I had the catch of the day with shrimp and rice, the food and service was fantastic. This is a covered, open air place and the breeze flowing through with the ocean below us really added to the experience. We took a walk to the end of the pier after dinner (which was free with dining purchase) and it was great!

Middle of June and no ac needed…wonderful breeze made Jimmy’s very comfortable. My wife had the shrimp tacos and I had the Coastal Fish Feature. This meal was absolutely amazing. Best seafood I’ve ever had in Galveston. Vicki was an excellent waitress. Great value, great views and amazing food.

We love this place. Great way to feel like you're on vacation. It is open air so you feel the ocean breeze. Great 270 degree view of the ocean. Nice selection of food options including fresh fish. I had the boiled shrimp and those were nicely seasoned. It came with a cole slaw that had very little mayonnaise/sauce so it was really healthy which I appreciated. They also have a bunless burger on the menu which I also appreciated. So there are plenty of healthy options. On the other hand we felt that the fried oysters had too much batter. The server was very nice, only issue was that he could have checked on us more. For example there was nothing to put my shrimp shells in so I had to put them on a napkin because he didn't come by to check on us. Plus you can fish off the pier (for a fee), and enjoy the gift shop. All in all an awesome place to go before or after a beach day.

We loved everything. We're here on the 2-day break just to get away. I had the red drum and my husband had the chicken nachos. The red drum was amazing I loved it pineapple salsa was off the hook. However, those nachos were completely out of sight! Maybe it's the beer cheese. I don't know. They were super amazing and I would come back again just for those! They got a little soggy in the middle but it didn't really matter because we just scooped it up to the fork. It was that delicious

We enjoyed our visit here. There was a 35 minute wait for a table at 3:30pm on a Tuesday during spring break, so that was to be expected. However, the hostess gave us bracelets to walk the pier while we waited on our table. There were quite a few people fishing on the pier. When you first walk up, you enter into a gift shop, which is where you would pay to fish off the pier ($5). To eat at the restaurant, you go to the left side of the entrance that has stairs, where you walk up to open-deck seating upstairs. Great views, nice, quaint atmosphere, and the food was good. We had great service - never went without a drink - big plus for me! Two people from our party of 6 ordered the burgers, which looked delicious. One person ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp (pictured below), one had the grill chicken salad - huge portion, by the way, and the rest of us had the shrimp and beef fajita tacos. The onion rings were really good, too. I would recommend this place for someone wanting to get an authentic restaurant experience on the beach, in a relaxed environment!

Only criticism would be we wished the waitress would have come back to the table after bringing the food. We only had one drink each due to not being able to order more. No worries though!

This was the PERFECT place to enjoy a nice weekday lunch with the family. We scored a seat at the rail and had a beautiful view and stayed in the shade! I've eaten at all the restaurants on the beach-side of the seawall and this one has the best ocean view by far! The service was awesome and the staff was very pleasant and down to earth. The food was great. We had the crab balls and fish tacos, the kids ate chicken strips and hot dog. The crab balls were really creamy and had lots of crab meat! Only wish there were more. The fish tacos were delicious- fried and blackened. The french fries were GREAT! I assume the hit dig was good bc my child ate it all, and I thought the chicken strips were good, but my 5 yr old wanted nuggets instead- go figure. After we ate we had some delicious ice cream from the shop and walked out onto the pier (free with meal) and got to watch a guy reel in a 3 ft Redfish.

Jimmy's is the place to be if you want to grab a drink and a quick bite, relax, hang out with friends and family, watch the ebb and flow of the waves, or watch people fish. I came here with my husband and friends on Saturday evening and it wasn't too crowded. Parking wasn't too bad either. I ordered the Gulf Shrimp Dinner and my husband ordered the fish tacos and both dishes were delicious. We also got the fried pickles but I forgot to take a picture. It was fantastic! The drinks were reasonably priced as well. We've been here a few times before but this is the first time I wrote a full review. We like Jimmy's and would recommend it!

I took an out of town guest here and we both loved it. The fried oysters were my favorite. The bloody mary was ok...nothing special. The gumbo was yummy. The only thing we didn't care for was the mojito. It was clean and our waiter/waiter in training did a good job. I found the prices to be very reasonable especially for the location.

