Had an impromptu Saturday lunch date here, which became such a lovely culinary experience, not only the food but the atmosphere. A lot of really nice artwork coupled with amazing flavors. Bangkok fried rice and Pad Thai were both 11/10. As for the mango sticky rice, let’s just say my girlfriend drove back later that day in the rain just to get a second round.
Shorty and my first date spot. Have a draft singha while you wait. Under the weather on a Rainy day. Beer and Tom Yom is what the Thai Dr. Ordered. Good for take out. Tom yom soup (not too spicy) and spring rolls. Soup has a lot of those little mushrooms. Pineapple rice has big pieces of shrimp.
Wow the food is amazing. I tried to order online but for some reason i could not get the order thru. I went to the restaurant to order instead and the waitress is so nice that she still honor the 10% off just as online. This owner also came to greet us and we had a very good conversation. I will for sure come back and sit down for the meal next time. This is now our go to neighborhood thai restaurant.
Sup Thai is a neighborhood gem in Fresh Meadows serving up authentic Thai street food! “Sup” in Thai means treasure, wealth, rich materials, or valuable things. As common as street food is, finding good street food is like finding a treasure. They want everyone that dines with them to experience authentic Thai street food & to enjoy Thai food the way Thai people do! The dishes here are absolutely delicious & so flavorful. You have try the crab rangoon, thai dumplings & just everything because they are all a great choice😅 You can’t go wrong with the Thai classics like noodles & curries but the Short Rib Khao Soi & Angus Beef Crying Tigers are an absolute must🔥 They also have Lunch specials available everyday from 11:30am - 3:30pm which includes 1 starter & 1 entree. Prices vary depending on protein but it’s a great deal!
Guys, new Thai restaurant open in Queens @supthainyc one of the best Thai food I have had in New York. They offer best Thai Food was throughly impressed. Everything we chose were incredibly tasty, a wide selections of dishes, to be honest, I want them all. Food is delicious and authentic. If you never haveThai Donut, you have to try it. Never had Pork Leg Over Rice before in the thai restaurant, surprised me. Mango was SUPER SWEET & FRESH. Mango sticky rice is my favorite Thai dessert, the only one!!! ✨Shrimp Donuts ✨Beef HotPot ✨Thai Stewed Pork Leg Over Rice ✨Mango Sticky Rice
Craving for authentic Thai cuisine inQueens with ample parking that’s close to the Island? Look no further and go to Sup Thai located conveniently in Fresh Meadows. Right outside Sup Thai is decoratedwith a Tuk Tuk along with some tables and chairs. As soon as you walk inside, it feels like a modern version of a traditional Thai restaurant with the absolute friendliest staffs. We ordered a silver and a gold cocktail that is deliciously crafted. Order a couple Thai street-style appetizers and move onto entrees. The pla ma nao, branzino, is so good that you must order. Don’t forget about the mangosticky rice as it’s one of the best in town. Ask for their daily specials for a Thai experience you’ve never triedbefore. Sup Thai stands behind quality and perfection providing the best flavors without breaking the bank. Can’t say this is a hidden gem because it’s always packed with customers every time my girlfriend and I visit. Exceptionally and phenomenally amazing food here! I recommend this spot to all! Our most recent visit here we had Sup lychee lemonade with vodka added and a Sup Thong Kum Gold for drinks. Appetizers we had a Thai salad and a chicken/shrimp dumpling. For entrees we had a spicy Chicken pad se ew and a spicy chicken pad Thai. Will visit soon!
I've been here twice now and loved the atmosphere and experience both times! The service is very quick and the presentation is upscale (which justifies the price). For appetizers, I ordered the sup sampler, chicken satay, and curry puffs. I really enjoyed the dumplings and the spring rolls in the sup sampler. The chive pancakes are ok. I loved the curry puffs and the chicken satay is very juicy. For the main course, I ordered the Chiang Mai curry noodle soup - it's a very large portion and the chicken is falling off the bone. I also love the broth it's both spicy and sweet. Lastly, for dessert, I ordered the chocolate cake and ice cream. I would pass on that.
