Great food, prices and service! The steak with bacon is really nice. Getting the lunch/early dinner menu has amazing food and prices. Very modern compare to other branches, the outside/patio area is really nice if weather permits.

We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. He used his Saltgrass points. The food was delicious and the service staff was attentive. We will come back more often. Great spot for a date night or with family. They had live music in the patio area.

Took my wife on a date at this Saltgrass in Fulshear. The atmosphere was great, the waitress was very attentive and the food was amazing. We’ll definitely come back to this place. Overall it was a great experience.

Melanie was great. She was super helpful everything and her suggestions for food was incredible. She had the features and the menu memorized like the back of her hand. It was the most amazing Sunday afternoon outdoor seating experience that we could have thoroughly enjoyed our time.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Salt Grass Restaurant! The Sirloin steak and New York steak were cooked to perfection, the Oscar salmon was delightful, and the burgers were simply mouthwatering. The diverse menu catered to everyone's tastes, and the attentive service made our evening memorable. A must-visit for food enthusiasts! The staff's hospitality and prompt service truly enhanced our overall satisfaction.

Wow! 5 stars because I can't give 10! The main thing about this Saltgrass location is the service and the atmosphere oh and the food!!! I started with the fried pickles and peppers appetizer. They were amazing!!! That was a big basket and the peppers were not too hot, just right! Then I had the fried shrimp- so tasty- they have a little spice on them- totally amazing!! The service was outstanding!!!! Augie was a total rock star- we had a large party- we never had to wait or ask for anything- that kind of service is truly an experience!. The music playing was definitely in the Texas / Country/ Rock.... I can't wait to go back!! I think I have found my new favorite.!! Saltgrass Fulshear, a great experience.Thanks for the great time and hiring Augie!!!! Thank you- will be back!!!!!

Absolutely love this Saltgrass location. The staff is extremely friendly, excellent at remembering names and your typical orders and the service is always wonderful. Love, love, love the bartenders (Adrian, Laurelai, Maci & Rowan) and the manager Wes is too cool. We are always met with a warm welcome and given a heartfelt goodbye whenever we visit. Fulshear doesn’t have a ton of options right now but Saltgrass is always a solid go-to place for lunch or dinner. I can always find something on their menu I’m craving and they just don’t disappoint.

It's the neighborhood fave!! Mom and I are here at least once a week! Sometimes we eat more lightly, sometimes not so much 😁 We usually split an entree because Mom doesn't eat a lot. The service is excellent, attentive. I recommend the potato soup, amongst other things. Sometimes I just get soup and a vegetable side. Try the asparagus!!

The service was outstanding! Our server was Paola Bueno and she was super friendly, attentive, professional, and had a beautiful smile!! She got our order exactly right and made sure we had plenty of bread and our sweet tea never ran dry!! The steaks were cooked exactly as ordered, the wedge salad was divine, grilled chicken sandwich, brisket queso, fried pickles and peppers, and the carrot cake was out of this world!! 10/10 would highly recommend!!! Also, would recommend joining the Landry’s club……I am a member and received $25 off for my birthday discount as a member!!

Great food and cozy atmosphere. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is the wait time to be seated. Once we sat down, though, Meghan turned the evening around. Her professionalism and charm really stood out.

Chris and Isabel was our servers.. they were awesome!! The food came out on time..the staff at that Saltgrass was very attentive and worked great with each other. They also had a thick cut applewood glazed bacon on their appetizers. Omg that was awesome! I haven’t seen another Saltgrass offer that yet, hope more put it on their appetizers..

The food is here is always good and consistent, and the cocktails are great too. Even though it was a Friday night, we were seated promptly by a friendly hostess. Our waitress, Rachel O., was fantastic! Cheerful, helpful, personable, and our orders came out perfect. We'll be back, and we'll be asking for Rachel to be our server again!

Steaks are always the best here, fresh and they always nail the cooking temps. Good choices for drink options too and the servers are always a joy to have..

Love that this restaurant is close to home. Food is consistently good, price point is fair and the drinks are tasty. The best part was our server, John Scott. He was attentive but not overbearing, checked on us just the right amount of times, ensured our food was what we ordered and made good suggestions on selections. Each bite was a delightful experience, showcasing the high-quality beef that Saltgrass is known for. The sides were equally impressive. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy with just the right hint of garlic, adding a wonderful complement to my steak. The fresh, crisp green beans also added a refreshing touch to the meal. However, I must mention a hiccup that happened with my drink. I ordered an Old Fashioned, anticipating the classic balance of flavors that this timeless cocktail offers. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. Some key ingredients were missing, which left the drink lacking in the complexity and depth I associate with a well-crafted Old Fashioned. While it was still drinkable, it was disappointing compared to the perfection of my steak. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a rustic charm that adds to the overall dining experience. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that I was well taken care of throughout the evening. In summary, while my steak was undeniably one of the best I have had, the cocktail left something to be desired. A truly wonderful dining experience. The food was fabulous and the service was outstanding. The crab cakes and redfish were probably the best I have ever eaten.

