Opinions de Bob Sang BBQ Fremont
With the new owner, Bob Sang is now the best Korean restaurant in the Bay Area!! Loved every dish we ordered and the chef was so kind and nice. Everyone needs to try their spicy rice cake (ddukbokki) - it was better than the ones I had in Korea!! They are rolling out new menus and specials so be sure to ask. Can’t wait to go back!
Really loved the food here. The staff is very kind and the food is very comforting authentic Korean. Reminds me of good home cooked food. Absolutely will visit again.
We came here recently because we didn't want to go the all you can eat Korean bbq spot. The fam just wanted a nice dinner without the crazy fast pace, and smelling like grilled meat afterwards lol. This place hit the spot, and had Japanese style pork tonkatsu! Everything was delicious, fresh quality, and super affordable compared to other Korean restaurants in the area. Will be coming back soon for round 2!
Korean style bulgogi is absolutely delicious—perfectly marinated, tender, and full of flavor. 10ish small side dishes are also delicious and fresh. The service was warm and attentive.
I love their lunch bento with very reasonable prices. Portion is great and service is fast. Lots of seating!
Came here with a group of friends and waited about 5 mins on a Saturday nite to get a table during rush hour. We also had a party of 7. So that was nice. Most of us got the all you can eat, which was really good. We ordered the toekbukki and it was good, but not as saucy and spicy as we like it. The japchae extra dish we ordered was also good. I had to give them a 5 because of their fantastic service. Pros: free parking, easy to see and find with Google Maps; service was spectacular; food came immediately; meats were fresh, soft, tender, and delicious; all you can eat is really all you can eat; well lit restaurant and clean; lots of tables and still ample space to walk around; and all the employees are helpful and attentive; food was never empty, and water cups always full. Cons: Waitresses and servers speak very quickly and so it is hard to understand them sometimes; place is a bit loud, and a bit smoky (smells great, but my eyes were a bit irritated); 1st time there and they didn't give much explanation on the menu or even time to order. Lol. It is on the more expensive side for meals, but you get a lot of food. The foods, taste and even the atmosphere is so authentic Korean. It was my first time, and it will not be my last. Will definitely come back to try other goodies on the menu.
I recently had lunch at Bob Sang, a delightful Korean restaurant that offers a variety of authentic dishes. I opted for the lunch special, which had options for galbi and sautéed squid, and both were excellent. The galbi was tender, flavorful, and perfectly marinated, while the sautéed squid had a wonderful balance of spice and texture. The service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance was cozy, making for an enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend Bob Sang for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Korean cuisine.
We ordered combo #2 and spicy cold noodle! It’s really good. A lot of options and food, very suitable for small stomach but still want to try different dishes. I like their atmosphere, not too loud and staff are very friendly. Feels like to be my No. 1 Korean restaurant in the Bay Area!!!
$55 Combo for 2 is pretty worth. Lots of sides, a good number of entries, and a satisfactory amount of meat. Sure, it's not AYCE but hey you're paying under 30 bucks a person and you're still gunna be full. The quality of the meat was okay so if you need a meat fix then maybe this isn't the best place for ya. Food: 7/10 Service: 6/10 Vibes: 4/10 Value: 5/10
The food was delicious and service was great! We ordered the combo, bulgogi, tteokboki, and soups. Everything was so good!
Absolutely the best dumpling soup I've ever had. The "regular" portion was huge..5 large handmade dumplings, thin clear noodles, and rice cakes, plus all the lovely Korean side dishes. Husband had Pork bibimpap in a hot stone..Delightful! We will definitely be back to try the fresh BBQ you cook at the table. *Update*: Came back again for lunch and had another great experience. Bit pricey, but the Bulgogi lunch was worth it.
Surprised finding this place. Overall, it's much better than the other Korean BBQ restaurants and price reasonably. Looks like opened by Koreans too. There is all you can eat option if you are hungry. We tried the lunch menu on Saturday. Had the Short ribs, seafood tofu soup, and mackerel. They come with the rice and Korean noodles for each. All very tasty. Will come back to try all you can eat.
Amazing Korean restaurant with so many delicious food! They also give so many side dishes, highly recommend

This is the best Korean casual food in Fremont!

As a Korean, I love all of their dishes!! They’re not only authentic but really good portion compared to other places in the bay. Their service is really good too! Highly recommend!!
I’ve been consistently going here for the past 2 years since they’ve re-opened and the food has always been amazing. My two favorite dishes have to be the spicy pork and their seafood pancake. Definitely going to keep coming back.

Food: My friends and I are a group of 4. We went in 30 minutes before their last order and the owner is still very welcoming. We ordered Combo set 1, tteokbokki, bibim noodle and BBQ Galbi. It was a feast, more than we expected, especially the combo. We finished everything and it was probably by far the best Korean dish I’ve ever had in Bay Area. Service: super helpful and warm. Though I’ve never understand why Korean food here list with such high price, but the service and food we got here worth the price! Ambiance: nice and clean. A good place for 2 or more people to enjoy nice food.
Come here for biz lunch, pretty popular in local, my gal bi bento is good, my work partner order spicy pork and share with me some, I don't like it.
Tried the dinner buffet here $25.99 per person and it was good. The staff was very quick on serving us and always checking up on us. The food is also good we were able to cook pork belly and brisket on the gas grill and others such as Korean Short rib we ordered them and they cook it in their kitchen but it's also part of the buffet.

If the main dishes had been better, it would've been a 4.5-5. The spicy squid was quite tough but the sauteed vegetables with it were wonderful. The BBQ chicken was pretty boring. The sides with the lunch specials were fantastic. All very, very tasty. Excellent service.
I wa recommended this place for the food and service and by the photos you can see everything looks okay. But, taste was bland and service was rushed. 2 🌟 stars. Okay but not worth a second visit. Teamsmiley