What a beautiful place overlooking the water and the fishing pier. Was craving a cheeseburger and with an added egg and avocado, this did not disappoint. They cooked the egg somehow that made it especially buttery greasy and bursting with flavor! The fries also had a batter taste to them, but it was good! Would have gone well with malt vinegar! They were the kind of fries that are good even when they are cold! The pina colada was less on the sweet side and didn't taste very strong, but it was ok. There was a hint of shrimp flavor, but it must be from cooking on the same grill? They were packed so things were a bit slow, but it is a holiday weekend. The waiters seemed to have that slick bar pick up feel 😆. Very personable and attentive, but i noticed that they all had that same composure. Very smooth but very hard working! Excellent staff, good job tonight guys!

If you are looking for a great place to sir over the water, smell the beautiful salt air, watch the shoreline, be mesmerized by the pelicans and the seagulls, this is your place. The best part is the food they prepare for you to eat. Sit back and have an appetizer, or a great cocktail, or one of their many Galveston Island Brewery brilliantly crafted cold beers. The sunsets from the inside bar, seating areas inside or outside, are phenomenal. Many friendly faces behind the bar, and the servers are eager to help you and give off a warm welcome.

We came on Tuesday evening and it wasn’t crowded. Our servers were friendly and helpful and the burger was great!

The food was so yummy! We had a group of 16 and the service was excellent!! Our waiter was super friendly and so personable. Even though we had a large group the food came out in a timely manner and the portions were big. All of the employees were smiling and friendly. Such a good atmosphere to be in. Highly recommend!! I had the burger 🍔 SO good.

I had a real great time. The place was super busy and the poor staff seemed to be really stretched thin. I sat at the bar with great views of the beach and the breeze blowing and the seabirds swirling. Just a real cool place to sit and eat really. The food was very good and wow did I get more than I thought I was going to. The bartender changed a few things around on the dish to make it be what I wanted which I really appreciated. Really good place, very hard working staff. Much appreciated!

We had there tuna tartar was absolutely amazing and I am not a raw fish person. Flavor was so good. Our waiter Alex was very nice served us quickly and with a smile. The view was breathtaking. Will definitely be back on our next visit.

We went to Jimmy's at around 2pm for a late lunch. Luckily there were a lot of free space and we picked a table with nice sea view. Not only that we could see the tides at the best spot, but also we could see a couple of surfers. Another interesting thing about this restaurant is that they have some birds walking around, keenly waiting for any food you will give them. We ordered Gulf Shrimp and Jimmy's Burger. Both were satisfying. The foods were freshly cooked and served hot. Shrimps were juicy with crispy shell. The French fries coming with the burger is also nicely done. It was a windy day so we had to finish the food fast before it got cold. But with the amazing view, that's well worth it. The service is attentive without any overdoing. Recommended!

Visited on 10/18/25 and sat at the bar. Beth was the bartender and she is wonderful. Her drinks are delicious. We tried a variety of drinks and it’s hard to find a good bartender. She is a keeper. Food was good as well! We had a dirty martini, Paloma, salty dog, pier firecrackers and shrimp cocktail. All delicious

Great food! Waitress was friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced which was wonderful for the area. Location is great plus they use eco friendly straws for being on the water. Definitely will be going back. We went back the next night, food was wonderful

I wasn't expecting much from this place, but I was blown away. The food is absolutely delicious and the drinks are not weak. Jimmy's on the Pier is actually within walking distance of some of the hotels which made it first choice. I only regret not coming here sooner. Just a side note: you will have feathered friends visit you in the restaurant. It was absolutely not an issue for us.

A bit chaotic, but well worth the wait! Great views over the ocean. Excellent breeze flowing through this open air pier restaurant. Fish dinner was fantastic. Great flavor, perfectlyrics cooked! Good place to enjoy the sunset and free access to the pier with drinks and/or food.

