Delicious! Came in for the $6 drink/sandwich deal and it hit the spot! Great service by Maddy and Raneem. Place was busy and they handled it like a pro!!! Def will be back! 😀

This is an amazing place for coffees, teas, frappe drinks, and some sandwiches, pastries, and desserts. They are quality on all points and will not let you down when it comes to a drink that tastes like your coffee or tea AND what's in it,not just one or the other or a sweet mess,but they can and do make really sweet drinks for those that prefer them.

I love coming to this place in the mornings. Staff is super kind and gets items out fast. Jentezen was my server today and he put a smile on my face with the way he carried himself and treated customers like family. I love the coffees but the pastries are lovely also.

I recently moved to the area and was thrilled to know that there was a coffee shop walking distance of my house. My husband and I were in the middle of unpacking a cross country move and thought we’d give the place around the corner, Sweetwaters, a try and I am SO GLAD WE DID! The French Vietnamese Au Lait is incredible. It’s my everyday drink now. They do a great job at remaining consistent with their drinks. Their service is great and the staff is friendly. I am confident that if I ever had an issue, they’d resolved it. I had a chat with the owner and she said she recently cleaned house and brought on all new staff, so if anybody had a bad experience with staff, I urge you to come back! The ambiance of the place is nice and not overstimulating like other coffee shops. It’s the perfect place to go with my newborn and 4 year old. I’m just really happy we found this place and will patronize it as long as we live here!

Not a lot of coffee shops open early in the area. They open at 6am which is what I like as an early person. Lots of selection for coffee hot or cold. Lots of selection for food as well. The sitting area is nice. Lots of tables for 1 or 2 person, a larger table at the end and comfy seats at the front. Cool thing they do is partner with PrintWithMe where you can send your documents to print and then collect them. There is a fee and using the service is pretty easy if you have use similar service. You email your documents and it will be printed. Staffs are friendly too explaining their menu. Clean dining area and bathroom too 😬

The kitchen service was fast and convenient, despite an art show occurring. The menu was very easy to read, although, unless you're used to coffee shop lingo you might not be sure about certain options. The crew members were friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The business was very clean. The lemon bar and strawberry lemon drink was accurate and delicious, although maybe a little over blended in regards to being a frozen drink. The art show made it probably a little louder and slower than their typical experience so overall a great experience. I will return.

Nice new coffee shop in North Frisco. The place was clean and welcoming. We ordered a Creme Caramel and it was ready in no time. The staff was courteous and patient, given our first time there. It is directly across the street from the new UNT building on Preston.

Such a great atmosphere!! I came all the way from England to check this place, the owner being my aunt Debra. Awesome service, had such a fantastic day there. Loved the food, and the drinks. Recently ventured to Sweetwaters Cafe and had a great experience. I went in to work there for a few hours and catch up with a friend. While we were there it was a good atmosphere; not too loud we couldn’t talk or too quiet that it was weird we were. I ordered the Dreamy Cold Brew and a Croissant Egg Sandwich. The cashier was kind and helped me order since it was my first time. I was not disappointed. If you’re nearby I say give it a try!

I would go here almost once a week because I had class at the Frisco campus across the street. The sweets are so good! The chocolate cake is delicious and the red velvet was also pretty good. If you’re in the area and want something sweet with your coffee I would recommend this place. Great place to do homework too.

It’s so nice to have something like this within walking distance, and although it is a chain it really doesn’t feel like one. My daughter and I love their drinks and their food, and often try their seasonal drinks when they come out. It’s also awesome that they have local art for sale on the walls, it’s all way out of my price range but it’s something we enjoy looking at each time we go. The staff is always sweet and happy to answer questions and help you out, and you can either go inside or do the drive-thru. I definitely recommend it!

Their drinks are fantastic - high quality teas and coffee drinks with a variety of flavors. Their iced French Vietnamese cafe au lait is my current favorite. Their baked goods and desserts are great too. Cute seasonal merch like mugs for Lunar new year

Today this is what my order looked like. This is allegedly “matcha”. This is their standard and quality of their food. They smashed everything into a pile and watered down some milk and called it good. Do not go here this is completely inedible and unacceptable. Edit: No, DoorDash is not responsible for this. The defensive nature of the response to my review reveals even more about this owner and the quality of their customer service. The brown bag this order was in, was stapled shut and completely in tact. The bag was not tampered with or crushed. The team who put this order together clearly smashed the food into the bottom of the bag and are blaming DoorDash. Additionally, your matcha not being visually acceptable isn’t the core complaint. The drink was disgusting and quite literally tasted like mud water. Regardless I live behind this store, what could’ve happened in a 60 second drive to magically transform this order inside an unopened bag? The quality of the food, the drinks, and the customer service was unacceptable. Two minutes up the road there’s a Starbucks, don’t waste your time or money here.

Disappointed Regular — This Might Be My Last Visit I’ve been a loyal customer at Sweetwaters for nearly a year now. Almost every day, I come in for the French Vietnamese Au Lait and a slice of coffee cake. That drink has become something I genuinely look forward to — its taste gives me comfort and a boost, especially on hard days. But I have to say, there were many times the same thing happened but this time I’ve been disappointed very hardly, and this time, it was enough for me to finally write a review for the second time (on the same issue). Today, I ordered my usual drink, hoping it would help ease my headache and lift my mood. Unfortunately, what I received was barely half a cup, filled mostly with foam. I finished it in about 4–5 sips. I was removing the foam with a disposable spoon i had in my car and it was just keep on seeing the faom and for a drink that costs over $6, that’s just not acceptable. When I hold the cup I can really sense if its filled or not. When there is a barely drink in it then it is pretty much lightweight like a bird feather. Today It was like a feather. I’ve held back from writing a negative review before because honestly, most of the staff are hardworking and do a great job. I always tip, out of appreciation. But it’s frustrating to receive inconsistency, especially when you’re a regular customer. Also, sometimes the atmosphere is off — a few staff give such serious looks that it feels unwelcoming. And the coffee cake sometimes its very thick piece sometimes its hardly a single bite. I really dont want to spend almost 10 dollars everyday on them. The inconsistency!!!!!! As much as I’ve loved this place and this drink, I think this was my last visit. Thanks for the memories — but consistency and value matter too. — A once-dedicated customer

I go fairly regularly and it has gone down hill since May. 3 times in the last week I’ve been the only person in the store and it’s taken 10+ minutes to get me 2 drinks. Today I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and it took 15 minutes for me to get an egg and cheese biscuit. I didn’t realize it was wrong until I got to work and I didn’t have the time to go back to get it fixed.
