This is the most delicious boba I have ever tried!!! Huge variety of drinks and boba flavors. And this is my kids favorite place. Highly highly recommended!

Good location in a plaza with plenty of parking and many other food places around. Mr Sun makes their own pearls. They have a variety of drinks and seating. My fave drink is the Mr Sun Special (has their strawberry pearls)--non-adjustable but the perfect amount of sweet for me, and it's decaf and uses non-dairy creamer.

I have been going to Mr sun tea (specifically at this location) for over a year. I love their drinks! It always taste fresh and I never feel sick after. I would say they definitely run on the sweeter side, so I always adjust my sweetness to a lower percentage. The manager and staff are always so kind and very patient. I have hosted kpop events at this location, and the Staff are always so efficient and work very hard. This location is decently spacious will usually always have a place to sit. They don't have food or snacks here, so just be aware of that if you're also looking to have a snack. But there's a decent amount of food places around it.

Mr sun is the best place when you craving for boba because it's super good. I love their strawberries and mango flavor paired with my milk tea. I would prefer green over black tea. Milk tea wise is okay, but the boba is recommended as It's chewy and textured.

I'm pretty picky about my boba and have a couple of favorite places already, even if some of them require a drive. A friend recommended this place so I walked in with both high standards and a healthy amount of skepticism. But he was right. The tea is very good and the boba is outstanding. In at least my top three for boba. We also tried the salted caramel pudding, which had an interesting almost-coffee taste, and the green tea passion fruit with coconut jelly. They were both good. They also let me sample the boba before trying. Their standard daily flavors are brown sugar, mango, and strawberry and I wasn't sure if I would like the fruit flavors but they were fantastic. One of their milk teas is called Rainbow Milk Tea, which is just their standard black milk tea with all three flavors of boba. I suspect that will be my new go-to drink. Staff was mostly friendly and, when asked, helpful in descriptions and suggestions. In the first five days since discovering the place, we've been three times. Highly recommend for boba aficionados!

It was towards the end of the day so I wasn't expecting the boba to be soft, but the grape flavor made up for it. The prices are decent and I think you get a pretty good amount of drink size. I would definitely come back to try some of the other boba flavors.

That means it doesn't come from cheap packaging, they literally roll out, make the dough, and boil it on the spot. They also have wide variety of options (love the strawberry boba!) and have special flavors on the weekends. From what I gathered they also do not use any artificial colors or flavoring so if you're really health conscious like me I would recommend. They're branding is also unique, not sure if I understand the moustache but it definitely stands out. Feels like a solid balance of premium and decently priced so it gets my thumbs up! Also restrooms are always super clean!

Omg this is like the best boba place ever, so many different flavours, they have something for everyone, and the boba is handmade and have different flavours too!! Also the customer service is top tier like genuinely so good I always feel happy at Mr. sun! And the best part, this location has a student discount if you show them your student ID card :))

Talk about boba heaven! Got to try Mr. Sun for the first time over the Christmas break and I'm a fan. This place handcrafts their own boba and has so many flavors to choose from that you won't find at other boba shops! No ice fresh fruit teas. Not a fan of the self service aspect. I like the machines as an option but rather prefer ordering with an actual person. Drinks are way expensive, talking $8-$9 per drink. Not worth going out of the way but maybe if in the area a good place for fruit teas. Clean spacious space. Would love to see some snack items.

You might hate the parking and weird walking down a narrow sidewalk, but the freshly made boba and large space inside makes it worth it. Boba is top tier, and i get the 3 buddha drink! Try their non alcoholic beer boba for a nice surprise too.

This place is very good, but like all boba places now it is just so expensive and there are places with good boba for a little bit cheaper. My drink was $7.18 (with tax no tip). I like the wide varieties that this place offers and the place is very clean as well with spacious seating. I almost had my drink stolen because another guy grabbed it since he ordered with a friend so they ordered two drinks total but their order number was said at the same time as mine. It was a little confusing but I'm not upset about it.

Never waited 20 minutes for boba before 😭 the boba pearls are inconsistent sizes — a consequence of their signature being *handmade* boba… Don’t get the oolong, it tastes muddy and off. And if you’re getting brown sugar boba, get 25% sweetness. There’s a lot of syrup from the boba itself.

So the selling point of this boba chain is the fresh made flavored boba, and to their credit, yea, they get this right. The boba here has the best chewiness and mild sweetness compared to most other boba shops in Fremont. That being said, the tea is kinda mid. It's not bad, it just doesn't stand out, and the tea is the very basis for why we go to a boba shop. I just remembered that after the first couple of sips, I immediately thought of 3 other boba shops in a 10 minute drive radius that had better tea. Will come back later to see if it was maybe just an off day.

The flavors were a little off ... Maybe it was just the day. Might try again another time to see if the flavor improves.

Came by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and did not have to wait. Drinks were good and the seating was plentiful.

Very slow service. Came with a co-worker on my lunch break. No-one up front. Ordered on the kiosk. Waited a while. Still no employees present. Loudly asked if anyone was working and an employee came up front and said they would be making my order after finishing up some kitchen work. Seems like my order would be priority. I’m on my lunch break and the time I wait for my order is time I’m not clocked in making money. On a previous occasion the employee proceeded to ring up a long line of customers after my party before making drinks. It was over 20m wait for our Boba after ordering. The drinks are good but the wait times are frustrating.

ordered uji latte the other day, and the matcha in it had a sandy texture. seems like it was whisked with cold water instead of hot, but because of that, it wasn't as fragrant as the matcha should be either. fruit boba is deliciously addicting to chew on though. hopefully my experience will be better next time.

