Awesome vibe! Shout out to Jeremy, Julius, Jennifer, and David. Great music and food selection. Congratulations to the new owners for the amazing transformation in such a short time.
Fantastic lunch spot. Friendly, hardworking, efficient staff (Thanks, Dave!). Had the best pizza ever - just delicious! Great Greek salad - lots of feta and kalamata olives! Awesome music playlist. Second time here. I will be back!!
Joes Corner has the best Reuben I’ve ever had in my life. The owner was super friendly and happy to have us. I’m coming back!
Friendly service, overall a delightful experience. Ordered the Fried chicken sandwich with avocado, Turkey BLT avocados and Altamont Maui Wowie beer ~outdoor tables, sun therapy. Great people watching facing Niles boulevard. Big plus dog friendly 🐕🦺🐕🦮🐶🐩
Ordered a fried chicken sandwich along with their Joe's Red Ale for takeout. Perfect amount of food and tasted great! Highly recommend for the chill atmosphere and great drink selection.
I've been going to Joe's Corner for a couple of months and I really like the atmosphere, staff, variety of sandwiches and their range of beers that they offer. My favorite sandwich is the Spicy Joe Sandwiche with cherry peppers. And I've like all the other sandwiches that I've tried. Occasionally they have events organized with a band playing which was enjoyable and sounded well by quality and genre. The bar extends to the street sidewalk where you can sit and have you're dog by you. I like this establishment because I've always felt comfortable and liked what they had to offer as a business.
Cozy but hip little place where you feel like a local just by walking in. Eclectic atmosphere fuses the feel of an open mic coffee shop with a small bar and grill. Perfect for those lazy days when you just want to take 'er easy. Prost!
Old school atmosphere, food is delicious and good portions. Come to Niles and spend your money everyone. Bunch of other little shops a long the strip here.
Delicious sandwiches and cute outdoor seating. I would highly recommend Spicy bacon cheese sandwich!

I’ve been going to Joe’s for the last few years. I definitely noticed a difference when the new owner took over. For example, you can finally sit at the bar! Before it had no atmosphere, and it seemed very rigid, and honestly, the old owner was rather rude unless he knew you in which he would treat you like really well in front of other people that he would be rude to. If you’re looking for a gourmet Michelin star restaurant then you might not wanna stop in but if you want great beer and some good bar food, then you’ll be in the right place. Also, they play really good music.
Big fan of Joe’s under its new management. The expanded food menu is great, and the beers are crispy and cold. Service is great as always and the vibes are wonderful on a sunny day.
It was first time in since the update from Joe’s to Rae Rae’s and I was pleasantly surprised by all the aesthetic upgrades. Beer is still great with their rotating tap. David was our host and and he was such a breath of fresh air. He was so kind and attentive to everyone. You can tell he is really happy to be here. Upgrades to a building and ownership only go so far (and they are obvious here), but finding kind people to represent your establishment, makes all the difference.

New owners with revised menu...great beer selection. Fish tacos were solid.. Pesto, Chipotle and Pico De Gallo made fresh. New management and staff going the extra mile.. Happy Hour an added plus!!
UPDATE: NOVEMBER 2025 They’re still doing great! They changed up the menu a bit. No more shishito peppers (which I loved) but I doubt they were a big seller. Meatballs and Prosciutto pizza were delicious standouts. Would definitely order again. Surprisingly, the Brussels Sprouts quesadilla was great (but it definitely needs the spicy peanut sauce….that’s what really made it sing)! Beer list and classic cocktail list are solid! They also had 3 different, good quality non-alcoholic beers on our last visit (always appreciated). And the bartender said the iced tea is fresh brewed now instead of being out of the soda gun, so I’ll definitely order one next time. The music, decor, service, and ambiance are still top-notch and keep getting better. Keep it up! Great neighborhood bar with cool people that happens to serve some good food, too? You bet. Cheers. ———————————— New owners are doing things right! Fish tacos, shishito peppers, the music, the service, the craft beer menu, and the overall vibe/atmosphere was all on point. Keep in mind that this is not a full-service restaurant; it's a neighborhood beer bar/tavern that has a small kitchen and serves some food. That being said, their food options (both in quality and flavor) definitely surpasses that of many restaurants in the area, and just about everything I have tried so far has been quite good. I'd like to thank the owners for carrying a couple of the Athletic Brewing Company non-alc beers. I drink less alcohol these days, or sometimes alternate between a drink with alcohol and a non-alc drink. Of all the non-alc beers I've tried, Athletic IPA is definitely one of the best. Surprised more places don't offer good non-alc options in this day and age. Anyways...thank you for carrying a couple that are really tasty. My only suggestions: offer fresh brewed iced tea instead of iced tea out of the soda gun, and include more mushroom in your portobello mushroom sandwich (especially since it doesn't come with any sides...it was heavy on the bread and very light on everything else, mushrooms in particular). I hope they get a website and social media up soon so folks can see their food and beverage menus, hours, etc. The website and Instagram account that still shows up in a Google search for Joe's Corner appear to be from the old owners/iteration of the place. Thank you for turning Joe's Corner into something special in Niles. Fremont desperately needed it. Keep up the great work. Cheers!
To the cook. The fish tacos taste great. However the corn tortillas need to be steamed or sautéed first. Don't use them directly from the package, they just break apart. Great food and beer
Joe’s Corner in Fremont’s Niles district is a charming spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The Fried Chicken Sandwich and craft beer selection stood out. Friendly staff and cozy vibes make it a solid choice for a casual meal. Would definitely come back!

We ate here last month when the new owners had recently taken over. The outdoor seating area is lovely and the service was fast, but unfortunately, the food tasted awful. The fries tasted purely of rancid oil and were inedible. The oil they cooked it in was either old or not meant to be used for high-heat frying and got badly burned. We didn’t enjoy the mains either, and we’re not picky people! I rarely ever leave reviews below 4 stars, but I still think about how bad this meal was almost a month later. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 since they are newer owners and surely have some things to work out, but we left still hungry (photo is from after we ate what we could) and likely won’t be back.
Sub par pastrami very expensive for the quality definitely won't be going again asked for potato salad and instead of informing me jus gave me coleslaw I went back in thinking maybe a mistake. No we're out, I'm like so ur not gonna say we're out is it ok I put coleslaw lol basically the quality of a sandwich that you can easily make at home. The sandwich was 18$ no way in hell is it worth that

The food in this restaurant is rotten, inedible, overpriced, and very small for how much you’re paying. We weren’t able to eat our lunch after driving hours to try the restaurant that claims “best sandwiches in town” when asking to talk to the owner, he was condescending and hung up on us. Think kid meals 6 and under. Not one to complain but after a dirty restaurant, rotten food, and a rude owner this was necessary. I do not recommend to anyone.

I had a disappointing experience at Joe's Corner and feel compelled to share so others know what to expect. We waited nearly an hour for a sandwich, fish and chips, and nuggets. To make matters worse, the coffee we ordered never arrived. The owner did apologize, but that doesn’t excuse how poorly the business is run. This is not a place I’d recommend for families, large parties, or even just a quick bite. When I asked for a refund because we simply couldn’t wait any longer, I mentioned that I would write an honest review—and was accused of blackmail. For the record, I would have shared my experience regardless, as I believe others deserve to know. It’s really sad to see this kind of service in my hometown with such a charming downtown area. Hopefully, improvements will be made, but for now, I can’t recommend Joe’s Corner.
This place made me and my puppy sick. We were vomiting for two days straight because they serve uncooked meat and food. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the health inspector for unsafe food. Eat at this place at your own risk because one day they are going to kill someone with salmonella poisoning.
