My family and I finally tried BLVD Seafood, and we're so glad we did! My husband and I love fresh seafood from the gulf and BLVD delivered. Every dish was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the portions are just right, and everything tasted fresh. My favorite was the Soy Ginger Marinated Octopus, where it was cooked perfectly and not rubbery at all. I like that the menu is simple and straightforward. Even my 6-year-old enjoyed the fresh Texas shrimp and kept asking us for more. I can't remember our server's name, but he was a delight. He made us feel at ease and was very friendly and attentive. Reservations are definitely recommended because they were crowded by 7pm on a Friday evening. If you like and enjoy fresh seafood, this is the place to go.
Their coconut shrimp was the best shrimp I've ever eaten in my life - and I'm in my 70s! It was fried, but so light, fluffy and tender with just a hint of sweetness. The entree came with 12 large shrimp and a choice of two sides from a large selection. I had garlic mashed potatoes and French green beans.The price was only $24 and I was there in early January 2026. The dipping sauce was exquisite! It was a mayonnaise base with pureed mangos, cilantro, sweet Thai chili sauce, plus another Asian sauce I can't remember and lime juice. I also had a wedge salad with incredible bleu cheese dressing. It was the most flavourful wedge salad I've ever had. The service was excellent. I was there on vacation, but I would definitely drive the 5+ hours just to have that meal again! The atmosphere was very pleasant but not upscale. Finally, the wine was perfect and the bread was amazing! I highly recommend Blvd. Seafood Restaurant!
Stand alone seafood restaurant along the seawall. Restaurant and restrooms are very clean and in good order. Staff was very personable, helpful and knowledgeable. The chowder was unique and very good. The red fish and shrimp were excellent. Definitely recommend.
This place was highly recommended by our limo driver and it didn’t disappoint! My husband’s redfish was incredible. I had a wedge salad and crab cake stuffed shrimp with the most amazing garlic bread with a cream lemon butter sauce. The hibiscus margarita was delightful. Our server was sooo kind and checked on us often.

It was cooked flawlessly — tender, flaky, and infused with the subtle smoky flavor from the cedar plank. The dish was simple yet incredibly well executed, allowing the quality of the fish to truly shine. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine, adding to the welcoming charm that makes locally owned restaurants like this so special. BLVD Seafood is exactly the kind of place you hope to find in a coastal town — fresh seafood, expertly made drinks, and hospitality that makes you feel right at home.
BLVD Seafood in Galveston was such a great experience. They serve the best chilaquiles ever made — no exaggeration. The views of the Gulf were absolutely stunning, and the whole place just feels relaxing the moment you sit down. The staff was friendly, fast, and on top of everything. Great food, great service, great scenery… can’t ask for much more. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re anywhere near the island.
Great Experience. The food we ordered today was well executed from start to finish. Food taste fresh everything was delicious, great presentation. The service also was very good. Place is clean. Will be coming back!
This place will not disappoint you! I went on a Sunday afternoon after lunch rush and was welcomed with a friendly smile and the food was fresh and AMAZING! I had the 12 piece fried shrimp with 2 sides. Asparagus was really good along with the potatoes. It was fairly busy around 2 but was seated quickly. I am an out of towner and would definitely come back.
Never had anything here I haven’t enjoyed! To name a few - the wedge salad with extra balsamic to the side is wonderful, the seared tuna is so yummy, and the bloody Mary’s will definitely keep you going during brunch! We wanted to order everything we saw coming out the kitchen, so will be working our way down the menu!
Could this place be any more perfect? The food is ridiculously good, the service super friendly and casual, and the prices are quite fair. Some of the best seafood I’ve had in years.
My wife and I have to agree this is one of our favorite places to go! On the menu tonight: The crab cake was Jumbo Lump Blue Crab + Honey-Lemon Tartar + Red Bell Pepper Coulis + Avocado Spread Gumbo + Shrimp + Blue Crab + Andouille Sausage + White Rice But the SMOKED SALMON CROSTINI was one of my favorites Smoked Salmon + Crostini + Chipotle Cream Fraiche + Cilantro Oil I'll be dreaming of the cedar plant salmon - Brown Sugar Dijon Glaze + Wild Mushroom Risotto + Sautéed Asparagus
Murder Point oysters were on point! Blvd oysters were awesome. The creme Brule was great, coconut, lemon fig and tres leches!
This place is wonderful! We stayed at the Comfort Inn Galveston which is just 1 minute walk away from this restaurant. Smiley staff welcomed us as we entered and our waiter was a very friendly and knowledgeable person. They had a Christmas holiday cocktail menu and I tried the White chocolate pistachio martini with house made pistachio cream which was awesome. Our food came fast, fresh and well presented… and the taste was absolutely superb!!! I will talk about this seafood experience for a long time! Highly recommend this place!

