I don't consider myself a coffee snob by any means, but I definitely can tell the difference between a mid cup of coffee and an exceptional one. Redlight Coffee was the best coffee I've found while on trip here. House-made syrups and they roast their own beans in house. The espresso has notes of caramel and chocolate and is extremely smooth. I came three times during our short stay and even bought some of their beans home with me. The shaken espresso with sweet cream was amazing! I added two extra shots the second time I ordered it as I prefer very coffee-forward drinks, but it was still perfectly balanced. The flat white and Spicy Mocha were also wonderful. Highly recommend! Extremely chill atmosphere and kind staff.

Top tier specialty coffee conveniently located near the Strand. Beans are roasted in house, and the results are fantastic! Vibe: Building feels historic and there's a decent amount of seating, outlets, and good wifi. Service by Branch, the roaster and barista, was great and we had a good conversation. Seems like a popular place with tourists, students, and locals alike passing through. Free sreet parking is available, and there's an outside with a few tables too. I ordered a double shot of espresso with the house blend and was very impressed. Smooth velvety texture and a nice balance of mild fruity acidity and mellow chocolate, with nearly no bitterness. A perfect house blend. I will definitely be back when I'm in town.

Excellent place! Coffee is very good really enjoyed my Flat White. The chocolate croissant was pretty good. Place is very nice and comfortable inside. Outside is nice too as long as it’s not windy. Highly recommend.

I stopped by Red Light Coffee Roasters in Galveston and tried their brown sugar iced latte — it was so good I drank it way too quickly! The flavor was perfectly balanced, just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere inside the coffee shop was cozy and rustic, a really welcoming place to relax. I’ll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

The baristas are always so sweet and welcoming. I come here from time to time since I go to school nearby. I love the seasonal drinks. Their coffees are always great and quality. My favorite has to be the old fashioned cold brew. It has hints of citrus from the orange zest and comes together nicely. I really like that they have a straight to the point menu and make their syrups from scratch. I really wish that it was a larger shop so that I can come and study, but it can be a bit too crowded for me to stay. I’m a die hard coffee drinker commuting from houston and this place definitely is the best on the island. I definitely come here to treat myself and never leave disappointed

Anytime someone comes in from out of town, this is the place I take them. Aside from being one of our regular hangouts on any given day. The master barista, the incredible things that are in the fridge for purchase, the baked goods in the atmosphere. It makes for an incredible stop to relax and enjoy a corner of our lovely Galveston. Beautiful outside patio and yard. We sat in the sun one day. Such comfortable areas with the chairs and tables to enjoy. If you don’t see it on the menu, just let them know what you love and they’ll create it for you. This place is the best.

Friendly staff. All syrups made in house so there are no sugar free options available. They do have Splenda and other sweeteners. We got two lattes, one caramel and one mocha. Delicious! Would definitely come here again when in the area.

One of the best coffee shops on the island! Great selection of different kinds of coffee and tea. Baristas are friendly and willing to adjust the order however you like. Nice interior design with quite a lot inside and outside seating. It’s also usually busy with people getting coffee to go and students working on their laptops. Close to the cruise terminal and the Strand. Highly recommend!

Customer service was amazing. This is a nice coffee shop. If you like REAL coffee then this is the spot for you! I got the High Five which, is delicious and not too sweet. My boyfriend got the Shaken sweet cream espresso. He’s not a huge coffee drinker but he enjoyed it. The vibe is everything: it’s peaceful and very clean!

Such a nice coffee shop. Great atmosphere, tasty coffee, the team working there is very friendly. It is very well located and it was quite easy park my car close by. When I arrived it was kind of empty, but few minutes after it was crazy. Really nice place, give it a try. No regrets.

We just out running around on the island and came across this gem! I love finding the local coffee places when I am traveling. They are so refreshing and this one in particularly was amazing! They were tossing some of their espresso beans and oh my gosh it was amazing!!!! The latte and iced coffees were also very good. Made with a couple of their own blends.

Galveston, Texas is a tourist- oriented city and any place that is popular with tourists is certain to have lots of places to eat and drink. That includes coffee shops, and one place I visited just recently is Red Light Coffee Roasters, located just a little west of downtown Galveston and the Strand. With this coffee shop, you get the usual assortment of coffee beverages, along with whole bean bags of coffee to go, and assorted, refrigerated drinks you can also purchase to take home. The coffee drinks are good overall, and my cup of Americano was just what I needed when I stopped by here on a Saturday evening. It was hot, rich, and roasty. Red Light Coffee Roasters has a large coffee roasting machine, right there to greet you, when you enter the building. The roaster is red in color- naturally- and its presence does add to the atmosphere. It’s comforting knowing that you’re in a place where the beans are roasted fresh, adding to the quality of the coffee. They do serve some pastries at Red Light Coffee Roasters. I arrived too late to get a pastry, but they did have pre- packaged snacks, like dark chocolate bars and peanut protein bars. I grabbed a dark chocolate bar, since I knew it would match well with my dark coffee, and it certainly did. I like coffee shops that have assorted seating options, and Red Light Coffee Roasters does have a few choices, including a limited number of outdoor chairs and tables. I like the fact that there is a couch, because I prefer to sit on a couch to enjoy my coffee with my wife. Another couch would be good, but at least they have one and since there were so few people there when I arrived thirty minutes before closing time, we were able to grab it. Red Light Coffee Roasters is located west of the Strand, far enough west that there is free parking on the street. It’s a good place for a tasty cup of coffee and the space is small enough that it shouldn’t get too loud to enjoy conversation. It’s a fine place to visit for coffee and snacks in this seaside town.

I was wondering south of Texas in the low Island of Galveston and needed little Chai so I found a place called red light coffee roaster and my first impression was that it was a very elegant and small Cafe. Staff member was very kind as he recommended which kind of milk to be put in the chai and it tasted very delicious. I needed something cuz I had a 1-hour drive back to Houston, and it's an amazing spot for anybody who would like to have amazing coffee and a chill time. I would definitely go back next time I'm in this town Thank You

Excellent service, very cute seating and wide selection. The green tea we ordered was a little weak, and the espresso was very mild. I would recommend stopping for a latte.

The coffee was good, no sugarfree options. If you are Christian the barista this morning let us know that we all were not welcome the 17 of us that purchased coffee, and even turned the music up so we got the message. We are praying for the young man. But wont be back.
