Best Chinese in Fresno hands down. I'm from the Bay Area where good Chinese food is easy to find. It took a few years living out here to find the best Chinese spot out here. Great food customer service is on point and the prices are just right. I highly recommend flower city to any and all

I call ahead and they give me a wait time time. Food is delicious i get there teriyaki chicken rice bowls FIRE and price is unbeatable🔥

Sue was extremely attentive answering our questions about the menu. As we ate in, she brought us our meal and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious. The Moo Shu Shrimp was served with four delicate crepes, wow! It was so good my hubby ate plenty of it. The price was very reasonable given the size of the plate. This has become my go to neighbor take out or simple eat in Chinese restaurant. Thank you Flower City for having a great kitchen.

My personal favorite chow mein compared to all other Chinese food restaurants in Fresno. Been living here all my life, and no one matches how they make their food. Truly a gem of Chinese cuisine, and the portions are guaranteed to fill you up. Love how fast and on point they are for their orders too.

I absolutely love this place. It gets busy on weekends so order ahead. Prices are fair and the servings are good size. The pork fried rice so far is best in Fresno in my opinion. If you don't like flavorful chow mein and you like the plain sloppy goo like the other places don't order that here. I hear the orange chicken is awesome however it's spicy. (I can't do spicy) The black mushroom is phenomenal. This is go to Chinese when I get a craving. I've tried lots of other places and this is one of the two I visit. Try it out and love it!

Flower City has been out go-to take out place for 20+ years. Their orange chicken is some of the best in town, and we literally did and side by side by side test with some of the higher rates places in town. Special chow mein or Special fried rice is the way to go as well. Have never been disappointed. Staff is and has always been friendly and polite. I'll drive across town to get take out from here. Excellent food that has stood the test of time.

Since we moved to this town a few years ago this is the only place we buy our takeout Chinese food now, it is not over salted, very simple and delicious, never gotten sick, service is super fast, not a restaurant you can sit for dinning but we love to take it home. I recommend their Orange chicken and Kung Pao is great.

I'm pretty sure this is a pick up only operation. Very large portions and very taste. And the people are very nice. Also for people like my wife who is crazy and will only eat white meat, I swear she is not racist, you substitute white meat chicken in all the dishes for like $1.25. But obviously dark meat is better and only crazy people like white meat better

A family favorite. Hassle free cheap Chinese. I have literally watched the kid behind the counter grow up. Not the best food in town, definitely not the worse. Not a disappointment in 15 years. Best to call in your order. Can get pretty busy on the weekends. Dine-in is pretty much nonexistant.

Fun trivia, when you get there, look over the doorway to the kitchen. The drawing of the dragon was done by my father and given to the owner. So look up at the picture of his dragon as they prepare your order and maybe you come away with some good fortune to go with the good food.

The orange chicken was of the best I have ever had and I've had a lot of Chinese food. The portion was very generous and I was very satisfied.

Just moved to Fresno and this is the spot to order Chinese food from!!! Am vegan so I am always cautious. They had no problem accommodating my and making my dish all vegan! Love it ! Highly recommend 👌

This is my go-to place for affordable take-out Chinese food. Big portions and not too greasy (that is the only way I can judge good from bad Chinese food) at a decent price. Not the nicest place inside, but great for take-out. We have tried many things on the menu and they have all been solid.

The owners here are really nice folks. The food is pretty much what you'd expect for takeout both in price and quality. I used to visit it more but since I'm diabetic I have to be very careful my consumption of noodles and rice. I'll have to make visit again and then perhaps update this review.

This place is to go only. We live about 25 mins away, and our food was still hot. I just got pork fried rice and pork Chow mein and they were delicious. We also got the Kung pao beef and orange chicken. They were all delicious. The price overall was cheaper than what we've paid anywhere else.

I bought some choices to take home. There is only take out here. The service was nice and the food came out fast. It was a long drive back home and difficult not to dig into it on the drive, it smelled so good! We all agreed it was delicious.

The young lady there Monday,,has no customer service values. She could careless what i wanted or had to say! Disappointed! food is great! But she needs help.

