We found this gem through Google Maps recommendation. It had high ratings and it was close to our hotel. Our waitress was very nice and easy to talk to. The ambience was really nice. The food did not disappoint. It was so delicious we were planning our next visit before our dessert arrived. We ordered Wonton soup, Pad Thai, Thai Basil chicken. For dessert we shared a mango sticky rice dish. I can't remember the exact, name of that dish. If you have a craving for Thai food and you are in Anaheim this is the place to try. It will not disappoint.
Amazing place to eat!! They were very kind when serving us. The food was wonderful! Lots of options and variety of food to choose from. The place itself is very clean. We ordered potstickers, yellow curry, salmon and of course had to take some sticky rice home with us for desert!!! 🥰 Wonderful place highly recommend!!!
This has got to be the best Thai food I have ever had found here in the little town of Garden Grove. I did not think of taking pictures until after we had eaten just about everything but what you see here, it’s all amazingly delicious. The people that work here are also very sweet and kind and helpful. I can’t wait to come back and bring the rest of my family.
Wish I could gatekeep because it’s still relatively new, but it’s too delicious not to share and rave about! The food was delicious, portions were substantial enough to split, and the service was attentive and proactive. I highly recommend Krua Siam!
I really enjoyed eating here! The restrooms were super clean, which I really appreciate. The staff was really nice and friendly. The Thai food was delicious — the fried rice was so good and the Pad Thai was really tasty too. The lady who helped us was very sweet. Definitely recommend this place!
Food was delicious and nicely flavored. Pad Thai eew was delicious Shrimp rolls with extra sauce Fried rice combo worth it! Red Curry is an amazing 5 stars Soup with coconut cream is filling! Big portions Bathrooms were clean
INCREDIBLE. The atmosphere is homey & modern. Food presentation is beautiful. And most importantly food is delicious. Our waitress was so kind and attentive. Will be back.
The best Thai restaurant in the area and one of the top ones I have tasted in the last 5 years. Most of the food is very delicious and you will never go wrong with a choice that you make. More so, the chef and employees are super friendly with you and customize based on your needs, which is great. If you’re a Thai food lover, DO NOT miss out in this place.!
Delivers what every family oriented spot should.. warm hospitality, flavorful, authentic Thai, and great value all in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for a weeknight dinner that feels both special and down to earth.
If you happen to be in Garden Grove, or you took the family to Great Wolf Lodge, (right next door) you’re sick of all the junk food there and love Thai food, make sure you hit Tangerine Thai! The food is delicious and authentic, and the staff are very friendly- shout out to Tony I’m sorry we forgot everyone’s names, but you were lovely and the quality of food was phenomenal. We’ll be back!
My son and daughter ate the food. My son is very picky and my daughter only eats Poke. Mac and cheese and broccoli. They both ate everything that was put on the table. We were here a few months ago and will be returning on Wednesday for my sons birthday. 8 years old and he wants to return to the Great Wolf Lodge and Thai food. It's a two minute walk from the front door to the restaurant and we will be running door to door. The food is really good. Great. OK. The best I have had. Really nice people. We were there for July 4th, hotel fun and fireworks. We are returning for the food.
The greatest restaurant I have ever been to!!! I have been going here since I was a little girl and will continue to do so. I recommend this place to all my family and friends and have even brought them myself. They have all loved it and we have even come back. I come probably once every two weeks. I can’t get enough of this place especially their tom yum soup!!
We traveled from Seattle and have eaten our share of Thai. This place is AMAZING! The portions are more than generous, the hospitality is perfect, and the prices can't be beat. We are here for 5 days and have already decided that we'll be back before we leave. Don't sleep on this place. It's worth a visit!
Sis found this place by chance. It's a pretty small restaurant that gets pretty busy but the food was amazing! Hubby ordered the Crying Tiger (beef dish) and loved it. Sister-in-law had the Tom Yum noodles while sis and I shared a Tom Yum pot and Pad Thai. All were delicious and full of bold flavor. But, the best menu items of all was the mango sticky rice! The mango was tender and sweet and the rice was perfect. We shared one order but next time, we may each need our own! Everything looked and smelled so good when it arrived, none of the dishes lasted long enough for photos. Will definitely go back! Prices were reasonable, too. Four main dishes, 3 beers, Thai iced tea, a side dish, and dessert came to $100 + tip.
2nd time here, several years apart. This is very good thai and would be so happy to come back again!! Tonight, we had the Tom Kha Goong (shrimp), pineapple fried rice, Pad Thai, and Red Curry (spicy). The soup could've been spicy as it is intended, but it was very good. The Red Curry (my favorite Thai dish) while spicy was not the 10/10 spicy I asked for. We got to meet the chef and he did say that level was his 10. To me it was a 6 or 7. Other than a disagreement on spiciness, it was perfect on flavor and textures.
