I had 2 piece fish with 2 sides and a drink (6.49). It was fresh and delicious. Best prices, clean dining room, friendly employees and good food. You can't go wrong. 5-8 mothers day took 2 nieces from Florida here before their flight home. Everything was hot and fresh except the rolls. Good as always.

My daughter and I ordered the 5 piece chicken tender dinner with 2 sides and a drink and not only were we amazed at the price, as well as the portion size, but the flavor was better than the other fast food chicken places around here. We will be back to try other menu items very soon. Lisa's Chicken and Seafood is definitely in our top 5 places to eat on the go.

Amazing price for the quality & amount of food that we got! The line was wrapped around the bldg and in to the street but we were in and out in about 4 min. The extremely busy gentleman that took our order was personable, helpful, friendly, and got our order 100% correct. He mentioned that his wife worked there as well, which is a huge plus for me as I prefer to support mom & pop businesses. Especially when they are genuinely better in all area’s than the box chains. If you haven’t been to Lisa’s chicken on 35 & Western Center you are missing out!

The atmosphere of these restaurants are nothing to write home about. But the food is fantastic always hot and fresh. Great portions and absolutely delicious best chicken in Texas, for a takeout place. The people are always nice courteous knowledgeable and very helpful. No matter if you make a special order or not you get your food in a very timely matter. I recommend Lisa's Pizza for anybody who loves fried chicken, fried fish, oh yes and by the way they have chicken livers!!!!

I’ve eaten at this location a few times now and haven’t been disappointed yet. So far the best service at this particular location and the food is always piping HOT! Great location, right off the highway. Easy access from the service road and at night it’s well lit. 5 starts from me. Right now comparing like restaurants, they have the Mac n Cheese on lock for a drive thru. The prices are reasonable and portion sizes are exceptional compared to other places. I’d definitely continue to visit this store, not only for the tasty food but the customer service has always been on point.

The chicken is excellent; very crispy and flavorful. They are the perfect amount of moist to where the breasts aren't dry, but the dark pieces don't leak either. The rolls and potatoes were average, but the crinkle fries were good. The prices are very budget friendly, with decent meals/specials (example, 10 pieces of dark, 2 sides, 4 rolls, and a 2 liter for about $16).

Absolutely the best fried chicken in any restaurant, fast food or otherwise. All of the side orders I’ve tried have been delicious as well. I’ve tried several different locations, and they’re pretty much all as good as the others. Their fish and shrimp are also delicious. The prices are really good too, much less expensive than Popeyes or Chicken Express. Service is always great, too. Highly recommended!!!

Chicken is always hot and fresh. Chicken gizzards are cooked when ordered and are super hot and fresh. Have to wait a few extra minutes to order gizzards, but they are with the wait. And the serving size of gizzards is enough for 2. Great place.

Yo, this fried chicken is the bomb! The taste is unreal. I always get ten pieces of all white meat, even though it costs three bucks more for the breast. The batter seeps into the chicken, and every bite is like a flavour explosion. The mash potatoes is a no-go for us, little too wet. The only downside is the wait time. If you go during dinnertime, between five and seven-thirty, be prepared to wait at least twenty minutes for your order. But trust me, it's worth it. The seating is like a fast-food joint, and most people just get takeout. This is my fifth time ordering from them, and I'll definitely be back for more.

Hot wings are my go to here. Consistently good. They also serve crinkle fries which bring back fond childhood memories. Oh and the fried fish is really good as well. Don't frequent the place as often as I used to as I'm trying to eat healthier. For those moments of weakness, these guys deep fry with the best of them. A true guilty pleasure.

This Lisa's Chicken is one of the very few places you can get good reasonably fast food catfish. Overall, the food at this location is always good, and they offer options that are difficult to find good versions of elsewhere. Food is still good but service has been getting worse and worse of late.

Lisa's Chicken is so good. I love fried chicken and was not disappointed here. Each bite was so juicy. The jalapeño was delicious too. I ordered coleslaw and fried okra. You already know they were both great picks. I can fully recommend the fried chicken. I would go out on a limb and say everything is amazing here. Stop by and see for yourself.

The food was great and affordable, the food took around 10 minutes to come out which isn’t fast food quick but still pretty great time. The food was absolutely amazing, the fish was great and the fried chicken was pretty excellent too. The okra was amazing and same with the hushpuppies, the mac n cheese was a little bland but still good nonetheless. The only thing I would pass on would be the French fries as they were just a little bland and the texture just wasn’t doing it for me. I would totally recommend this place and definitely eat here again!

Looks like a mom and pop shop/restaurant. Plenty of seating inside and well lit. Ordered fish, fries, and mashed potatoes. I had a little trouble communicating while ordering. Order came out quickly. Food was super hot and once it cooled a bit I got to enjoy supper good fried fish. On the negative side the dining area was just a bit messy and the restroom was dirty. I did enjoy the food here though and it was a good value.