This is the first time we come to this restaurant, and we are very satisfied. I want to increase that word satisfied by ten and call it extremely happy. The meal was so good and the service was so perfect. I'm coming back and i'm gonna bring on my friends with me next time. Ask for Carlos. He did a great job. With a great attitude, everyone had great service and great attitudes. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

The best thing about me living in Galveston is eating at the many different restaurants with a nice, beautiful atmosphere. Services were great and if you’re a social drinker try the “Mai Tai” drink sometimes I like to act like a tourist lol but this is my 6th time visiting this location.

I'm from Wimberley, Texas and my partner is from Chicago. We met in Galveston for the Ghost Festival and stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street. We walked over to Jimmy's on the Pier because the guy at the front desk recommended it. When we walked in we noticed that the first floor is a gift shop with the usual T-Shirts and Hoodies along with other tourist souvenirs. We walked upstairs to the restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful. Just enough breeze to keep you cool, which is needed because it's an open air restaurant. They seem to use the same sauce on, at least the food we ordered, most of their food. It's a little spicy. OK if you're a Texan. The service was wonderful and we were told we could walk out on the pier for free with our receipt. Pro tip ..;)

Visited Galveston for one day before a cruise and decided to eat here after not being too happy with another place we'd gone to. Here at Jimmy's, the service was very good, the food affordable and delicious! On top of that a fantastic view of the sea!!! I had the ceviche while my husband had the shrimp tacos, both very good!

Jimmy's has the best seafood for the price in Galveston. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection. The fish was flaky, moist and tender. The breading was just the just right amount, not too heavy not to light. It just enough to hold the cod filet together and dip in the sauce. The entire staff was very attentive and polite. Last, but not least, the view was spectacular!

Friday evening at dinner we were greeted immediately and sat immediately. The place was not crazy busy but there were plenty of people that we didn't feel alone. It took a moment for our server to get to us but once he did he was very attentive not having to wait long for more water or drinks. The view of the ocean and being right over the pier was excellent. Crispy calamari was mostly crispy but a cluster was bunched together and the inside was a bit mooshy. It was still tasty with the tomato jam. Classic fried shrimp was classic but the fries were the star of the dish. The Pier special was amazing. Fish of the day was flounder, flaky and cooked perfectly. The sauce seemed like a curry base and tasted delicious. Maybe could have used some heat but that's just my preference.

The total highlight of our Galveston trip! Seriously, we can't recommend Jimmy's more. The food was phenomenal and very well priced for Galveston! The kids meals are all 10 bucks and each entree was between 15 and 20 that we looked at ordering. The flounder was tender and juicy, and we all left extremely satisfied! I definitely recommend the fish tacos. They are doubled cased in tortillas to preserve the sauce and flavorful. The Texas Fish and Chips was also delicious (a lot of fried on top of fried, but that is what I ordered so that's on me). They were out of waffle fries which was very disappointing, but the onion rings were honestly a great substitute! Double the onion in each ring and very well battered. The seating is perfect - covered from the sun, but with tons of windows and doors to let the cool ocean breeze blow in as you enjoy your meal. Amazing! Plus, the opportunity to walk the pier for free after made it even better! We got our Christmas Card photo on the pier! Seriously, make this place a PRIORITY when visiting Galveston! We will be back next family vacation!!

Oh, we just loved their happy hour specials! Good margaritas, even better on the rocks and I think I could eat their tuna tartar just about everyday! Very delicious and a great value, and our favorite restaurant in Galveston, what a great find and reccomendation to us by the Galveston beach hotel! The fish and chips were also a hit!

I'm from out of town, and always visit Jimmy's when I am in Galveston. I can't find any fault with this place at all. There are a few things to consider before choosing it though. If you are mobility challenged, the restaurant is on the second story, and it's a pretty challenging set of stairs. However, once you get up there, you are over the water, with an amazing sea breeze, and it's just an instant stress reliever. I would say there are about 20 tables under the roof (but with no doors or windows, you still feel that amazing breeze) so that you are out of the sun, or you can sit on the deck with no cover overhead, but it can be hot with the sun beating down on you. I have eaten on the deck at night and it was just magical. If you have long hair, I would bring something to tie it back with, or you will be struggling to eat on windy days. The food is pretty amazing - a good selection of seafood AND non seafood - it's all quality ingredients, with thought put into the recipes. AND I have never found an unhappy member of staff there - they are all very friendly and helpful. Love this place!

