i've been to a few different applebees locations in my life and this is the only one that doesn't get my order wrong and actually has great service.

On my recent visit to Applebee's, the service was great and attentive, making our dining experience enjoyable from start to finish. The salmon was also a standout, with its tender and flaky texture. The on-site parking in rear was a convenient perk, and their cocktails were top-notch, specially their Margaritas selection. Whether you're craving some good food or good drinks selection, Applebee's delivers with fantastic food and a relaxed atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a casual and enjoyable dining experience.

We've been coming on & off to this Applebee's for over 20yrs. & still continues to be our favorite. This Applebee's on mother's day gave a glass of champagne to all the women. Some weekends there's a wonderful photographer taking complimentary photos(1 is free additional photos, low cost). Workers are pleasant & helpful whether they're serving your table or not. We live in Howard Beach & have a Applebee's near but no-one beats "our" Applebee's

Great service at the bar. This is a chain, so the food is decent and consistent. If you want a top steak experience, then go to Peter Lugers or Capital Grill. If you want seafood, maybe go to City Island, BUT if you want consistently good "pub food" and good service, then this is a fantastic place to go to. Sam is #1, and the rest of the staff are the salt of the earth quality people. Great place to people watch as well.

I haven't been to Applebee's in a long time but I came here twice in the same week. Its was clean and the service was lovely. Food was really good the pretzels are my favorite.

Wow applebees 🐝 ... my always order is a chicken st shrimp bourbon, and mash potatoes. . Pictures are good. Service was friendly and fast. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was super busy. Wait time was minimal and the food came out quick. Drinks were delicious and we got a high chair for the baby. Fun kids menu and large drink selection. The perfect Margarita was just that.. perfect! Chiken and bourbon shrimp was amazing! My favorite part is that there is a large parking structure and many stores around. Definitely give them a try.

A very well known chain in US especially in New York City. A great family place to celebrate birthdays. The staffs are well behaved and very friendly. Ended up here for valentines day! Called ahead! Everyone else was waiting for an hour!! Our server was Isabella she was amazing!!! Food came out fast and hot!!! And the drinks were hitting as well!!!!

Caught in a sudden downpour without an umbrella, I ducked into the nearest open door—and lucked into this gem. The host smiled at my drenched state and immediately offered a towel and a spot near the heater. I ordered their signature hot chocolate and a bowl of tomato soup with a grilled cheese, and it was exactly what a rainy day calls for: warm, comforting, soul-nourishing. I watched the rain streak down the windows while wrapped in the cozy atmosphere, and suddenly being caught in the storm felt like the best thing that could have happened. Sometimes the best discoveries are accidents.

I love this Applebees I come here all the time and I’m always so happy about coming here. The food is always perfect, the wait staff always is so nice to me. But today I was so annoyed with this new photo guy coming around trying to hustle my family for a group shot. Like I understand make your money but $20 bucks a photo and you can’t even buy the physical photos they already printed. Idk it’s just seems like a missed opportunity I would have bought all the photos instead I left feeling robbed. Everyone else in this Applebees is wonderful, it was just the photo guy. The photo guys manager worked with us and that was lovely as well.

The deals here for food is so cheap and the food here is so good. The flavors and portions are perfect and sometimes even too much food.

My husband and I always have a great experience. Applebees never disappoints. I always go and look for Jessie. She’s good at her job. Always make sure we’re good. She remembers what I want all the time. Her service is impeccable. Will recommend I know to see Jessie for service. Jessie is top notch server. SUPER FRIENDLY. Adore her. Surprisingly Great as food was really good and the service great. We were hesitant as we were used to bay terrace Applebee's which was a horror show and we just heard permanently closed. However this Applebee's is really good. Much brighter then the dark other one and great customer service and a cool atmosphere with light chatter and music filling the place. We liked it so much a week ago we came back. Manager tonight and our server were both excellent. We'll be back. 5 Star Rating.

My second visit to this location since the revamp and I've had a good experience both times. From the service to the food to the vibes (good background music) to the cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms, it reminds me of how applebees used to be years ago. EXTRA special acknowledgment to the server Kaylash who is AMAZING , personable, attentive and knowledgeable about the restaurant and menu. They have a lot of affordable deals and the food taste fresh and flavorful. Honorable mention to our server this time Steven.

I had a great experience at Applebee's fresh Meadows. The waitress ,waiters and all staff was very polite and helpful. Syeda our waitress was constantly asking if everything was okay. No wait time food was great. Atmosphere is excellent. Lots of TV screens so you won't miss a game.Drinks were excellent and they have a wide variety of choices with food, drinks and appetizers for you. I have been back many times and will be back many more.