Had a wonderful dinner at Sup Thai tonight. It opened just a month ago, and showcases lovely decor, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service. My best friend and I both ordered the Drunken Noodles dish to try. I usually try not to order the same exact dish as the person I'm dining with in order to try a variety of dishes, but the last time I ordered a Pad See Ew and she ordered the Drunken Noodle dish at Kin'd Thai, I ended up wishing I had ordered the drunken noodle dish during the entire meal. Kin'd Thai's drunken noodle dish was much more flavorful than Sup Thai's, but that's not to say that Sup Thai's dish wasn't good. Our portion came with a large amount of chicken mixed within as well. I do recommend putting a little more spice into the dish, as the menu showcased 2 pepper signs for the dish, but it really wasn't that spicy at all. We also really liked their butterfly pea flower tea drinks! We hadn't heard of it before we got to try it today, so the staff took the time to show us how the unbrewed tea looked like and explained what it was. Learning about, trying something new, and liking it enough to want to order it again the next time is a + in my book. The staff were super friendly and attentive (each and every one stopped by our table during our meal at separate times to ask how the food was and if we wanted more hot sauce in our drunken noodles). Not necessary to ask more than once how our meal is going, but we appreciated their effort. Water refills were plentiful and the staff happily did so each time. For dessert, we ordered their homemade durian ice cream topped with gold egg yolk thread. Never tried the gold egg yolk thread before either - so good!! It's made from eggs, but tasted sweet - a great topping for their A+++ durian ice cream. It tasted just like fresh durian that you would freeze at home in the summer time, except without the pit or spiky/slimy hassle during preparation. Sup Thai is a great addition to the Queens area; we will definitely be back again to try the other dishes and desserts! Plus, parking wasn't hard to find on a weekday night - you can easily find spots within 5 minutes walking distance.
Prompt service, temperature is checked and 1 person from each party must provide contact information in case of contact tracing. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, and not to pricey. If you come between their lunch hours you can enjoy their lunch special which comes with an entree and appetizers...
Amazing, authentic Thai restaurant! Been coming here for years (both dine-in and takeout) whenever I'm in the area. The staff remember me and are so warm and welcoming! Delicious dishes that are fresh and flavorful and not too sweet or too salty. This time I got the Crab Rangoon which was a bit too crispy for my liking but still flavorful and you can really taste the shredded crab vs most places it seems like they don't put any crab in, Pad Thai w/ vegetarian duck and Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. I also love the rare Thai snacks that they sell. Open a location in Manhattan! <3
This is a really nice place and I would come again. The food is spicy and the ice cream is amazing. I recommend to get the Thai Iced Tea with tapioca. The only thing that bothered me was that they kept trying to get us to leave and handing over the check before desert and while we were eating.
This place is amazing! Cozy restaurant with rustic but modern vibe. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. The owner came by twice to make sure we were okay. She even played with my two year old nephew at one point and gave him a complimentary lychee dessert. So sweet. As for food, they offer lunch specials ranging from $12-$17 every day. The lunch special comes with one entree and one appetizer. Everything we ordered was quite delicious and tasted fresh. We ordered: Esan combo (papaya salad with pork cracklings, fried chicken and blue coconut rice). The best part of this dish for me was the blue coconut rice. Sweet but not overpowering and an unusual choice to include in this savory dish. BBQ roasted pork with sesame gravy (crispy pork belly, roasted pork, sweet sausage, boiled egg and Rice). I like that this dish offered three different types of meat. The pork belly and sweet sausage were very good but the roasted pork needed the help of the sesame gravy. For appetizers we got the chive pancakes, crab dumplings and Thai crepe dumplings. All were very good but portions were small. And the best part of our meal were the desserts we ordered. We got the homemade ice cream topped with gold egg yolk thread and the Thai tea creme brulee. The ice cream with egg yolk thread was fantastic! I've never had gold egg yolk thread before and loved it. The creme brulee was nicely done. They topped it with sliced strawberries which gave it a nice balance to the flavor. I can't wait to go back and try other items from their menu. This restaurant is a must if your looking for great Thai food.
Sup Thai in Queens is a cozy spot with a great mix of traditional Thai flavors. The dishes are fresh, well-spiced, and balanced, especially the pad thai and green curry, which are both flavorful without being too spicy. The staff is friendly and helpful, making it a welcoming place to enjoy a meal. The prices are fair for the quality, and portions are generous. It’s a fantastic option for Thai food lovers or anyone wanting to try tasty, authentic Thai dishes in a relaxed setting.
