We celebrated some work successes by ordering a group lunch for our office and employees. It was the first time we used El Pollo Loco in Fountain Valley and they were great! The chicken was cooked perfectly, not too dry or salty, and our employees were very pleased. It was my job to place the order and pick it up and that whole experience was easy and satisfying. We didn't eat at the store, so I just gave 5 stars for the atmosphere because the whole ordering process and my pick up was such a breeze. Thumbs up for sure.

Also thanks that I checked my bag before leaving the premises, the sauces I order, were not included, plus now you need to be sure you request utensils, napkins even salt and pepper, because if not they won't provided those like in the past. Also noticed that some of the employees were more interested in their conversations than helping their coworkers with all the customers waiting to be serve. The food still good, but the service something to be analyze in detail for sure. Seems from my last review to this one, they hired more personnel plus all og them EXTREMELY COURTEOUS, so pleasantly surprised, that these reviews absolutely work!!!

For me - it's the small things that count, that tend to matter most, and that's where they exceeded. I was quite impressed with their kind & genuine approach as well as their friendly attitude overall. Definitely deserved a tip AND a good review. Amazing customer service! Pollo Loco has always been my go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying meal, and my recent visit reaffirmed why it holds that special place in my heart (and stomach). From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the tantalizing aroma of grilled chicken and spices, setting the stage for what promised to be a flavor-packed experience.

Decent store. Seems pretty solid and the staff do a good job serving the food promptly. Definitely would recommend coming here if you need a good fix of El Pollo Loco chicken. This location also does fantastic party catering. We got their chicken for a pretty large gathering, and it was plenty for people to have seconds and take some home too. Totally well worth it, and these guys are always very professional.

Very good experience at this location. Service was great with kind explanations. And the chicken was very good, well cooked yet very juicy. And didn't forget to provide all the condiments

First time visiting this fine establishment. The food was definitely very affordable and was pretty decent taste. Didn't have any problems with staff. Although, this place is a franchise, it would be nice if the interior had a little more culture/design on the walls, it just felt like another fast food restaurant. Recommended.

One of the best location for lunch or dinner every day. I several times here and I am more than happy with the food ( favorite is 4pcs meal half chicken), service and the ambiance of the location. We have used this location for office catering many many times and have never been disappointed. Put the order in online and they deliver. Of course, be prudent and verify they have the order (which they always have) and it is delivered HOT and with all plates, eating and serving utensils. Every time! Priced right too!

This location is right around the corner from my house so I'm here pretty regularly. There food and service are consistently good and I've never had any issue of any kind with either. The employees are always friendly and they've never messed up an order.

In my opinion, if you go inside and order, it would be faster than drive-thru. I enjoy the chicken avocado wrap very much. It goes so well with the creamy cilantro sauce!! Reasonable price 👍🏻

This location has great service. I was helped by Art and he was super helpful and patient with my large order. They got everything correct and my family was happy and satisfied. This is my new go to location for sure thanks to Art and the team.

My wife was going to order a 24-pc family catering meals from the El Pollo Loco app, but it says pickup time will be 9:10pm!!! So, I got smart and went to the local location and waited less than 30 minutes, and it was ready, and I am also glad that we use the $10 reward points. There is lots of food for the family party tonight!

The reason I give the atmosphere three stars out of five, is because before I owned my electric cruiser bike, I had a very nice Electra brand beach cruiser that got stolen right outside the entrance door, I only took my eyes off it while I ordered my food, so maybe 1 minute and it was GONE.

Polite and efficient staff. Chicken a little over cooked and dried. I ordered family meals to feed 2.5 families. The reason I gave them 3 stars is because they got my side orders wrong and they wanted to charge me for bigger salsa cups. When you order 2 family meals for 10 people they should give you bigger containers for the Salsa Bar. I wasted a lot of time and energy filling tiny little cups for 10 people at the Salsa Bar. Come on Crazy Chicken get your act together!

No eating silverware no napkins lots of food but asked if the chicken burrito was spicy she said no came with tag said spicy. Could hardly eat it. Snack Pak good. The PA system in drive through could hardly understand the person in the store. Very pricey for what I got.

Great food and great prices but the new elderly cashier up front is crabby and I've never seen him smile, say thank you or be kind in any manner. I've worked fast food with a drive in window and I know it can be challenging, but at least make an attempt at appreciating your customers. His personality is as dru as a 3 day old tortilla.

El Pollo is great for a quick grub grab. They know how to do chicken. With their coupons you can get lots of food for little money. I just wish they put a little more flavor into there salsa.

This review is solely on the new "grillers" they have. First, the consume you are supposed to dip them tastes smokey, not my favorite. Second, the burritos are really small for the price, my meal without drink was like 10.50$. 3rd, the grillers are nothing to scream about. If you want an authentic burrito, go to the taco truck down the street.

Speaking with Herlindo, the shift leader was the most frustrating experience. I tried to ask if they just warm up already cooked chicken or not. And then he answers well it takes an hour to cook the chicken.. so okay are you saying that the cooking is already cooked & you’re just regrilling it up? like it’s a basic yes or no question that he couldn’t even answer. I can’t speak to the food yet. But the ordering process was not a smooth easy friendly experience. Even just asking if he can try to get a little more on leg vs thigh, & he said they’re low on chicken so can’t, like okay we get that, can you jus see if you can is the question. Ugh.

This place is awful. I love El Polo Loco but this location will without a doubt me up your order. They always forget the dressing. When you make a request like no avocados due to severe allergies they will put on avocados. Take my advise and steer clear from the Warner/ Euclid location

It took over 15 minutes for drive thur. My nachos look more like chips, with a little chicken and a little sour cream... very disappointing after waiting sooo long. Where is the cheese? Where is the guacamole? I also saw a man walk up to the drive thur line and cut everyone waiting and he got his food 1st. Is that what I should have done to get faster service? Walk up to the drive thur window? I asked where is my cheese and guacamole? Pedro asked me if I want him to ask the cook.... I hate complaining so I was like nope I'll just never come back to this location, since y'all dont know how to make nachos.... sooo I'm not coming back

Slow down a bit taking orders...we don't like to feel rushed when ordering..not even done ordering and Suleinne shift leader just pressuring us to hurry up and order and was also coming off wayyy rude when requesting drink holder after ordering 4 drinks.....like I get it it's fast food but dangggggg..and yes I understand the pressure..but still..geesh..no need to go like you're in a freeway. All careless...

As of today I give this location a 1 star for bad customer service overall. Even the salsa bar was in bad conditions. Green sauce has absolutely no flavor as well as the creamy cilantro. The only thing I can give a good rating on is the food its self to whom ever prepared it. The chicken was delicious! Shout out to the cook back there for his grilling skills. I believe the manager needs to be retrained on how to be the manager as well as her cashier. Thanks, for the moment I will not be going to this location anymore. I will give it a couple months to see if things change. Thank you! So down below is my previous rating... I work near this location soy coworker and I come here often for lunch and service is usually good but there's a manager there that's very rude. She seems bothered when you ask her for something. Last time I was there a customer that works at a nearby hospital ( he was wearing scrubs) was telling her that he didn't get something that he had ordered and she was so rude to him , she gave him such a hard time. It was ridiculous!!! And she's always rude even to the employees and that really bothers me because they're so nice and courteous.So we've decided that were no longer going there because of her.

I ordered online on 12/04/21 and they said the food would be ready at 0547 pm. Then, at 0600 pm, when I went to the store to pick up the food. The guy working at the counter just simply said that my food was not ready. Just like that not even sorry for the delay. And, it’s 0603 pm now and I am still waiting….