Fast service and friendly people. Food tastes like it was cooked with soy sauce and sugar only. The noodles were good though.

Chicken dish I paid $1.50 extra for white meat was good, chicken used in the dish I didn't upgrade was not high quality, some extra fat and gristle, one piece inedible as it was entirely what I'll call gristle. Dishes normally served over rice or noodles may not come with either, be sure to check, don't assume. Curry chicken, for instance, was curry flavored chicken and lots of vegetables, but little to no broth and without rice or noodles. Take out only.

I Really Really wanted to give this place a great rating for my 1st experience with them but, they messed up my favorite Chinese dish. Singapore noodles had absolutely no flavor or seasoning whatsoever. Singapore noodles are usually so packed with curry flavors and spices that I eat them plain with no soy sauce or liquid amino. Unfortunately, not these noodles. I could have actually added table salt they were so plain. My guy got beef & broccoli 🥦 and his complaint that it was way more broccoli than beef. I asked him how was his food because it was my idea & my treat and we drove across town specifically to try their food. His response "It's ok". Not what I like to hear after spending $51 bucks on takeout food for the weekend. Potstickers were good but, there was no potsticker sauce for me. Only Chinese Musrd that I don't care for at all and some chili oil based sauce that didn't work. My Man had to pull out his sweet & sour sauce & soy sauce from the pantry for me to try & enjoy this meal. I also ordered Chinese Chicken Salad which was missing a few ingredients like toasted sesame and peanuts that add to the flavor of the dish. This salad was a huge bed of iceberg lettuce topped with sliced battered chicken cut into slices with the sweet clear dressing that you pour on yourself. Sorry Flower, not My Fave... We are used to more elevated flavors when we order Chinese so you can eat it without saucing it up and it tastes great without being doctored up.

Sweet and sour chicken and pork over pan-fried noodles. The chicken was crisp and not all that tough nor flavorful, but the noodles really ruined the plate for me. Really weird aftertaste in my mouth with wayyy too much sauce for the serving size. Serving size was very reasonable though.

I didn't realize the dish didn't come with a side of white rice, which is usually a normal thing with almost every American Chinese restaurant I've been to in America. The dish itself was bland, which is surprising. The hot sauces didn't help. I honestly don't think I want to go again, but I must admit, the restaurant was quite busy with phone orders. Great service the place is really small and the food is not good except for the egg rolls the worst chow mein it was plain no sauce no flavor

I started ordering food from them in 2001 and there food used to be top of the line until I was getting ready to call up and place an order and this friend of mine showed me pictures of his food order with a cockroach in it and for me that ends it right there. Sad but after over 21 years I won't be ordering anymore food from F.C.R.

Everything was bland and tasteless. 3 hours after eating, my husband got food poisoning and threw everything back up. We are definitely never going back. Food and service is just not the same as it used to be. I rather get Panda Express. Not worth the wait and money

People talk about how wonderful the Orange chicken is... There must be be a different cook today 1/8/24 its like biting into a Chile pod. Nice and Nasty Hot it should come with Spicy Warnings!!!!

So I called and complained he said come back and we'll get your fried rice. So I drove back and should have checked before leaving but the bag was tied tight, when I got back home the second time I was given a pile of white rice with a little soy sauce on it for color... that is not fried rice!! so upset 😡 see pics if google will let me upload them.

Ordered and paid for food today. Cashier over charged account the amount and adding a tip. She tried to blame me for adding a tip. Why would I tip 22% on an order I am picking up!!??!! She then proceeded to call her manager , would not let me speak to manager. I paid for food AGAIN because she said she canceled payment even thought it continued to show on my account. I remained un-upset as I understand things happen. But then she gave me attitude when I asked for proof of my canceled original payment in case charges did go through. She threw business card at me???!!! I asked why are you upset, she just repeated herself and asked if I could help me anymore??! First you didn’t help me you caused me such an inconvenience and did not care what she had done. I asked for managers name , with attitude, she asked do you want to speak to him because he is in the back!!?!! WHAT!!?? But yet he never came up front to help!!?! BEWARE if you come here or have cash and add your own total up!!!
