I went to put in a Togo order because my daughter had wanted to try fufu and egusi. I was gently greeted by Obhei who had such a kind personality. The minute we arrived our to go order turned quickly into a stay and sit down because the environment was warm and welcoming. Obhei also helped us out while she was on break. We were instantly greeted with such warm welcoming presence. Ola also brought such vibrancy and warmth to our table too. The food had been filled with such p Like where we were perfect flavor combinations and as if it was made with love. We ended up having shrimp with rice as well. What made it perfect was the fact that the shrimp did not over power the other ingredients. My children loved it and I can not get them to eat shrimp. We will be back to try new dishes!
We had an exquisite experience at M&M African Kitchen. We ordered several dishes and everything was absolutely delicious. All their dishes were so flavorful and large enough to share. The owners are kind and entertaining. The location is beautiful and extravagant. We felt like royalty!
OK this placd is amazing. This is the best texture fufu I have ever had. It is so soft and malleable. The egusi is also off the chain. It has a little kick to it (relatively mild) the chicken is tender. The flavor is amazing. The lady was so so nice to ask if I had a fish allergy in advance to make sure I could enjoy the food. The interior of this building is very Instagram worthy. Gorgeous decoration. I will definitely go back and get food here. I have already posted it in a local group and I anticipate they are about to get a lot of visitors 😂
My friends and I went to M&M African Kitchen in Frisco on karaoke night and had an amazing time. We ordered the suya, lamb chops with rice, lemon drop cocktails, and everything was so good. The food was very flavorful, served hot and presentation was nice. Especially the Suya! We got multiple plates. The vibes were great all night, especially with karaoke, and the service from everyone was excellent. This was my second time visiting, and once again, the experience did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is also very beautiful def sets the vibe. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend for great food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere.
I have never gave anyone 5 stars on good rating but here the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome by the lady that took my order the friend of the owners she is a keeper & the owners are awesome there daughter was a sweet heart as well the food was fresh to order perfectly seasoned not to mention they will be having karaoke night and Fat Tuesday they have great customer service I will be back
The atmosphere was so calm and welcoming I loved it. The ladies were so sweet and I love how they showed us what to do ❤️ we had the egusi soup with chicken and it was so so good
so full of flavor, amazing 12/10 would get it again and an amazing staff so full of love and personality. Che’val and her husband were both amazing, so warm and inviting. Fufu and egusi was phenomenal, if you don’t like spicy see if you can have them make it less spicy but overall 12/10 sososo good.! 😊
I was there for pick up too good Togo order. Food was great, amazing atmosphere and energy. The owner was super nice and friendly.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is by far amazing as well. The way they can describe how it hits your taste. Buds is so scrumptious. And the service is phenomenal, they make sure you feel at home and welcome every step of the way. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed and it's not too rushed. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the area!
I tried their beef suya and jollof rice. The rice has an amazing smokiness to it, full of flavor and pairs very well with the beef. The beef has a spiciness to it that is also full of earthy flavours. The provided vegetables are the cooling factor for it. I had a zobo beverage that also was full of flavor, fruitiness with herbal notes. The service was great and welcoming.
My first experience in M & M African Kitchen remains memorable.. They have yummy foods and a unique ambience. This kitchen reminds me of the likes of Tasty Fried Chicken,Sweet Sensation & Tantalisers in Nigeria. Thank you for bringing the Nigerian taste to us in Dallas.
This was my first time trying Nigerian food and the staff was extremely friendly. The mixed shawarma was exceptional. And the beef shuya was so good. They were sold out of the jollof rice but I will be back to try it next time!
I recently visited M&M African Kitchen, and I must say I was truly impressed. Their Jollof rice is one of the best I’ve had—very tasty, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I also tried their pepper soup, and it was delicious with the right amount of spice and richness. The prices are just right, offering great value for the quality of food you get. I was also pleased with how quickly the food came out. Overall, M&M African Kitchen has earned a spot on my list of favorites. Highly recommended!
Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I found them on Google and brought my family here. They loved it, even my mom who is picky liked it. The place was very clean and the decor was beautiful. Staff was very warm and welcoming. I would definitely come back.
First time trying Nigerian food and it did not disappoint. We ordered a few things to share and our favorite was the shawarma, egusi(?), and the suya meat. Service was great too! We will be back again to try their jollof (they were sold out 😭)
Since discovering this restaurant, I’ve been happily relieved of my cooking duties! Every meal I’ve ordered has been absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is so inviting. The customer service is truly unmatched. If you’re craving authentic Nigerian dishes, look no further, this is the place! My personal favorite is the mixed shawarma, and the pepper soup was perfectly spicy and exactly what I needed to help kick my cold. This spot has quickly become my go to and favorite place for authentic Nigerian meals in the Frisco area.