One of the best restaurants on Galveston Island. The atmosphere, food quality, and service are all top notch. I appreciate them offering a free entree for veterans on Veteran's Day. I had the Cowboy Rib Eye Steak with Potatoes Au Gratin and Mushroom Risotto as sides. It was delicious. Autumn my server provided wonderful service and was constantly checking up. I am impressed with the team and plan on stopping by more frequently.
First time dining here with my sister for her birthday celebration - we were greeted by the host staff immediately and our waitress, Autumn, was absolutely AMAZING! She was super attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and specials going on, and checked in on us throughout our meal. The food was phenomenal, we ordered the BLVD and Rockefeller oysters; 10/10 would recommend! I would 100% come back here for the food, and of course the incredible service provided by Autumn!
Finally made it to BLVD after all these years! Why didn't we come sooner!!! The food and service were amazing! The Jobber is one of the best gumbos I've had. Kids were obsessed with the pancakes and chicken&waffles. As you can tell from the photos, barely got a photo of the dishes before the fam scarfed it down.

Honestly this place is the hidden gem of Galveston! Found out about it through word of mouth from locals and let me tell you it did not disappoint. It is very unassuming from the outside, but inside it is a cute little seafood restaurant. We sat at the bar top and it was an amazing experience. From the time we walked in to the time we left the service was impeccable. I’m convinced there isn’t a bad thing you could order at this establishment. The chef is amazing and the staff recommended excellent food and drinks. This is the BEST restaurant in Galveston and it is a must try for any one in town. Could not say anything bad about this place. 10/10 recommend!
What a great little place. They greeted us warmly when we arrived. Crispy calamari. Excellent shrimp and grits. Broccolini was cooked perfectly. We topped it all off with the bread pudding.. which I highly recommend. And did I mention that the Service was top notch. Thank you for a very nice dinner with my wife.
Busy place. Definitely make reservations. Great service. Casual atmosphere. Drinks and food were great and came out fast. If you're looking for great food and drink with a laid back but classy feel, this is the place for you.
This place was a hidden gem! Mike took care of us on our anniversary/ birthday give away and just exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh, hot and so delicious. We asked him for recommendations on a wine and he nailed it. We will absolutely be back when we visit Galveston again! Thank you so much!
My boyfriend and I had a date night there last night. EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious! We sat at the bar with Yvonne! She was so attentive & made the best espresso martinis. The manager Kevin was very nice & super helpful when it came to menu suggestions. I 10/10 would recommend eating here. We had the escargot, Scallops, red fish, & finished with banana bread pudding. It was all cooked to perfection!
This place is in an old 7-Eleven gas station. It's been for about 10 years. Never tried it before. The prices are about what you expect is pay for good seafood in Galveston. The food was actually good. We enjoyed everything we tried. They call it gumbo, but it was very thick. It was still delicious however. It was very thick like a piquant though. The redfish was pretty good. The shrimp were well seasoned. Glad we came here, I will be back.

Been to several of the Seawall restaurants in Galveston. This was one of the better ones by far. The grouper and red fish were amazing. The Quail Kisses were terrible. The salads were great and fresh. We enjoyed the cocktails. Service was good and we didn't wait long for our food. It is pretty loud inside. We'd eat here again. Definitely need to make reservations.
This isn't cheap lunch, but the food is impressive. Parking can be tough. Service was efficient, polite and courteous. My plate was not as plentiful as others of the same I watched get served.