The atmosphere here is amazing, especially if you catch a nice ocean breeze while sitting out on the patio. The staff was very friendly and professional, and the food and drinks were solid. Be prepared for a wait during peak hours (sometimes 45 minutes to an hour), but they make it worth it by giving guests free access to the fishing pier while waiting. It was a perfect way to pass the time, and they’ll text you as soon as your table is ready.

We’ve eaten here a number of times. The place inside and out was decorated nicely for Christmas. They put a lot of work into it and it was enjoyable being there. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. One thing I really liked seeing, since it was a little slow two workers grabbed cloths and cleaner and started cleaning the wall below the bar. I was impressed, I couldn’t even see dirt from the table 10’ away. As always, the food is good, reasonable and cooked just right. My wife was very impressed with the wine pour as well as me with my low tide drafts from Galveston Brewery.

My pictures are not my best, but we had the calamari, ceviche, pretzels bites for an appetizer. Fried shrimp and the Texas fish and chips for the entree. It was simply amazing!!! Zero complaints on the food! Servers could have been more attentive, but could have been an off day. Regardless it’s going to be a spot we frequent when in town!

We were staying just down the street and thought it would be fun to try Jimmys. Unique local eateries where you get a feel for the community. Being on the pier, you are as close to the water as you can be. They had a nice selection local craft beers. I tried the Hazy which was quite good, the Margherita was a little heavy on the Tequila, so it was a bit overpowering. For food, the Pier Special is a winner! The Filet, which I found out was flounder, was expertly seasoned. The cajun sauce brings a balanced heat. The chicken sandwich we'd ordered the adders on the side. It came out plain, and had to ask for some lettuce and sauce. It was a decent size piece of chicken and tasted fine. Our server was hometown friendly, with even a handshake before we left. (A nice touch) Prices were certainly fair for a tourist type area. You'll enjoy stopping by here.

Came here for lunch, friendly staff. Family friendly, fast service. unfortunately they had run out of bacon wrapped shrimp... we ordered the fried pickles, and the crab rolls A+ for both of them. The New England clam chowder was excellent and so was the fried shrimp!! Worth making a stop!

Food is delicious - i get the boiled shrimp (peel n eat) on the Happy Hour menu. Southwest Shrimp Salad is excellent. We've also had chicken nachos. I tried the mango margarita (frozen) n it was really good. View is great, easy walk from the trolley stop at 81st and several vrbo n hotels. Service can be a little slow, but that doesn't really matter much to me. Indoor and outdoor seating available, lots of stairs.

As a former Islander I have dined at this establishment many times over the years. I have been there when it wasn't that good, then it got better and I'm afraid it may be on a downward trajectory again. The calamari was slightly undercooked and underseasoned, it was marketed with a "sweet and spicy" sauce. The sauce was extremely underwhelming. We ordered the seafood baskets, the flounder and the snapper. The fish and shrimp were overcooked and once again lacked any seasoning and was very bland. I do love the views and overall aesthetic of the location. Service is always prompt and friendly. But won't be returning anytime soon due to the food quality.

The view here is great, the staff is wonderful, and the food... I have to be honest and say I was pleasantly surprised when I came here and saw vegan options! I had the black bean burger and it was absolutely great! They also had a vegan appetizer which made me pretty happy to see these options on the menu. When your done, take a stroll on the pier! You get a free pass when you eat here! I will definitely keep this restaurant in mind when I am back in Galveston!

The day we were there it was windy, so we had to eat inside, they did open up several windows to get a nice sea breeze inside. Food was tasty. Had ceviche and bread less burger with fries.

Daughter and I went here for dinner. We had no wait but they got busy quickly. Food was really good. I had the grilled shrimp tacos. Shrimp had the gulf shrimp which included a bed of rice and grilled veggies.

