Simply an amazing introduction for me to texas tacos. Staff were friendly and patient with all my questions. Came multiple times my first week visiting TX. Trompo and barbacoa were my favorites. And the breakfast tacos were amazing too! Also... get a churro, hot and delicious.

Bomb tacos, we went on Valentine’s Day they even gave me a rose and a heart shaped container. Would recommend to everybody.❤️

It's inside a gas station, so little seating. Food was ok. I feel it was over priced for what you get. The trompo was blah. They gave me the burnt ends which was I guess the first slices from the trompo. Taste was ok. 18$ for 4 tacos and a drink, I feel is over priced.

Why did you guys charge me extra on an online to-go order for literally nothing AFTER I made the full payment? Give me my money back.

We had a large meal for pickup. Tacos were very small for the price and barely any meat on them. Lengua was practically burned. Chicharron was still hard. Women who were working had bad attitudes. I requested to purchase nachos and one of the ladies gave an attitude. I asked her if she was mad and she said "no, just pay". This was on Hemphill in Ft Worth. The one close to my house in Desoto is much much better. Will not go back to the one on Hemphill. DO BETTER

Lots of good reviews but not worth it - the food was mid. The aguas are a powder mix, no Mexican cokes available. The torta had no avocado and the onions and jalapenos are not grilled. Not enough taco meat and the salsas are premade packets, not fresh cups.

I have came to this location multiple times and a young man has always been the one to attend me. He has always been very nice, respectful and always cooks the food to perfection. Today 2/15/2026, I was looking forward since noon to visit one of my most favorite restaurants during the evening time to enjoy my Sunday that had already been going well. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed this time to the point that I will never buy food from this location again all because of one individual. Mind you I have been to other Taxco locations including this one and have never gotten the treatment that this rude lady gave me. First of all, the moment we made eye contact she instantly seem annoyed just because she was in the middle of cleaning. Before we made eye contact she was smiling and having a good time talking with her co worker... First thing that was said was when I asked her what time they close since she seemed upset that she had to do her job. She then said at 9:30pm and I was there around 8:30pm. I was not going to order if she said they closed sooner but I thought there was still plenty of time for me to order especially since I had already checked the closing time on google maps prior to coming which shows as 10:00pm. I asked for a torta then told her to remove the onions and jalapenos. I then had to repeat myself 3 times because she was not understanding me which I have no problem with doing but every time she asked me she kept getting worse with the attitude. Spanish is my first language and I speak and write it very fluently so no it was not that. Once she finally put my order down she then instantly wanted to charge me instead of asking me if I wanted anything else. I told her I was not done and she got annoyed again then I told her I wanted 3 tacos de barbacoa and an agua de horchata. Again, I had to repeat what drink I wanted 2 times and my order of tacos an additional time and to be completely honest I was nice the entire time to her and she still found a reason to be rude to me... I used to work at a restaurant and can understand that the food industry can be very stressful which is why I'm always extra nice to the employees anytime I go out to eat. I was about to not pay and leave because I was so frustrated but I kept my cool by not showing any emotions like she was showing and decided to stay and pay. The total came out to $30 and I still left a 5 dollar tip in the hopes that she would make the food right because I was so hungry. There we're obviously no other orders considering the fact that the first thing I saw was them cleaning when I walked in. She still somehow put jalapenos in my food which I cannot eat due to a stomach issue. I did not mention my health issue to her so I get that to her it was not important but what strikes me is how is it possible that you have no other orders and you still made my torta wrong? It felt like at that point she was being petty and did it on purpose. Even after taking off the jalapenos my stomach still hurt. I was tempted to go back and have her remake my order but I do not like wasting food and still ate it. My order at Taxco has never been made wrong EVER up until today. I am not expecting her to get fired and could care less if she does or not but the only way that I will ever eat at this location again and delete this terrible 1 star review is when she no longer works there. I would rather drive to the Arlington location that is half an hour farther away from my home than to have to deal with her again. No one has ever made me this upset at any restaurant that I have been to. Owner if you care enough to know who it was, once again this was on a Sunday 2-15-2026 around 8:30pm and there we're 2 females working. The one that rudely attended me has a bigger build than the other lady.
