Love eating here! They are open early, cook their meals quickly and the food is always fresh and delicious. I love their strawberry Agua drinks bc non one has strawberry and its so good. They have huge portions and their red sauce is my favorite. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options, and the bar is nice. Their restaurant is actually very beautiful and in a perfect spot of town. If you haven't gone here, you are missing out!

Mario was super friendly and hospitable. He let me know about all of their lunch specials they offer from 3-7 on the weekdays. Everything I’ve tried so far is delicious. The carnitas tacos were super delicious. The meat was moist and tender, not dry, with lots of flavor. Chile relleno is one of my favorite Mexican dishes and they do it right here. Get the chile relleno burrito for an awesome twist. I’ll be back!!

They got my attention when I walked in and saw the wall of tequilas at the bar. The food is great. The happy hour is nice. The beers are cold and the mixed drinks are EXCELLENT. The staff is phenomenal! Polite, helpful and friendly. Family friendly and yet a great place to catch the game. My wife and I have been there 3 times in less than 2 weeks. Could not recommend it more.

My new favorite taqueria. Have been here a few times with our kids. Everyone has loved their food and the people who work here are so friendly and extra sweet to the kiddos. Highly recommend this family friendly taqueria!

Plenty of seating, including both tall and low tables. I’d go back for multiple reasons. Food quality. Presentation. Atmosphere. Cleanliness. The big reason would be Joycee. She treats you like an owner would.

Waiting for Deseret Book to open and noticed the banner sign. Walked in and had a good feeling. Decided to order breakfast. “Joycee” waited on me and couldn’t have been nicer. Plenty of seating, including both tall and low tables. I’d go back for multiple reasons. Food quality. Presentation. Atmosphere. Cleanliness. The big reason would be Joycee. Love the updates the new owners made. This is a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant that is the perfect place to watch all your favorite teams play. They have tv’s in every room playing two different games to satisfy everyone. Service was excellent. Decor is cute. Bar is well stocked and new walk up and order is fast. Our food was delicious and made quickly. Gave it 4/5 because homemade chips and rice need a recipe rework. Still yummy just need a recipe redo. FYI: happy lasts until 7pm and they gave Taco Tuesday & Thursday- bonus!

This place replaced El Gallo and let me tell you it is no where near as good as the place before. The prices are high and different than what you see online. Online said tacos were $2.05 but the menu in the restaurant said $3.50. We ordered the Birria and was told it didn’t come with rice and beans so we ordered one side of them. Then the plates came out with rice and beans. One girl said she was mistaken and it does come with it. Then the another came out and said it didn’t and wanted to charge me. They also advised this with homemade tortillas but we were told they didn’t have any. The worst part was the food! It was bland and just tasted like a roast with water poured over it. The rice had no flavor. The only thing good was the beans and the salsa.

Food is HORRIBLE and made me throw for 2 days I thought the meat smelt kinda sour at 1st. I should have never ate it

Really had high hopes for this place because we loved El Gallo. However, we hate that it switched to counter service ( we already have a counter service and salsa bar restaurant closer to us than this one; they did not give us anything new at all), the prices are relatively high for a counter order place and they are REALLY high for the quality of food. The salsas are just okay, the chips are not good, the food was not good at all. Bland, uninteresting, sad. We will NOT be back. Bring El Gallo back.