We tried this place for the view and it didn't disappoint. The nachos were tasty and huge! The burgers are good, too. I ordered the gumbo and was literally shocked it was so good. I'm Cajun so I know gumbo. I'd recommend that and the clam chowder in bread bowl. We were surprised the food was as good as it was as you wouldn't expect a fishing pier to serve decent food. The view is the best to watch a sunset and have some beers. I managed to climb those mile high steps with a bad knee, but they were steep. However, they do have one single table at the bottom on pier level for those who can't climb the long stairway. The staff and waiters were very friendly, too. I would love to go back if they had a handicap ramp like Tipsy Turtle.

To get to the restaurant, you have to go up a long flight of stairs. It was tricky for a grandma with a bad knee but we made it. Once there, I asked if it was all outdoor seating and the guy seating us seemed rather annoyed and said yes we would have to deal with the weather and the birds. We had a party of 6 and asked about putting 2 high tables overlooking the water together but he didn't want to because he didn't know how busy it was going to get. Spoiler alert: on a Tues afternoon it didn't get busy. The waiter was a little slow moving but not unfriendly. He refilled drinks before asked. So I'd say the service was pretty good. The food was the reason I'd go back. I had the Gulf shrimp with rice, veggies and a garlic aioli. It was really good. I heard the the gumbo and chicken sandwich were good and the burgers were really good. You can walk on the pier with your receipt. I wouldn't recommend going when it's 90 and feels like 105 like we did. But I would go back at a nicer time of year.

Great location and view. Server tried hard and did well knowing two of the four weren’t at work. Food had a good flavor and portions were large. Nice selection of food and drinks. Nicely decorated seating area and very comfortable with the breeze flowing through.

Fast service, but food lacks a bit, especially for the cost. Fries had NO flavor (how can you mess up fries 🤷‍♀️), burgers were just ok. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp and the Cesar salad with blackened shrimp though!!!! Cool vibes to the place, too. Would be awesome if food was better!!!!

This is my favorite restaurant in Galveston! The restaurant is uniquely located on the second floor of the pier, offering a fantastic view. The food is also great, and the prices are very reasonable.
We ordered the Coastal Fish Feature, Fish Finger, Classic Fried Oysters, and Jimmy's Burger, and the total was less than $80 before tip.
Our favorite was the Coastal Fish Feature because it comes with vegetables and is non-fried. Next, we liked the Fish Finger, and after that, the Jimmy's Burger.
Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the amazing atmosphere! 🌊🍽️

Cool place. Best location. Great service. Nice people. The food was meh. They had a decent looking bar so maybe it’s more of a happy hour place.

Fantastic views and great food. We loved taking a walk on the pier while waiting for our table which didn’t take long at all. The ahi tuna and shrimp tostadas were delicious and the fish tacos were fresh and flavorful. Enjoyable experience all around. A great option if you’re looking for a fun spot to take in views of the water.

Celene was great! She was super friendly, outgoing and her drinks where phenomenal! The only thing was the elevator music. Some house music would give more beach vibes but of course that’s out of her control. Service was definitely amazing.

We waited over an hour for a table. The dining area is small, much smaller than you would expect. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and when asked for a recommendation he knew exactly where to point us. Our food came quickly and it was fresh and hot. All of the items we ordered were good, no regrets. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was delicious, the chicken sandwich was great, and the shrimp and oyster po boy was pretty good. No complaints here at all!

Went on a decent weather day and it was all open air seating. We chose to sit at the railing for the sunset view. It did not disappoint! The food and drinks were good but nothing special in my opinion. I do not recommend the nachos. Definitely get the fried pickles 😋

The Armando burger is really tasty. The atmosphere wasn't the best but the burger was tasty enough for me to go back.

Food was really good, the ceviche was great, nice selection of fish, and the pesto grilled chicken was very good. The gumbo had a unique smokey flavor that probably came from the sausage, but it was very good considering. The long island ice tea was okay, but the top shelf Margarita was bland at best, it tasted watered down hardly any flavor from tequila or the other ingredients. I kept having to get the wait staff's attention which isn't normal for JOTP, and considering they weren't very busy. The atmosphere was great though since we were celebrating a special occasion, and you can't beat the location.

