Stopped in for breakfast today for the first time. I just moved in nearby and saw the good reviews. Asked for chips and salads which they happily obliged me. Comes with traditional tasty salsa with a lil’ spice, and a black bean dip that is incredible. Ordered a Diet Coke (comes in a can) and the Super Burrito. Burrito sauce was super tasty and pretty spicy (to me, but I’m out of practice). Burrito came out and was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Friendly service. Looking forward to trying more of their menu in the future. Looks like I found my new neighborhood Tex-Mex restaurant!
U can't miss this out on Friday's karaoke! The guy is a showman for real 🤣
Picked this little out of the way place off of Seawall Blvd and OH am I glad we did! As avid cruisers we are in Galveston often and love to try new places but hands down this has been our favorite thus far. Friday night and it wasn't overly crowded a man was singing in Spanish but he actually sang a few songs in English. The atmosphere was excellent. Wait staff was very friendly and funny. By far the absolute best Margaritas we have ever had! Food was very delicious and large portions. If you haven't had a chance to try them I encourage you to do so. We will definitely be back
We absolutely loved our waitress. She was a real sweet lady. The food was great. The guy singing was great and was funny. I've never heard play that funky music white boy in Spanish.
Mexican restaurant with comfortable seating and friendly staff. Their sauces for the menu items are so flavorful! Each entree dish s a delight to eat. Soups are good, too. My husband loves their menudo (weekends only). We look forward to eating here each year when we get back to Galveston.
Came in for dinner with family and we had an awesome time .. food was awesome.. waitress was very professional and had great customer service 😍🥰😍
The smallest restaurant I have been in but they have the BIGGEST flavor! Absolutely Fantastic! I was blown away with the tastes. Everyone at my table agreed. We will certainly be back. Thank you Los Lazos for an unforgettable flavorful dining experience.
Karaoke Friday was a blast! Of all the Mexican restaurants on the island, this one is the best. Clean, friendly people and good food.
We live on the island and decided to stop here one day for lunch on a whim. While the building could use a little curb appeal and this restaurant doesn’t advertise like some of the other larger ones, we were not disappointed. This is our new favorite place to get Mexican food! The fajitas were SO good! The burritos were enormous, and the queso was excellent too! A lot of places skimp on the meat, but not this place. The fajita steak was amazingly tender. Los Lazos is some of the best Mexican food we have ever had and I would highly recommend giving them a try if you want authentic Mexican food!
OMG lived on the Island my entire life. Never thought of coming to this place. I Order a bowl of menudo and shrimp tacos to go. I have to return for seconds. Menudo was full of tripe. Pig feet so damn tender. Everything was delicious. Let's not speak of the LEMONADE A Super tasty taste I've never tasted before in my life. The lemonade has a unique taste. I definitely need another drink! Can't wait to dine in.
Really good authentic Mexican food! There are horchatas and margaritas were so delicious, and the plates were very generous in size! The food was delicious and tasted fresh and hot.
Food was so delicious! Service was superb.
Absolutely love this place! They made My huevos rancheros’s exactly the way I . The weight staff was on top of it… They were many people there and we did not have to ask for anything. My favorite is their Horchata drink! This is a place I will be coming back to when I come back to Galveston. The price was very reasonable for four adults.
The food was great. The waitress was awesome. She laughed and joked with us. Made us feel very welcome.
Looking for good food? This breakfast was dang good! This one is worth the price tag. And they have Coca Mexicana, to boot. We’ll be back.
Food was good but not as spicy as I like (which is why only 4 stars). I think the most exciting part about this place was the karaoke. That made my night! I would definitely come back for that. He had his own costumes to go with his random songs. Greatness!
This location has to be a local favorite. Prior to our arrival, I told my Mrs., this was the place. The outside is not spectacular but it's the inside and food that makes this location worth while. The chips and salsa were on point with lots of flavor. The food was filling and homemade which only made it that much more special to me. The barrito I ordered was huge and probably enough for two to share. My son enjoyed his crispy tacos and my Mrs. absolutely loved her homemade flour tortilla chicken tacos. Our wait staff spoke both English and Spanish, which is a huge plus for those who understand some but not all. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting Galvaston, Texas and looking for a great homemade meal!
We went almost as soon as they opened. Not crowded at all, so got our order taken pretty quickly. We got burritos and huevos divorciados. So good, the burritos were kinda big, were only able to eat half of it.
Great local spot for margaritas & tacos!! Friendly staff with great service. The crispy tacos & famous burrito washed down with a lime margarita were all perfectly prepared! Chips & salsa was some if the best in Texas! Definitely be back next tome we're in Galveston!
Decided to stop by here for breakfast after a sunrise walk on the beach and the food was great! My breakfast burrito came out pipping hot stuffed to the max with all the fixings and it has great flavor too. My partner got the three pancakes that came with a choice of bacon or sausage he loved his food too. The staff is friendly and the place is quiet and clean! We will be back next time we come to take a walk on the beach!
Damn delicious! 🥵 I’m so glad I decided to try the weekend specials today instead of my norm. 😜 The barbacoa was so tender and tasty! 😍 And the menudo a warm, spicy, flavorful delight on the cold morning it was! 🤗 I enjoyed it so much I actually brought the rest of the soup home to finish tomorrow, something I’ve never done before! 🤭
The food was great. Super fresh. Good service. Highest recommendation y'all