I visited Sup Thai Kitchen for the first time after hearing many compliments from my friends around the area. I was fascinated with their Thai street food vibe decorations including their cute motorcycle outside. The interior was bright and sunny with huge windows. The food was really good. I ordered the Short Rib Kao Soi, which my friend recommended. The tender short rib was in a rich curry. I would definitely order it again when I visit again. My friend and I ordered their signature cocktails in beautiful cups of silver and gold. The Duck Curry was another hit. I personally like duck, but oftentimes, it gets overcooked at other restaurants. However, the duck here was soft and perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed their crispy Chives Pancakes, and the Fried Taro with the sweet chili sauce. I heard that Sup Thai is known as one of the best Thai restaurant in Queens among locals. I was very satisfied with their food and will definitely visit this place again. I’d like to try their popular Pad Thai Noodles too!
Easily one of the best Thai food restaurant experiences. Great staff, great atmosphere, great food, and fair prices. Group ordered: Thai Fried chicken, shrimp doughnuts(3), short rib Khao Soi, pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles, and Massaman curry. Total price for 4 people were $132 for high quality food in a great atmosphere with really good music. Definitely worth going too and will return.
Went 2/14/2024 for Valentine's dinner with husband and son around 6pm. Upon entering the atmosphere is very lively and welcoming. We immediately were sat down, and were given menus. While we were checking menus the crowd started to come and form a line, thanks God we were early. We ordered SUP sampler from appetizer, and tom yum soup. For entree, my husband got sea food fried rice, my son had Ped See Ew and I got Drunken Noodle. From drinks my son got mango juice and I had Thai iced tea with bubbles. Everything was fresh and tasty and they didn't put that much salt in food, which was good for me. I would definitely go again. It's kinda pricey but I don't mind if food is good. I'll go again to try their desserts.
When you immediately enter, the waitresses were very welcoming. I sat down, I ordered, and it didn’t take even more than 10-15 mins for the food to arrive. The food looked very vibrant and tasted nice and warm, fresh, as well as nicely cooked. I enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant ambience is very pretty and you could definitely take a lot of nice pictures. Overall a good experience and not very pricey. Go check them out!
Sup Thai Kitchen is a cozy spot with consistently delicious Thai food and a menu that keeps things interesting with frequently changing specials. We recently tried the whole fish, which was light, fresh, and full of flavor. The crispy taro appetizer with peanut sauce was a standout — crispy, unique, and super satisfying. The owner, Apple, is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds a personal touch to an already great dining experience. Definitely a place worth revisiting!
11.4.23 We were in the area for a soccer match, so we stopped in for dinner. There are several outdoor tables but by a main street, so we opted to sit indoors. The inside has a warm, cool, comfy vibe. Staff and service were fast and friendly. The drinks were refilled without us having to ask. The food came out hot and perfectly prepared. Overall, we enjoyed our visit.
AMAZING!!! I got the pad Thai with tofu and it was incredible!!! My dad got the red curry with chicken although it was a little too spicy he thought it was really good!! I wish I could eat here everyday!!! The only negative thing I would say would be the portions could be a bit bigger. But definitely going again :)
The atmosphere is amazing and chill. Wife love the bits and pieces of ornaments from south east Asia. The food has knocked our expectations out of the ball park. Hands down, by far, the one of the best South Asian restaurants we have ever been to. Flavorful, not overwhelming. The food felt like it's carefully made to compliment each other. A must visit.
Love the name [Was] Sup! We ordered our dishes and appetizers and were served rather quickly. The Sup sampler came in what resembled a bird cage, the esan combo came with blue rice and the short rib khao soil was probably one of the best tender short rib dishes I've had in a while for a Thai restaurant. A place worth a revisit.
The atmosphere here is fantastic. Loved the cocktail and the appetizer. We had the pork skewers, and it was delicious. Wished they would put less sweet sauce. Every dish was unique. The only thing I didn’t like was the sup pad Thai with lobster. The lobster was overcooked and chewy. Besides that, I can’t complain.
One of the best go-to Thai spots on Fresh Meadows, in my opinion. They accommodate families, especially young children which is great. The food and service is always top notch. I usually come for brunch and the ladies always do a great job accommodating us. They have a variety of Thai tea flavors from mango to strawberry...?! Very interesting takes. The space is fun and clean too with the decor. Call ahead of time to make reservations or see how long of a wait for walk in may be.