Typically don't write reviews and in particular a review that is less than 5 stars. I treated my wife and friends out to boba today and ended up getting three drinks. Was ecstatic to hear that they make their own boba and offer various types! Strawberry Cheese Milk Foam w/ Oolong Tea + strawberry boba Grapefruit Mojito Green Tea + rainbow boba Mr. Sun Special + Strawberry Boba To start off I was fairly disappointed with their boba. I've had house made boba many times before from various boba tea shops. However this one was harder and bloated. It seems that they've been letting this boba sit around for more than the suggested length of time. Not the chewy and bouncy texture that I'm used to in a normal tea shop, not to mention a shop that claims to make their boba. Mr. Sun also claims to be the inventor of tea. Strawberry Cheese drink was decent. Mr. Sun Special was decent. Grapefruit Mojito Green Tea. Was the most horrific drink I've ever tasted in my entire life. It tasted like... a hint of Grapefruit and a whole lot of Po Chai. I'm a grapefruit lover. Omomo in particular is my favorite boba tea shop that displays a fantastic drink of the grapefruit variety This however, was quite the opposite. If you had covid and lost all of your taste buds, this was the drink that would break that curse. The horrific and bitter taste of this drink will make you regret getting your taste buds back. Anyways, I'm not usually one to complain. Don't like it? Just toss it… Don’t come back… Not everyone’s going to be able to please everyone’s palate. But this one was the exception… My friend was insistent on bringing it back to swap out for a new drink. We had taken 2 sips out of the drink before we called it quits. My friend ended up taking the drink back to the gentleman to say that it tastes terrible and was hoping to trade for something else. Gentleman then asked us what else would he like, my friend proceeded to state anything else is fine. Then the gentleman informs us that it will be an additional $6+. Tells us that he'll have to charge us for a new drink. My friend tells him that it's okay we don't want a new drink. Gentleman then proceeds to offer to throw away our Grapefruit Mojito, which is honestly great because it saved us the effort of throwing it away ourselves. At the end of the day, it wasn't the horrible drink. It the absence in customer service. Honestly a sincere apology and a short explanation of the company policy would've been fine. You'd think with the amount of available boba shops within the area, the shop would hold top notch drinks and customer service to be able to compete and stay alive in the industry. But nope, not within their company motto. I hope they will come to a realization that in a moment's notice in how they react to a problem can cause them to lose plenty of business in the near future. Will never come back. Will never recommend. Will never suggest anyone to come by.

Last time I ordered the Taro smoothie for my son I asked for no pudding and they put pudding anyways. Today I asked him for no pudding and my receipt said with pudding so I reminded the guy to not put pudding in and he said he remembered. Then when he gave us the smoothie it had pudding on the bottom. He then takes it back after I show him it had pudding and he begins to dump the smoothie in another cup to separate the smoothie and the pudding which is a health code violation. I asked him to just make a new smoothie so he did and of course he rushed it so when my son got it it had huge chunks of ice. Also my Jasmine milk tea was like pure milk I couldn't even taste the Jasmine tea at all. Not sure what's going on with this place but I used to really like it and now I feel like the quality is gone down.

Another example of a good Taiwanese business being mismanaged by moronic employees. I order the same thing every day and when the employees don’t feel like taking peoples orders they just instruct new customers to go to the kiosk to place an order. They seem very well staffed, but what’s each person’s objective while on the job is very dubious… They just keep messing up everybody’s order and keep apologizing, if you weren’t doing properly why are you on the floor? Can’t really blame the workers, is the person in charge that needs to reflect on how to run her business. I know it’s a woman because I seen her before, she ignores you when you try to speak Mandarin with her but she clearly lacks the skills necessary to speak American English; yes, FOB accent that pretends to be local.

The Bobas are very hard and I had no joy in having them. I ordered Hazelnut Milk Tea with boba. It has very weird smell. Didn’t enjoy even a sip of the drink. Their cups are opaque so you can’t see how the drink or boba looks like until you peel the top seal. The bobas looked stale and not fresh. I do not recommend this place.

Came in for the promo deal - taro green milk tea for $4. Tossed to garbage right after first sip. It’s not real taro, it’s made from some artificial powder. It’s also super sweet with half sugar level. How can a Taiwan milk tea store not using real taro? Not recommended at all from a real Taiwanese.

So we ordered mango boba drinks instead and after about 10mins they told us they no longer had mango boba either. So we asked for a refund which then took another 5mins of them calling their manager trying to figure it out. I don’t know why they didn’t check if they had enough mango boba to fulfill orders, like they should have known they were going to run out and should have communicated that. They wasted our time, and the other customers who seemed like they have been waiting for a while. They also failed to tell people coming in and putting orders, that they did not have boba. I felt bad that the two workers had to manage on their own. But they could have done a way better job of communicating. Overall, I think it is a management issue because we came in today and my mango drink was basically just milk, gross stringy mango bits, and poor quality boba. Unfortunately, no longer recommend this place.
