Jangmojip is a fantastic spot for authentic Korean food. I had their soybean stew (된장찌개), squid bokkeum (오징어볶음), and barley rice (보리밥), and everything was excellent. The flavors were rich and comforting, just like homemade Korean cooking. The soybean stew had a deep, savory broth with just the right amount of spice, the squid bokkeum was perfectly stir-fried with a nice balance of heat and sweetness, and the barley rice added a wholesome touch to the meal. The food really reminded me of what my mom used to make—warm, satisfying, and full of traditional flavors. If you’re looking for an authentic Korean dining experience, Jangmojip is definitely worth a visit!

You know this is a legit Korean restaurant when all you see are Koreans dining. I was pretty blown away by their dishes especially the octopus rice. I will definitely come back if I am craving a certain Korean dish.

맛있는 부대찌개 식사~ 친절하신 주인아주머니~ ^^ This is such a great restaurant ! Food is delicious and the owner lady is so nice! The price is very reasonable and quality and quantity of the food is more than what you pay definitely. We ordered military soup ; Budejjigae and end up having extra left over for dinner. The lady was so nice giving us many containers to bring home. Highly recommend and looking forward to be back

Solid food, good portions, fair price. The banchan wasn't varied but the different kimchi were pretty good. It wasn't busy and the atmosphere is minimalistic. Great for a quick meal.

For lunch on Sunday our group was the only group not over 50 and speaking Korean. And although the waitresses were not as attentive as they would be in a western style restaurant they treated us well and not speaking any Korean was not an issue. The lunch specials were a good deal and the food was very good, especially the side dishes. The kimchi was especially good and a large barrel of it greats you as you enter.

The food was amazing I got the 김치찌개 and the sides that came with it was good as well! Only thing is the staff aren’t friendly to those of not Korean decent. I came in to order and she said she didn’t speak English so I spoke Korean to the best of my abilities and she understood what I mean but moments later after I sat I heard her and the owner laughing and mocking me:/ it was a little disappointing to hear them talking and laughing about it especially since I was trying to speak another language to help accommodate for the barrier.

The yukgaejung was decent but the bossam was disgusting. The pork belly was super thin and dry with black around the edges. The kimchi and pickled radish that it came with were extremely bitter and we had to spit it out. I actually googled it because I thought we were going to get food poisoning. Turns out its because its old.

The most Horrible restaurant I ever dine in California. They don’t know how to cook Korean food, and their side dishes are tasted bad and not fresh at all. The Interior of restaurant is also so dated and dirty. Please stay way from this restaurant.

I don’t know how to rate this place the Kim chi has been good. But last time I went in to get Kim chi the person behind the counter coughed all over my bucket of Kim chi as she was putting it in the bucket. Like 3 times, didn’t stop it leave and come back or even looked away. The kimchi has been good but I don’t think I’ll ever come back. It’s just really strange to see that.

The raddis was kinda old, bad customer service, never refill water or ask any side dish, they only care for Korean customer, I feel being discriminated in here. They also expect 10% tip which is ridiculous, the service was so bad but I still tip, but later they ask for more tip money. Ridiculous, greedy people! Never come here again. If you're not Korean, don't even consider come here!