I don't often great places at five stars in every category, but they earned theirs! We didn't sit for 5 minutes before we got our food. And it was delicious! I got the drunken noodles with pork belly, and they were so good! Also, great atmosphere! This place was just fun to be in. Even the smallest details like the dishware are beautiful!
Great Thai food in Queens. This place opened in 2019 and the food is pretty authentic. You can tell the food was going to be good when you walk 8n and every speaks Thai. I had the Lobster Pad Thai and the yellow curry. Both were good. Walking distance from the place I visit. Will return for sure.
SUP Thai Kitchen is a true hidden gem in NYC! We ordered the Port Bun, Pork Meatball on Skewers, Sup Baby Back Ribs, Hot Pot Tom Yum Soup, Short Rib Khao Soi Thai Curry Noodle Soup, and Mango Sticky Rice, and every dish was outstanding. The flavors were bold, authentic, and perfectly balanced. The baby back ribs were incredibly tender, the Tom Yum soup was rich and comforting with the right level of spice, and the Khao Soi with short rib was deeply flavorful and satisfying. The appetizers were great to share, and the mango sticky rice was the perfect sweet ending. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and consistently delicious food — highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine!
It was my first time having Thai food! It’s was a rainy evening and the restaurant was packed. Apple and her staff provided me an unforgettable dining experience. I wanted sample the appetizer because I wasn’t sure what I will like… I received very attentive service, they delivered a memorable fine dining experience that will definitely makes me want to visit again! The atmosphere was beautiful make you feel like you were in a movie! Everything was so fresh and well seasoned, it was really gooooooooodd….. Now let’s get into the coconut sticky rice…. It was everything and more!! You won’t regret it. I cannot recommend this gem highly enough for its top-notch food, hospitality, and atmosphere.
I recently came across this Thai restaurant. It was such an incredible experience dining there. The service is pretty good. We ordered some of their signature dishes from the menu. The Short Rib Khao Soi was super tender and flavorful. I’m also a fan of the Crispy Duck with Red Curry, perfect mix of crispy and creamy. We also got the classic Tom Yam Hot Pot, spicy, flavorful, and tangy. We’ll definitely be back!
I loved Sup Thai Kitchen! The atmosphere, the service, and the food were just all an A+. The food came out really quick and they were all super delicious. The menu has so many good options to choose from and the desserts were a great way to end the meal. They have really good boba too! Definitely a new favorite!
One of three excellent Thai restaurants in my area, and the only one I order takeout from. (The place is small and often packed.) The lunch specials are a true bargain. All veggies are fresh and the proteins are all delicious. My absolute favorite is the drunken noodles with whichever protein floats your boat. Spicy Thai fried rice also rocks. On the occasion that I dine in, the desserts are hard to resist, and so much better than the usual desserts offered by the average Thai restaurant. The Gingerbread pudding is exceptional! Highly recommend!
The food here is sensational—so delicious and authentic. It feels just like home in Thailand. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. We made a special stop here on our way back from Riverhead to New York City, and the detour was absolutely worth it. I wish I could come more often. Thank you!
We came in from Westchester man, it was so worth the trip. The food and service were amazing, I mean really amazing. The dishes were clean distinct and the flavors were heartwarming The service was excellent so quick and attentive and everyone had a such a warm welcoming smile. We can’t wait to get back.
First time coming here with a friend and I really enjoyed my experience! Staff is super friendly! Location is convenient (parking so/so), place is comfortable, clean and decent in size. There is a great variety of food/drink to choose from! We went for lunch and they offer a great lunch special $13 ($1 or $2 more depending on meat) for an appetizer and entree! Such a steal and it’s a huge plus that the food portions are quite large and flavor is on point! Very enjoyable, definitely check them out! I got the Spicy Basil Chicken fried rice 8.9/10 with shrimp dumplings as an app! My friend got drunken noodles and spring rolls!
Been coming for a few years and I especially love their pad see ew. We usually get their lunch special because it’s a great deal, it comes with an appetizer. Also love their sticky rice with mango though it’s a little sweeter than I’d like. It’s a great place for good tasting Thai cuisine.
