Absolutely delicious food where for once the price matched the quality of the food. Visited the area from Huntsville AL for the day and I am so glad we picked this place to eat. The lobster bisque is by far the best I’ve ever had; where as Connors was my original golden standard, it has now been dethroned. If we visit the area again we are absolutely coming back to this location. My only criticism would be the giant cubes ice cube that seems to mask how little you get with the cocktails. However the cocktail was still decent, but for 14$ I would have expected more.

I got a gluten free fish burger with a sweet potato side. Everything was really delicious and the portions were big so you got plenty for your money. They also serve plantains chips with dip at the table. The service was great and it wasn't a long wait for the food which was nice.

Island themed restaurant in Franklin TN with a bright, clean interior, cozy seating, and a small stage for live music. Met the owner and his family where I work, we talked a bit, and he told me he owned the place. Went in for lunch and got the Calypso Spud with Chili Lime Shrimp, which comes with a tropical salad. The shrimp were well cooked and seasoned perfectly, the mango Pico was interesting, and the plantain chips and dip were killer. Salad was tasty and huge. Portion size is great, and the ingredients were fresh. Hannah was my server, and she was friendly and personable. Here's the Breakdown: Quality food +1 star; great service +1 star; huge portions +1 star (got two meals our of the potato); bright and clean +1 star; funky menu and interesting drink selections +1 star. Can't wait to go in for dinner. 100% will go back

Great vibe, food, and service. Menu has a great selection for all foodie tastebuds. The food was all very fresh and full of flavor. Sauces were unique and deliciously paired with the entrees. We tried the flight of frozen drinks and they were all fabulous. Will certainly be back to try other items on the menu soon! Our server Rachel was perfectly attentive.

Can I just Say… WOW!! My Little Guy and I came here for a Yelp Party… I Definitely Will be coming back after the Party and I’m so very excited to do so! The atmosphere is pleasant. The vibes are immaculate. The staff is BEYOND friendly, Cordial, and Welcoming. Even of my little Boy…. The staff introduced themselves and taught us a little about the business! Can’t believe it’s so New! Loved hearing about the food, and how fresh it is. I also appreciate how Authentic it is. So authentic, they don’t even have a Microwave! The ingredients are Fresh and super enjoyable! The food is BEYOND FLAVORFUL. The plantain chips are bold and spicy 🌶️ and pair great with the dip. The Queso dip…. Don’t even get me started on that! FANTABULOUS!! And I LOVED the taste! The Wings… LOVE!!! So sweet, and Tasty!! 😋 The Taste is Melt in your Mouth! I really liked the Chicken Curry Stuffed Empanadas! The spice was PERFECT and they go down so easy!! ESPECIALLY when paired a Freezy drink! 🍹 I could not have any alcoholic beverages because I’m Breastfeeding. (Plus I don’t drink lol) But get this… They have NON-ALCOHOLIC FREEZY DRINKS!! I LOVED THAT!! I got my Own “Kokocolada”!! SO FLAVORFUL, and DELICIOUS! I could drink those by the gallon!! It wasn’t like your “typical watery slushie.” This was well blended and flavorful and NEVER got watery throughout the course of me drinking it. I’m so very happy with the attentiveness of the staff and how inviting they were! The Live music was great! He played a lot of well known hits, which added to the Relaxing atmosphere! The staff is one of a kind, truly amazing. The food was really good. Journey was a phenomenal server and took such great care of us. Love this place will come back every time.

The bushwacker was really good here. I also loved the plantains with the dip. The shrimp nachos were pretty good and liked the cotija cheese a lot on there. The frozen margarita was good and also liked the blue frozen drink.

THIS IS THE BEST THING ON THE MENU Kokomo Trading Company is a true gem in the dining scene, and their dessert menu is an absolute highlight. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in Timmon's Brownie, and I can confidently say it’s the best thing on their menu! The brownie was perfectly baked, with a rich, fudgy center and a slightly crisp top that provided the perfect texture contrast. Each bite was a heavenly combination of deep chocolate flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. Made with 100% cacao and coconut palm sugar, this brownie is not only delicious but also health-conscious. Additionally, it’s made with no flour and no eggs, making it both gluten-free and vegan! It’s wonderful to see such a delicious option available for those with dietary restrictions. The presentation was simple yet elegant, served in a charming bowl that added to the overall experience. This dessert is a must-try for anyone visiting Westhaven . It left me craving for more and is definitely a standout item that sets this restaurant apart. Kudos to the chef for creating such a delectable treat! I’ll be coming back just for this dessert alone. Highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely experience!!! The food, the service and the atmosphere were so great! The fresh and clean ingredients are the key for us to return over and over again. We loved the fact that the lovely manager gave us information about the restaurant and how the food is prepared. We love to know what the food sources are and how they prepare it, and if you care about your healthy options, it's your place to go!! We highly recommend this restaurant! We can't wait to come back for dinner and listen to the live music!

