IG and wanted to try it out. The service, layout and atmosphere were very mellow. Lunch was $21+ per person or you could order from the Dinner menu as well for $10+ more per person. The food was good and presentable but the flavor was still not 100% authentic compared to places I’ve gone to before in and out of the states. I gave it 4 stars because I the tempura shrimp ended up being over fried battered shrimp and the Tower (in pics that looks like a sushi cake) was very liquidy and was nowhere near what was expected. The deserts and edamame were super delicious too! Drinks were quite expensive but expected. Next door they also have a rotating sushi belt restaurant (same restaurant but different theme) I may try later.

L

Japan House was a great experience! 9/10 on everything. It was busy for the AYCE dinner. Everything else was excellent! I wanted the food delivered by “Bella” the Robot but only got a couple videos.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. The woman who took care of me was polite and checked in often. The ramen was good. Not a huge portion size, but I appreciated that. I didn't stick around for very long. I'd come back to try the sushi.

Food was good. The sushi was a little salty for me, but still very good. The buffet is a little pricy, so come starving. It appears they have seat cushions for you, otherwise hard wooden seats.

The salmon was just okay and I didn't like the fried rice at all. However, my serving partner was excellent. Photo of the soup and salad..

Still on the search for an AYCE sushi but this is close. The sushi wasn't as "fresh" tasting as I would have liked. Some of the dishes tasted like they had been sitting and waiting to be served. The calamari was a little chewy, and the tuna was definitely not freshly sliced. Overall I think I'll return unless I find a better AYCE place.

J
J L

It was ok. The steak was very tough and the egg rolls a tad bit salty. VERY heavy on the veggies, which I don’t mind, just FYI, you’re not getting a lot of protein with this one guys.

Y

Some sushi (scallops and salmon) were delicious. Liked the decor and bullet trains delivering orders! Pricy compared to Kura. Miso ramen looked very unappetizing.

I have always been an avid supporter of Takara. Can’t remember how many times I been there.! But recently the service especially today when I went for lunch was just HORRIBLE! Before they changed it to “eat all you can” servers were really nice, polite and friendly. But today that “girl” serving me seems to be so unhappy with what she’s doing! I hope they can be reminded to be “pleasant” and courteous to their customers at all times. Not paying attention on this matter may result of them loosing more customers even if their food is good.

V
Vivian Nguyen

I was drawn to one particular dish here, so my husband and I decided to try the AYCE. There is a limit on the number of items you can order (which I understand), but compared to other places we’ve been, the limit here is very low. The food came out very slowly, one item at a time, which honestly killed the excitement of eating. The sashimi was dry. Oh, and they were apparently very “thoughtful” — knowing that I was going to order fried sushi, they must have fried it in the morning and saved it until dinner to serve me. It was cold, soggy, and lifeless. Was it even freshly fried? When it was time to pay, they added French fries to the bill ( bc they still have half ?) When I questioned it, the staff quickly printed a different receipt and said it was a mistake. I would not recommend the AYCE here if you’re looking to enjoy sushi unless you’d rather leave feeling frustrated instead of satisfied.

Shelley Vasquez
Shelley Vasquez

Food was good, service was good. Unfortunately, I'm giving the atmosphere a low rating due to the fact they chose to have a particularly unsavory political event on almost all the televisions. If we had not already started our meal, we would have walked out. Restaraunts need to be very aware of the message they are sending by what they show on any television in the establishment. We won't be back.

M
Michelle V

Takara gets a B+ for presentation, service and complimentary fries but that’s where it ends. As regular sushi eaters, we love trying new spots and really wanted to love this place because it is close to our house. We dined in on Friday for dinner and got the sashimi deluxe, geisha roll, chicken wings, and gyoza. Most of the food was under seasoned or lacked flavor. The rice around the sushi roll was soggy and under seasoned. The most disappointing part of our meal was the low quality fish they used for their sashimi. My husband and I both found fish bones in our sashimi while trying to chew and stomach the bad cuts of fish. It was so bad that we didn’t bother to take leftovers home. I hope the other menu items are better but I would not come here for the sushi. I hope the person in charge of food quality reads this so they can improve.