Okay. I got the dipper sandwich and it was really good, but the service was even better. Jessie was on top of her game with a telepathic level of attention. Our amazing server, Jessie! is the person I always try to request with the host at the door. She has been consistently sweet and attentive with my family and most importantly with our kids. She talks with them, acknowledges what they enjoy, and always makes sure their orders are just the way they like them, which we appreciate so much. My fiancee and I had a great time, enjoyed the food and got some pictures taken by someone working for a company that partners with Applebees that came out surprisingly good (of course cost extra and you're not forced to buy plus you'll receive a free picture regardless). Most importantly Jenny took care of us with patience, etiquette and diligence. Honestly, couldn't have asked for a better night out! Jenny is awesome! Did I mention I love their ribeye steak 🥩!

Love this restaurant. Lively, amazing, full of people, and the commotion overall has a really positive tone to it. All the people and waiters are patient, the food came at a relatively reason time, and there wasn’t a long wait time for seating even on a friday night. Went for birthday dinner for my kid, employees tried their best to seat us together, but we ended up sitting in booths back to back to each other. In their defense, it was Sunday (football night). The food was decent, and the waiters did their best to sing happy birthday. Waiter Shine made my experience to eat here satisfing with his karisma and great attitude! Beer is always good 😂.

I usually go to Applebee's for the two for $33. Usually, get the Grilled chicken salad with Buffalo wings and a diet Coke. The dressing on the salad tastes delicious and the chicken is not dry. The Buffalo wings taste good. Not too spicy but with enough sauce taste good. The main reason I go to Applebee's is not the salad or wings. These are things that are easy to get almost anywhere that sells food. The main reason why go to Applebee's is that the place is always clean the staff is always friendly and courtiers. These qualities are hard to find in NYC these days. Big thank you to David for always making my time at the restaurant pleasant.

Honestly had really good food here and I came here expecting it to be Mid so honestly I’m pleasantly surprised. Just wanted a well rounded meal and it came out Great so I gotta recommend. I had a great dining experience at the Applebee’s in Fresh Meadows, New York. The service was warm and welcoming from the start. The hostess greeted us right away, and our server was friendly, professional, and checked in with us just the right amount throughout the meal. We started with a couple of appetizers — the mozzarella sticks and the spinach & artichoke dip. Both came out quickly and were served hot and fresh. For my entrée, I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, and it was full of flavor, served sizzling on a cast iron skillet. My guest got the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger and said it was juicy, seasoned well, and just the way they liked it. Portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted freshly prepared. The restaurant had a lively, comfortable vibe — perfect for a casual night out. It was clean, including the restrooms, and the staff seemed well-organized and on top of everything despite a busy dinner crowd. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the wait time. It took about 20–25 minutes to get a table, and food service was a little slower than expected. Not a huge issue, but worth noting if you’re stopping in on a tight schedule. That said, this Fresh Meadows Applebee’s continues to deliver on its promise of good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in the neighborhood looking for a satisfying meal.

These prices r better in NJ. The lunch is 1099 and you also can take lunch out to go home. The only good thing here is that you can have the lunch time in and just have to wait to pack it up to take it to go home what's a lunch is 1299 here in N.Y. Also the food in NJ was cooked better I had to return the pasta for some new one cooked properly. Cold meat.

Seating and food was great! They did give me my meat medium well which I asked for just medium, the cook did redo it for me and was very nice and professional about it. The only bad thing about it was the atmosphere which was a bit hot, especially when seated on leather seats and our server Jessie had bit of an attitude. I understand that being a server is tough but at least don’t take out your frustration on customers or have a bad face when serving. Didn’t feel comfortable asking for things from her.

Every visit Applebees has less value meals. First it was 2 for 25 several menu items were removed .On my most recent visit $9.99 menu items were completely removed. The only value are lunch specials. I guess value is being removed . My visits will become less frequent

Sat down by hostess, and it was about 10-15 minutes before anyone even greeted us. Smh. Manager walked by and didn't say a word. Smh. When finally greeted by waiter he was a nice guy. He took our order and even exchanged a mixed drink because we were dissatisfied with it, but unfortunately we were disappointed with the next one as well. I do not recommend those mixed "fruity" drinks like the margaritas. Pass on them and just get a beer. The food, at least the appetizers seem to be overpriced so even if you go in late there's only a selected few items that's half priced. Free parking lot in rear. There was 2 hairs in the food there is barely 30 people in here and we waited about 45 mins for drinks alone. Service is trash wouldn’t recommend coming here. Spend your money elsewhere. Overall just an awful experience. Our waitress isn’t attentive at all and we won’t be leaving a tip!

I came here after years only to discover that they removed the NY Strip steak from the menu. It was the best ever for a fast food/franchise grade. They replaced the entire menu with some disgusting garbage steaks. I honestly wanted to get up and leave but the waiter David was really friendly and nice so I decided to stay. I regret staying because of the quality and taste of the new steaks on the menu. Besides the food taste, flavor and texture, the service was good.