Had dinner there tuesday night, it was really nice, food was great, waitress was awesome, it is now our Taco Tuesday place
I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The staff was outstanding. I had a breakfast taco with eggs, beans, potatoes, and bacon. The fresh breakfast salsa was amazing. The food was exactly what I wanted which was home made quality tex mex awesomeness! I will go back
Had an amazing lunch! When the waitress or waiter ask us what we would like to eat, we usually ask them for whatever their favorite dish is. This was our experience at Los Lazos. I am not one that would order fish when eating out, but Oh My! This has got to be the best meal I've had on the island! Tilapia covered in a red sauce and shrimp. I was amazed at the tastes of this meal. This is our favorite lunch spot now. Thank you for the amazing meal!
It was my first time and the truth is that I was amazed because the cleanliness of the restaurant, the attention, the speed and the quality of the food is exceptional. Parking is available and it's free, you don't have to worry about paying for parking. They have a show for the guests that is very fun for the family to enjoy. The prices are acceptable to everyone. If you haven't come, I recommend that you do it. It doesn't matter if you don't speak English, here they speak Spanish too.

Was impressed. Place was empty but food, service, atmosphere was great. Chips and salsa was great.
The chips were fresh. The salsa was spicy but thin. It also came with black bean dip, which was thin and delicious. The soft drinks come with come in a can with a cip of ice. There was no sweet tea, but they have several sugar options to sweeten it. We ordered queso for an appetizer, and it was pretty good. Portion sizes were fine.
We came here for dinner for the first time and were still impressed. This place in my opinion has better things for breakfast but by far the best thing for dinner is the salsa. It is served warm and it is just the right amount of spice. They also have pretty good margaritas and aqua frescas.

First time here and the carne gisasdo plate was great
I almost turned around and walked out within the first thirty seconds after entering .... Because my sinuses immediately reacted to allergens present ... somewhere. BUT, being in a group, the decision had been made, and so, I stayed. ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS!! Our green-eyed server, Carolina, was SO much fun! THOROUGHLY enjoyed interacting with her! And THEN came the food. OH. MY. GOSH. AMAZING. I had the Queso Fundito ... it was TO DIE FOR! And the Queso Poblano? Highly coveted! There is no question - I will return EVERY time I visit Galveston!

