We had the BEST TIME! Alejandra made our drinks PERFECTLY!!! (Iced cappuccino and hot chocolate) and was SO kind and attentive. We are out of town sadly but we will 1000% be coming back. The food was amazing, the service was even better!!

We have a men’s group that meets once a month at the “Original pancake House” We have the same waitress every time ,Cierra Who does an excellent job of keeping Our drink glasses and coffee cups full. She always gets the orders correct and provides outstanding service. The food is excellent and we always look forward to this event every month.

My wife and I come here at 1-2x a month. They have the best omelette’s and pancakes of any restaurant we’ve been to. Our favorite is the Mediterranean Omelette, which comes with a side of 3 buttermilk pancakes. We usually split a plate because the omelette is massive. Andrea was our waitress today and she did an incredible job. I highly recommend this place.

I ordered the classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, and buttermilk pancakes. Simple breakfast, but far from simple taste. Everything was packed with flavor! Our kids had the chocolate chip pancakes, and they loved them. The coffee is fantastic here. Service: we always appreciate a place that is good with kids, and this is one of them. They gave us enough seating in the back of the restaurant, so we didn’t have to worry about our kids bothering other tables. The staff was friendly and patient with them. Overall, great experience here! Atmosphere: definitely a family-friendly and kid-friendly space. Great outside seating (if it weren’t so hot in Texas).

We took our daughter out for birthday breakfast here. It was perfect. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our server brought delicious, hot, fresh coffee and a beautiful smile. Our entrees were beautifully presented and looked impressive. The Apple Pancake was a masterpiece of sliced apples and custard with a brown sugar caramel topping. It was melt in your mouth delicious. My Dutch Baby was light and fluffy and served with a generous amount of butter, lemons, and powdered sugar. It was heavenly. The Western Cheddar Omelet was an artful creation with ham, green pepper, pimento, onion, and aged cheddar, perfectly cooked and delicious. One word if you're starving; the specialty pancakes take 25 minutes to cook, so plan accordingly. Order toast. We were thrilled with our selections and are looking forward to a return trip.

I had to meet a colleague prior to a meeting. The service was prompt and attentive. My scrambled eggs were light and fluffy. The bacon was cooked medium as I requested. The Original Pancake House delivers a consistently great experience no matter which location.

I scheduled a breakfast meeting with a very close friend but I was in charge of picking the place to eat.  The name of the place jumped out at me, and it seemed to be family-owned and not a chain.  I liked that immediately.  The waiter was very polite and very patient as it took me some time to decide since were both stunned by all the various food items on the menu.  My friend and I both had omelets, but I had the spinach mushroom cheddar which was delicious. They weren't crowded at all, as I expected so we didn't have to wait too long to get our food. Our waiter was great, tending to us both without constantly interrupting our conversation. The Original Pancake House is close to the Hulen Mall and is within walking distance of  Sprouts Farmers Market, and Home Depot. I think it's a great place for breakfast.

The food here is always good and the service is even better. They have the best coffee in dfw and we always leave full and satisfied. Big thanks to Hannah for putting up with my picky husband and always making sure his chicken links are cooked to perfection😁

This restaurant has the best pancakes! The taste and texture is perfect! The prices are great as well. The entire staff was amazing. The hostess greeted us and was friendly. Our waitress, Cindy, was exceptional! I had her ringing in separate orders because I couldn’t decide and asked her to put in a takeout order. She not once ever gave an attitude but was very pleasant and polite about it. I will definitely be coming back here and to this location. They are hiring too!

Everything was amazing! Dee was so kind and helpful! I got the farmhouse with blueberry pancakes and my boyfriend got the farmhouse basic! It was so good and a good amount for one person! (3 pancakes and a side of bacon or sausage and eggs!) The restaurant was so clean and the coffee bar makes amazing drinks!

I recently tried The Original Pancake House for the first time, and the food came out great! We had such a wonderful experience, mostly thanks to our waitress, Nadya. She was very attentive, made sure our drinks were always refilled, and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. Her kindness really meant a lot to my family. I didn’t get the chance to speak with a manager, but I wanted to make sure she gets recognized, she did an amazing job!

We stopped in for breakfast at The Original Pancake House today. We were greeted and seated right away. We had a wonderful server, named Cierra, who took great care of us. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the Avocado Toast while my husband devoured the Meat Lovers Trio. I never skip the fresh squeezed orange juice! It is a fantastic breakfast spot!!

I always come down with either my parents or my siblings for brunch getting back home from the airport. It’s an incredible spot ( here is better than the other ones ). The waitress Courtney is the bomb!!! If I could ask for her all the time I would. The benches by the window are my go-to. The caramel latte is my favorite. Worth a go!

It's New Years Day and I was out and got hungry for breakfast. Google breakfast spots near where I was and this popped up. I'm glad I took the drive! I was greeted by a nice middle aged man and a young girl who were so warm and hospitable. I was seated fairly quickly as it was not very busy but busy enough. On my visit, I got the Hot Latte with vanilla and Eggs Benedict with a side of pancakes. The food was absolutely delicious. Being seated only took a second, too, and the server, Ahx, was up and ready to go in a snap. My food didn’t take long to arrive and everything tasted fresh. I’ve been to the grapevine location, too, and the service and food here is the same as there, absolutely amazing. The food is absolutely amazing. We went not knowing what to expect but since our initial first visit the quality of food has been consistent as well as the service. The French toast & strawberry French toast is very good. My man had an omlet one visit and he said it was very good as well. The portion sizes are great and the way they offer condiments is also a huge plus. This quickly became my new favorite restaurant and we will keep coming back! If you haven't tried it, definitely a must. Only con, menu is a bit hard to read. Get the farmhouse with French toast and enjoy.