I’ve been to this Applebee’s location many times, but this visit was by far the worst experience I’ve had. While our waitress was polite and did her job, the overall service and food quality were unacceptable. The appetizers came out quickly, which was great, but the main dishes took so long we actually considered canceling them. We tried to make the best of it and ordered bottled Coronas—which somehow still took 20 minutes to arrive. When the food finally came, it was incredibly disappointing. My dad’s plate looked like it was just thrown together—his beans were cold, and the mushrooms didn’t even look cooked. My brother’s burger was soggy and his fries were ice cold. The waitress did ask if we wanted something else, but at that point we were so frustrated we just wanted to leave. Then, we were charged $3 for the tabletop kiosk games, which we never used. When I pointed it out, she casually said that sometimes it just does that. I had to ask her to remove it, which she did, but the nonchalant attitude added to the frustration. Overall, it felt like no one cared about the quality of the experience. It’s really disappointing because this used to be a reliable spot for us. I hope management sees this and makes some serious improvements.

Placed an order for delivery. I ordered a double burger, what I received was a single burger cut in half and made into a "double burger".. I had the Fiesta Lime Chicken. I had diarrhea 15 minutes later. There was a woman with 5 children next to wear I was sitting in the dining area. All I can think about is the poor kids having the runs also. Never coming back for anything in the menu. My waitress was excellent.

I ordered my go-to Applebee's meal that I always get whenever I go to a Applebee's, and this location was by far the worst. Burger was cold and had no sauce. The ribs and chicken wings were hard and you can tell they weren't fresh. I assumed the sauce was a standard recipe but apparently not because it tasted way off and sour. Also, the presentation was extremely sloppy. Not only did my food look like it was tossed around, but there were also bits of food that I did not order mixed into the food on my plate. (I got piece of an onion ring(?) and something white and crunchy that I wasn't able to identify, but it definitely did not belong there.) Honestly, the meal was so bad that it put me off from eating at Applebee's again. There are too many food establishments out there. If it was a cheap little take out then sure, but I'm not wasting $50+ to not be satisfied.

Had the worst service at this place last night!! Drinks took forever! At least 15-20 min for each drink at an empty restaurant. Last margarita didn't even have salt or lime. I ordered it 30min before closing, but if you still have people in your restaurant ordering, why would you put everything away THIRTY minutes before close. I've worked in many, many restaurants over 18yrs. Thats not it, applebee's. The manager, Isabella, couldn't care less!!! She just said there's no garnish and thats just how it is sometimes there. Smug face. The actual worst. Good luck to anyone who dines there with her.

let me start with saying I also work at an applebees myself out of state, both as bartender and server so I know how it goes when it comes to taking care of a guest and the service i got was not it. gio seemed very lovely at first but I noticed that he did not run a single app, drink or entree himself as far as what I saw. no refills the whole night and no small plates or napkins either (had to ask which i fear is common sense) and the simple thing of refilling WATERS when we asked once, he forgot to even do and had to ask again 👎🏼👎🏼 now I always tip at LEAST 18% for even mediocre service as I know this is the servers livelihood we are talking about but I was severely disappointed especially since im traveling out of state to see how other applebees function. do better with your staff and also the food sucked so I see why friends that live in nyc of mine say applebees is bad even tho I LOVE applebees

I won't be ordering from here ever again. I did a Grubhub order. I was missing an entire meal. I called Applebee's. I got an automated message. I was told they don't handle delivery order issues and to contact the delivery partner. I got a refund from Grubhub. But that not the point. Now I have to order from someplace else.

Yesterday I ordered food and the experience was very disappointing. Most of the food was very dry, especially the fries and the burger. In addition, the burger was missing some ingredients, including the bacon that was supposed to be included. The onion rings were dry on the inside, which was honestly horrible. The food quality was far below expectations. I used to eat at this location before, but after this experience, I will not be returning. I expected much better quality and service. I was unable to call last night to report the issue, so I am leaving this review instead. Order number: 41171127443079172 I hope to receive a response from the restaurant.

Ordered on the app for takeout. It was supposed to be ready at 5:44pm. I waited over 45 minutes for my order to come out. I was told that they were backed up in the kitchen. No excuse! Maybe they should take care of the patrons that paid for their meal prior to receiving it. And what’s my reward for not going postal? A dessert. Never again!

I am deaf, and my daughter is a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults). She heard a man behind us repeatedly saying 'cocko' loudly, and the staff did nothing but laugh. This hurt my daughter's feelings. It was her idea to eat at Applebee's, a place we've been visiting for many years, and this incident changed everything for us. I didn't hear anything, but she clearly did, and it upset her. Why did the staff allow a man to use racist language behind my back? My daughter and I are the only Asians in the restaurant. Can you please review the security video to investigate this matter?