Had a truly good meal. All of the ingredients are locally sourced and the food was delicious. The cocktails were also excellent. We will definitely go back. The serve was also excellent.

Jason Tucker, co owner of Kokomo came to each table and chatted with the guests. He is personable, welcoming and so kind! Rachel was our server and was the sweetest. The service here is amazing. The food was very delicious and the ambience first class. I ordered the fish sandwich with their house salad and had to take food home as the portion sizes were generous. Then for the finale we watched young Tucker working very hard like he owned the place. He kept it clean and tidy and worked with a smile. Congratulations to the Kokomo team! Music on Fri and Sat is original and entertaining. Definitely giving my new favorite restaurant high fives all the way around. Kathy F.

Delicious food, excellent service! We are so grateful for Derek (server) and Loren (owner) for making sure everything was safe for our daughter who has a food allergy. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. Although the restaurant was crowded, we still received amazing individualized service. Towards the end Anthony Michael was playing and he had a great voice. We will definitely return!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The owner is amazing and focused on providing excellent food (that also happens to be healthy) and amazing service. The menu provides great selection—something for everyone—and a few standout items. My entire party loved their food, and we enjoyed great service and ambience while dining.

Just finished a birthday lunch at Kokomo Trading and I loved every moment! Kevin was amazing and made it such a great experience. Food and drink were incredible. The flavors made me smile. Felt like vacation! Thank you for everything!

Great scratch kitchen with an island feel. A lot of the food is based off Caribbean food, however they do have burgers, salads, frozen drinks, turkey leg, plantain chips that are spiced right for flavor. Servers and bartenders are great and friendly plus they have live music performers on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

This is such a cute little place in a cute little setting on the outskirts of Franklin! We ate lunch here Saturday for the first time with my elderly parents & were so very appreciative of the care taken by the staff to ensure we had a great dining experience! When my parents & I finally made it to the door, it was being held open for us by the kindest lady who greeted us with genuine warmth & welcome! The servers were all so nice as well & were very attentive! Restaurant was clean, food was great, bathrooms were adorable, & past the bathrooms there was also a surprise outdoor seating area with looked really nice! 5 stars for our 5 star service & food. We will definitely be back! We had the tacos(not quite as much flavor as I like, but my son liked them), stuffed chili- lime shrimp spud which my mother enjoyed, Isla bowls(one with chili- lime shrimp/ dirty rice & one with white rice/ chicken) both of which were very yummy & flavorful, and the Creole bowl which were enjoyed by the ones who had them as well!

Our entire family loves Kokomos. The service and staff are super friendly and attentive, we now know them by name. I love that they are seed oil free and have a scratch kitchen. Our two year old loves their burger. Only downside is there is not a fruit side option so we just bring our own. Otherwise everything we’ve ordered we’ve loved! They also have non alcoholic frozen Margaritas that are chefs kiss.

This place is a little slice of heaven with healthy, fresh food, tasteful island vibes and exemplary service to match! The only thing we regret about eating here is that we can't bring the restaurant back to Ohio with us! In our visit to Franklin TN this place was absolutely a favorite and so conclusive to gluten free, no seed oils etc. The staff was so pleasant and uplifting and the food was seriously delicious! We so enjoyed hanging out on the back patio. The fish was amazing, loved the flight of frozen drinks and dessert. SO good, please open another in Dayton, OH!

Incredible food, drinks, and service. The owner personally checked on us to make sure we were having a great experience and even brought over some extra sauces for us to try. The Caribbean patties are a great appetizer and would be a great meal. Ton of variety and island spice. The Creole and Isla Bowls were incredible with big portions. The Spud was massive - we had plenty of leftovers! Great food for a great value, and seed oil free on top of it. Per the owner, they only use olive oil and avocado oil.

Tried this restaurant tonight and LOVED it. Excellent service. Attentive staff who truly care about the food and the “why” behind the restaurant. Food was delicious and I could taste the quality. I am very picky about where I eat and expecting high quality/healthy options. This restaurant did not disappoint! The food was flavorful without sacrificing health. They have lots of gluten free options and do not use seed oils. The food is well priced for the quality and portion that you get. The only thing I did not like is the tables are all close to each other, so if you want to have private or intimate conversation it’s not the best place. But an excellent choice if you’re going for a fun date night! Great atmosphere for that.