Lived on this side of FW for the last 5 years and finally decided to stop by and try it. It was great. Nadya was our server and she was fantastic! Very attentive. The food was good. (Not pictured) My bf got the cheese and ham omelette and a regular waffle & (pictured) I got the avocado toast and strawberry waffle. They were all very good. Only thing was the syrup was just very watery. It can be a little pricier compared to other breakfast places but it was good and I would come again.

Food (Dutch Baby) was good but not as good as Ol' South Pancake House. Service was great as per usual. Atmosphere...well I don't usually notice such things, but a Dutch Baby takes time to be properly baked, so I had time to look around.....they need someone tall to do some dusting....light fixtures over booth tables had a layer of dust on top as did tops if booth dividers. Booth dividers had wood frames so...what I took for dust might have been dust rag threads caught in wood grain...but regardless, it looked like dust. Kind of important because it makes one wonder what else isn't being cleaned. The facility otherwise seemed clean at first glance, I hope it was just a simple short people doing the cleaning problem. I had a friend years ago that was 6'9", when I asked him what's like being that tall day to day....he laughed and said " All I see is dirt and dust, you short people don't clean the tops of anything!" I fondly thought of him today while eating my Dutch Baby. Service was superb.

We decided to go here not remembering that it was Father’s Day morning before we arrived. It was busy with a wait. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated which was sooner than I imagined. Our waitress took our order for our drinks quickly and brought out the drinks In a timely fashion. We asked for some cream for our coffee but our cream didn’t arrive until we reminded our waitress again. She was apologetic and brought it right now. It was busy so we understood that remembering everything can be tough. We ordered our meals and the food came out fast. It was exactly what we ordered and the eggs were cooked to our preferences. The bacon was cooked great. It was an awesome thickness, it was chewy but crunchy, and it had a sweetness to it that I enjoyed. Pancakes were great but I’m not surprised since Pancake is in the restaurant name. My hacienda was interesting but I actually really enjoyed it. It was like a Mexican inspired eggs Benedict. I feel if it wasn’t so busy we would have had better service but since it was so busy and our table was often forgotten we had to give this place a 4 out of 5 stars. We will be back of course though.

My husband and I eat here often. He loves the Mediterranean omelette and I like the corned beef hash entree. I tried the mini Dutch baby for the first time and I give it an 8.5/10. It should have stayed in the oven longer to crisp more. They said to suggest that when ordering again. Overall we like the food and service at the 3 we’ve frequented in the area.

So disappointed. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs and 2 pieces of bacon and this is how my plate arrived. The bacon was good. Greasy, but after I pat it dry and removed the fat (which was about half of the piece of bacon) it was really good. I refused to touch the eggs. Overall, okay. The manager did come over and try to fix it.

Ive been here before but this time the server was just not his day. Answers were short. Not nice or apologetic if something was off or he got something wrong. But dont let that stop you from coming. The food is delicious! I really hope someone talks to the server. Did I mention he refused to get me a soft drink and no explanation as to why. He just said "oh we dont have soft drinks right now" I asked another server on my way out and she said yeah we have soft drinks... I just dont get it..

Once seated at a table it still took 10 or so mins for a waiter to acknowledge us and then about 20 or so mins before out food came. Need more staff to work the waiters/waitress were swamped. They also do not know how to cook soft scrambled eggs with cheese in it. The original pancakes where the best I ever tasted the syrup was very good, but it poured like water. Would I go back yes...but I'd make sure I'm prepared to stay awhile and not order eggs.

Our second visit to this restaurant. Our server today seemed frazzled, she was nice, but inattentive until the end. I ordered Hacienda Benedict altered to have an English muffin instead of potatoes. It was nice to be able to change out potatoes for something else. I added tomatoes as my side and they came on a separate plate which would’ve made sense if the separate plate had been cold to keep the tomatoes fresh but the side plate was just as warm as the meal plate so it seemed like an extra dish to wash. My husband added cheese to his grits what he normally does, but know they are very generous on their cheese here. The strangest thing was the bottle of Cholula they brought to the table it was in the worst container possible, one of those glass vinegar dispensers for salads, It guaranteed only one or two drops of Cholula came out on the first shake and nothing after. Best to just take the lid off.

I took my wife to have breakfast for her birthday today. I got a biscuits and sausage and gravy. She got an omelet. The biscuits were burnt when they came out, the potatoes were not seasoned and half cooked and the bacon was the same where it was only really cooked one side. I mean the portions were fine but for 50 dollars is kinda crazy. Our waiter was fine I guess. She didnt really seem like she cared or wanted to be there. Definitely will not be coming back. Should've gone to ihop for half of the cost atleast the pancakes would have been fluffy there

From the time we were seated to being served was approx. 40 min. My order was incorrect, my wife's food was extremely salty, the biscuits were as if they were from frozen dough. My eggs and potatoes were unseasoned and my side of 2 small buttermilk pancakes were 8.50 ?? Will never go there again.