Shows let out late, and finding a place that's still serving quality food after 10 PM is a challenge. This place not only stays open, but the kitchen is clearly still operating at full capacity. We rolled in after curtain call, still buzzing from the performance, and they seated us warmly despite the late hour. The food was just as good as it would be at prime time—fresh, hot, thoughtfully prepared. They even recommended a nightcap that extended the evening beautifully. For theatergoers and night owls, this is your spot. Curtain up, then dinner here.
Their food is fabulous, the environment and service is considerable. The satay chicken and shrimp donut surprised me. The beef hot pot is a must try, the beef tendon and beef brisket is really tender and I love the noodle soup. Dessert: I high recommended the Thai mango sticky rice.
I recently stopped by this Thai restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The food was incredibly tasty, with a wide selection of dishes to choose from. I’ve eaten before in Thailand and I feel like the food in this establishment was authentic. The service was fast and friendly. It’s not that big space inside but it has a cozy vibe. No parking, but plenty of street spots. Overall, I'd recommend this place.
This place is one of those go-to comfort places for me. One of the reasons is they have an awesome tom yum soup and I’d say it’s my favorite tom yum soup in all of Queens so far. The service is quick and friendly, and the food actually comes out pretty fast. Also very instagram-able, both the food and the setting.
This place is amazing! We’ve been there twice now! Most recently went on Easter around 3-4p and it was not busy. The inside is small, and they also have outdoor seating. We started with the shrimp satay and vegetable curry puffs. The satay was seasoned so well and the peanut dipping sauce was out of this world. The vegetable curry puff was a special and had a sweet taste to it, so tasty! I had the roast pork green curry, and it was spicy!! But it was creamy and so good and ordered a side of the blue coconut rice. My partner ordered the massaman beef curry and that was spicy but not as spicy as the green curry. It was also creamy and sweet with the peanuts but had that spice. My mother had the Bangkok Crab Meat Noodles dry, with soup on the side and this was her first Thai food experience and she loved it! She finished the whole dish. For dessert we had two mango sticky rice and that is the best thing ever. They make it so perfect and the mango is so sweet and perfect! For drinks we had Gold, the Silver, and the Frozen Gem. All were perfect in taste but the Gold was coconut-y and my favorite. 11/10 recommend and will return!!
One of the best go-to Thai spots in Fresh Meadows, in my opinion. They’re very accommodating to families, especially those with young children, which is a huge plus. The food and service are consistently top notch. I usually visit for brunch, and the staff always does a great job taking care of us. They also offer a variety of Thai tea flavors, from mango to strawberry, which is a fun and interesting twist. The space itself is clean, lively, and nicely decorated. I recommend calling ahead for reservations or to check wait times for walk-ins.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Queens!! The shrimp donut is a must with crunchy outside, juicy inside. Cocktails are awesome too, especially the fruity and refreshing ones like Gold and Diamond. I really enjoyed the Chiang Mai curry noodles and the lime steamed fish. Even the pork leg rice was amazing and I usually don’t go for pork. And don’t skip the mango sticky rice it’s rich, fragrant, and the presentation is just perfect, will def go back for that!!
Lunch specials are available daily. Portions are the same as dinner (accdg to the menu) and comes with a choice of appetizer or soup (wonton soup only had 1 wonton and greens). Green curry fried rice was different, and I preferred over the sriracha one. The curries are served in a small pot, with a side of rice. Choice of crispy pork belly available for protein choice and they give a good amount (though no longer crispy when in the curries). I like their murals. Place can get tight, with tables close to each other. Outdoor sidewalk seating available. Service is fast and attentive. Restroom available. Metered and a lot of residential street parking available.
A quaint and locals-favorite Thai restaurant serving prime dishes. We enjoyed every single dish that was brought to our table. The portions are plenty to share around the table: we had a party of four and ordered 2 entrees, 3 appetizers and a dessert. The Branzino is the highlight of our dinner, which came with a grand presentation. Fish tasted clean and a hint of sweetness—delectable. We also recommend the Veggie Curry Puff, a savory and flaky goodness. As for dessert, we opted for their second best, Banana Pudding with Ice Cream since they were out of Mango Sticky Rice. Still a great choice! Highly recommend to bring a few friends and family here :)
I truly enjoyed my experience at Sup Thai! The staff were fast and efficient the entire meal bringing one dish after the next pipping hot which I thoroughly enjoyed. The food was delicious and prepared authentically and yes with a kick! The dessert that I was presented was absolutely so cute I had to take a picture and write a review!