Krua Siam – Garden Grove Krua Siam is executing at a high level across the board. The space is clean, bright, and thoughtfully laid out—no clutter, no noise, no gimmicks. Operations feel tight the moment you walk in. The hostess sets the tone immediately: genuinely friendly, welcoming, and on point. Service is efficient without being rushed, which tells you management has their systems dialed in. Now the food—this is where they separate themselves from the pack. Five-star performance, no question. Every dish delivers an explosion of flavors: bold, layered, and balanced. You can taste the freshness, the technique, and the respect for traditional Thai cooking. From appetizers to mains, nothing feels watered down or generic. This is Thai food done right. Bottom line: Krua Siam is not just another Thai restaurant—it’s a well-run operation delivering premium flavor with consistency. If you’re in Garden Grove and serious about food, this is a must-stop. Highly recommended.
Recently opened, hidden gem, scrumptious Thai food restaurant tucked back in unassuming strip mall. We ordered the Green curry, tofu Pad Thai, and Panang. So tasty! Service was fast and friendly. Artfully decorated, comfortable surroundings, very clean! Highly recommend. We will be back!
We came here for a birthday dinner and so glad we did. The people were friendly and the food was tasty. I got the Khao Soi with beef and MIL got the Yellow Curry with Chicken and Jasmine Rice. We didn’t have room for Sticky Rice with Mango (boo!) and I only snapped one pic halfway through.
Good food. Mega size. Bcare4 when ordering cause each dish is enough for 2 ppl at least... Hope to come again! 🙂
Had a great meal here! Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I had green curry with tofu (the tofu is soft in the curry which I love) and egg rolls. I’m a wimp and was sweating even ordering mild so be cautious with your spice level, if you’re not sure, round down.
Absolutely delicious, trust me, I’m from the south east Asia. Unfortunately I’m only on a short vacation to California hence won’t be able to return here often but the food was fantastic, the service was great too. Not sure why this place is not packed with customers
A definite hidden gem! Located way inside a European/American strip mall (which also includes Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine). Worth a visit as well! Thai Tangerine is so quaint with lots of little, delicate touches! I ordered the green curry which came with steamed rice and a side salad, shrimp pad Thai, wonton soup, a side of tofu, an order of dumplings, chicken chow mein, and the classic Thai iced tea. Super delicious and nice comfort food for this cold weather. Will definitely be back again.
Yummy thai dishes with great portion. The seasoning is kind of on the salty side but its still on point
Authentic and generous portion! Love the vibes and the taste was great.
Just tried this new Thai place and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I had the fried rice and it was amazing.
The food was authentic and delicious. We were the only ones dining in the restaurant on a Wed night during the Pandemic, although we saw a lot of people taking out. We had Tom Yum chicken soup, excellent flavor although they included regular mushrooms instead of straw mushrooms. I thought the beef salad was the best dish we had, very fresh vegetables, the steak was not over cooked pink in the middle very tasty. Pad Thai was very good. My wife thought the garlic squid dish was the best dish although it was not on the menu. They were very nice to make the dish for us. The mango rice pudding was also very good for dessert. The Mongolian beef was just okay, normally it includes red chili peppers. The service was good, the restaurant was clean although didn't have restroom access. Plenty of parking. The price was very reasonable
We went out for a family dinner to Thai Tangerine. Our first time. It is cozy and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We loved the food. Perfect portions. We weren't rushed. We will be back.
A friend recommended this place. Great service along with great tasting food! Will definitely be coming back!
Found this awesome Thai restaurant while visiting great wolf lodge. Pleasant staff making exceptional Thai cuisine. Very flavorful and not over spiced. Prices are reasonable. Excited to return back when visiting the location again.

Amazing service and food!! The Spicy Basil Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) was fantastic, as well as the Secret Garden, which was more mild.
We showed up with 17 people on a Saturday night and it was INCREDIBLY impressive how well organized the staff were in accommodating our party. They had a system for separate checks, were speedy and attentive and incredibly kind. The food was delicious. I’ve never been so in awe of a restaurant wait staff and kitchen.
Hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. In a city full of places that prioritize Instagrammable interiors over taste, this restaurant truly stands out for its food. It’s clean, cozy, and serves genuinely delicious Thai dishes. The staff is pleasant and attentive, and the restaurant is run by a lady who cooks her own recipes, which really shows in the flavors. Everything tasted authentic, comforting, and thoughtfully made. The prices are very reasonable (almost surprisingly so for the quality). We enjoyed it so much that we went twice. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Thai food done right and a wholesome meal.
We had a wonderful experience at kura Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We order 3 dishes it was well seasoned . We ordered mild dish and it came very spicy so we called the waiter and the restaurant prepared us a new one . Overall Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere.

