I order from the China Bistro on a regular basis. I can happily say this Bistro consistently produces good food , is priced reasonably, and has excellent service. I tend to stick with the same order, but I have tried all of the tofu dishes, and the tofu with vegetables, along with the green beans, never disappoint. The rice bowls are good value for money, and friends and family are always saying how good the meat dishes are. There's dining in as well as take out, and a lovely bit of patio seating --parking is rarely a problem. This place is really worth a try.

We had all vegetarian food and it was delicious. Recommend home style tofu, sichuan tofu and garlic green beans.

Last night was my first time at this establishment. WOW, so glad I found them on good ole Google. I ordered 2 plates, one with garlic chicken and one spicy beef. The plates come with pan fried noodles, rice and an egg roll. Everything tasted good and fresh. The noodles were not overly greasy like some places can be. The rice was fluffy. The chicken was flavorful and came with vegetables. The beef was tender and not overly spicy. I cannot wait to try other dishes there. I also did not get a headache which I usually do after eating Chinese food, maybe due to MSG? I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some yummy, reasonably priced food!

Desides to try here since Shanghai has closed. Good solid choice. Felt sorry for the really sweet server who was doing everything, except cooking, by herself. Made sure to tip her well. Had fried noodles on the chow mein.

The salad seemed to be a store bought mixture base and possibly could have used more rice vinegar on the dressing... Charmaine seemed to just have little complexity with chinese 5 spice. Beef was velveted but it couldn't carry the dish. The tea and the fortune cookie was the only thing pleasant... Also who charges to give an extra cup of tea... I just paid to be nice just horrible honestly. The images from the lunch menus are what brought me here and that is not the same quality The dining area is kinda dark being tucked into the corner but still if only the food was good. Could have been a spot to share.

The chicken and bean sprouts in gravy was in a To go box 🥡 instead of a plastic container so our bag and all other boxes were soaked in gravy. (See picture) 2. The pan friend noodles were literally dripping in oil. There was so much oil on them there was a puddle of oil left in the box after I took the noodles out of it. (See picture) 3. The chicken we received had a sour taste, I’m hoping my family doesn’t get sick from it. It tasted very off from the way it normally does.

I understand the staff are hard working immigrants, but they're outright rude. No clue how they're in their homes but it seems to me that the way they interact with customers is as coarse as they are at each other in their own culture. I'm an immigrant myself, and I try to learn and have a more positive outlook as a person to everyone, because this is the culture in California, and it is why I migrated to this country. If you're in a foreign country, I believe you need to at least try to attune to the norms in the new place. Except maybe one lady here sometimes being relatively more welcoming, everyone else almost hate that I'm at this restaurant. The place is seemingly clean, the food is "OK", but I don't feel I receive a basic level of respect as a human, and that makes me question, if they don't respect me at all, will they even care about serving clean or healthy food for me? I will no longer be going to this place. I don't need to be treated angrily by some staff to just eat some food besides all the other negativity already going on in life.