Its was so nice. It was giving a nice homey atmosphere. The food was great, there was a lot of traditional dishes that are from thai. the dessert was the best we got soft cake with ice cream. The people work there are so nice. Its just small but I never waited more than 5/10 minutes for a table of 2/3 people. Been there a couple of times and i always gotta end with that dessert.
I think some of the best Thai restaurants are in Queens and they are often tucked away in quieter neighborhoods. I really believe that this place is a great example. If you’re looking for authentic Thai street food, this spot is worth trying. The “Sup” in Sup Thai means treasury, and the idea is that you’ll find a treasure of flavors here. One standout for me was the deep-fried chive cakes. I had never tried them before and they were an excellent appetizer. They are crispy on the outside, savory, and very satisfying after being dipped in the sauce. Everything else we ordered was well prepared and flavorful. I also appreciated that the prices are very reasonable, especially compared to many other Thai restaurants in the city. I recommend this place if you are looking for a charming, budget-friendly place, and I’d definitely come back to search for more treasures here!
My family and I come here to eat once a month and on every birthday occasion. We keep coming back because of the delicious food! I go to Thailand every year and I’m impressed with how authentic the food tastes here versus what you can eat in Thailand. That’s a testament to the quality control and attention to choosing the right ingredients to make these dishes among the best outside of Thailand. The staff is attentive and friendly overall. Except for a couple of visits for dinner, there is one particular waitress always comes off as bothered or annoyed when we asked for something like chop sticks, extra ice, or napkins. Regardless of the experience we have encountered with this particular waitress, we genuinely enjoy the food and atmosphere. The pricing here is generally high compared to other Thai restaurants, but the quality and taste makes up for it.
One of the best Thai meals I’ve had in NYC Queens! The food is incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The Tom Yum soup has the perfect balance of sour and spicy, the baby back ribs are tender and fall right off the bone, and the curries are rich without being heavy. I love the raw shrimp meat, it tastes soft and fresh! The overall presentation is beautiful and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared.Service is friendly, fast, and welcoming.Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves authentic Thai flavors!
Some of my favorite Thai food experiences in NYC have been in Queens, especially in places that don’t look flashy but focus on doing things right. This restaurant is a perfect example of that kind of hidden gem. If you’re craving authentic Thai street food, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. The menu feels thoughtful, and you can tell the flavors are rooted in tradition rather than being overly Americanized. One dish that really stood out to me was the deep-fried chive cakes. I had never tried them before, and they instantly became a favorite. Crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside, and even better when dipped into the sauce — a simple but memorable appetizer. Everything else we ordered was well executed, full of flavor, and very comforting. Another big plus is the pricing — it’s very reasonable, especially compared to many Thai restaurants in the city that charge much more for similar dishes. Overall, this is a cozy, down-to-earth place with great food and great value. I’d happily come back again to explore more dishes on the menu.
Sup Thai is such a solid spot for authentic Thai food in NYC. The flavors are bold and well-balanced — you can really taste the herbs, spices, and that proper Thai heat (you can tell they don’t hold back). The dishes came out fresh and hot, portions were generous, and everything felt thoughtfully cooked rather than rushed. The vibe is casual and welcoming, perfect for both a quick meal or a relaxed dinner. Service was friendly and efficient, and they were happy to adjust spice levels. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving real Thai flavors. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch special here today. I love that their eggplant dish did not use fish sauce… we had salmon and noodles with curry puff. Everything came out in a timely manner. The servers are so kind and accommodating— their service is stellar! We will definitely come back soon.
I recently dined at Sup Thai Kitchen on Union Turnpike and had a delightful experience overall. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The highlight of the meal was definitely the dessert, which was simply amazing and left a lasting impression. However, the service could use some improvement. The staff seemed a bit lost and not as attentive as one would hope. Despite this, the quality of the food made up for the service shortcomings.
