Zeke’s Fish n Chips is basically a Fort Worth institution serving up their signature fried seafood and sides since 1971. This small, unsuspecting, hole in the wall is absolutely not to be missed if you’re a fan of Beer battered flakey white Cod fish, hush puppies and fried vegetable sides. The only thing tastier than the fried Cod is their fried Clams! Served so hot you can barely chew them, they dissolve like savory clouds in your mouth when they hit your tongue. We do not place an order here without including fried Clams! The Avocado sandwich is a great choice for Vegetarians as is their fried Corn nuggets, Zucchini, Mushrooms, Okra and Eggplant. The house made dips and sauces are next level, too, with my all time favorite being their Dill Ranch! My parents have been bringing home dinner from Zeke’s for over 40 years! Our Order: Fried Clams, the fried Beer battered Cod platter, fried zucchini and fried corn nuggets. The meal includes several complimentary Hush Puppies with each person’s order. Grab some of that room temperature butter to melt them in because Hush Puppies not drenched in butter aren’t even legit. Pros: The drive through window means dinner without having to leave the comfort of your car. The sauces are as wonderful as the food and the service is awesome - both in person and through the take out window! Cons: Honestly, the only complaint is the lack of parking, but the restaurant is limited in the building it’s in. Everything else is beyond stellar!

If you're feeling like fried fish, I don't think there's any other place in town to go. Excellent food (although you may feel guilty later about the decadence). My 7-year old also loved it, as did my in-laws, so it's a great place for the whole family. Finally, the desserts all looked amazing, but I could only try one - the banana pudding. It was homemade, gourmet. I rarely treat myself to dessert, but Zeke's presents an opportunity too good to pass up. Highly recommended.

Wife took me out there for a lite birthday lunch. I had the 1 piece with 3 shrimp combo. The catfish was breaded evenly, seasoned well and maintained a great crunch throughout the entire meal. Shrimp were large and tasty. Cole slaw needs a little work, but a good break from all the fried foods.

The hush puppies and corn nuggets were great! The fish would have been much better if there weren't any bones in it. The taste was very good. Just had to be careful of all the bones.

I’m not big fan on deep fried fish. How ever this fish was fresh and flaky. Just as fish should be. The issue I have is the fish was too HOT to enjoy. Even after breaking the fish into sections. Took too long to cool off. I had the catfish fry’s and hush puppies. Would I go back? If I was in the area I might. I would try the cod next time just so I could compare the two types of fish. Very small amount of parking in front how ever there’s more parking in the back. Restaurant was clean nice however the restrooms are very dated. I almost forgot the cocktail sauce was very good.

Zeke’s never disappoints! Probably the best fried wish in Fort Worth! I always get the cod and tonight I got a combo of cod and shrimp-so good! The service is always good and friendly as well. Will definitely return and recommend!

My boyfriend wanted to try this place since he loves fish and chips. He ordered the special fish dish with 2 pcs of fish and I got the shrimp special with 6 pcs of shrimp. The fish was pretty good. The batter wasn’t flavored much and the tartar sauce was ok. I did enjoy the shrimp and the cocktail sauce it came with. It was also a good amount of fries and it came with 2 hush puppies. Overall pretty good. Just felt like too much fried food in the end.

Zeke's still the same in the grease they use is so dark it almost looks like coffee. I would request that they replaced their grease but I don't own the place and that's just a concern I have about old grease cooking new food. We ordered the cod lunch with fries and found the hush puppies tasteless. The coating on the fish came off even after we broke it open and let it cool a little bit so I just went ahead and brought the car outside the fish and ate it leaving the breading on the plate. I've only been to Zeke's twice in the 20 years I've lived here in Fort Worth and I find flying fish at better option and you get a whole lot more fries. Sorry Zeke's but you need to change some things and if you're not reading these reviews maybe you should I don't know how you can keep the place open but of course look at what you offer the eating area could use a revamp and replace the wobbly furniture is hard trying to steady the table when you're trying to eat.

Beware ! Change of ownership! The server was so sweet! I feel like she's been there since before the change. The his puppies are dry, and the tartar sauce is not home made anymore, no dill at all. Sad. Fish still tasted good but... not enough to come back

Been eating here literally my whole life. I was worried when I found out Zeke's had been sold but pleased when the food remained the same. However, after some time, they've now changed the hush puppies. Much less flavor, the old ones had a bit of pepper flavor but the new ones are pretty much flavorless. Fish and veggies still good, but why mess up a good thing? Really hoping they won't make more changes in the future.

I had been craving some good cod fish so my coworkers referred me here.. The fish was 7 out of 10,the sides tasted as if they were cooked in the same grease! It was crowded so I had high expectations but sadly I will not be returning nor recommending anyone.

I came to Zeke’s Fish & Chips after seeing it online and was really looking forward to classic fish and chips. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was cold and unwelcoming except for the older woman—no greeting, eye-rolling from the cashier, and no thank-you or goodbye. The restaurant feels very dated and the seating area had an unpleasant urine-like odor. The fish was crispy but completely lacked flavor. Fries were just okay. The fountain drinks were flat and flavorless, as if the syrup was out. Overall, bad service plus bland food in a smelly restaurant is not a good mix. I won’t be returning.
