Opinions de Lloyd's Donut Kitchen Fremont
I have been going to Lloyd's for years. I think they are the best donut shop in Fremont and maybe in the east bay. The people there are always nice and helpful. My favorite is the jelly donuts. But I also like their chocolate covered, sugar, and glazed donuts.
Good old fashioned donuts. Nice staff. Donuts usually sold out by noon and it's recommended to go by 8am if there is a specific donut you most have. They also have some giant 11" circular donuts for when your wife says that you can only have one.
I’ve been coming here since I was 6 years old. I’m 34 now and I still make time to come here every once in awhile. They have great service, inexpensive donuts, and it tastes great. Best donut shop in Fremont.
I've come in to Lloyd's a couple times after promising to bring snacks for a group and asked them to give me a Texas Donut filled with custard. Both times, the person at the desk was willing to do it (for an extra charge, of course), and both groups were very satisfied with what I brought. The 5th star is because they were willing to go off the menu for me. Warning: What they gave me is probably equal to 8 regular custard-filled donuts, so don't try to eat one all by yourself.
If you want real authentic donuts this is the place to go. Lloyd's has been in Fremont for over 15 years and it's reputation for having the best donuts in town has been unwavering since I was a child. Schools love them, kids love them, bus drivers love them, cops love them. Can't go wrong with some Lloyd's donuts. They also serve sandwiches.
Had their glazed and it was really awesome! Nice staff and they even gave free donuts with sprinkles to my child! We'll be back!!
I love Lloyd's! The staff is fast, so even though a lot of people come to Lloyd's, there's almost no waiting. Their crullers and filled maple bars, whipped cream filled glazed, and blueberry cake donuts are really special. All the donuts are good!
My new favorite donut shop. They have all the classics plus a few items that are unique like their sour cream & raisin donuts, 3/$100 cream puffs or beignets and monster donuts. Plus sandwiches and, of course, coffee.
Best doughnuts and sandwiches in the Bay Area ,the people that work here are supper sweet and amazing . I definitely recommend this place
They seriously got the best donuts in Fremont/Newark area. And they make really good sandwiches with their croissant bread. Give it a try. You won't regret.
Took my grandkids there . It was a very pleasant place with employees who were actually happy. Donuts are excellent. Great selection and good prices.
Was going to dunkin donuts and I remembered one of my friends telling me about Lloyd donuts so I went there and have never been back to dunkin donuts since they are very friendly and the donuts are fantastic love the jumbo donuts aww who I'm I kidding I love them all and the sandwiches are fantastic too I highly recommend Lloyd's donuts too everyone
Nice lil doughnut place. If you're craving doughnuts and are in the area, check them out. The staff is friendly as well.
Best donuts in town! Everytime I visit Fremont I come here to enjoy the taste of true and delicious Donuts an coffee... Come early, supply might be limited.
I have been a bit of an addict for cinnamon rolls and have found this spot to be an excellent example of how to prepare a treat. Please come early to get the croissant breakfast as they run out early.
Some of the best donuts in the bay and they also make phenomenal breakfast sandwiches too if the sold scratchers and tobacco it would be my #1 morning 1 stop shop
I'm no donut expert but these donuts are pretty amazing. Especially if you get them early in the morning when they are still a tiny bit warm and sticky.
Best donuts alive .. their donuts aren't so thick like other places .. their sandwiches are so delicious 💯 .. love that place & everyones who works there are on point !
Holy Cronut!! On my trip to the bay area on the weekends I always try and get some donuts for my niece and I. I stopped by and they had bagel's and they had these beautiful looking jalapeno bagels and you guessed it, I have not had a bagel and cream cheese in a long while! So, I had to get one or two, OK two! Good Lord these bagels with cream cheese were FN delicious!! Quenched my craving! The Cronut was nice and buttery and the donuts were too!! The service was on point and the two little cutie pies were hard workers!! Nothing but good things to say about this place!! Come get some!! Later!!
Decided to stop here one morning to a Long 12hr road trip. Great thing we did. it’s a very welcoming place. Coffee was fresh they even made my wife a fresh pot of decaf coffee, even though it was late in the day. We only wanted coffee and donuts, but once we saw the variety of bagels and croissants, but we know we had to get one. Good thing we did they were outstanding. You must have is the cheese jalapeño bagel with cream cheese it’s to die for.
I would say Lloyds at this point is THE go to place for an array of classic donuts. I know the latest trend is for eye catching instagram donuts but there's just something special about a good old fashioned donut and Lloyds has definitely nailed it. Please do yourself a favor and make a trip. Also look at that beautiful glazed old fashioned!
GET THE CREAM PUFFS!!! SOOOO GOOD!!!
Having to leave Denny's a couple of hundred feet away, I walked across the parking lot to Lloyd's Donuts which has BAGELS. Although not boiled, the bagel was probably the best "baked bagel" I've had. Most if not all donut shops in the region are, interestingly enough, are Cambodian-owned. The donuts and pastries looked outstanding. I had a bagel & lox with cream cheese, tomato, NO CAPERS, and onion, although it was heavy on the onion. Next time, less onion.