Disclaimer: I am a Thai food junkie I gave this restaurant 4 stars because it’s not the best tasting Thai you’ll ever eat. With that said, if you’re in the fresh meadows area and would love to try great tasting Thai food this is definitely a place for that. Their customer service is great and the overall experience is inviting and pleasant. Their prices are average for meals and the portions are pretty good as well. A great addition is that you can buy Thai tea powder to enjoy at home as well. I would recommend this restaurant because I’m a stickler for great presentation which is very evident here
Did takeout on a Friday afternoon. It was busy with takeout ordered a filling up with customers. The decor is eclectic. It had a bunch of Thai knick knacks. We had the lunch special which includes an app and entree. We ordered the pad see ew, Thai Dumpling, Kao Moo Dang and won ton soup. Everything tasted very good. My only complaints are the order was luke warm, the Kao Moo Dang was on the small side and there was only 1 lonely won ton in the soup. I would go back to try something different.
Tried this Thai kitchen after our spa day today. It was delicious. For appetizers we had curry puff, fried calamari & the sip sampler. Then we had red curry, coconut soup & Tom yum soup for lunch. Everything was marvelous. The restaurant itself was quaint & the staff was attentive!
A staple for great takeout or dining in. The food is always fresh and consistent. If considering dining in, the restaurant is a bit small. Drunken Noodle (4/5) - Perfect amount of spice & vegetables. I prefer the beef over chicken, it’s more flavorful. Crispy Snapper Thai Chilli Basi Sauce (5/5) Fried really crispy & the sauce is so good. Chive Pancake (4/5) - not too greasy, crispy but a softer texture inside.
This time, I ventured into the world of Asian cuisine and stumbled upon a hidden gem in Queens—a Thai restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by the warm hospitality of the staff, who were incredibly attentive and eager to take my order. As my appetizer, I indulged in a delightful Kui Chai, a vegetarian dish that was surprisingly flavorful. The Chive Pancake, a dish that seemed to have not a vegetarian look, was equally impressive. The main dish, Thai Garlic Sauce, topped with a fried egg, was a perfect blend of flavors. The white rice, fried egg, and cucumbers created a refreshing and light sensation, making it an ideal choice for this summer. If you find yourself in the Queens area, I highly recommend this Thai restaurant. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of authentic Asian cuisine.
Foods are great! Especially the chive pancake and the pineapple fried rice are my favorites, its my must-order every time I came! The clams are slightly little salty for me but I'm not a heavy flavors person so, but it will be great with beer! Also the mango sticky rice too, very flavor, mangos not sour and with the coconut sauce, it's just so lovely ❤️
My family had an enjoyable experience here. It is a small restaurant, well arranged to accommodate many patrons. The walls and bar decorations are appealing. The staff was friendly, they always smiled, and they patiently explained the menu to us. They use handheld devices to accurately take your order and later bring it to you to pay for your meal if using a credit or debit card. It is easy to select your pre-calculated tip of 18%, 20%, or 22‰ or provide a custom amount. For iced beverages, we ordered the Lychee Thai Iced Tea and Sup Lychee Lemonade, and as a cocktail, the Sup Thong Kim (Gold). All tasted very good. We took advantage of the Lunch Specials, which is valuable because the dinner-sized entree included an appetizer at a lower price. For appetizers, we enjoyed the Chicken and Shrimp Dumplings and Crab Rangoon. The combination of Crispy Pork Belly and Drunken Noodles provides a flavorful contrast. The Squid and Bangkok Fried Rice combination is a good option for those who don't want flavor without heat. The Crispy Half Duck was succulent. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice was not too hot and full of flavor. For dessert, the beautifully presented Warm Ginger Bread Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream was enjoyable. The strawberries and mangos are nicely complemented. The ginger flavor was not prominent but was still a tasty end to the meal. This restaurant was clean, with good service and delicious food. We would dine here again.
Edit: I feel like the service is very awkward or rude. They might avoid interacting with your table or just recently, I was going through pickup and the lady looked progressively more annoyed with me as I ordered. Other than that, the food is fine, some are hit or miss. There's likely a better Thai spot.
First time purchase from this restaurant was disappointing. I had the drunken noodles with tofu and the tofu was very bland. Also the fried calamari was not edible, very rubbery and not chewable.