Not the best experience honestly. Spending $60 on three plates with barely any rice, and only 6 shrimp for the shrimp hibachi plates, just wasn't ideal nor worth it to me. They only give you the small styrofoam cases for your rice. I believe 2-3 of the dollars spent was on white sauce because it doesn't come with it (my first time having hibachi that didn't come with it) and they didn't even give us all of our white sauces and the little cups weren't full. My steak wasn't well done, and I'm pregnant so I wasn't able to eat the whole thing. The steak wasn’t cut (not too much of a big deal) and it was full of fat. Overall just disappointed, I should've ate elsewhere.

Sadly I won’t be back. The kung pow steak was incredibly bland and over taken by barely cooked carrot chunks. Basically inedible. I don’t know how they can call this orange chicken when, I kid you not it’s 80% breading. There is hardly any chicken. The fried chicken appetizer was just burnt chicken nuggets. For the price this is disappointing.

We were on the “revolving sushi“ side of the restaurant Service was slow Every time the kimchi rolled by, the odor was very offensive. It’s enough to choose not to come back The items I liked were usually taken before the revolving belt got to me. Had several tasty items and asked if i could have some sent directly to me. They said to go next door and place a to go order.. Was kind of shocked by that response. If the intermittent smell of string kimchi doesn’t bother you, ask to sit at the start of the revolving belt in my opinion.

The sushi here is very basic. Grocery store type sushi. Not much selection. The pickled ginger was definitely not good, it smelled like a wet old rag and I could smell it as soon as I sat down. The service was decent and the technology was good with the bullet train bringing food from the kitchen to your table as well as a robot that would bring items to your table. The price was reasonable but we will not be coming back here.

Bad service, even worse food. This is not the first time I’ve been here which is why I am so disappointed that this was my experience last night. Hair was found in multiple plates of food and not even so much as a sorry from the server or kitchen. We got the AYCE and the server only came around once or twice so I do not feel like I made the most out of my $33. Safe to say my friends and I will not be returning.

I seriously love sushi, and since this place is located near me and had good reviews I thought, why not? Now I know this is an all you can eat place, so I can't expect the highest quality. This food is worse than gas station sushi... Seriously. I tried 3-4 different sashimi dishes and all of those taste like a dirty fish tank. The fish has no flavor, it just tastes like fish that has been thrown out by a restaurant, and this place dumpster dove to serve it to me. The sushi somehow tastes like nothing??? I genuinely have no way to describe it other than imagine a flavorless mush in your mouth. They try and hide the flavor with strong sauces, but that's not what I came here for. I like the taste of fish, and want to taste it. If you want sushi/sashimi, don't even bother. The only positive I have is that the staff is quick and friendly, but the food should have this place shut down.

This was not a great experience chicken and shrimp smelled and tasted awful like it was rotten.

The food is terrible. The only slightly good thing there was the salmon sashimi, the rolls are ok. the shasimi are not as fresh as they should be, Black pepper Tuna Tataki tasted like it was rotten, the short rib was wayyyy too salty and over cook, the chicken are undercooked. Dont fall for their flashy good looking photos on the website, they all end up tasting terrible

We were in the Fort Worth area today and decided to order take out from this establishment. I ordered a speciality roll that was good but I ordered my husband his favorite hibachi ( Filet Mignon.. medium rare)..what he received was a chunk of meat..a roast! The meat was well done and I had to try and cut it up for him but it just shredded cause it was a freaking roast! How do you f'up giving us some roast cut of meat instead of filet mignon! What a waste! Never again!