Let me start off with saying their fried chicken is toddler approved. My little one is very picky, but this chicken was so good he cleaned the bone! We had originally stopped at the restaurant next door, but the food smelled so good my family decided to pick up food here instead. We were traveling so we opted out dining inside . We picked up one of the family chicken deals and it came with rolls. We also grabbed some hot wings and a 6 piece fried shrimp which was about 30 something dollars. The fried shrimp was seasoned really well with a nice crunch on the batter. 8/10. The Hot wings was ok. To me they had a weird taste, my husband absolutely loved them. 7/10. I didn’t get a chance to try the fried chicken but my kids both enjoyed it so much they asked for seconds and they’re both picky eaters. 10/10 The rolls weren’t good at all to me. They were gummy and didn’t taste like they were cooked properly. 4/10. Overall I would return to Lisa’s to try other items when we’re in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

This was my 1st ever visit to Lisa’s Chicken. I’m from the south & I grew up on fried chicken & okra, so that’s what I came for. I ordered the 2 piece mixed with mashed potatoes, okra & a roll. The meal was priced under $7 which was nice. Everything was hot &tasted good. My only issue was that I paid extra for “mixed”chicken to try both their white & dark meat. They gave me a wing and thigh, a combo that I’ve never gotten before ordering mixed chicken before. I was expecting a breast piece in the mix, so I told the cashier. He claimed the wing was my piece of white meat & that was that. So if you want chicken breast at this place, apparently you need to specify that when you order or you’ll end up with a wing instead.

First of all, let me start by saying, just because a business has multiple locations, doesn't mean they are all the same. The first time I went to Lisa's I went to the location in Haltom City. I will admit they have their good and bad days but I didn't give up on them since the good outweighed the bad. So, today I decided to visit the location off of I-35 near Western Center. I read the reviews and there was mixed feelings. A lot of the negative reviews spoke of their service at the drive thru. I went inside. Everything was clean and the dining area was very bright and inviting. There were even flowers on the table? I ordered my food and immediately checked it before I left. That's the key. Everything appeared fresh. When I got home to eat, I was very satisfied. The chicken was well cooked and juicy and the okra was not greasy or over seasoned. The only issue I had was with the macaroni and cheese. The one in Haltom City is better. The earlier you go, the better. The food is fresher. If you go later in the evening, don't be lazy...go inside and make sure you are getting what you want. Let them see you. They get overwhelmed but they also have a responsibility to provide good customer service and quality food no matter what time of the day or night you go.

My friend surprised me today by getting a lunch from Lisa's. I had been telling her that i want to try this place since the time they opened 2 (approx) months back. She got me, 6 piece shrimp dinner that comes with dinner roll and 2 sides ( green beans and fries) she got for me. It was a perfect comfort food, all fried and satisfying! Some days we got to indulge and food from this place is apt for that.

They have a good size fish fillet and it's seasoned well. The fried okra is also good. I have not been disappointed yet coming here.

I ask for catsup, the girl at the window said, "it's in the bottom of the bag." When I got home there was no catsup, napkins, eating utensils, and I was not given a receipt. Food is very good but someone on the road would have to eat their mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese with their hands!

I did ask for crispy. I could tell it was all the chicken already cooked.. but was redipped when ordered. It had kinda a burnt redip taste.. Corn and mash with white gravy. Gizzard with okra. A good portion. Overall, it was really good. Tables needed tended to. But I will definitely try again.

Order was ready on arrival. I ordered a 5 piece mixed and a side of corn nuggets. When I went to pickup the total was higher than a dinner w/2 sides. So, I added a side of okra. The total was the same. When I questioned the total, I was told there was an up charge for the corn nuggets. When I ordered, there was no mention of an up charge for certain menu items. Beware! Beware! Beware!

Was my first time here at Lisa's. Chicken is OK, kind of comparable to Chicken express but not as flavorful. Chicken express gravy and rolls are way better than this place. So if there is a Chicken Express near you, go there instead. If Babe's is closer, totally go there.😁😁😁

Ordered 24-piece chicken 5 piece catfish 12 piece gizzard with french fries my kids at the fish did not taste like fish did not eat cooking grease running out the side of the box.

I go here often. Some days are good and some aren't. It just depends on who's working. I went 10/18/2021 @ 830pm and I asked for a 5pcs dark chicken only and I received chicken that wasn't very fresh. Make sure you ask for fresh chicken the 20 mins is worth the wait.

Food is great but they consistently do not have food ready by the time they open at 10am. The only reason I come at this time because they’re the only place that open to serve lunch at 10am in order for me to bring to my kid for their lunch in time. But every time I come they make me wait 10-20 min for the chicken to cook. I suggest they prioritize their time better to come in earlier to have the chicken ready right at 10am when they open. That’s my only complain but overall the food is good.

We ordered two/ 2 piece white chicken combos w/sweet tea. One with okra & fries. One with corn nuggets & fries. The fries and corn nuggets were okay. The okra was burnt and the chicken was old. We ate it because we paid for it, but we won’t be going back. This was our first time trying Lisa’s, and we are very disappointed.