Super nice waiters, didn't have to wait long for our food. ABSOLUTELY loved the food, for the amount of food I received was well worth the money. Also just fyi the chocolate cake comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top is $10. Would definitely recommend and come again 🥰

The food was decent, alot of the plates looked good. I was very disappointed in how slow the service was. Watching other tables get seated after you but nearly finish their meal before you can get an appetizer delivered is ridiculous. Just unbelievable im still mad about the whole thing.

Our food was okay. A bit expensive. The service was great! Our server was super friendly. Our food came out to us quickly. The view was amazing! The dining room got super loud and it was hard to carry on a conversation. It was more of a bar feel. The bouncer / host guy to get into the place - not so much. He was so rude to me that we almost left before getting a table. I'm glad we didn't leave because the rest of the staff was much nicer.

This was a great food experience, but the service was bad. We sat down, and it took someone like 15 minutes before they came to ask for our drinks. I would have understood if it was busy, but there were only 4 tables with people. Waitress was also not writing anything down anything that we ordered and kept coming back and asking again what we ordered, and even then, she still got one order wrong and our drinks wrong, too, so service was bad. The place was nice. It was night, and they had everything open. Fresh sea air was refreshing. The food was awesome. I did enjoy that part but can't stress that service was bad.

Not what I was expecting. The food was good. The service was OK. We both had Gulf shrimp and some in our tacos as well. Just not over-the-top good. I felt the meal was a bit pricey.

The manager made a wise call and gave us a pretty good discount at the end of the meal and apologized for what occurred. Looking at the other reviews, I'm hoping that our experience was an anomaly Food was a five star System to get seated was a one star and at times I had serious doubts as to whether or not what was happening was ethical... We came in with four adults and a couple infants and a little kid and the young man at the door. Put it down at seven. After an hour of waiting we found out they said they don't actually have for 7... Would have been nice to know up front because over the radio, after waiting for over an hour we heard the person upstairs saying whenever I can get two tables beside each other I can help the group of seven... That's when I got the manager and explained what was happening and that actually we only had four adults and could do a workaround very easily because we were very flexible I had gone upstairs numerous times to see tables empty for 20 and 30 minutes but to be fair one would be over here and the other would be 15 ft away. Still questionable though.. After we were seated I took pictures of three different tables that I'll post here that were empty for 20 minutes so still scratching my head but anyway... It was an outstanding meal. The food was excellent. The burger that we had that may have been one of the best burgers I've ever eaten.. the waiter was awesome. It's just very unfortunate that this occurred... I also asked prairie candidly if they were just short-handed so they weren't seating every one of the tables that they had and they said no that they had plenty of people... I was trying to give them a little bit of an out and to understand why they weren't seeding the tables... One of the things they explained was that people could go out to the pier and may not respond to being called back to their seating... However, if that is all that is happening and someone is 20-30 minutes away from their seating, that seems to be something that needs to change ASAP... Just tell people they're welcome to walk along the pier, but when their name is called they need to be back to the restaurant within five minutes... So don't go too far away... Seems easy enough to solve, although like I said I still have questions as to what was really happening... Several families that came in off the street that were our size went in before us as well and at one point I asked how that was happening and the young man at the door said there's no Spanish number for them. I did not fully understand what he was trying to communicate but I watched that family come in off the street and they straight up told us there was no way to make reservations. Something was definitely fishy... Why did I take the time to write all this 1. Seemed like a great restaurant and I hope the management takes this seriously and thinks about the way they do seating because we were 100% one star review before we even got there and even discussed whether or not they'd be able to dig themselves out of the deep deep deep one star hole that they had dug. Manager's apology and discount. Definitely helped.. Two. If they decide not to change anything hopefully people with little kids won't be in the same situation with hungry little ones waiting for over an hour to find out. They don't actually have a place for you to sit tons of empty tables continuously during the hour you're waiting... Seemed like a nice young man at the door but very inarticulate and unsure of himself and it came across as though he knew what was happening but did not want to explain. Food was great to me, but my husband felt very ill after he ate here. Basically it was coming out both ends. We think it was the ketchup because when he opened it the bottle it squirted whiteish liquid on his plate. We had their beer battered fish, and fried fish with fries along with the shrimp gumbo. Everything tasted wonderful to me, but the atmosphere felt muggy and humid.