The food was dry and not good, service was horrible. They didn’t want to replace what I ordered, would never recommend this place. I posted a pic of what I ordered and what I received 2 completely different dishes, I tried to make it better and add sauce, sweet and sour there was an extra charge for that. Food was not good horrible presentation and terrible service

Don’t ever come here for all you can eat you will definitely be disappointed. Service is beyond terrible. I went for lunch around 2:30 two servers couldn’t handle 4 tables. 20-25 min wait

I used to love coming here all the time, when I heard that they were doing an "all you can eat" thing I got excited. Me and my boyfriend decided to come here for dinner and we saw that they started it today, but they told us it was $30 PER PERSON so we decided to just order from the "regular" menu. When we were ordering I asked for what I usually get which is the udon but I was told the udon soup and ramen are only on the all you can eat menu. So I decided to get the JP family style tofu, and that's not on the regular menu either. Update: we were just served our food and the portions are RIDICULOUSLY small for what we are paying for, they don't even give you sauce anymore with the appetizers, they used to put it on top and in the little side dish (shown in images below). My bf ordered the orange chicken but it was nothing but breading. Also the orange chicken used to come with a large side of broccoli, be now you only get one piece of broccoli. There's barley anything worthwhile on the menu anymore. Don't come here it's a waste of time

This was my first time visiting this restaurant I did order my food to go. However, when I got home, my food was an epic fail. I spent $38 for food that should not have been served my shrimp in appearance look like shrimp, but it was a rubber ball. The mouthful of the shrimp didn’t even feel like shrimp. I think this shrimp came from overseas and it was something that was created in a lab I do appreciate the probiotic juices that they put in the bag when you purchase food. I’ve never had a restaurant serve probiotics with a meal I see why because this food is pure garbage.

I used to love coming here for a good bowl of ramen, but they changed it to a very expensive all you can eat menu instead. I’m sure the food is still good but if you only want one dish it’s a total scam now. Sad to see a good place make such a poor decision. EDIT: I am bringing this down to 1 star. I cannot believe how awful and overcooked the chashu was in the tonkotsu, it was basically bacon and just downright inedible. I don't know if they changed chefs or what, but it was the worst ramen i have ever eaten. Bland, overcooked meat, a very low amount of broth, missing egg. Disappointing.

By far the worst experience I have had eating in a long time. 1st set of our order didn't show up for an hour, did not even receive half of what we ordered. Going to take 2 hours for whatever food that takes way too long to get. Don't know what happened here place used to be amazing and it's absolutely awful now, fries are store bought and frozen now. Go to Kura or Japan House instead. We will never be back

My family has been coming here for a couple Of years but unfortunately last night was the last time, we like to do the all You can eat so both adults and kids have lots to choose from, unfortunately it looks like new owners took over and many of the dishes we have come to enjoy are completely different then they have been in the past, on top of it it took over an hour to receive our first round of orders when usually you get 3 rounds of orders in that time, then we only received part of what was ordered, after being there for 2 hours and still only getting through part of 2 rounds of orders we left with some of my kids still hungry from not receiving the items ordered. At least 6 different dishes we normally got have now changed to where they are clearly buying what looks like Costco versions of items and then heating them up which is fine but I can do that at my house in half the time and a quarter of the price.

I went with my family consist of two adults and two kids. We decided with the sushi train side. There were not a lot selection and sushi rolls were mid and not fresh. Additionally, all the fried food were over cooked which we returned twice. Biggest thing was the server never check on us or clean our dishes. But he automatically put on service charge on our bill. Never again will I come back this place

Was first time coming here. I am a huge sushi fan. And I know how Japanese buffet works. I also work in a restaurant. I was very disappointed with my experience. There is maybe 12 tables and only 6 were being used. 3 per server. I was the 2nd table to my server. The server repeated everything we ordered back while putting it in his tablet. He brought us 11 things total out of 30 items and only 6 of them were right. I repeatedly kept asking for what I had already asked for. At the end I told him i never got what I asked for. I was was polite and we ate everything he brought us even though we didnt order it He brought us the check and then brought me 1 thing I had asked for by then it was already too late. We still tipped and thanked him. We will not be returning.

My husband and I had decided to have a late lunch and are very disappointed with our first time at this restaurant. We got the all you can eat sushi , and noticed you can only order four “rolls” aka 2 pieces at a time. By the time you got your first order and finished it was another 10 minutes in between the next. So you would forget what you would order and don’t even know if it was correct. The fish was not fresh, it was very rubbery, and the soy sauce was bad on the table. The fried food was not crunchy and seemed to have been cooked hours before and it’s set. The waitress didn’t say more than five words to us the entire time. For spending $70 on dinner we were not impressed at all.