The Amala here was absolutely on point. Rich and authentic in flavor. The space is clean, beautiful, and the customer service was welcoming. As a restaurant owner who values real and authentic food, I have definitely found a new favorite Amala spot. I wish this restaurant nothing but success.

Excellent service, nice ambience, and great food. The amala was delicious, and for a native home town girl, you took me home for a second. That elubo was original and I loved the drawing jute leaf (ewedu) with the melon seed. Thank you for being authetic with that dish. The smoky jollof was tantalizing my throat and that pepper soup knocked out all the residual drainage of my cold symptoms. Well done!!! Please, it it up, and I will be back!!
I recently visited M&M African Kitchen and was Blown away by the variety and assortment of dishes and cuisines that they had I ended up getting a Beef Shawarma, and amala abula With beef and goat, the food was amazing, absolute outstanding service from their team members while maintaining an absolute perfect environment for an African restaurant. I tend to come to these places for the culture and food assortment and was not disappointed. I would Recommend anyone who is trying new culture dishes And going to the pleasing aesthetic it all around with an amazing experience and I will be returning.
The place is really nice. The set up and the people are very welcoming. My experience was pleasing. I rated the food 3 stars because of the portions and price. The taste was pleasing for what I ordered but I definitely didn’t get 76.00 worth of food when you look at portions. I would say give them a visit but from ordering what I ordered from different African spots, the portions here were small. 3 whole wings for 16.00 plus dollars that came with only strips of onions. A small portion of the bowl of beef suya (I know beef is high so maybe that’s the reason( but definitely wasn’t 26.00 dollars worth. Overall it was worth trying.
Saw this restaurant on TikTok last week and decided to give it a try this weekend. I ordered the egusi with fish and it was delicious, however, the portion size was extremely small. They gave two pieces of fish, which was great , however, there was barely any soup in the bowl. I was really happy to see that they had kids meals however, for the price of the kids meal , the portion of rice was extremely small. I literally had to make my six-year-old an additional meal after he ate his jollof rice and chicken leg from here. He loved the rice, but he said that he didn’t have enough food. The staff seemed nice and the restaurant was clean and cute. Chances are I will be back again. Wishing this restaurant, much success.

M&M African Kitchen recently opened, and I was curious to check it out. The space itself is clean, well decorated, and thoughtfully laid out for being on the smaller side. Unfortunately, my visits left me with mixed feelings. On my first visit, I was disappointed that they were already out of a few menu items I was hoping to try, such as moi moi and meat pies. As someone who isn't very familiar with Nigerian cuisine, I came in eager to learn more about the food and culture. That's part of what draws me to restaurants like this an opportunity to expand my understanding of a cuisine not often represented in the DFW area. But I've noticed a pattern with the two Nigerian restaurants I've visited and that is the servers often aren't Nigerian and don't know much about the dishes. That makes it difficult for newcomers like me to ask questions or get recommendations. The owners and chefs clearly have the knowledge, but they're usually too busy running the place to spend much time explaining the menu. On opening day, I ordered the mixed meat shawarma to go, since the restaurant was packed for a tasting event. It seems like members of the tasting event were prioritized and maybe the quality of the food and experience were better for them. The shawarma we received didn't quite match the picture on the menu. The photo showed more of a traditional shaved meat style, but what we got was shaved beef with what seemed to be a hotdog sausage tucked in. The flavor was just okay, but overall it fell short of expectations. I decided to give them another try before writing a review. On my second visit, I had a brief chance to speak with the owner about the shawarma. He explained that the sausage was their way of setting their version apart from others in the area. I expressed my concern about how most people wouldn't expect a sausage in the shawarma and I also offered other suggestion for some things that might help the place run more efficiently as service was a bit slow. He suggested we try the Egusi soup, so we ordered that along with a meat pie. The soup, unfortunately, was served cold in the center despite the bowl being warm on the outside. After sending it back, it returned lukewarm. The flavor was actually good, but serving temperature really hurt the experience. The meat pie was decent, but it arrived after the soup instead of beforehand, which was surprising since I had expected it as more of an appetizer. I wanted to like this place, especially since it's within biking distance from my home. I was really looking forward to making it a spot where I could explore Nigerian dishes and culture more deeply. For now, though, the execution isn't there. I hope they'll iron out these issues with time. I gave 3 stars because while the place has potential, the food execution and lack of knowledgeable guidance made for a bit of disappointing experience.

This place opens at 12:00 PM on Saturdays, but I still waited 38 minutes for my food—even though no one was there before I arrived and I was the first customer. When the food finally came, it was still disappointing. The server also seemed to have communication issues. She took my order, but it didn’t come out correctly. I ordered Abula and specifically asked for extra gbegiri, but the Abula arrived with zero gbegiri—honestly it felt like negative gbegiri lol. What’s worse is this is the second time this exact issue has happened. The meat also needed more seasoning (or at least salt). The place is well decorated but I didn't come for decoration or to be part of the decorations.