The line for my first visit through the drive thru wasn't so pleasant. They only have one type of chicken which is fried crispy. No spicy wish Popeyes was closer

The employees were all very friendly. Only 2 cars in the drive-thru, didn't look like many people inside, but was still a significant wait. Sides (fries, coleslaw, and poppers) all tasted good. The fish wasn't great. Very mushy (although the batter was crispy) and had an off taste to it. Probably will not return unless it's for the sides.

I'm giving Lisa's chicken and seafood two stars. I've only eaten there twice and the items selected are just meh. The sausage on a stick is way too salty. The hot wings just don't make the cut in the flavor department. I'll give them one more try before I call it quits. Overall I'm not impressed.

I have been going to the Western Center location for awhile and 6 of the last 10 visits has resulted in a large decline in quality. I went December 24 at 11:25 a.m., thinking the chicken should be fresh. I ordered the 10 piece chicken and 8 of 10 pieces were not edible. The chicken was barely warm and the chicken was so dry from the heat lamps it could not be cut with a knife. The only reason I didn't take it back was I didn't want to make the 15 minute drive back and because it was Christmas eve. Their corn on the cob has become routinely dry and old. The cole slaw is normally good and the prices are reasonable. But if it is not edible, it's a waste of money. Normally I chop it up and add to my 4 dog's food, but this time it was not fit for them. Getting tired of wasting my money. When you complain to them, they will give you the money back, but they make no attempt to apologize nor keep you as a customer. Soon to be a non repeat customer.

My husband goes to Lisa's orders shrimp chicken,fish and fried okra. It took them along time to bring it to the car. We got home and there's no shrimp. They gave us the sauces for it. But no shrimp. This has happened before. And the worker Ms act as though it our fault and they can't understand us when we ask for them to make it right. We spend good money at this establishment and expect better service. No one wants to have to keep coming back to get our food correct.

Came at late afternoon to have take out order. I had ordered the wings, shrimps, fish, and paid for the order, but ended up they did not have any fish in my take out. I only realized that until I get home. So, shame on me that I did not double check the order. Anyhow, the chickens and shrimps were as not good as expected. It seems like they used the old oil, so that failed me the second time. All in all, this is an experiment that I would not want to come back again.

Because this tastes like the distant cousin of Church’s Chicken….the one you only call when you're out of options. It will fill the hunger void, and the price is definitely right. But honestly? The Vietnamese employee with glasses is very mean. I asked for swapping biscuit to one more jalapeño which most employees can do that for me, but he rejected and gives me the tiniest one and gives me a creepy smile . Worst employee over there I ever seen.

I ordered the 15 chicken tenders and the Chicken was cold and very thin. This is the third time I come to Lisa’s and every time I get cold chicken. I pull up to the window and they always hand it to me super quick. You can tell their chicken has been sitting there for a couple of hours. Not impressed. Rather go somewhere else.

If you are make it over to this place, you will be in for a rude awakening. Some young spoiled teenage girl made sure we never come back here. An attitude that might be typical for a little girl, those 'moody bratty kids' have no place in business. I assume a relative of the owner, this person clearly doesn't want to be there.

I went to Lisa's for the first time today. The white meat chicken was dry and tasted old like it had been under warming lights for hours. The mashed potatoes were tasteless and most likely instant. The okra was old and hard. The corn on the cob was over cooked, dry and had so much oil or butter on it to disguise the dryness, it tasted greasy. I ordered lemon pie, but got apple. However, the ice tea wasn't tolerable. KFC is so much better. I live close to Babe's. I don't have to eat food that aweful. Needless to say, I will NOT go back to Lisa's Chicken again.

I grew up broke in north side where we were treated good. I came to the new one by 35 g & western center. They were rude!! I was trying to ask politely and the girl.cut me off! I would rather go all the way to North side than to stop close to home and get treated like this.

The lady who was taking orders in the drive through was rude and she was rushing us. The order was wrong she gave us catfish even though we didn't order it. She gave us ice even though we said no ice. The paper on the straw smelled like an dirty old fish tank. The catfish was cold, greasy a soggy. No salt on the fries. They couldn't even bother to close the containers right so food fell out in the bag. No salt packets and no napkins at all. The food was hanging outside to go boxes. She quickly handed the bag of food and drinks to my mom like they were about to close in like 3 seconds even though they closed at at 9:30. It was 8:27 when we got our food when we went through the drive-thru. There's no need to rush us at all and there's no need to push the drinks nearly into my mom's face. I WOULD NOT EAT HERE AT ALL.

Girl at the drive-through was rude. Called to speak to the manager about my service. A male answered the phone- I asked to speak to a manager he stated he was the manager I’ve then asked for his name he responded with what happened and I said is what happened your name? To which he responded why do you need my name. To which I responded I would just like to know who I’m talking too. Then he continued to be evasive. The foods not bad but the Service was the worst

This location isn’t good anymore. None of the food is fresh. The fish tasted like it was old and put in the microwave when I placed the order. The livers tasted like they were 3 days old. The fries and the okra wasn’t fresh. I should get a refund for this last order. I’m definitely not going back.