Delicious! I love that they focus on healthy ingredients. Our food came out at different times, so our waiter kindly brought us dessert on the house, which my family devoured. I was disappointed with the amount of shrimp on my dish (only four regular size pieces) and my daughter’s chicken was dry… however, my wife’s salmon portion and salad were large… and everything else was very good. Our service was spectacular.

This place was such a luxury Date night for my Husband and I! We are all about quality food and drinks and Kokomo lived up to that! We loved the Jamaican style menu! The Turkey Leg w/ dirty rice and their special sauce was delicious! As foodies we both thoroughly enjoyed our experience! We had a salad as a starter and it was on point! Very juicy! Lol! The greens were very organic tasting! 💚 Oh and the Chocolate Brownie Dessert with Vegan Icecream was one of the best vegan desserts! 100% Cacao Chocolate! Taste + Quality, +Organic Food = A+!

I really wish I would have taken photos of the food but I was way too busy enjoying every bite of what I was eating. Talk about flavor town. Hand down a must try. So much flavor in EVERY bite.

This place is incredible! The steak was some of the best steak I’ve ever had! The co-owner Dave is incredible! And our server Jake had the best attitude and took great care of us! We are on the patio and it was a lovely space!

Just discovered this place last night! We made a reservation for 7pm and we were promptly seated. I had the flight of drinks and it was delicious along with the plantains and dip they serve. I had the Salmon, succotash, and roasted potatoes and they were so phenomenal! I love simple ingredients that are elevated with flavor, no processed stuff. This place checked all the boxes for me. As a bonus, they had a live singer promoting their music while covering Johnny Cash. 😊 Next time, I'll remember to bring cash to tip the performer.

Fist time here and the food was fantastic. I personally didn’t care for queso but the mains were just amazing. Best ribeye I have had in a long time, salmon was also amazing. Will definitely be back. Alyssa was our server and she was great!

First time visiting and as soon as we arrived we felt very welcomed. We came to eat in between soccer games. The staff was very kid-friendly (our son can talk!). The owner, Ms. Laura, became the kids’ bestie- so sweet! The food tasted delicious, we ordered a few different items and they were all pretty great. The Isla Bowl with shrimp was the best rice bowl I’ve had in a while! We’ll come back to enjoy the drinks and live music.

EXCELLENT gluten free and vegan options, and NO SEED OILS! The portions are INCREDIBLE, and the food is TOP TIER! Staff is also always helpful and sweet. Good enough to keep in our regular rotation!

Hear me out.. I wouldn’t say this is the best food I’ve ever had.. but they were good and when I’m back in the area I will definitely be eating here again and this is why: I love what the business stands for. They advertise that their ingredients are wholesome, clean, & very fresh. They also stay away from seed oils using only avocado or olive oil. Everything we ordered can attest to that statement. All of the ingredients were very fresh and you could tell you were eating clean ingredients (if that makes sense). The restaurant proves that “clean eating” doesn’t have to be “boring.” You’re allowed to have food that is lightly fried while still being good for you. The key largo salad dressing could have been a touch sweeter- it was very tart but still very good. The tacos were good all around and the rice was cooked and seasoned very well. The Isla bowl with Bermuda cod was very full as you can see from the pic. My only complaint is that the fish was small (seems bigger in the picture) and it was more breading than fish. I also just realized looking at the menu that it should have came with sauce on the side but mine didn’t. Regardless it was good but that sauce would have been nice because it was a little dry. The chips were complimentary and they were absolutely delicious. If you’re in the area I would recommend trying.

Would definitely come back. Loved the RO water and overall natural ingredients in their food and drinks. The food was really good. The service and atmosphere were excellent. I recommend Better than just a bar. Please check them out.

Seevice was very nice, the owner (I think) came up to us and was very nice. made us feel very welcomed. in terms of food what I got was very good ( the turkey leg) but trying what others got my dish was definitely their best. So if you go I’d stick to the turkey leg. 3.9/5

I appreciate that this place focuses on heathy and does not use any seed oil to cook. Many restaurants claim to offer healthy options but use seed oils which are extremely unhealthy. i enjoy ed the options and friendly staff

