Opinions de Rock & Noodles Fresno
It a very small little restraunt whenever it busy it gets really crowded and hardly any space and very narrow to dine in but the food was worth it! You can taste the heat from the food whenever you order something stir fried, i always go for the ja jang myun and recently just tried jjamppong and it also one of my favorite now too!!
First time at Rock & Noodles, I ordered an Orange Chicken plate. It included a small salad with a sweet dressing, that tasted like pineapple, and veggie fried rice. The Orange Chicken was very tasty. It was chunks of lightly battered tender, juicy white meat coated with orange glaze. The fried rice was the best I've had in quite some time. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I had the Jjamppong and the Kimchi! Both were phenomenal! The Jjamppong was one of the best Korean type soups I’ve had; there was plenty of mussels, and the broth had an excellent flavor/mild spice to it. I thought the kimchi was solidly above average; it’s better kimchi than you will find most places! I’ll make sure to be back next time I’m in Fresno! I was impressed!
To say this establishment met my expectations is an understatement. Moreover, it was myeon-d (Korean for noodles) my expectations! I wasn’t expecting great portion sizes, so I ordered myself more than I could finish in one sitting. Food was great, even the establishment is homey and cozy on the inside. For what I paid, is most certainly worth the price!
They are pretty authentic in terms of Korean food. They got a bit of everything, mainly on noodles and rice plates. Me and my partner were usually there for their noodle soups. Great taste and good portions for the price!
Food is super good. Friendly hostess. And I LOVE their cats and dogs videos.
This place has great food and good prices. Very clean and friendly. Highly recommend.
Best Korean food we’ve ever had! If you’re looking to support a literal mom and pop shop, make this your next spot. We tried this place for the first time a couple of days ago and I’m drooling just thinking of their yummy food. My boyfriend was impressed with their portion sizes and we were happy to have enough leftovers to take home. The kind lady that took our order was very attentive and welcoming.
Delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. Very affordable too. It's definitely worth coming back to and I will recommend to friends and family.
Super delicious dishes. Large portions. Fast & friendly service. Clean & cozy little restaurant. Surpassed our expectations. Totally recommend! ;)
They are always extremely friendly, even when super busy, they try their hardest to get the food out quickly. The food always has immaculate flavors, it’s never a miss, and Korean ice coffee hits the spot. The portions are better than what one can imagine for the price, the bowls can even be shared! I highly recommend. My family and I have been going at least a year now and it’s still the comfiest delicious place ever here in Fresno.
Restaurant is a little hidden. It can be a little tricky finding the entrance, but the entrance is on the right side of the building. Parking was sufficient for a small location. A little outdated on the inside but guest services made up for it. Sweet ladies. Food was fantastic. Price was on point. The amount of food they gave you is more than enough for three people to eat on. Portion sizes are very large. We took our left overs home, and my family of four were able to eat on our meals three times that day. I would recommend checking it out.
Love it here ! The food is bomb and the portions are big . The waitress is very nice once you settle in and are a repeat customer. I recommend their jjajangmyeon highly ! If you like seafood and a lot of spice you have to try the Jjamppong , the noodles are amazing!
This place is excellent! I wasn't expecting the portion size to be large! Nowadays you pay more and get less! But this is actually worth it! The fried rice with the short ribs is my favorite! The fried rice was amazing! Probably one of the best I've had in a while! I live about 2 hours away but I would definitely recommend this place! I was very impressed with everything. The lady there was also very very kind! My water cup was always refilled when it was low! ++
If you want jjajangmyeon or jjamppong, come here. Ate most of the jjajangmyeon before I remembered to take a picture 😅 Portions are big, so it was good that we asked for the sauce on the side for the Tangsuyuk.
I absolutely love going to Rock N Noodle. They never disappoint me and my family. They make the best Korean food in town and they're Orange chicken, Chow mein, and everything else they make is second to none.
Simply the best Korean food in Fresno! The restaurant is simple, however the food and friendly service is amazing. First time I visited this place was in 2018. Don’t come here often, but never been disappointed.
I’ve been craving Korean food and this place, rocks! I was in the mood for some noodles and some bulgogi beef and well, cravings is satisfied. I ordered the jajangmyun with beef. The noodles were cooked just right. It was full of flavor and unlike anything in the area. I would recommend this dish. I then ordered the Bulgogi Beef with veggie fried rice. Holy smokes! The beef was so tasty and with a very tasty fried rice, it was much to be desired. I would so recommend. The portion sizes is enough for a 2nd meal. This place is amazing and my wife and I will be back.
Good food and the portions are huge. hot wings are very tasty, juicy, and crispy. The udon and jjamppong noodle bowls are BIG. You definitely get more for your money here.
The food was so delicious! I had orange chicken, ja jang myun, fire chicken, shrimp chow mein and Pork bulgogi plate. Fried rice was perfect! This is one of the best authentic Korean restaurant in town. Definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic Korean restaurant.
I don’t know where to start. I have been coming to this place for over 6 years and it never has let me down! Pro tip.. get the bacon fried rice! I love the fire chicken it’s got a little kick to it but it’s too spicy at all. The potstickers have a little crispy edge to them and the dipping sauce is great. The ramen is excellent as well. Even the little side salad has a very tasty dressing on it. Lately I have been on a beef bulgogi kick. There’s usually no wait time and service is very friendly. Is does not have fountain soda so you pay per can or bottle but that should it deter you at all! Highly recommend to literally everyone.
Maaaaan listen, I'm high key obsessed with this place!! I swear I've been here multiple times and every time they get it right 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 I don't even have pictures of each time I come because the food is so good I just automatically start eating it's ALWAYS made fresh, the scolding hot food is purely authentic and nothing less of flavorful 😋😋 my only complaint is that rock and noodles is not available on doordash 😭😂 My favorite dish is the Jajangmyun, fire chicken plate, beef bulgogi annnd everything else I've ever ordered

Their pork udon noodle soup was very flavorful and delicious. The service was very welcoming. Definitely would like to come here again for lunch or dinner.
A few times now. Super clean and never busy, at least all the times I've been there. I love the Jampong though! Very good. Highly recommend.
This Place Is A Little Hidden Gem!!!💎 The Service Was Great & The Food Was Even Better!!! EVERYTHING Was Very Flavorful. Look Forward to Coming Back Again. Thanks & God Bless
Delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. Very affordable too. It's definitely worth coming back to and I will recommend to friends and family.