Appetizers were hot and delicious, the games on the tv in the back area were good, and the service was impressive. John Scott made sure our table was well taken care of. He suggested appetizers and made sure our meal came out hot and correct. He was helpful and courteous.

I always go to dinner at this location on a busy Friday night and they never disappoint. Meghan is a Fabulous waitress. I visited 2 times in a week, and had her as our waitress. She was very attentive and had great customer service. She recommended us a few of her favorite items and they were all good. We will def be coming back.

Stopped in for an early dinner with a medium sized group. Seated quickly and our server, John Scott, helped us get the game we wanted to watch on the tv. His service was on point and he made sure we were well taken care of and left happy. He kept our drinks full and was friendly and helpful.

Been to this location a couple of times and have enjoyed my experience both visits. The food is delicious, service was timely and friendly and a pretty chill atmosphere. You know what to expect with Saltgrass, and that's just fine.

We had such an enjoyable Girls Night out for drinks and appetizers. She dealt with our shenanigans and never made us feel like a bother or over the top!

Saltgrass is great local restaurant in Katy. The service is outstanding and they have live music on the patio on the weekends. Melanie was our server and was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided outstanding service. I highly recommend Saltgrass.

Have been going to this place for the last 4 months. Is our must go restaurant. The attention is top notch and the food always came out perfect. We have enjoyed sitting out side during the summer with they big fans and it is really comfortable even with the Texas hot weather. Once we went wit ha big group and the food came out fast and perfect never experience a bad dinner or lunch. Will definitely recommend it.

We were served by Melanie. It was a good service and she did a fantastic job. Although the staff were a bit streatched on this evening, we had a good time nonetheless. Oh, the country music life band was the icing on the cake. He is so good and I think he should be on America Got Talent show.

Saltgrass Steak House has always been a favorite for a great steak dinner, but their happy hour is a game-changer! It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The happy hour menu is fantastic, and we especially love the Beef Bites—they're incredibly tender and flavorful. The Crab Cake is another standout; it's so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The drinks are great, the prices are even better, and the service is always top-notch. It's a fantastic value and a great way to enjoy some of their best appetizers in a more relaxed setting. We can't recommend it enough!

Had a great experience at the bar tonight ! our bartender was fantastic-super fast with the drinks and really friendly. she made us feel right at home while we waited for our table. definetly ask for Ariana if you are sitting at the bar. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the managers, his name was Manni. will def come back again !

We stopped in for my birthday, we've been here before and have always received great service and food! Chris was our waiter tonight. Absolutely top notch and phenomenal! He caught our conversation about my wife being gluten free, offered us gluten free bread which we didn't even know they had and the gluten free menu. He made us laugh and joked back and forth with me, exceptional all across the board!

My visit to saltgrass was excellent from start to finish. The staff graded as warmly, and our server provided outstanding service. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and quick to accommodate special request. The steak was cooked perfectly. h highly recommended for anyone looking for consistently great food and top-notch service.

I went with my mom today during lunch and had an amazing experience! Jazmine was our server and she was so fun and engaging! I will also say both my mother and I had complicated orders and she was on top of it the whole time! Food is just as good too. I had the grilled salmon (you have to add the Oscar topping it is amazing) and my mom got the glazed pork chops. I can confidently say that we both recommend!

The food was pretty good and so was the service. My Bloody Mary was delicious! The only downside was the hostess telling me if we sat outside, we can request our waitress to turn the heaters on. It was super cold that day and when I got to the table the waitress said they weren't able to turn them on and didn't know why the hostess told us that. The meal is much less enjoyable when you're freezing cold.

Their steak salad is one of my favorites. Meat is always cooked to perfection, and everything else just works well together (beans, potatoes, egg, balsamic vinaigrette) I do replace the blue cheese with feta just because I hate blue cheese. My husband ordered the steak and loaded potatoe and he liked it, meat was juicy and flavorful. Staff is all friendly and professional. It does get crowded for dinner (6ish) so expect a wait.

FIRST TIME HERE AND UPON ARRIVING OUR TABLE WAS READY. HELEN WAS AMAZING WITH SERVICE AND VERY ATTENTIVE. THE CESAR SALAD WITH GRILLED CHICKEN & POTATO SOUP ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE SOUP WAS NOT HOT AT ALL FOR THE ENTIRE TABLE. OTHER THAN THAT ALL WAS WELL.

Atmosphere here is lovely. Our server was excellent. Unfortunately most of our food was served room temp (2 M/R ribeye and an Oscar Filet) and an entire meal was missed only to be served as the rest of the table had finished. We found an "additional ingredient" in our food and the response was: "Our kitchen staff is bald." The manager never came to our table. 🤷🤷🤷 How do you come back from that??? For the price and ambiance I presumed we'd have a better experience.