First time here and really enjoyed almost everything about it. The surrounding area is very cute. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. The Kokomo is on the smaller side you don’t feel squished, there is still space to move and breathe. It feels very bright and open. I sat at the bar and first ordered the frozen flight. I don’t remember the names of the 4 drinks I chose but all 4 were delicious. I decided I should probably order food too so after much debating I went with the burger. Everything looked really good. I wanted to try the Caribbean patties, the nachos, a salad or a bowl but idk I’m a burger girl so usually go with a burger. For my side I chose the macaroni salad. It was fairly busy while I was there but the food came out in a fair amount of time. The amount of macaroni salad on my plate was ridiculous to the point that I wondered if they were trying to get rid of it. It said it was also supposed to come with chips, which it did not, so I thought maybe they gave me extra because they were out of chips. The burger was ok. Nothing special or memorable. The sauce they put on it was a little too spicy for me, but I’m a baby when it comes to spice. The macaroni salad tasted bitter and sour. I took two bites and stopped eating it because it was pretty bad and didn’t taste right. About an hour later I started feeling sick and did end up throwing up. I had a lot of food still left over so boxed it up and took it home. I wondered if maybe I got sick because I got over heated (it was a bit hot inside the restaurant) or who knows what else. So the next day I took a bite of the macaroni salad to try it again. Again it was gross and bitter and sour and about 30-40 min later my stomach was upset. Other than that my experience here was great. The service was perfect. The bartender was attentive without being overbearing. I would definitely come back here to try out other menu items. I’d stay away from the macaroni salad tho.

Gotta be honest, I don’t really understand the hype of this place. This was our first time dining here and we went with some friends. Overall the vibe was pretty cool. Beers were cold and the frozen drinks were actually really tasty but everything else was pretty lackluster. From service to the food it was just bland. I got the salmon which was a little over cooked and dry. My wife and her friend got the lobster pasta and it was the most boring tasting dish ever. Seriously, there was hardly any taste to the Alfredo sauce at all. The wings were ordered for the table were soggy tasting too. Our server was young (probably her first job) but the attention to detail just wasn’t there. We had to ask multiple times for things she forgot throughout our meal and she also repeated herself a bunch as if she forgot what she said to us 3 minutes ago. It was cool to try something new, but we won’t be back.

Overall, the experience was okay.. Guacamole with chips was dismal. Their complimentary plantain chips with dip was disgusting. Pasta Koko was delicious and yummy. The island burger itself was very tasty but was killed by very basic and bulk purchased sides. In the desert, Pavlova is refreshing and delicious. Coffee was horrible.

We wanted to try the restaurant since they dont use seed oils. However, they still use corn syrup and sugar. And their chips for guacamole comes from a bag and fried in seed oils. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Monday and the restaurant was pretty empty. The server was very nice however it took 15 minutes to get waters and another 15 minutes to get an ice tea and we even had to remind her and she still proceeded to process two togo orders instead of drinks for the table. We ordered 2 kids grilled cheese meals and a guacamole when we sat down and it took 15 minutes for it to come out. Once that came out we then ordered two salads that took over 30 minutes to come out at which time our kids were done and we asked for the server to box up our salads of which she had to blame the time on a large table of 8 people. The restaurant was still half empty. When we got home the salads were all lettuce. The chicken was 6 pieces and so dry it wasnt edible. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen but it wasnt worth trying it.

I personally will never ever go back. It was fine I guess? I got the 3 chili burger which had decent flavor but was dry and overdone. They never asked how I wanted it done. It came with chorizo rixe which had decent flavor but was very dry as well and chips straight from a bag. Drinks were insanely priced. A Buffalo Trace poured neat (which is a $30 bottle of bourbon) was $17 for a neat pour!!! It was so much more expensive than a mixed drink which required the bar tender to do way more work. The food was fine-ish. They had really bad and loud live music that night. I will personally never go back. I would say go there if you want insanely priced bourbon and fine food. Overall a huge disappointment for me. I spent $50 bucks for 2 below average mixed drinks and a fine burger. There are so many other places with way better value.

It's a cute little place and we were sat quickly with our reservation. The food was all extremely underseasoned with the exception of the roti which I sent back because there was so much turmeric in it that it almost made my friend sick. I sent it back with 3 little bites taken out of one piece and they only took 15% off that entree. My friends salmon was super overcooked and my husband's burger looked unappetizing. Even the drinks were weak. For a $150 ticket for 4 people we were very very disappointed.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time. It took 10 minutes for a server to come to our table with water and greet us. It took 20 minutes after that to receive our drink order. The queso had absolutely no flavor. A jar of Tostitos Queso would have been 10 times better. We had crumbs of tortilla chips from the bottom of Kirkland bag of tortilla chips, no hate on Costco, I love Costco, but it was literally crumbs. All the food was below average, the service was painfully slow and I will never be back again. I don’t know how this place is still in business. We couldn’t stop talking about how bad everything was all night and are still talking about it today.