Me and my husband are BIG on sushi. We just moved to the area and were wanting to try this restaurant since it is literally 3 minutes away from us in hopes that it can be are new go to place since we no longer live near Mulan (located in Lakeworth). What can I say besides we were disappointed. On first entering we noticed that they have a separate section where they do a revolving sushi conveyor belt but we decided to try the actually restaurant side first by ordering off the regular menu. We ordered the appetizers, gyoza and crab rations, which was just meh. Gyoza has no real flavor to be honest unlike other sushi places where this dish is BURSTING with juices/flavor while the crab ragoons had a cold center. My husband ordered the crab meat roll and the lava roll whereas I ordered the hibachi steak that came with a miso soup and side salad. The crab roll had this unappealing white sauce that threw off the crab flavor due to being way too sweet. The lava roll was wrapped in aluminum foil which gives the impression that it’s a baked roll however it was not. It was just cold slop thrown together in what appears to be a sushi lasagna which was not worth a bite. My miso soup came out lukewarm and tasted like a watered down version. And the worst dish had to be the steak hibachi. The steak itself was cold and had a sweet taste to it which is not usual at least compared to all the hibachi sushi places we frequent. The mushrooms and broccoli weren’t cooked fully either. The side salad wasn’t too bad. Overall, we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat this food much less put it into to go boxes just to throw away later. We were honest to our server who just offered us a free dessert but we declined because if the main dishes aren’t good the dessert is not gonna be any better. Not wanting to waste anymore of our dinner time we just paid the 60$ bill despite not really eating and just drove the 25 mins to get much better sushi/hibachi that cost us less and actually was satisfying. Maybe it was an off night seeing as they had a lot of customers. There has to be something good if they are still able to maintain customers and a decent rating but unfortunately we did not have that experience.

We went back for the second time but unfortunately the food and preparation suddenly changed. This is the only sushi all you can eat that you wouldn’t enjoy it if they handled the costumer with care. The rice is bigger and you can’t afford to order again. We don’t recommend this sushi place because the taste wasn’t good at all and they served uncooked crab Rangoon. The rename isn’t fresh at all. It’s dinner time and now we understand why it looks empty. The server is kind but the food isn’t a place to be recommended.

Sadly, I need to retract my previous outstanding reviews. My daughter and I went again for dinner this evening and it started out good. We both received our drinks and appetizers and Ramen. My daughter ordered a handroll and a couple of sushi pieces and I ordered sashimi. My daughter's pieces came out, however no sashimi. We were enjoying conversation and decided to give the staff a little extra time. When I inquired about the sashimi, the server told me the order didn't come through so she reordered and my daughter placed another order. Again, her pieces came out and no sashimi to be found and the server would order again. I was now hungry, and when I asked again, I asked for a manager because now this becoming a problem. The server said that it wasn't her problem so I responded with I didn't think it was fair to charge me for AYCE when nothing I ordered after an appetizer had been brought out. A manager came out and said there was a problem with their ticketing system and they had new staff in the back. One flaw in this explanation is that only our orders seemed to have a problem. After some back and forth, the manager said that she would only charge for one person. I agreed as it was only fair since my daughter did receive most of her orders. Here's the kicker. I was still pretty hungry so I took a bite from my daughter's plate. The same manager wasted no time in questioning me and telling me that it was against policy to share food. At this point I became very frustrated and responded with, "I've been here several times with great experiences and because you don't have your act together, I'm the one being harassed." I asked for the check so that I can leave and find dinner elsewhere. I will leave my original review and pictures appended, however, I am extremely frustrated, disappointed, and have never experienced such poor treatment with the worst customer service ever! They certainly haven't given me a reason to return. ------------------------------------- Stopped in for AYCE Sushi lunch with my daughter this week. Our server was friendly and outgoing and checked on us often. The decor is modern and they have a good variety of music playing in the background. The nigiri was fresh and the rolls and ramen were flavorful. The only downside is that all of the sashimi appetizers and dishes were for dinner only, but we will definitely be back!