My 3rd time here w the fam (2 toddlers and wife). Foods always good but I guess staff doesn't like kids. All 3 times got a weird energy and attitude from staff because of the children and the stroller. 1 waitress was being nice at the end. I don't know if it's because i tipped and they assumed I might not or maybe because she saw my phone screen on their google review page. I still recommend this place regardless for the food. Just rethink your visit here if you are coming with kids and or a stroller. Ps: I understand it's a tight place but kids got to eat
If you’re someone like me who loves an adventure through cultures, this Thai spot sets the stage. From the moment you walk in, the walls offer vibrant Thai street scenes and charming bits of Thai paraphernalia. Promises an immersive experience, and the staff adds to that warmth with genuinely kind and attentive service. Once you settle in, however, the ambiance shifts. The music is tuned to Z100 pop playlist and not a Bangkok night market. Volume is hiked up forcing guests to crank up their volume in conversations. It’s a competition. Now, to the food. We started with the Phuket noodles, which were, unfortunately, the biggest miss of the night. The texture was slithery and indulgent, but the sweetness was overwhelming. The Thai green eggplant curry, on the other hand, was the standout. Yes, it leaned sweet as well, but here the heat and coconut flavors came through. Pad see ew followed the restaurant’s sweet-forward theme. It didn’t disappoint in terms of texture and overall satisfaction, but again, the sugar was hard to ignore. The fried rice with pork belly was a crowd-pleaser. Crispy, rich, and deeply satisfying. Overall, this restaurant excels in hospitality and atmosphere, offering a fun and inviting setting for a night out. An adjustment on the sugar could take this place from good to exceptional. I’d like to experience more of the Thai layers of flavors.
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Sup Thai Kitchen. I’ve ordered from here multiple times through Uber Eats and never had issues before — I’ve always enjoyed their Hainanese chicken, lemonade, and Pad Thai — which makes this experience even more frustrating. I ordered a duck salad and crispy duck over rice for pickup. Over the phone, I was told the total was $38.11, which immediately didn’t make sense since both items are listed as $16 each on their website. When I questioned this in person, I was told they “can’t update the downloadable menu” and that only the website menu is accurate — yet the website prices were not accurate either. That is misleading and unacceptable. When I got home and opened the food, there was barely any duck in both dishes, especially the duck over rice. For the price charged, the portion of duck was extremely small and not worth it at all. Even worse, the duck salad had multiple bones in it. Finding bones inside a salad is completely unacceptable and honestly a safety hazard. I had to stop and pick bones out of my food, which ruined the entire meal. For nearly $40, I received inaccurate pricing, poor portions, and careless food preparation. This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience, especially from a place I’ve ordered from before. I have added photos as proof of the portion size and the bones found in the salad. UPDATE: After posting my review, management reached out to me directly, issued a full credit for my order, and acknowledged the mistakes with both the pricing confusion and food quality. They were professional, apologetic, and said they would be addressing these issues moving forward. I truly appreciate the accountability and customer service.
Ordered a green curry mild and got this. It was like a fried rice with chicken and some veg. The first picture was what it got and the second was what was on uber app. Very disappointing! The rice tasted pretty good to a point but the mild also ended up Being quite hot after 5 mins of eating it and I’m from the Caribbean where we are accustomed to spicy food.
Im a loyal customer of this establishment. I have been coming to this place since day one. Tonight it gave a bad taste in my mouth. I brought my friend for dinner, the lady that took my order was in hurry and very rude. We waited for our food to come and it was on time. We asked for a bowl the lady was coming only one bowl (the bowl was dirty) and I told her we need 2: she replied so aggressive and rude. She threw the bowl by the counter and went to the back kitchen to get 2 bowl (start talking in thai to her co worker). After she approached us and I told why are you mad and you even threw the bowl on the counter (I show what she did) she said Im not. We start eating and we ask for serving spoon you can see the attitude. I was afraid to asked them so I took the utensil from the next table. After 20-30 minutes when everyone left, they put air conditioning on instead of heater. My friend and I was freezing inside the restaurant. Then when another customer came in they adjusted the thermostat inside the restaurant and I saw it with my own eyes. I confronted the other server she said that the heater is broken at times. I know she was lying in our face. My friend said if I get sick I will send my medical bills to you guys. She even told her to feel her hand because she was freezing. Unacceptable way of treating a loyal customer. I even left them a good tip.