It was a little chilly outside so they had the doors and windows shut, but didn't kickoff the birds which was very annoying. The food was mediocre at best. The tables did not feel very clean. Not a great experience, just OKAY.

Was quit a let down. Food didn't have any flavor. Prices seemed alittle high. Our drinks didn't taste right either. We sat next to a window that looked like it hadn't been washed in ages. I get that your business is on the ocean but then u should put extra effort in to keep up with window cleaning. See photos attached. On the good note, we had a very kind and happy waiter.

Very poor customer service . We were there on a Saturday night and it was kinda windy we did check in downstairs without knowing that seating is available only outside. We get upstairs to find out that our table is outside. I asked for a table inside and was told that I have to go to the back of the line because I didn’t want the table outside. I tried to explain that it is not right what that person is doing and the response was I am giving you a table but you refuse to take it. Went here for a friend's birthday. Big mistake.. 2 of the 3 orders were wrong. They corrected it but we didn't get to eat together so that sucked. Birthday Boy got the southwest chicken sandwich & was brought the southwest chicken salad even though he literally pointed to the sandwich on the menu which is on a completely different page. Make that make sense... I got the Armando burger and wish I hadn't... It barely had any veggies on it & they left off the avocado & sauces- Chipotle & garlic aoli I think? It was mega dry and I've had better burgers at Burger King so... The waiter, Alfredo I believe?, was 100% innatentive so 1 drink refill and hardly checked on us before & after our food was delivered... When he did prepare to wait so long you think he forgot whatever u asked for... The chicken & beef are sub par so if you go stick to the seafood although I'm starting to wonder if that's even fresh caught. In a nutshell the food and service are sub par & the prices are sky high. 2 of us were sick afterwards as well so... eat at your own risk... there are MUCH better places literally all over galveston with MUCH better food & service. Katie's by the cruise docks is where I wish we would've gone... haven't eaten there yet but you can smell the difference in quality food and there service is 2nd to none... DO NOT EAT HERE. DRINKS ONLY. Food looks good but either has no taste or just tastes bad. Would give zero stars if not for the fact the margarita was actually pretty decent. Pina colada had to be sent back for more flavor also and didn’t seem like it contained much alcohol. Being next the water is nice but I definitely will never come back here to eat. This is a drinks only place, and frankly I’d be happier with a cooler of beers on the beach. Fried oysters were all batter. Nachos were made with refried black beans and tasted very odd, if not bad. The gulf shrimp platter was ok - if you must eat here order that. Friends were let down by the overpriced seafood platter. Calamari completely flavorless and sauce tasteless also.

Location was good perch on the 3rd floor overseeing the fishing pier. However it was a little windy. The layout can be designed better to manage this. Service was hit or miss. Mine was terrible but I saw another server was more proactive. Mine did not even refill water. Food was worse. Price point was high as previously mentioned however if quality of food was good it would have been fine. Calamari was the smallest I have seen and they battered it with thick flour. Flout had a weird after taste. This being said, if you are looking for a place to have a beer, this is not a bad choice.

I came in for a cup of coffee and walk on the pier on 1/19. The lady that was working at the counter told me that I had to spend minimum of $10 in order to avoid the $5 fee to check out the pier. I figured I would come back at a later time to check out the happy hour and visit the pier then. Then my friend told me that she was let out in the pier for free after purchasing her coffee because she is a customer. This kinds of service makes me want to never come back again.

Check your food when you order take out here. Ordered combo po’boy which has fried oysters and shrimps as described. I didn’t pay almost $30 bucks for some shrimps and fried catfish which wasn’t in the dish on the menu. Where are the oysters? Terrible business practice.

The service was unbelievably slow—they closed the kitchen while we were still waiting, leaving us sitting at our table for 25 minutes. They eventually agreed to take our order. The young woman who helped us was kind and actually tried, and she was the only positive part of this experience. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely disgusting. I order a Ceviche, It came out lukewarm, watery like soup, and completely inedible. The chips tasted rancid, as if they were old and reused. This was hands down the worst service and food I have ever experienced. If you’re visiting the area, do yourself a favor and do not waste your time or money here.