Not too impressed with this place. Food was so so. Said they had no lunch menu. Bit overpriced for amount of food. Employees not particularly friendly. Probably won't return.
They don’t give you chips and salas on to go orders anymore and wanna charge extra. I spent 50 bucks on 3 entrees and no chips and salsa. Only get it if you dine in smh. I don’t like that for a Mexican restaurant.
Super delicious food had the french toast n barbacoa....spouse had chilaquilas n fajita. Food was delish however they had no o.j for the advertised mimosas at 10am..charged us for 2 even though they could barely make 1 and then refused to serve us a michelada even though another table had one...weird atmosphere but great food.
The atmosphere and staff at Los Lazos are excellent. The food though, we all it's just okay. Not great, but not bad. The meat in the fajita seemed like it may have been frozen and pre-cooked, so it didn't seem particularly fresh. It was just okay. Prices were reasonable, but not cheap by any means. The service was great and the facility was clean. Not really enough parking but we went late afternoon before dinner so we had no problem finding a spot. Like I said, great atmosphere and service, clean store, but if it's all about food, there Re other options
We came here for breakfast. The lady greeted us but already started off by saying we could choose any seat but they had a crowd just sat so it would be about 20 mins before we could place our order. That is fine but they didn't give us menus at least. There were just 2 servers and a chips lady, though she never brought us chips. Finally we were able to put our order in, the server was friendly. After that our food came out in decent time and was good. I had the super burrito which is supposed to have all the meats but it was more potato heavy than anything. It was good, just not the best. If you are in a rush, I recommend trying a different place, but it's a good spot if you're nit in a hurry. Coffee was good and the price is decent. Single.stall bathrooms are a nightmare!
Tried this place because I wanted something different. And it was different. Parking was very hard to find since it was small and already packed for a Friday night. I took this as a good sign. I walk in to very loud singing, a man with an array of wigs singing karaoke. This was ok, but a bit too loud for such a small venue. We were addressed in a timely manner. They provided chips and menus, and returned to take our order soon after. While waiting we had to move because the ac vent started dripping on me and the huge speaker I was sitting next to was a bit much. Across the restaurant the sound was still loud, but by then we had our food so with finger in one ear began to survey our meal. Results were that 2/3 of our meals were delightful. My daughter was disappointed by her enchiladas classico. She said the quality of the cheese was poor and the sauce had no flavor. Her rice was a bit crunchy and also lacked flavor, but that the beans were very good. I enjoyed my sopes, and the salsa and black bean dip provided with chips were very good. My sister enjoyed her al carbon tacos but also was disappointed with the rice. This was an ok place.

They charged me $13 for 8 oz of red salsa and 8 oz of green salsa..... The same size as they put on the tables and end up throwing away about 35% of it at the end of the day. I thought that was outrageous! As an owner/proprietor, I make salsa for diners to enjoy with your meal, at no charge. If I have the opportunity to sell salsa, individually, well that is a PLUS.....not an opportunity to hike the price....

Honestly was not impressed, the beans and rice were lacking. My meal was was not great either, I didn't bother finishing it. My daughter ordered a cheese burger (she is not a fan of Mexican food) she barely ate any of it and thought the bun and cheese tasted funny. I think the bun was a Mexican sweet bread, I do think if your going to offer something kid friendly it should just be super simple for kids. Service was mediocre at best had to wait around for a check and then again for them to take my card back.
Barely eatible and overpriced. We tried it on the way to an event in Galveston, but the quality was pretty terrible. They don't offer a kid meal at all. The best thing they had was the Mexican Coke! Even the chips and salsa were bleh....
The waitress told us to sit in this booth and she would be right back. We didnt sit in booth bc it had food on the table and seats. We had to ask her to clean the table, she wiped the food into the bench seats. We cleaned the seats. I had to clean our slat and pepper shakers bc they were greasy feeling. We then had to order quickly she said bc a table of 9 just sat down and she wanted her order to be in first. There was about 20 empty tables and 5 tables being used. I got 3 tacos, without rice or beans. My tacos basically had NO guts - very little meat, 4 pieces of tomato, 6 pieces of cilanto, 3 pieces of onion and 2 pieces of cheese - it was as if each taco had the fixings counted .. I would have had to order 9+ to even feel it. What I did get didnt taste good and definitely not filling. I had a Tecato beer - it tasted like skunk beer - I left half of it. My wife had an enchilada plate - she left half of it. The waitress came by a few times probably bc it was not busy. When we went to our car, there were 3 kids by our car and it looked as if they were trying to break into it. I yelled at them and they ran across the street to their house. We noticed their mom was sitting on the porch watching them. I dont recommend eating here
I asked for hot sauce and she had to charge $7. You’d think it was a whole bottle.Lost my business.
Arrived at 8 to find out they were closing, Web said they were open until 9, it was ok, opened us up to find a fantastic food trailer across town