Absolutely love Lloyd's Donut Kitchen! 🍩 Their apple fritters are an absolute delight—crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful on the inside. The perfect blend of cinnamon and apple goodness! And don't even get me started on their cream-filled donuts. Pure bliss in every bite. The freshness and quality are unmatched. If you're a donut enthusiast like me, Lloyd's is a must-try. Excellent service, delicious treats—making my sweet tooth very happy! 👌🎉
I needed to get a a couple of dozen donuts for a holiday event and searched which shop had the best reviews. I saw Lloyd's had one of the highest ratings and decided to test them out. Needless to say, none of their donuts disappointed. They were all delicious and everyone I spoke to asked where they were from because they were that much better than our usual donut spot. If you're looking for some quality donuts, hit up Lloyd's to satisfy that craving... you'll be glad you did.
Good fresh donuts. Better than you'd find elsewhere in Fremont. While it may not beat out stans in Santa Clara. It's the best around and you don't need to drive 30 minutes to get there. Well recommended.
The donuts are great, like seriously great. But the Vietnamese iced coffee?? Holy hell that stuff is good. A cup of that in the morning will get you nice and zooted!
I have a friend that lives literally like three blocks down from this donut shop. They made a great impression on me. They are friendly, clean, and fresh, always FRESH DONUTS!. & Coffee . If you want iced coffee they make a great Vietnamese iced coffee that always comes perfectly sweet. And, try the cream puffs!!.
I love the Vietnamese coffee they have and the donut are so delicious. They also have a variety of breakfast options but my absolute favorite it the croissant, egg, ham, and cheese.

I got there at noon so the selection wasn't all there, but there still were good choices left. The donuts did taste good and were reasonably priced. I only marked 4 stars as I don't know how the selection really is in the morning.
Best hidden treasure!!! Tasty selection of donuts!
A quiet, family run business that has a VERY loyal following. In addition to coffee and donuts they make tasty bagel sandwiches as well.
Really good breakfast sandwich… but no restrooms for customers 🤪
Donuts were amazing, but I wanna know if you use gelatin(animal) in your donuts. And if you use animal products from animals other than goats, sheep, cows.
VERY tucked away in the land of strip malls. I go here when I have a donut craving on a Sunday and Penney's donuts is closed. Staff is hit or miss. They have a good selection of donuts and sandwiches. A touch airy for me (just my preference, not a bad thing). I didn't give them five stars because of price. I got a dozen very basic donuts and some donut holes for just under $20. I just find that a touch high for sugar and glazed donuts. Still good for a non corporate donut.

Breakfast sandwiches are good! They make them with homemade croissants, and I get the 8b, which is sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese.👍🏽 I'm not one for sweets, but everyone tells me the donuts are good also!
This is another best donut shops to go at Fremont. Good amount of varieties of donuts and the lady upfront was kind to take our orders. However, coffee is more expensive here compared to other donut shops I went. They have those kind of big glasses for us to fill up the coffee. Anyways, nice donut shop to go to if you live very near this area. Otherwise, there are more around the Irvington district.

Donuts were ok. Not the best I’ve had. Lady in the store was not friendly. Seems like she was in a hurry to get me out of there even though I was the only one there… I probably will be back again to give them 2nd chance.
Friendly and everything is baked inhouse donuts are on the small side most notable eyecatcher was their version of the apple fritter it looked really good and am not a apple person so believe me when i tell i was tempted
The donuts and croissants are ok.
The donuts were amazing, but I saw a bug where the donuts are kept and also owner was not that friendly. I think I won’t return.
Long johns don't come filled. I'm not sure if you need to ask, but the only filling is more donut.

This is a decent place for donuts, especially if you come early in the morning and grab them fresh. Their coffee and hot chocolate is pretty standard, so don’t expect anything special there. A few things that did reduce the stars are the ambiance and atmosphere. There is a Dunkin Donuts across the street and Starbucks close by with better atmosphere for hanging out. One last thing is if you come late they tend to be sold out of some of their donuts.
It probably would’ve been better if I went to pick it up, but I ordered through DoorDash and they sent me a bacon and ham croissant sandwich instead of the sausage croissant sandwich that I ordered. The donuts were good.

Walked in first thing in the morning ready to buy 4 dozen donuts for a celebration, and asked, "Do you make your donuts fresh everyday?" The lady answered, "You don't talk to me like that!" Take your chances with 1-2 day old donuts, I heard all I needed to not to buy from there!
Bad experience twice, I couldn’t Believe I got charge $2.00 for half & half for my coffee, twice. Bear claw was raw in the middle, dough running , I brought it back to show one of the ladies that work there, she said tuff. Not a great attitude for business
If I could give this place 0 stars I would . The people are rude and disrespectful. Made our patronage feel unwelcome they second we stepped foot in. If you wants donuts and coffee I suggest you look elsewhere. Don’t come here if you want a pleasant day.
Be careful they are over charging I was charged 20 bucks for nothing will report them
Nobody was waiting when I walk inside the donut shop but the short stocky lady made eye contact and ignored me, but when a old couple showed up she acknowledged them by saying I’ll be right with you,so I waited for a couple more minutes and left without buying any donuts, that lady she have idea what customer service is she always rude.
I had a very disappointing experience at Lloyd’s Donuts. The customer service was horrible. The lady working there was extremely rude, yelling while speaking to customers, including me. I was also overcharged for my order, and when I politely asked for a receipt, she refused to give me one. On top of that, I witnessed her being disrespectful to other customers as well. It made the whole environment uncomfortable and unprofessional. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place based on the service alone.