Wow. This place is _really_ good. I've had a ton of experience cooking and eating Thai cuisine all over the world (except ironically, not in Thailand!) and this place is in the 99th percentile of all of those experiences for sure. Highly recommend. My dine-in experience consisted of a sampling of curry, noodle, and wok dishes and all were above and beyond normal flavor profiles for these dishes. Not just a typical Thai-American fast casual Thai Restaurant; no– there was some real talent expressed in the slowly braised beef in my Panang curry and an Eggplant wok dish that, from my experience, is very difficult to replicate in the home kitchen. I was unfortunately dining with spice wimps and so I couldn't try the "Thai spicy" spice level they offered but they had a great selection of spice tray, including Prik Nam Pla (pickled Birds Eye peppers in fish sauce), Prik Bon (smoked chili powder), Sambal Oelek (red chili sauce). As you can tell from their condiment selection, they don't skimp on the more expensive but impactful fringe ingredients and spices like curry leaves, lemon grass, kefir lime leaves, etc. Thai iced tea was great too! Didn't have a strong, "mixed directly from powder" taste and it may have actually been brewed as it had a more complex flavor. It wasn't well balanced with a good mix of sweetness and cream (or half-and-half). The ambiance was really modern, clean, bright, and inviting. My waitress was very friendly but during lunch rush, was a little overwhelmed with customers and could have been more attentive toward the end of the meal. Really wish I lived in the area and could go back more often.
Our church has been supporting this local business because we all love it! The owner, Thai, is extremely friendly and dedicated, and our lovely waitress, Sherri, is so attentive and sweet. We have had had their pad Thai, stuffed angel wings, beef boat noodles, tom ka, Tom yum, Thai salad, Thai fried rice and it's all good! They even offer vegetarian options for our church, so no fish sauce and tofu/veggie substitutes!
Staff are fantastic. We got takeaway here. Pineapple fried rice was confusing to us from Australia so we didn't enjoy that at all. Chicken satay skewers were beautiful with a great portion size. Massaman beef was well flavoured but we prefer the traditional massaman slow cooked beef chunks. We got medium spice which was fantastic for my husband but hot for me. Pad se ew was not very flavoured so we wish that had a bit more. Sticky rice with Mango is amazing 10/10 highly recommend. They gave us plates and cutlery which was so convenient.
4 stars only because rice is extra which I find hard to believe. But otherwise the food was delicious ! The red curry was banger , although the consistency was a bit more loose than what I have had elsewhere. The service was prompt. They were accommodating of vegetarian requests.

My husband and I went here with a friend while in town this past week. The service was very fast and our server was very sweet. We got spicy beef basil noodles, panang curry, and pad thai. All three dishes were pretty good; not the best we've ever had, but still quite yummy, and at a decent price. But, a few hours later, my husband and I both didn't feel well and by that evening we were throwing up constantly and running temperatures until 3am. There wasn't anything else we had eaten after getting lunch there, so I'm 99% sure we got food poisoning from eating lunch there... super unfortunate. It was either from the chicken or from the fish cakes chopped up in my dish that my husband also tried a bite of. Other than the food poisoning, the food was pretty alright.
Food tastes good, the down side is that portions are too small and not enough protein on dishes compared to other thai restaurants i have been to. Also, be aware they will add an 18% tip to your bill automatically, which I dislike because we had 3 kids in our party of 6. This was a total rip off. Definitely not coming back here.

Tried calling them over the phone to order, no operating line. So I showed up, to a half-empty restaurant, thinking I can place an order like any other person. Nope. The owner saw me, said “I’m really busy” and refused to acknowledge me in the store. I’ve eaten here before but you’ll catch me dead before I ever return. “We have the right to refuse you service” yes, on the stipulation that they’ve done something wrongful in a public setting. Refusing service just because you’re busy is outrageous.
So an odd thing happened, I ordered, my husband picked up and paid, then I get a call from the lady at the restaurant who says she didn't process it correctly and it returned to his card while I'm out grocery shopping. I tell my husband who is on a work call as I was finishing my grocery shopping the lady from the restaurant proceeds to call me 6 TIMES!! By the time I called my husband when I got out he had already settled it with the restaurant but that was so nuts. My review on the food after I finally got home and tried it is that it wasn't worth being harassed by a stranger while I was shopping. Pad Thai was not the best, not a ton of flavor and all noodles with almost no protein. I probably wouldn't have even reviewed your tasteless pad thai but the tasteless harassment really put it over the line for me. It was your fault to begin with. Chill out and learn some manners. Update: they "fixed" the mistake by charging us double. This place is a mess.
Food was pretty terrible overall. If you order online you get 5% off but it was not worth it. Ordered the beef salad, spicy basil, and pork basil. All three were a miss. Very light on the protein and heavy on the carbs (rice) and veggies. I wouldn’t have mind except they all had no flavor, only spice, and my rice was old and burned.