I had seen some advertisements of this place and while in fresno I decided to give it a try. When you get the the resturant the door is located on the north side of the building. Its a small resturant with tvs playing funny vine videos that my kids loved to watch. The service was amazing our server could have not been any nicer! We ordered a few items first was the eggrolls. Unfortunately they were not made in house and were just frozen and fried the typically ones you see at Asian buffets. Im not a fan of them. I also ordered the orange chicken bowl with white rice the serving portion was a good size and the fry on the orange chicken was crunchy and light. The orange sauce was very sweet the orange taste seemed to be artificial like its a bottled sauce almost no tang from vinegar. Next was the teriyaki chicken combination plate with fried rice. This was very good the chicken was cook well and the teriyaki sauce was on point. The fried rice was great full of flavor and the texture of the rice was bouncy and not over cooked. We also got the chicken chow mein the portion is huge. The noodles were thicker then other places I have been to and seemed to be made fresh they had a great chew to them and the sauce in the chow mein was amazing. They last dish i got was the main reason for going i have seen this dish many times but have never found a place that serves it. It was jajangmyeon i got mine with beef. This dark gravy made of bean paste, cabbage, onions, and beef was served over fresh noodles. The flavor was not very strong very light on salt. I dont dislike it not do i think i liked it. I will have to try another restaurant that makes it to know what to compare it too. I recommend you go try it for your self and comment what you thought of it.
The service was great. The atmosphere was welcoming . The food was good. I had the beef udon. I was good, but the beef was tough. My son got the teriyaki chicken. He liked it. But for him, it had too much teriyaki sauce for his liking. My husband had the pork udon. He loved the broth. We also had the orange chicken appetizer. I was delicious.
Pork Ramen (Spicy): I am a big fan of Ramen and so I was eager to try the Pork Ramen. I was expecting a rich Tonkotsu broth but the soup wasn't flavorful. It had a good variety of veggies in it, even though I added salt and soy sauce, it didn't help the dish. The Pork meat pieces in this Ramen tasted as if they were only boiled in water. I don't think I would order this for myself again. Dish score 2/5 🌟 Beef Bulgolgi Bowl (Spicy): The Beef Bulgolgi was GREAT! The meat was tender and very flavorful. The spicy level wasn't uncomfortable either. This dish had a great balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. One of the better Bulgolgi's I have had in the area. The bowl size was decent too. I think I will add a fried egg on it the next time I order this dish. I definitely recommend this! Dish score 5/5 🌟 Fast and friendly service. They had K-Pop playing on their big screen. Which made it a fun atmosphere. I'm eager to try other dishes here.

Our Server was super friendly. The Menu and price was ok. The plates looked nicely served. The food was ok , but Not my personal favorite place to eat . My daughter liked the food . First thing when I walked in that hit me , was the smell . It was awful. Maybe that is why I didn’t enjoy the food. Personally I would have left right away , but I took my daughters friend and friends to eat there , as her friend choose that place to eat for her graduation dinner.
It's a small place. I personally don't like sitting an arms length away from a stranger while eating. The small side of kimchi was $6 dollars which seemed overpriced. The pork bulgogi was not as spicy as I would have liked. The fire chicken was just the right amount of spicy. The fried rice was perfectly seasoned. The black bean noodles were delicious. The portions were good for the price. There isn't really any service except when they take the order and bring out the food. It's pretty open that you can hear everything happening in the back. I'd probably take it to go next time so I can eat peacefully.

went here with my friend because i’ve heard people often talk about this spot online, so we drove quite a distance out here to try it out. when we came into the restaurant the atmosphere was quiet, not a problem at all. the food was pretty good, but the service could be better. the waitress with the curly hair and glasses made us feel like we weren’t necessarily welcomed. when she took our order my friend wanted an ingredient left out of his dish and she looked at him annoyed and said it already came with it and he had to take it out himself. the issue wasn’t the fact they couldn’t adjust his order it was the way she replied to him. furthermore, throughout the visit the waitress kept disappearing, didn’t check in with us and waving her down for the bill was hard to get by. just no interaction whatsoever. however, the other lady that was there was kind and helped us in the end. another thing, whatever they were playing on the big tv was far from being appropriate for a restaurant setting and both of us almost lost our appetite.

I just wanna say I’m very disappointed of eating here. Been a regular customer for a while never in my life had an experience like this, especially one of my favorite spots to eat I will never order from here ever again or recommend anybody to come here or support their business ever again. I always had good experience with The rock noodle restaurant but today wasn’t it. I ordered to go around 3:51 PM & when I received my food & when I got home & started eating, I found metal shavings in my Korean noodle Jjamppong soup so disappointing so upset with these people if this is how they run their business and serve their customers That’s a big safety hazard & very unsanitary never again will I eat from this place ever again I stopped eating immediately. My stomach started hurting after this place should shut down for type of behavior