Hostess in front that was training on Sun Feb 1st long dark hair was not the one to be training. She wasn't friendly and completely forgot to seat me as I stood 2 feet from her for about 10-12 min before I asked again to be seated. Thankfully I was seated in Meghan's section and she was truly remarkable. Super sweet and very kind and more than made up for the hostess. Thank you Meghan!!food was as expected. Very good

I've been several times and it's only okay. Honestly if it wasn't at a central location for my folks, I wouldn't have gone back. The issue is consistency. One day the chicken breast will be great, the next day dry and tough. Some servers are very attentive, some seem lost.

Food is really good. Almost, but not quite, great, with touches of greatness interspersed with whimsical weirdness. Steaks are good but anything done mere then medium-rare is shoe leather tough. Dinner salad is always fresh, but apparently comes without tomatoes as part of some sort of horrific austerity program. Fried shrimp spiced unbelievably perfect with batter so light you are afraid it will float away, is the best thing on the menu- at a steak place! Saltgrass is always a welcome adventure.

I really enjoy this location...the management is always wonderful. I do miss the live music nights with Keith Smith, though. My friends and I haven’t been coming by as often since he’s no longer performing here. It would be great to have him back!

Got a to go order and added two drinks once I arrived for pick up. My drink was 10 something and came in a sealed baggy. When getting home to enjoy it was definitely less than a fair portion. I'll post a pic so you can see.

Had my dinner for my daughter’s birthday and the worst steak in a while. Ordered the bone in ribeye and it tasted like it was over marinated or over tenderized. Terrible texture and consistency. Crab cake appetizer was good and my wife’s 16oz ribeye was good but mine was terrible.

I ordered the steak and ribs and was shocked when it came out. The steak had this weird color that didn’t look natural, it was thin and the person I was with immediately said it looked fake! I was thinking the same thing before she said it and the ribs were insanely burnt, tasted definitely better than the steak. Shocked to say the least. My espresso martini didn’t taste good at all and the person I was with hardly drank it, it’s usually our favorite but it tasted like old coffee. Service was excellent though!

We ordered 2 steak salads. The steak salad is especially good because it has green beans and new potatoes in it. For some reason, when I order it to go, they don’t feel compelled to give me these ingredients. Terrible customer service, consistently disappointing. Some day we’ll have good restaurants here. I’ll drive to Anthonie’s in the future. Their food is consistently great!

Me and my husband order saltgrass online. This is what we got we asked for medium and for rare and cold. Paid $80 for this meal. Then on top of it, me and my husband are both sick!!!!!!!!!!! Both me and my husband go all the time to the Katy salt grass and it amazing. Will never order from Here again !

Zero stars. Asked for more bread and was told there’s a 2 bread limit for a party of 4. After that it’s $2.99….Really? A limit on bread? Who does that? Then my food was delivered cold. I will NEVER step foot in a Saltgrass ever again after 30 years.

We came here with a party of 18. It took almost 40 minutes just to get our orders in. The food came out in a reasonable time and was just ok, but the service was by far the worst part of the night. Our two servers were unhelpful the entire time, drinks sat with melted ice and nobody ever came by to offer refills or check on us. Checkout was a complete disaster. Even though we were only splitting the bill into 4 groups, it still took about 40 minutes of confusion, back and forth, and zero guidance from the manager. We actually had to step in ourselves and tell them how to split it up. The manager was no help and the staff looked lost the entire time. It’s disappointing, because while the food was ok, the service and management were so bad that we won’t be coming back. If you have a large party, avoid this location, you’ll be charged a mandatory 18% gratuity regardless of how poorly you’re treated.

I had ordered the mac and cheese and it was served in a cast iron bowl/plate. The cast iron was cold and I tried my mac and cheese and was cold and gummy. I let my waitress know and asked to reheat it. She was so apologetic and brought it to the back. Not even a minute later I get another mac and cheese. I go to gently touch the cast iron… cold again. Went to try my mac and cheese again it was cold and gummy again. The waitress apologized again and offered to grab another side, I got asparagus it was pretty good. Watch out for the mac and cheese. Anyways my waitress was super kind and did a great job and the steak bites were good too.

Chris did not do well. No bread brought to the table after saying he was going to. We ordered prime rib and instead of him checking the kitchen to see if they still had it, it was after 10 minutes he came back to us and said they had ran out. Changed the order and 40 minutes later the correct food was brought. Very frustrated as this place is usually better.

The smell of old grease on old carpets was not pleasant on entry. We sat outside. The waitress asked if everything was "perfect" with us today. She took our orders, confused the menu, asked if everything was perfect. She checked on us, asked if it was perfect. It was OK. She took our plates, asked if everything was perfect. She charged us the wrong price for an entree, wrongly insisted it was correct ... then asked if everything was perfect. ""Perfect" is a strong word", I said. Turns out, this manipulation is dictated by management. Manipulation? Yes! The servers are required to plant the word in order to elicit affirmation from the guest. Sleazy old sales trick. Once the mark says it's "perfect", the hood is sunk, and there is a real psychic cost to denying it in spite of the evidence. This approach to service is far worse than the mediocre food.
